Abstract

The image shown in the "Image Diagram" is an image for displaying weather forecasts and other information. This image, as in the "Reference Diagram Showing Usage Status," is used to perform the function of displaying information such as the weather forecast for a location shown on a map. Specifically, as shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part," this image consists of weather information display area A and weather information display area B. Weather information display area A displays a map of the location pointed to by the pointer and its surroundings, and the amount of snow (depth) on the map is indicated by color. Weather information display area B contains a graph area and a play / stop button. The graph area contains an area graph that shows the snow depth at the location pointed to by the pointer over time, a depth bar that serves as the vertical axis of the area graph, and a time bar. The line on the area graph indicates the snow depth at the location pointed to by the pointer. The area between the line and the horizontal axis of the area graph is colored a specific color. The depth bar is the same color as the snow depth indicated in weather information display area A. The time bar indicates the present and is positioned so that it overlaps with the area graph. The right side of the time bar represents the future, and the left side of the time bar represents the past. Operating (tapping) the play / stop button causes time to pass, and the area graph moves from right to left as time passes. Operating the play / stop button again stops the graph. This allows users to visually grasp the depth of the snow.
