Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the structure of an apparatus for purifying air.
Background Art
[0002] As a processing apparatus for purifying air when exhausting air from inside a factory to the outside, it has been conventionally known to apply a processing liquid to the air to remove foreign substances contained in the air.
[0003] FIG. 14 is a schematic view showing a conventional processing apparatus 900. The processing apparatus 900 includes a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped liquid storage tank 920 that stores a processing liquid 910, a processing cylinder 930 and a discharge cylinder 940 provided on the top plate 921 of the liquid storage tank 920, and a pump 950 that sends the processing liquid 910 from the liquid storage tank 920 to a nozzle 951 provided inside the processing cylinder 930. The processing apparatus 900 sends air from the upper end of the processing cylinder 930 into the liquid storage tank 920, and further through the space above the processing liquid 910 in the liquid storage tank 920 to the discharge cylinder 940, and discharges it from the upper end of the discharge cylinder 940 to the outside, removing foreign substances in the process of the air passing through the processing cylinder 930.
[0004] The processing liquid 910 is sent downward from a nozzle 951 provided in the processing cylinder 930 by the pump 950, for example, at a rate of 80 liters or more per minute, and is ejected at high pressure. By ejecting the processing liquid 910 at high pressure, an air flow is created. Also, the processing liquid 910 is discharged from a discharge portion formed at a predetermined level in the liquid storage tank 920 together with floating foreign substances in excess, and is replenished at a rate of several liters per minute by a replenishment portion 970. Such a processing apparatus 900 is disclosed in Patent Document 1.
[0005] Instead of blowing air by high-pressure ejection of a pump, a processing apparatus using a blower is disclosed in Patent Document 2.
[0006] Furthermore, a treatment apparatus for purifying oil-containing air is disclosed in Patent Document 3. The treatment apparatus in Patent Document 3 has a mesh member installed in a duct through which air flows, and a nozzle is positioned upstream of the mesh member. The treatment liquid is then applied to the mesh member to remove oil contained in the air. Patent Document 4 also discloses a treatment apparatus in which a mesh member for removing oil by applying a treatment liquid is placed in a duct.
[0007] Patent Document 5 discloses an apparatus for treating oil fumes using oil instead of water or aqueous solution as the treatment liquid. Using oil as the treatment liquid, as in the apparatus described in Patent Document 5, is expected to reduce the amount of liquid used for air purification and the frequency of replenishment.
[0008] Regarding the configuration corresponding to the liquid reservoir 920, comparing the apparatus of Patent Document 5 with the apparatuses of Patent Documents 1 and 2, Patent Documents 1 and 2 have a rectangular parallelepiped shape similar to the liquid reservoir 920, whereas in Patent Document 3, the configuration corresponding to the liquid reservoir 920 is a non-rectangular parallelepiped shape with a part of the rectangular parallelepiped removed. [0009] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 48-52669 [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 4173169 [Patent Document 3] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2014-14758 [Patent Document 4] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2005-30718 [Patent Document 5] Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 56-8834 [Overview of the Initiative] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]
[0010] Furthermore, in the processing apparatuses described in Patent Documents 3 and 4, the processing liquid used for air purification is discharged to the outside, which may lead to the use of a large amount of processing liquid. Therefore, it is desirable to circulate some or all of the processing liquid. As with the apparatus described in Patent Document 5, if the lowest part of the flow path is not rectangular, the amount of treatment liquid that can be contained in the apparatus can be reduced. However, the apparatus disclosed in Patent Document 5 is an exhaust treatment apparatus for internal combustion engines, and it cannot be used as is by placing the apparatus disclosed in Patent Document 5 on the indoor or outdoor work floor of a factory or other facility to purify exhaust gases from factories or homes. Thus, there is a need for a device that can accommodate a smaller amount of processing liquid compared to the conventional processing device 900 in a deeper section of the part that forms a non-rectangular flow path, and that can be placed on an installation surface such as a work floor.
[0011] Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a purification device and a method for using the same. [Means for solving the problem]
[0012] The purification device of the present invention comprises an exhaust section through which air flows, and a support section that supports the exhaust section. The exhaust section comprises an exhaust passage that is hollow and has one end forming an inlet and the other end forming an outlet, and a blower that sends the air from the inlet to the outlet. The exhaust passage comprises an upstream section having an inlet and a cylindrical section that guides the air to a position lower than the inlet, a downstream section rising next to the upstream section and having the outlet at a higher part, and an intermediate section located below the upstream and downstream sections, forming the lowest part of the exhaust passage, guiding the air from the lower end of the upstream section to the lower end of the downstream section, and using a part of the inside to store the treatment liquid. The support section supports the intermediate section, a nozzle is provided inside the upstream section, the treatment liquid stored in the intermediate section is sent to the nozzle, the treatment liquid coming out of the nozzle is collected in the intermediate section, and at least a portion of the treatment liquid is circulated for use. The intermediate section comprises a container-shaped section through which the air flows and the processing liquid accumulates, and a reinforcing section. The container-shaped section comprises a flow path forming section formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped container with a rectangular opening at the top and a height smaller than the dimensions of the long edge of the opening, and a deep section formed in the shape of a small container with a smaller volume than the flow path forming section, where a part of the bottom of the flow path forming section is recessed below the rest of the bottom. The deep section is positioned below the upstream section, and the reinforcing section comprises a first reinforcing section provided in the shape of a frame on the outside of the flow path forming section, with the support section supporting the first reinforcing section.
[0013] The method of using the purification device of the present invention comprises an upstream section having an inlet and a cylindrical section that guides air to a position lower than the inlet; a downstream section rising next to the upstream section and having an outlet at a higher part; an intermediate section provided below the upstream and downstream sections, forming the lowest part of the exhaust flow path and guiding the air from the lower end of the upstream section to the lower end of the downstream section; a blower that sends the air from the inlet to the outlet; a nozzle provided inside the upstream section; a pump provided in the middle of the pipe through which oil flows and sending the oil to the nozzle; a heating device; and a support section that rests on the installation surface. The intermediate section comprises a rectangular parallelepiped flow path forming section with a rectangular opening at the top; a deep section provided below the upstream section, where a part of the bottom of the flow path forming section is recessed lower than the rest of the bottom; and a reinforcing section provided outside the flow path forming section and supported by the support section that rises from the installation surface. The method of using the above-described purification device involves introducing the oil and a smaller amount of water into the inside of the deep section, maintaining the oil and water at a desired temperature using the heating device, and, without supplying oil from the outside, circulating the oil by the pump through an annular route consisting of the pipe extending from the deep section to the nozzle in the upstream section outside the upstream and intermediate sections, and the inside of the upstream and intermediate sections, thereby purifying the air containing other oils or soot. [Effects of the Invention]
[0014] According to the present invention, it can be used by placing it on an installation surface such as a work floor. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0016] (Purification device 1) Figure 1 is a front view showing a purification device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 is a rear view showing the purification device 1, Figure 3 is a left side view showing the purification device 1, and Figure 4 is a top view showing the purification device 1. The purification device 1 comprises an exhaust section 10 through which air generated by other manufacturing equipment and discharged outdoors flows, and a support section 50 that lands on the work floor G (installation surface) and supports the exhaust section 10, and performs a purification process to reduce foreign matter contained in the air as it flows through the exhaust section 10.
[0017] The exhaust section 10 comprises an exhaust passage 10A which is hollow inside and has an inlet at one end and an outlet at the other end, and a blower 10B which is provided at the outlet of the exhaust passage 10A and sends air from the inlet to the outlet.
