Patent Text Reader

Abstract

The product of the present design is a bookmark for use in books, etc., made of flexible material such as paper, plastic sheet, or steel sheet. The bookmark has small pieces of different shapes on the upper left and right edges of its main body. The bookmark's main body is inserted into any page or the page up to which the reader intends to read, and the small piece on the upper left edge of the bookmark's front view is attached to the page being read. When turning a page, the attached small piece does not move and automatically attaches to the next page, ensuring that the small piece is always attached to the page being read. Because the small piece is always attached to the page being read, unlike conventional bookmarks, there is no need to remove the bookmark from the page or move it to another page. It also prevents the reader from forgetting to return a removed or moved bookmark to the page being read and losing track of the page. By attaching a small piece of a different shape on the opposite edge of the bookmark's top (the right edge in the front view) to the spine of the book, the bookmark's main body does not move, improving stability. Also, by placing this small piece on the opposite page of the book's double-page spread, rather than hanging it on the spine of the book, you can keep the page you want to read open.
