Abstract

The article relating to the present design (hereinafter referred to as "the Article") is a funnel used when transferring a small amount of liquid such as sauce into a small transfer container such as a sauce bottle that is self-standing and has a male threaded portion at its upper end to which a lid is screwed. The Article comprises a funnel body into which the liquid to be poured into the transfer container is poured; a tubular portion extending downward, with its upper end connected to the lower end of the funnel body so as to be able to communicate with the fluid, and its lower part inserted into the transfer container; and a loosely fitting cylindrical portion provided at the lower end of the funnel body, which is loosely fitted to the male threaded portion of the transfer container with its bottom in contact with the tip of the male threaded portion of the transfer container. Furthermore, the bottom of the loosely fitting cylindrical portion of this article is provided with a projection that protrudes downward so as to contact only a portion of the tip of the male threaded portion of the transfer container. This projection extends radially outward from four points at 90° intervals in the circumferential direction of the insertion tubular portion that penetrates the center of the bottom of the loosely fitting cylindrical portion. In addition, the lower part of the insertion tubular portion is provided with a cutout that cuts off the right side from the lower end in the front view, along the vertical plane passing through the center of the insertion tubular portion.