[0018] Figure 5 is an exploded perspective view of the exhaust passage 10A. The exhaust passage 10A comprises an upstream section 100 having an air inlet and guiding air to a position lower than the inlet, a downstream section 200 provided next to the upstream section 100 and guiding air from a lower position to a higher position, and an intermediate section 300 provided below the upstream section 100 and the downstream section 200, forming the lowest part of the exhaust passage 10A and guiding air from the lower end of the upstream section 100 to the lower end of the downstream section 200.
[0019] (Upstream section 100) The upstream section 100 includes a first joint section 110 into which air from other devices flows, and a cylindrical section 120 provided below the first joint section 110.
[0020] Figure 6 is a schematic exploded perspective view of the first joint 110. The first joint 110 comprises a flat joint bottom portion 111, a joint side portion 112 rising from the periphery of the joint bottom portion 111, and a joint top portion 113 located above the joint bottom portion 111, the periphery of which connects to the upper end of the joint side portion 112 and spreads out flat. In the first joint 110, the joint bottom portion 111, the joint side portion 112, and a part of the joint top portion 113 form a rectangular cross-section duct portion 114 (see Figure 5) that protrudes outward. The tip of the duct portion 114 is formed as an opening that is not blocked and leads to the interior, i.e., an inlet 115. Air entering through the inlet 115 swirls along the curved surface of the joint side portion 112 and then flows out through the hole 111A in the joint bottom portion 111, that is, into the downstream cylindrical portion 120. Furthermore, the first joint portion 110 is provided with a joint inspection section 116 on the joint side portion 112. The joint inspection section 116 includes an inspection opening 116A that penetrates the side portion of the joint side portion 112 and leads into the first joint portion 110, and a door portion 116B that can be opened and closed to cover the inspection opening 116A. When the door portion is opened, the outside of the first joint portion 110 is accessible from the inside, and the inspection opening is sized to allow a hand or arm to be placed inside the first joint portion 110.
[0021] The first joint section 110 has a flange section 117 around the inlet 115, and a packing is placed between the flange section 117 and other ducts installed at the factory or other installation location, and the two are connected by fasteners such as bolts and nuts.
[0022] Between the first joint 110 and other ducts installed in the factory, other functional duct members may be provided, as shown by the dashed lines in the left side view of Figure 3 and the plan view of Figure 4. These may include, for example, a fire-resistant joint 400 equipped with a damper that closes the exhaust flow path at a predetermined temperature inside a duct section with a square cross-section, and a joint 500 that tapers downstream to change the size of the exhaust flow path.
[0023] As shown in Figure 5, the cylindrical section 120 includes a cylindrical body section 121 whose inner circumferential surface is configured to match the size of the circular hole 111A in the joint bottom section 111 of the first joint section 110, flange sections 122 and 123 that protrude outward at the upper and lower open ends of the body section 121, an upstream window section 124 provided on the outer circumferential surface of the body section 121 for visually inspecting the inside, and a cylinder inspection section 125 further provided on the outer circumferential surface of the body section 121. The upstream window section 124 penetrates the body section 121 and closes a hole leading to the inside of the body section 121, and includes a transparent member 124A such as glass and a frame section 124B that supports it. The cylinder inspection section 125 penetrates the side of the body section 121 and leads to the inside of the body section 121, and includes a door section that covers the inspection section so that it can be opened and closed. When the door of the cylindrical inspection section 125 is opened, the outside of the cylindrical body section 121 is accessible from the inside, and the inspection opening is sized to allow a hand or arm to be placed inside the cylindrical body section 121.
[0024] The first joint section 110 and the cylindrical section 120 are connected by aligning the center of the hole 111A provided in the joint bottom surface section 111 with the central axis of the downstream cylindrical section 120, inserting a packing in between, and bringing the flange section 123 on the upper end of the cylindrical section 120 into contact with the joint bottom surface section 111 of the first joint section 110, and using fasteners such as bolts and nuts (not shown) that pass through bolt holes provided in them.
[0025] (Intermediate section 300) Figure 7(a) is an exploded perspective view of the intermediate section 300 of the exhaust passage 10A. The intermediate section 300 comprises a container-shaped section 310 through which air flows and processing liquid accumulates, reinforcing sections 320 provided on the outside and inside of the container-shaped section 310, and a plate section 330 that covers a part of the container-shaped section 310.
[0026] The container-shaped part 310 includes a flow channel forming part 311, which is formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped container with a rectangular opening 311A on top and a height H1 set to be smaller than the dimension L1 of the long edge of the opening 311A, and a deep part 312' which is formed in the shape of a small container with a smaller volume than the flow channel forming part 311, with a part of the bottom of the flow channel forming part 311 being recessed downwards compared to the rest of the bottom.
[0027] The bottom of the channel forming section 311 is sized and shaped to form the same contour as the opening 311A in a plan view. Furthermore, the bottom of the channel forming section 311 is located at a shallower position than the deep section 312', and the bottom is divided by a boundary BL that extends parallel to the short edge of the opening 311A, with one end opening as a bottom hole section 311h and the other end being a shallow bottom section 311bt facing upwards. The bottom hole section 311h is located below the upstream section 100 and is wider than the opening end of the cylindrical section 120.
[0028] The side surface of the channel forming section 311 is composed of a side surface rising from the periphery of the bottom, which is formed by the bottom hole section 311h and the shallow bottom section 311bt being arranged side by side. Specifically, the side surface of the channel forming section 311 includes a first side surface section 311F and a second side surface section 311B, which are provided in parallel and form the edge on the long side of the opening 311A, and a third side surface section 311L and a fourth side surface section 311R, which are provided in parallel and form the edge on the short side of the opening. The shallow bottom section 311bt is connected to the lower ends of the first side surface section 311F, the second side surface section 311B, and the fourth side surface section 311R. The bottom hole section 311h, provided next to the shallow bottom section 311bt, forms the opening of the small container-shaped deep section 312', and opens overlooking the upstream section 100 provided above. In Figure 7(a), the boundary BL between the channel forming section 311 and the deep section 312' is represented by a dashed line. In the flow path forming section 311, the interior area enclosed by the first side section 311F, the second side section 311B, the third side section 311L, the fourth side section 311R, the shallow bottom section 311bt, and the bottom hole section 311h is mainly configured as a ventilation space for airflow.
[0029] (deep 312′) Figure 8(a) is a partial cross-sectional view of the purification device 1 along the line S1-S1 in Figure 1, and (b) is a partial cross-sectional view of the purification device 1 along the line S2-S2 in Figure 3. The deep portion 312' comprises a deep bottom portion 312bt' and deep side portions rising from its periphery. In plan view, the deep bottom portion 312bt' is formed as a rectangle with the same shape as the bottom hole portion 311h, and the deep side portions comprise a first side portion 312F', a second side portion 312B', a third side portion 312L', and a fourth side portion 312R' that rise from each edge forming the periphery of the deep bottom portion 312bt'. The deep portion 312' is located below the flow channel forming portion 311 (first side portion 311F, second side portion 311B, third side portion 311L, fourth side portion 311R, shallow bottom portion 311bt, and bottom hole portion 311h) in the vessel-shaped portion 310, and constitutes the deep part inside the vessel-shaped portion 310.
