Shield with a mirror for oral observation

Abstract

As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Usage State", this article is attached to a penlight and is used when an observer (such as a doctor) observes the oral cavity of an observed person (such as a patient). This article is composed of a transparent shield plate provided with a mirror and a light holder. The mirror is provided inclined with respect to the shield plate by a mirror holder. The mirror surface of the mirror is arranged on the front side. A through hole is formed in the shield plate, and the light holder is fixed to this through hole. The light holder is formed from an elastic material. The tip of the penlight can be fitted into and held in the hole of the light holder. Since the shield plate is transparent, the observer can observe the oral cavity of the observed person through the shield plate. By the shield of this article, the observer is prevented from being splashed by droplets from the oral cavity of the observed person, while the observed person can confirm the state of their pharynx by the mirror.
