Abstract

This item is a gate for a rotary weir installed on a river overflow levee. The rotary weir consists of a weir column and a gate, and the gate has a through-hole that extends horizontally, as shown in the reference front view. By fitting a rotating shaft attached to the weir column into this through-hole in the gate, the gate becomes able to rotate. In the rotary weir, under normal conditions, the gate is in a vertical position, as shown in the reference front view, reference plan view, and reference cross-sectional view AA showing the normal state. In the event of a river flood, the gate rotates to a horizontal position, as shown in the reference cross-sectional view AA showing the flood state, thereby allowing water to flow from the river side to the regulating reservoir side.