[0030] The following explanation will proceed using the example of a case where the deep section 312' is used as a liquid reservoir, and oil Lq1 as a processing liquid and water Lq2 in a smaller quantity than the oil Lq1 are placed in the deep section 312', as shown in Figure 8(b). The type of oil Lq1 is not limited, but recycled industrial oil can be used as an example.
[0031] In the vessel-shaped section 310, a bottom hole section 311h (deep section 312') is located on the upstream side, and a shallow bottom section 311bt is located on the downstream side. The shallow bottom section 311bt and the deep bottom section 312bt' are configured as a horizontally extending surface or as a slope descending from the downstream side to the upstream side. In the illustrated example, the shallow bottom section 311bt is configured as a slope where the fourth side section 311R is higher and the third side section 311L is lower, and the deep bottom section 312bt' is configured as a slope where the fourth side section 312R' is higher and the third side section 311L' is lower.
[0032] Furthermore, the deep bottom section 312bt' is configured in a valley shape, as shown in Figure 8(a). Specifically, the deep bottom section 312bt' is composed of two slopes that are aligned front to back in a plan view, and the boundary between the two slopes forms a valley shape so that oil Lq1 can collect. In this case, one slope is provided on the first side section 312F' side, where it slopes down from the first side section 312F' side to the second side section 312B' side, with the fourth side section 312R' side being higher and the third side section 312L' side being lower. The other slope is provided on the second side section 312B' side, where it slopes down from the second side section 312B' side to the first side section 312F' side, with the fourth side section 312R' side being higher and the third side section 312L' side being lower. The boundary where the two slopes connect is configured to slope down from the fourth side section 312R' to the third side section 312L'. The shallow bottom section 311bt may also be configured in a valley shape.
[0033] (Reinforcement section 320) Figure 7(b) is a perspective view showing the container-shaped portion 310 and the reinforcing portion 320 of the intermediate portion 300, with the container-shaped portion 310 seen through and only the edge represented by a dashed line. The intermediate portion 300 is provided with the reinforcing portion 320 in the portion where the container-shaped portion 310 guides air from the upstream portion 100 to the downstream portion 200, that is, in the flow path forming portion 311. The reinforcing portion 320 comprises a first reinforcing portion 321 surrounding the lower portion of the flow path forming portion 311, a plurality of second reinforcing portions 322 provided around the flow path forming portion 311 and rising from the first reinforcing portion 321, and a third reinforcing portion 323 surrounding the higher portion of the flow path forming portion 311. The first reinforcing portion 321 is provided in a frame shape on the outside of the first side portion 311F, the second side portion 311B, the third side portion 311L, and the fourth side portion 311R, and for example, its mounting position is set higher than the uppermost end of the slope which forms the shallow bottom portion 311bt. The third reinforcing portion 323 is provided in a frame shape on the outside of the first side portion 311F, the second side portion 311B, the third side portion 311L, and the fourth side portion 311R, and for example, its mounting position is set at the upper ends of the first side portion 311F, the second side portion 311B, the third side portion 311L, and the fourth side portion 311R which constitute the opening 311A.
[0034] The first reinforcing section 321, the second reinforcing section 322, and the third reinforcing section 323 are composed of one or more reinforcing components 40. Figure 7(c) is a front view of the reinforcing component 40, and Figure 7(d) is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the reinforcing component 40 along the line S3-S3 in Figure 7(c). The reinforcing component 40 has a base portion 41 formed in the shape of a rectangular plate with a surface facing the vessel-shaped portion 310, and rectangular plate-shaped protrusions 42 that are smaller than the base portion 41 and extend perpendicularly from one edge and the other edge of the base portion 41, respectively, forming a U-shaped cross section, and the spacing W of the protrusions 42 is set to be smaller than the dimension L2 between the two ends of the base portion 41 where there are no protrusions 42 (from one end to the other), resulting in an elongated shape. In the following explanation, a reinforcing component 40 that is attached so that its longitudinal direction extends horizontally from one end to the other will be called a horizontal member 40A, and a reinforcing component that is attached so that its longitudinal direction extends vertically from one end to the other will be called a vertical member 40B.
[0035] The first reinforcing section 321 and the third reinforcing section 323 are arranged in a frame-like manner by connecting horizontal members 40A of different lengths: longer ones attached to the first side section 311F and the second side section 311B, and shorter ones attached to the third side section 311L and the fourth side section 311R. The two long horizontal members 40A are provided parallel to each other, and are also provided parallel to the long edge of the opening 311A. The two short horizontal members 40A are provided parallel to each other, and are also provided parallel to the short edge of the opening 311A.
[0036] The second reinforcing section 322 is provided with vertical members 40B of the same length along the corners where the first side section 311F and the third side section 311L connect, the corners where the first side section 311F and the fourth side section 311R connect, the corners where the second side section 311B and the third side section 311L connect, and the corners where the second side section 311B and the fourth side section 311R connect, and is also provided at locations away from the corners.
[0037] In the first reinforcing section 321, the second reinforcing section 322, and the third reinforcing section 323, which are provided on the outside of the vessel-shaped section 310, each reinforcing component 40 (40A, 40B) is fixed to the vessel-shaped section 310 by bringing the surface 411, where the protruding portion 42 does not extend from the base 41, into contact with the vessel-shaped section 310. As a fixing method, each reinforcing component 40 (first reinforcing section 321, second reinforcing section 322, and third reinforcing section 323) is attached to the vessel-shaped section 310 by welding, bolts and nuts passed through bolt holes provided in each reinforcing component 40 (first reinforcing section 321, second reinforcing section 322, and third reinforcing section 323) and the vessel-shaped section 310, or by bringing the reinforcing component 40 (first reinforcing section 321, second reinforcing section 322, and third reinforcing section 323) close to the surface of the vessel-shaped section 310 via a bracket or the like.
[0038] Each horizontal member 40A constituting the first reinforcing section 321 has two protrusions 42 arranged vertically, with the lower protrusions 42 positioned at the same height. More precisely, each protrusion 42 (lower side) is positioned on a virtual first horizontal plane, and a first mounting surface facing downwards is provided on the lower side of the protrusion 42. In the illustrated example, the first mounting surface 321A of the long horizontal member 40A attached to the first side section 311F and the second side section 311B is used.
[0039] In the multiple horizontal members 40A that make up the third reinforcement section 323, two protrusions 42 are arranged so that they are aligned vertically. In the third reinforcement section 323, the upstream section 100 and downstream section 200 are attached using the protrusion 42 provided on the higher side, as will be described later. The protrusions 42 (upper side) of each horizontal member 40A that make up the third reinforcement section 323 are arranged on a virtual second horizontal plane. In addition, in the third reinforcement section 323, the ends of adjacent horizontal members 40A are also welded, and gaps at connection points are sealed by welding, making it impossible for liquids or air to pass through.
