Line protection cover

Abstract

The line protection cover 10 of this product consists of a hollow line cover 11 that covers the portion of the reel line that is tied to the leader, and a guide thread 12. The guide thread 12 is a thread that allows the reel line to be smoothly inserted through the hollow line cover 11. The guide thread 12 penetrates the hollow line cover 11 from the inside to the outside at predetermined positions 11a and 11b at both ends of the hollow line cover 11. The guide thread 12 is doubled inside the hollow line cover 11 so that at one end it penetrates the hollow line cover 11 and forms a loop 12a, and at the other end two guide threads 12b1 and 12b2 penetrate the hollow line cover and protrude outside the hollow line cover. The reel line is passed through the loop portion 12a of the guide thread 12. In this state, the two guide threads 12b1 and 12b2 that protrude outside at the other end of the hollow line cover 11 are pulled, causing the reel line to be passed inside the hollow line cover 11. Subsequently, the hollow line cover 11 is used to tie the reel line, which is threaded through the hollow line cover 11, to the leader.
