Abstract

This product is a drainage fitting for connecting existing drainage pipes (mainly cast iron pipes) embedded in the concrete slab of a bathroom to currently used polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes, etc. It is particularly used in the renovation of bathrooms in aging apartment buildings (housing complexes) and old reinforced concrete (RC) houses. This product is an insert-type drainage connector consisting of a thin pipe section, a thick pipe section, and a flange section made of stainless steel. As shown in the "Reference Upper Perspective View Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part," the thick pipe section is designed to be inserted into the existing iron pipe, and the thin pipe section has a threaded structure. When using it, as shown in "Reference Diagram 1 and Diagram 2 Showing the Method of Use," the thick pipe section is inserted into the existing iron pipe, and the PVC pipe, etc. is threaded into the thin pipe section. Furthermore, by fixing the flange section to the slab surface with adhesive, a secure connection and stable retention are achieved.
