Coin lock device for shopping carts

Abstract

This item is a coin lock device that is attached to shopping carts and used to connect and disconnect nested shopping carts. As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, which show the state of use, when the key extending from the front shopping cart is inserted into the key insertion portion of the coin lock device of the rear shopping cart, the front and rear shopping carts are connected. As shown in Reference Figures 2 and 3, which show the state of use, when a coin is inserted into the coin insertion portion of the coin lock device of the rear shopping cart, the key is removed, the connection is released, and the rear shopping cart becomes available for use. As shown in Reference Figure 4, which shows the state of use, when the shopping cart is available for use, the key can be inserted into the key retaining hole of the coin lock device to prevent the key from hanging down and swinging around.
