Abstract

As shown in the image, this image uses augmented reality technology to allow the operator remotely controlling the forklift to grasp the actual distance between the forklift and the object being handled (the pallet), displaying a distance indicator (solid and dashed lines) from the pallet, and a solid line indicating the front end of the object being handled. The image showing the changed state, as shown in the image diagrams indicating the name and the image diagrams explaining the changed state, shows the state in which the distance indicator from the pallet and the front end position line of the object being handled have changed in response to changes in the position between the forklift and the object being handled (the pallet). The numerical value (dashed line) indicating the distance from the pallet changes depending on the distance. As shown in the reference diagram showing the operating state, the front end position line of the object being handled is aligned with the front end of the object being handled and the floor. This image is intended to be superimposed on video captured by one or more cameras attached to the remotely controlled forklift, as shown in the reference diagram showing the operating state and the reference diagram showing the changed operating state.
