Connector between support post and top rail

Abstract

As shown in Reference Figure 1 illustrating the state of use, this product is a connector for attaching a cap rail, made of aluminum or other metal, to the upper end of a support post, for example, a fence post, which is made of aluminum or other metal. As shown in Reference Figure 2 illustrating the state of use, the main body of this product is fitted inside the support post, the fitting projection of this product is fitted into the fitting recess on the lower side of the cap rail, and the fitting projection can be prevented from coming loose by a retaining piece in the fitting recess. Furthermore, the main body of this product and the support post are fixed to the outside of the support post by screws or the like, and the wing portion of this product is fixed to the lower side of the cap rail by screws or the like.