[0040] Furthermore, the reinforcing section 320 has two horizontal members 40A provided inside the third reinforcing section 323 as a fourth reinforcing section 324. The first side portion 311F and the second side portion 311B of the vessel-shaped portion 310 are each formed with a notched reinforcing passage portion 311T at a portion of their upper ends to allow the fourth reinforcing section 324 to pass through. One end of the two fourth reinforcing sections 324 (horizontal members 40A) is fixed by welding or the like to a horizontal member 40A provided on the outside of the first side portion 311F, and the other end is fixed by welding or the like to a horizontal member 40A provided on the outside of the second side portion 311B. The two fourth reinforcing sections 324 are fixed together by welding or the like, with the surfaces 411 of the base 41 that do not have the protrusions 42 aligned. In one of the fourth reinforcing sections 324 closer to the third side surface 311L, the inner surface 412 of the base 41 on the side with the two protrusions 42 faces the third side surface 311L, while in the other fourth reinforcing section 324 closer to the fourth side surface 311R, the inner surface 112 of the base 41 faces the fourth side surface 311R. In each horizontal member 40A constituting the fourth reinforcing section 324, the two protrusions 42 are arranged vertically. The protrusion 42 on the higher side is at the same height as the protrusion 42 on the higher side of the horizontal member 40A constituting the third reinforcing section 323, which is located outside the vessel-shaped section 310. In other words, the respective protrusions 42 of the third reinforcing section 323 and the fourth reinforcing section 324 are arranged on a virtual second horizontal plane. Furthermore, instead of using a U-shaped cross-section, an L-shaped angle or the like may be used as the reinforcing component 40 that constitutes the fourth reinforcing section 324.
[0041] In the third reinforcement section 323 and the fourth reinforcement section 324, two mounting surfaces (second mounting surface and third mounting surface) arranged in a frame shape are provided so as to face upward on the second horizontal plane. In Figure 7(b), reference numerals M1 to M6 are used to distinguish between the horizontal members 40A that constitute the second mounting surface and the horizontal members 40A that constitute the third mounting surface. The second mounting surface is formed by a frame-like arrangement of a horizontal member 40A (M1) along one short edge of the opening 311A in the third reinforcing section 323, a fourth reinforcing section 324 (M2) provided parallel to it, and a portion (M31, M41) of the horizontal member 40A of the third reinforcing section 323 along the long edge that connects the ends of these sections, with the protruding portion 42 (upper side) of these sections facing upward. The third mounting surface is formed by a frame-like arrangement of a horizontal member 40A (M5) along the other short edge of the opening 311A in the third reinforcing section 323, a fourth reinforcing section 324 (M6) provided parallel to it, and other parts (M32, M42) of the horizontal member 40A of the third reinforcing section 323 along the long edge that connects the ends of these sections, with the protruding parts 42 (upper side) of these sections facing upward.
[0042] Figure 8(c) is an enlarged view of the area enclosed by the dashed circle in Figure 8(b), where a portion of the third reinforcing portion 323 is provided to protrude above the opening of the vessel-shaped portion 310. The upper end of the side portion constituting the opening 311A of the vessel-shaped portion 310 is positioned lower than the upper protrusions 42 of the third reinforcing portion 323 and the fourth reinforcing portion 324, and is fixed to the surface 411 by welding. A portion of the fourth reinforcing portion 324 also protrudes above the opening of the vessel-shaped portion 310. The gap between the third reinforcing portion 323 and the side portions of the vessel-shaped portion 310 (first side portion 311F, second side portion 311B, third side portion 311L, and fourth side portion 311R) is filled with welding 313 to prevent the formation of a gap.
[0043] The fourth reinforcing portion 324 is provided inside the third reinforcing portion 323 and above the deep portion 312', and as shown in Figure 7(b), the mouth 311A of the vessel-shaped portion 310 is also divided into two rectangular openings. Hereinafter, the upstream side will be called the upstream opening OP1 and the downstream side will be called the downstream opening OP2. In the intermediate portion 300, the plate portion 330 covers the upstream opening OP1. The plate portion 330 has a rectangular outline and a hole 331 that penetrates through to the center. The peripheral region of the plate portion 330 rests on a frame-shaped second mounting surface composed of the third reinforcing portion 323 and the fourth reinforcing portion 324. The plate portion 330 is fixed by welding without leaving any gaps between it and the protruding portions 42 of the third reinforcing portion 323 and the fourth reinforcing portion 324, or, as shown in Figure 8(c), a packing 61 is placed between the plate portion 330 and the protruding portions 42 and fixed with bolts and nuts that pass through the holes that penetrate them.
[0044] The reinforcing portion 320 provided on the container-shaped portion 310 functions as a support for the upstream portion 100. In the divided exhaust passage 10A, the upstream portion 100 is attached to a plate portion 330 placed on the second mounting surface (third reinforcing portion 323 and fourth reinforcing portion 324) and rises up. The holes 331 in the plate portion 330 are formed to be the same as the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body portion 121, and the cylindrical portion 120 rests on the plate portion 330 with the central axis of the cylindrical body portion 121 aligned with the center of the holes in the plate portion 330. A packing is placed between the flange portion 122 on the lower end of the cylindrical portion 120 and the plate portion 330, and is fixed with bolts and nuts that pass through the holes that penetrate them. As a purification process, the purification device 1 applies oil Lq1 to the air flowing through the upstream portion 100, as will be described later, to reduce the amount of oil (other oils) as foreign matter contained in the air.
[0045] The intermediate section 300 is equipped with a first residual amount reduction section 340 in the flow path forming section 311, which reduces the amount of residual oil by converting any oil remaining in the treated air into droplets as the treated air, which has undergone oil reduction purification treatment in the upstream section 100, flows toward the downstream section 200. Figure 9(a) is a schematic perspective view showing the internal structure of the intermediate section 300, and the first residual amount reduction section 340 comprises a plurality of mesh-like sections 341 through which the air flowing toward the downstream section 200 passes, and mesh support sections 342H and 342L extending from the first side section 311F to the second side section 311B inside the container-shaped section 310.
[0046] Figure 9(b) is a front view of the mesh portion 341, and Figure 9(c) is a right side view of the mesh portion 341. Each mesh portion 341 includes a ventilation portion 341A with multiple ventilation holes for allowing air to pass from the upstream side to the downstream side, and a bent portion 341B that protrudes in different directions from the end of the ventilation portion 341A and engages with the mesh support portions 342H and 342L.
[0047] The mesh support sections 342H and 342L are each formed in a rod shape, with one end fixed to the first side section 311F and the other end fixed to the second side section 311B. One mesh support section 342H is provided at a higher position, and the other mesh support section 342L is provided at a lower position. Furthermore, to prevent them from being aligned vertically, in the illustrated example, the mesh support section 342L provided at the lower position is offset towards the fourth side section 311R compared to the mesh support section 342H provided at the higher position. Six mesh sections 341 are provided, and each mesh section 341 is configured to be able to be inserted and removed using the intermediate inspection section 350 provided on the second side section 311B. Three of the mesh sections 341 are used by attaching the bent section 341B to the mesh support section 342H provided at the higher position, and the remaining three mesh sections 341 are used by attaching the bent section 341B to the mesh support section 342L provided at the lower position.
[0048] The mesh portion 341 is constructed, for example, by overlapping multiple sheet-like portions, forming a rectangular periphery, and folding one edge. Each sheet-like portion has multiple ventilation holes, which are formed in a rhomboid shape. In the sheet-like portion, multiple ventilation holes are densely arranged vertically and horizontally at a pitch equivalent to the diagonal of the rhomboid shape of the ventilation holes. The size of the ventilation holes is, for example, 12 mm for the long diagonal and 7 mm for the short diagonal, and the sheet-like portion is configured with an opening ratio of 73.8%, but it is not limited to this.
