Light guide components for lighting fixtures

Abstract

This product is a light guide component for lighting fixtures, comprising a small, gently sloping frustoconical incident section, a larger, nearly frustoconical tapered section with a curved surface that widens outward from the incident section towards the base section like the tip of a trumpet, and a lens section connected to the tapered section, with a diameter larger than the illumination surface which is the base of the tapered section. This product captures light from a light source such as a light-emitting diode to the maximum extent possible from the incident section and guides it to the illumination surface which is the base of the tapered section. The lens section then illuminates the front of the lens section with a light beam that has a small divergence angle and is concentrated in the center. In this process, it is possible to prevent the formation of annular patterns around the illuminated light beam. In the reference diagram showing the product in use, this product is depicted in blue, but in reality, the entire product is a solid, transparent body.
