Abstract

This image is displayed as a cursor indicating the detected position of the gaze (the position the user is looking at) on the display of an information processing terminal (digital camera, smartphone, etc.) that detects the user's gaze and is used for inputting operations. The cursor in this image is represented by a semi-transparent circular figure, and the slower the gaze movement speed, the more transparent the cursor becomes. "Image diagram" shows a state in which the cursor is less transparent because the user is moving the gaze at a certain speed or faster, and "changed state image diagrams" 1, 2, and 3 show a changed state in which the cursor becomes more transparent as the cursor moves from the upper left to the lower right of the screen while slowing down after the state shown in "Image diagram." "Reference image diagram for use example" and "Reference image diagrams for use example of changed state" 1, 2, and 3 are examples in which this image is used in a live view image of a camera equipped in an information processing terminal, and show a changed state in which the cursor becomes more transparent as the cursor moves while slowing down as the user moves the gaze to stare at the cat's face.