[0049] In Figure 9(a), of the six mesh sections 341, one located at a high position and one located at a low position are shown with solid lines, while the others are shown with dashed lines. The mesh section 341 that hangs over the mesh support section 342H has a ventilation section 341A that extends from one mesh support section 342H to the other mesh support section 342L, and the mesh section 341 that hangs over the mesh support section 342L has a ventilation section 341A that extends from the lower mesh support section 342L to the shallow bottom section 311bt. On both the mesh support section 342H side and the mesh support section 342L side, the three mesh sections 341 are provided overlapping each other to some extent. The mesh portion 341 supported by the lower mesh support portion 342L rests its lower end on the shallow bottom portion 311bt, while the mesh portion 341 supported by the upper mesh support portion 342H rests its lower end on another mesh portion 341 that is attached to the lower mesh support portion 342L.
[0050] As shown in Figure 8(b), the higher mesh support section 342H is positioned closer to the fourth reinforcing section 324 (horizontal member 40A) and below the downstream opening OP2, providing a clearance between it and the fourth reinforcing section 324 (horizontal member 40A). The mesh support sections 342H and 342L are not limited to cylinders; other shapes that can accommodate the bent section 341B may also be used. The intermediate inspection section 350 includes an inspection opening that penetrates the second side surface 311B of the intermediate section 300 and leads into the intermediate section 300, and a door that can open and close to cover the inspection opening. When the door is opened, the outside of the flow path forming section 311 leads to the inside, and the inspection opening is sized to allow a hand or arm to be placed inside the flow path forming section 311. As shown in Figure 2, the inspection opening of the intermediate inspection section 350 is located on the side of the flow path forming section 311 of the container-shaped section 310, in a place that is not covered by the reinforcing section 320 (first reinforcing section 321, second reinforcing section 322, third reinforcing section 323) and is exposed to the outside.
[0051] (Downstream 200) As shown in Figure 5, the downstream section 200 of the exhaust passage 10A includes an upward guide section 210 that guides air upward, a second joint section 220 provided above the upward guide section 210 that changes the direction in which the air is discharged laterally, and a third joint section 230 provided between the downstream end of the second joint section 220 and the blower 10B.
[0052] As shown in Figure 8(b), the upper guide section 210 includes a rectangular tube section 211 with a central axis extending vertically, a tapered section 212 provided above the rectangular tube section 211 with the higher side tapering, and a second residual amount reduction section 213 provided inside the rectangular tube section 211 to reduce the amount of oil remaining in the air by converting it into droplets. The second residual amount reduction section 213 is provided with a mesh material such as wire mesh.
[0053] The upper guide section 210 has a flange section 214 for attachment to the intermediate section 300 that protrudes outward from the lower end of the rectangular tube section 211. The retractable section 212 has a central axis that is an extension of the central axis of the rectangular tube section 211 and extends upward from the open end at the upper end of the rectangular tube section 211. It is composed of four trapezoidal side sections 212A such that the interior gradually becomes smaller from the upstream side to the downstream side. One of the side sections is provided with a downstream inspection section. The downstream inspection section includes an inspection opening that penetrates the side section of the retractable section 212 and leads into the retractable section 212, and a door section that covers the inspection opening so that it can be opened and closed. The upper guide section 210 has a plate section 215 at the downstream open end of the retractable section 212, and the plate section 215 is provided with a hole 216 that goes through it.
[0054] The second joint 220 is a so-called elbow, with its upstream open end formed to be the same as the hole 216 provided in the plate portion 215 of the upper guide portion 210. The flange portion 221 that protrudes outward at the upstream open end is placed between the plate portion 215 of the upper guide portion 210 and a packing, and is fixed with bolts and nuts passed through the bolt holes that penetrate them.
[0055] The third joint 230 is configured to reduce the transmission of vibrations from the blower 10B to the second joint 220 by using softer components compared to the second joint 220 and the blower 10B. The third joint 230 comprises a pipe body 231 with open ends that allow air to pass through, made of a resin-coated fabric material such as canvas as the base material, and flanges 232 and 233 provided at both ends of the pipe body 231, which are made of a harder material such as stainless steel. The upstream flange 232 is fixed to the flange 222 at the downstream open end of the second joint 220, and the downstream flange 233 forms the outlet of the exhaust passage 10A and is further connected to the intake of the blower 10B. The exhaust passage 10A is composed of stainless steel plates and cylindrical members for almost its entirety, except for the pipe body 231 of the third joint 230.
[0056] (Attachment of the downstream section 200 to the intermediate section 300) The reinforcing portion 320 provided on the vessel-shaped portion 310 functions as a support for the downstream portion 200. The flange portion 214 of the upper guide portion 210 rests on a third mounting surface composed of a third reinforcing portion 323 and a fourth reinforcing portion 324. The flange portion 214 of the upper guide portion 210 is fixed to the protruding portions 42 of the third reinforcing portion 323 and the fourth reinforcing portion 324 by welding, or by inserting a packing between the flange portion 214 and the protruding portion 42 and fixing it with bolts and nuts that pass through holes that penetrate them, thereby connecting the downstream portion 200 to the intermediate portion 300.
[0057] (Blower device 10B) The blower 10B is configured with an intake port that leads to the exhaust passage 10A facing sideways, and an air outlet that is positioned higher than the intake port and facing upward. As the blower 10B, a sirocco fan can be used, or other blowing means comprising a blower and a duct member housing it inside can be used. The following explanation will proceed using the sirocco fan shown in the illustration. In the illustration, the exhaust section 10 is preferably configured with the blower 10B positioned downstream of the exhaust passage 10A, but the blower 10B may also be positioned upstream of the exhaust passage 10A.
[0058] (Support part 50) The support section 50 includes a flow path support section 50A that supports the exhaust flow path 10A and a fan support section 50B that supports the blower 10B.
[0059] (Flow path support section 50A) Figure 10 is an exploded perspective view showing the intermediate section 300 and the flow path support section 50A. The flow path support section 50A comprises a first leg section 51F and a second leg section 51B that support the first reinforcing section 321 (cross member 40A) of the intermediate section 300 of the exhaust flow path 10A. The first leg section 51F and the second leg section 51B are provided separately, and a part of the vessel-shaped section 310 can fit between the first leg section 51F and the second leg section 51B. The first leg section 51F supports the long cross member 40A provided on the outside of the first side surface section 311F of the vessel-shaped section 310 by the first reinforcing section 321, and the second leg section 51B supports the long cross member 40A provided on the outside of the second side surface section 311B of the vessel-shaped section 310 by the first reinforcing section 321.
[0060] The first leg section 51F and the second leg section 51B each include a plurality of upright sections 511 rising from the work floor G, a mounting section 512 supported from below by the upright sections 511 and on which the first reinforcing section 321 (horizontal member 40A) of the intermediate section 300 of the exhaust passage 10A rests, and an upright connecting section 513 provided between the upright sections 511. The upright sections 511 are made of vertical members 40B (reinforcing components) similar to the second reinforcing section 322. The mounting section 512 and the upright connecting section 513 are made of horizontal members 40A (reinforcing components) similar to the first reinforcing section 321 and the third reinforcing section 323. In the first leg section 51F, the vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A are provided such that the side 412 on which the protruding portion 42 is provided at the base 41 of the vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A faces the first side section 311F. Compared to the vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A that constitute the reinforcing section 320, the first leg section 51F is constructed with the orientation of its surface inversely relative to the intermediate section 300. Similarly, in the second leg section 51B, the vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A are provided such that the surface 412 on the side of the base 41 of the vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A that has the protruding portion 42 faces the second side section 311B. The long horizontal member 40A that constitutes the mounting section 512 is provided with the protruding portions 42 arranged vertically, and the protruding portion 42 located on the higher side is provided with a support-side mounting surface 512A that faces upward.
