Abstract
The article of the present design is a chair comprising a seat portion that supports the buttocks of a seated person, a backrest portion that supports the back of the seated person, and legs attached to the lower part of the seat portion. The backrest portion comprises a backrest frame having rising portions extending upward from the left and right sides of the seat portion, a receding portion extending diagonally upward and rearward from the rising portions, and a connecting portion extending from the rising portions to the center in the left-right direction and connecting to the connecting portion. A backrest sheet that deforms in response to the pressure of the seated person's back is stretched over the backrest frame.
