Abstract

This article is a packaging container made of a thermoplastic resin or a mixed material containing a thermoplastic resin, pulp, talc, and bioplastic, which is used for packaging foods such as prepared foods and boxed lunches sold at, for example, supermarkets and convenience stores, and can be suitably used for, for example, catering for appetizers at parties. This article includes a container body for accommodating food, a hinge integrally formed with the container body, and a lid integrally formed with the hinge and attached to the container body. The lid has a top surface portion, a side portion provided downward from the peripheral edge of the top surface portion, and a flange portion provided outward from the lower end of the side portion. The side portion has a side surface portion continuous with the top surface portion and a side bulging portion that bulges outward from the side surface portion continuously with the lower end of the side surface portion.