[0061] In the first leg section 51F and the second leg section 51B, vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A are arranged symmetrically with respect to a virtual vertical plane provided midway between them, and the same number of upright sections 511 are provided, with the same number of rod-shaped members 52 provided between the first leg section 51F and the second leg section 51B. Each rod-shaped member 52 is arranged parallel to the others, with one end of each rod-shaped member 52 fixed to the upright section 511 of the first leg section 51F and the other end fixed to the upright section 511 of the second leg section 51B. The attachment points of the rod-shaped members 52 to the upright sections 511 are preferably lower than the container-shaped section 310 that fits between the first leg section 51F and the second leg section 51B, for example, set at a low location near the lower end of the upright section 511. Furthermore, in the first leg portion 51F and the second leg portion 51B, the lower end of the upright portion 511 may be configured as an adjustment portion whose downward protrusion length is variable to match the unevenness of the installation surface.
[0062] As shown in Figure 1, the intermediate section 300 is positioned lower than the first reinforcing section 321, between the first leg 51F and the second leg 51B. Furthermore, at the first reinforcing section 321 of the intermediate section 300, the long horizontal member 40A provided on the first side surface 311F of the vessel-shaped section 310 is placed on the mounting portion 512 of the first leg 51F, and the long horizontal member 40A provided on the second side surface 311B of the vessel-shaped section 310 is placed on the mounting portion 512 of the second leg 51B. The first mounting surface 321A of the first reinforcing section 321 directly or indirectly aligns with the support-side mounting surfaces 512A of the first leg 51F and the second leg 51B, and the intermediate section 300 is fixed to the flow path support section 50A by bolts and nuts passing through holes that penetrate them, or by direct welding. The intermediate section 300 is held at a predetermined height away from the work floor G by the flow path support section 50A.
[0063] (Fan support section 50B) The fan support section 50B holds the blower 10B at a high position above the work floor G such that the intake port of the blower 10B faces the downstream opening end of the third joint section 230. As shown in Figure 1, the fan support section 50B comprises a plurality of upright sections 531 rising from the work floor G, a plurality of upright connecting sections 532 provided between the upright sections 531, and a mounting section 533 on which the fan is placed, supported from below by the upright sections 531 and the upright connecting sections 532. Although not shown in the figure, there are two upright sections 531 on the front side and two on the rear side separated from them, and these are connected via the upright connecting sections 532 and the mounting section 533. The upright sections 531, upright connecting sections 532 and mounting section 533 of the fan support section 50B are fixed at each end by welding or the like using vertical members 40B and horizontal members 40A, similar to the flow path support section 50A. The mounting section 533 on which the blower 10B is placed may use a plate instead of the horizontal member 40A (reinforcement section), and preferably a plate-shaped rubber 54 is sandwiched between the blower 10B and the mounting section 533, and the blower 10B is fixed to the fan support section 50B with bolts and nuts. The lower end of the upright section 531 may be configured as an adjustment section with a variable downward projection length. The fan support section 50B is fixed to the flow path support section 50A via a bracket (not shown).
[0064] (Oil Lq1 circulation) The purification device 1 is equipped with an annular route through which oil Lq1, as the treatment liquid, circulates. The annular route consists of pipes dedicated to the treatment liquid, provided on the outside of the upstream section 100 and the intermediate section 300, and the inside of the upstream section 100 and the intermediate section 300. Oil Lq1 accumulated in the deep section 312' is guided to the upstream section 100 via the pipes on the outside of the intermediate section 300 and the upstream section 100, where it is ejected from its interior (air passage), and returns to the deep section 312' through the interior (air passage) of the upstream section 100 and the intermediate section 300, which are used for air supply. Here, Figure 11(a) is a schematic piping diagram for the treatment liquid of the purification device 1, and the purification device 1 comprises a liquid outlet 71 provided on the fourth side portion 312R' of the deep portion 312', a first pipe 72 connected to the liquid outlet 71, a strainer 73 with its upstream open end connected to the downstream open end of the first pipe 72, a second pipe 74 connected to the downstream open end of the strainer 73, a pump 75 with its suction port connected to the downstream open end of the second pipe 74, a third pipe 76 piped from the outlet of the pump 75 through a through hole in the upstream portion 100 into the upstream portion 100, and a nozzle 77 provided at the end of the third pipe 76, and oil Lq1 is sent from the deep portion 312' to the nozzle 77 by the drive of the pump 75.
[0065] The strainer 73 is configured with a split downstream section, where one branch forms the downstream flow path, and the other branch protrudes downward to form a containment section for collecting foreign matter captured by the filter at the branching point. A removable plug is provided at the foreign matter discharge port at the tip, and the foreign matter can be discharged by removing this plug. Other strainer structures can also be used.
[0066] Figure 11(b) is a partial end view of the purification device 1 along the line S4-S4 in Figure 1. In Figure 11(b), the details of the exhaust passage 10A are omitted, and the passage forming section 311 and the upper guide section 210 are shown with dashed lines, while the pump 75 and its surroundings are shown. The purification device 1 includes support rods 751 such as ball screws extending downward from the upright connecting section 513 of the first leg section 51F and the upright connecting section 513 of the second leg section 51B, which constitute the passage support section 50A, and a pump mounting section 752 suspended from the lower ends of the multiple support rods 751, with each end fixed to it. The pump mounting section 752 can use the same material as the vertical members 40B (reinforcement section) and horizontal members 40A (reinforcement section) of the intermediate section 300, and its width and length are set so that the pump 75 can be mounted on it. The pump 75 is placed on the pump mounting section 752 and positioned in the space below the shallow bottom section 311bt that constitutes the exhaust passage 10A. Although not shown in the illustration, the pump 75 may be fixed to the pump mounting section 752 with bolts and nuts, with a rubber plate or the like (not shown) placed between it and the pump mounting section 752. Alternatively, instead of a suspension structure, the pump mounting section 752 may be mounted on the upright connecting section 513 of the first support section 51F and the second support section 51B.
[0067] The pump 75 drives the oil Lq1 out of the nozzle 77 into the air flowing through the upstream section 100. The oil Lq1 either travels down the inner surface of the first joint section 110 and the cylindrical section 120 of the upstream section 100, or falls directly towards the deep section 312', passing through the lower end of the cylindrical section 120 into the intermediate section 300, where it settles in the deep section 312', which forms the deepest part of the intermediate section. In the purification device 1, the oil Lq1 that comes out of the nozzle 77 returns to the deep section 312' of the intermediate section 300, so the oil Lq1 can be used by circulating it through an annular route.
[0068] (Nozzle 77) In the illustrated example, four nozzles 77 are provided in the upstream section 100. One is provided in the first joint section 110, and three nozzles are provided in the cylindrical section 120, spaced vertically apart. In the first joint section 110, the nozzles 77 are oriented horizontally so that the oil Lq1 is ejected in the direction of air flow entering from the inlet 115. In the cylindrical section 120, all three nozzles 77 are oriented downwards. As shown by the dashed lines in Figure 11(a), oil Lq1 is ejected from each nozzle 77 at a wide angle. The ejection angles are set larger for the two nozzles located higher in the cylindrical section 120, and smaller for the lowest nozzle 77 and the nozzle 77 in the first joint section 110, but the ejection angles are not limited. The number of nozzles 77 is not limited to four; one or any other number may be provided. For example, one nozzle may be placed in the first joint section 110 and another in the cylindrical section 120 to constitute the purification device 1. Furthermore, the placement locations are not limited to the illustrated example and may be changed.
[0069] Furthermore, the purification device 1 includes a heating device 81 for heating the oil Lq1 and a measuring device 82 for measuring the temperature of the oil Lq1 in the deep part 312', both located in the deep part 312'. In the illustrated example, the heating device 81's heating element 81A and the measuring device 82A are located on the second side surface 312B' of the deep part 312', with the heating element 81A of the heating device 81 and the measuring element 82A of the measuring device 82 protruding into the deep part 312'.
[0070] (Liquid level window) Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the third side surface 312L' of the deep section 312' is provided with a liquid level window for visually inspecting the inside of the deep section 312'. The liquid level window covers a hole penetrating the deep section 312' and comprises a transparent material such as glass and a frame that supports it. In the illustrated example, two liquid level windows 83L and 83H are provided separated vertically, so that when water is added to the deep section 312' in addition to oil Lq1, the lower liquid level window 83L is used to check the interface between water and oil Lq1, and the higher liquid level window 83H is used to check the liquid level of oil Lq1. The liquid outlet 71, heating section 81A, and measuring section 82A of oil Lq1 are located higher than the interface between water and oil Lq1.
[0071] (Liquid discharge part) The third side section 311L is further provided with liquid discharge sections. As shown in Figure 3, there are two such sections. One liquid discharge section 84L is positioned closer to the deep bottom section 312bt', while the other liquid discharge section 84H is positioned higher than liquid discharge section 84L. When water is added to the deep section 312' in addition to oil Lq1, if the higher liquid discharge section 84H is positioned higher than the interface between oil Lq1 and water Lq2, only oil Lq1 can be discharged. The liquid discharge sections 84L and 84H are equipped with through-holes that penetrate the third side section 312L' and liquid discharge pipes located outside the deep section 312' and connected to the through-holes. The liquid discharge pipes are equipped with valves or have detachable plugs attached to their open ends to prevent leakage.
[0072] (Fuel filler cap, etc.) Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, in the intermediate section 300 of the exhaust passage 10A, the plate section 330 covering the upstream opening OP1 is equipped with a liquid supply port section 86 that is through and has a detachable closing member such as a lid or cap, and a detection device 87 attached to the through hole that detects when the oil Lq1 is insufficient and the liquid level has dropped. In the upstream section 100, a lighting device 88 is provided in the first joint section 110. The lighting device 88 is provided in a hole in the top surface section 113 of the first joint section 110 and illuminates the inside of the upstream section 100 via the inside of the first joint section 110 and further via the hole 111A in the bottom surface section 111 of the joint. By making the inside of the upstream section 100 brighter, it becomes easier to check the inside of the cylindrical section 120, such as the ejection state of the nozzle 77, through the upstream window section 124 provided on the side of the upstream section 100. The lighting device 88 may also be configured to illuminate the inside of the deep section 312' of the intermediate section 300.
[0073] (Control device) The purification device 1 is equipped with a control device 89 for switching the operating states of the blower 10B, the pump 75, the heating device 81, and the lighting device 88. The control device 89 includes an operating section equipped with buttons and switches to control the power supply to the blower 10B, pump 75, heating device 81, and lighting device 88 according to the operator's operation, and a box equipped with a case to house the control device and a door to cover the opening of the case. The case has its opening facing sideways, with its wide rear side facing the fan support section 50B, and is fixed to the fan support section 50B via a bracket or directly with bolts and nuts.
[0074] Figure 12 is a perspective view showing the operation of the purification device 1. The purification device 1 is located indoors along with other smoke-generating devices 2A and 2B, and is incorporated into an exhaust system that sends air from an inlet located above the other devices 2A and 2B to an outlet located in the outer wall or ceiling, and exhausts it outdoors. Figure 12 mainly shows the configuration of the exhaust section 10 of the purification device 1, and piping for oil Lq1 and fan support section 50B are omitted. The other smoke-generating devices 2A and 2B include a fryer that generates air containing oil and grease, and a heating device that heats steel products coated with oil during hardening, generating oily smoke containing soot.
[0075] In the exhaust system, the first smoke intake hood 91, located on the other devices 2A and 2B, is connected to the first joint 110 of the purification device 1 by an upstream duct 92. Also in the exhaust system, the second smoke discharge hood 93, located on the outdoor side, is connected to the blower 10B of the purification device 1 by a downstream duct 94. In the illustrated example, two other devices 2A and 2B are provided as smoke sources, each equipped with a first smoke intake hood 91, and the air from each smoke source is sent to the purification device 1 via a confluence 92A. Furthermore, downstream of the purification device 1, a joint material 94A is provided, in which the cross-sectional area of the airflow is larger on the downstream side and smaller on the upstream side, meaning the downstream side is wider than the upstream side. The number of other devices 2A and 2B and the confluence 92A are not limited to the illustrated example, nor are the piping configurations of the upstream duct 92 and downstream duct 94 limited to the illustrated example.
[0076] In the purification unit 1, approximately 460 liters of oil Lq1 and approximately 240 liters of water Lq2 are contained in the deep section 312'. The temperature of the oil Lq1 and water Lq2 is maintained at 40°C to 50°C by the heating device 81, and the circulation rate of oil Lq1 by the pump is 20 liters / min. The airflow rate from the blower 10B is 300 m³. 3 The value is / min, and the wind speed at each part of the exhaust passage 10A is 15 m / s at the cylindrical section 120 of the upstream section 100, 5 m / s at the intermediate section 300, 4 m / s at the rectangular cylindrical section 211 of the downstream section 200, and 20 m / s at the second joint section 220.
[0077] When the blower 10B is activated, oil-containing air is drawn into the inlet of the first hood 91 and sent to the purification device 1. The temperature of the air entering the inlet 115 of the purification device 1 is 50°C to 60°C. In the purification device 1, the air passes through the upstream section 100, the intermediate section 300, the downstream section 200, and the blower 10B, where a purification process is performed to reduce the amount of oil in the upstream section 100. As part of the purification process, oil Lq1 is sprayed into the air from a nozzle 77 located inside the first joint section 110 to combine the oil in the air with the oil Lq1 from the nozzle, and further oil Lq1 is sprayed from a nozzle 77 located inside the cylindrical section 120 to combine the oil in the air with the oil Lq1 from the nozzle 77, thereby reducing the amount of oil in the air.
[0078] Oil Lq1 adhering to the joint bottom surface 111 and joint side surface 112 in the first joint section 110 moves into the cylindrical section 120 through the hole 111A in the joint bottom surface 111. Furthermore, oil Lq1 adhering to the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body section 121 moves into the intermediate section 300 via the lower end of the cylindrical section 120 and the hole 331 in the plate section 330 that joins it, and falls into the deep section 312' (liquid reservoir) through the hole 331 in the plate section 330. Oil Lq1 ejected into the upstream section 100, along with the oil that has combined with it, hangs down in a curtain-like or cylindrical manner from the edge of the hole 331 in the plate section 330 towards the deep section 312' below. In this way, in the purification device 1, oil Lq1 ejected into the upstream section 100 returns to the deep section 312' located below the upstream section 100 due to its own weight. The oil Lq1 collected in the small, deep container 312′ is then used again for purification treatment along with the oil contained in the air.
[0079] As the purified treated air flows through the flow path forming section 311 of the intermediate section 300 and the downstream section 200, a portion of the oil remaining in the treated air is removed by the first residual amount reduction section 340 and the second residual amount reduction section 213. In the first residual amount reduction section 340 and the second residual amount reduction section 213, the oil remaining in the air condenses into droplets, and these droplets fall by their own weight from the mesh section 341 and the like into the shallow bottom section 311bt. The oil Lq1 then descends the slope of the shallow bottom section 311bt and moves further into the deep section 312' from the lower edge of the slope, where it combines with the accumulated oil Lq1. In addition, other foreign matter contained in the air and deposits that fall from the inner surface of the upstream section 100 also fall into the oil Lq1 in the deep section 312'. However, if the other foreign matter has a specific gravity greater than water, it moves from the oil Lq1 side into the water Lq2 and accumulates in the deep bottom section 312bt'. Other foreign matter in the oil Lq1 is collected by the strainer 73.
[0080] The treated air, with its residual volume reduced, is sent by the blower 10B from its outlet into the downstream duct 94, towards the second hood 93, and exhausted outdoors from the outlet of the second hood 93.
[0081] According to the purification device 1, while other smoke-generating devices 2A and 2B are operating, the blower 10B continuously takes in air from the other devices 2A and 2B, uses oil Lq1 as the treatment liquid to remove minute oil particles that cannot be removed by water, and releases the treated air outdoors, thereby further reducing the environmental impact around the factory.
[0082] In conventional treatment devices 900, the area below the treatment cylinder 930 and discharge cylinder 940 is configured as a large liquid reservoir 920, and a pump 950 sends a large amount of treatment liquid to the nozzle 951 to create airflow, which can lead to high electricity costs and presents a challenge in reducing the amount of treatment liquid. In contrast, the purification device 1 uses oil Lq1 as the treatment liquid, which is placed only in a small container-shaped deep section 312', meaning that the oil Lq1 circulates in a ring route without being supplied from the outside. Furthermore, the purification device 1 does not have an outlet such as a drain for the oil Lq1 to flow out of the device during the purification process, and the oil Lq1 returns to the deep section 312', so a small amount of oil Lq1 contained in the small container-shaped deep section 312' can be used for purification treatment over a long period of time without supplying oil Lq1.
[0083] In the purification device 1, the heating device 81 can maintain the oil Lq1 at a predetermined temperature. This allows the use of oil Lq1 with the desired viscosity for the purification process and also suppresses the oxidation of the oil Lq1. Furthermore, by installing another heating device 81 and measuring device 82 for water Lq2 in the deep section 312', the heat exchange between oil Lq1 and water Lq2 can be reduced. The temperature display of the measuring device 82, which is installed outside the deep section 312', allows the operator to check the temperature of the oil Lq1 and water Lq2.
[0084] The deep section 312' has liquid level windows 83L and 83H on its side, allowing the amount of oil Lq1 and water Lq2 inside the deep section 312' to be checked. The cylindrical section 120 of the upstream section 100 also has an upstream window 124, allowing the state of oil Lq1 being ejected from the nozzle 77 to be checked. The first joint section 110 of the upstream section 100 is equipped with a lighting device 88, which illuminates the inside of the cylindrical section 120, making it easier to see the ejection state.
[0085] The joint inspection section 116 and cylinder inspection section 125 located in the upstream section 100 can be used to perform cleaning and replacement tasks, such as removing deposits from the internal nozzle 77. Additionally, the intermediate inspection section 350 located in the intermediate section 300 can be used to remove the divided mesh section 341 of the first remaining amount reduction section 340 from the device for cleaning and replacement tasks, such as removing deposits.
[0086] The intermediate section 300 has a reinforcing section 320 on the outside of the flow path forming section 311, and using this reinforcing section 320, the upstream section 100 and the downstream section 200 are placed on the intermediate section 300 and rest on the flow path support section 50A which rests on the work floor G. The load from the upstream section 100 and the downstream section 200 acts mainly on the flow path support section 50A via the reinforcing section 320 on the outside of the container-shaped section 310. In addition, the oil Lq1 and water Lq2 are contained in the container-shaped section 310, biased towards the side where the deep section 312' is provided, but a pair of long horizontal members 40A of the first reinforcing section 321 are provided along the longitudinal direction of the flow path forming section 311 which is provided on the deep section 312', that is, along almost the entire length of the long edge of the opening 311A of the container-shaped section 310, and rest on a pair of mounting sections 512 of the flow path support section 50A. As a result, the container-shaped part 310 containing oil Lq1 and water Lq2 is held in a stable position above the work floor G.
[0087] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 8(b) and 11(b), the strainer 73 and pump 75 are housed together with part of the oil piping in the space below the shallow bottom section 311bt. Compared to the case where the strainer 73 and pump 75 are placed next to the exhaust passage, for example, outside the passage support section 50A, there are no parts that protrude laterally, making the device configuration smaller.
[0088] The present invention is not limited to the above description and illustrated examples; it can be implemented by changing numerical values, dimensional ratios, etc., or by altering the configuration. The upstream section 100 and downstream section 200 that constitute the exhaust passage 10A rise from the intermediate section 300, and the upstream section 100 may be equipped with a nozzle inside, but other duct members may be used for the configuration. For example, the second residual amount reduction section of the downstream section 200 and the first residual amount reduction section of the intermediate section 300 may be omitted, or the first joint section 110 of the upstream section 100 may be replaced with the configuration example shown in Figure 13. In an exhaust system incorporating the purification device 1, in addition to the blower 10B of the purification device 1, other blowers may be provided in the upstream duct 92 and the downstream duct 94. The first reinforcing section 321 and the third reinforcing section 323 may use, for example, two short horizontal members instead of one long horizontal member provided on the first side section 311F and the second side section 311B. In this case, one horizontal member can be used to form part of the second mounting surface, and the other horizontal member can be used to form part of the third mounting surface. Also, instead of a reinforcing component 40 with a U-shaped or L-shaped cross-section, a cylindrical component may be used. In any case, a component with two surfaces facing one direction and the other direction is used. For the installation of the blower 10B, instead of the fan support section 50B rising from the floor or other surface of the installation location, it may be fixed to a structure such as a wall or ceiling. The amount of oil Lq1 to be placed in the deep section 312' is not limited to the upper end of the deep section 312', but can also be increased so that part or all of the shallow section 311bt is covered. In this embodiment, two liquid level windows are provided, but instead, a single liquid level window may be provided that allows for wide-ranging monitoring of the liquid level from the deep section 312bt' to the shallow section 311bt or a position higher than the shallow section 311bt. In this embodiment, oil and water are placed in the deep part of the intermediate section 300, but oil alone may also be used. Furthermore, although oil is used as the treatment liquid for oil-containing air and oil fumes, water or aqueous solutions may be used instead of oil. In addition, the air to be treated is not limited to oil-containing air or oil fumes, but can also be treated for air containing VOCs or other harmful substances, and a treatment liquid appropriate to the target air may be used. In the container-shaped section 310, taking Figure 1 as an example, if we consider the front, back, left, and right sides of the device, the first side surface 311F of the air-blowing side flow path forming section 311 and the first side surface 312F' of the liquid reservoir side deep section 312' form one plane facing the front (first direction) of the device. On the opposite side, the second side surface 311B of the air-blowing side flow path forming section 311 and the second side surface 312B' of the liquid reservoir side deep section 312' form one plane facing the rear (second direction) of the device. On the left side, the third side surface 311L of the air-blowing side flow path forming section 311 and the third side surface 312L' of the liquid reservoir side deep section 312' form one plane facing the left (third direction) of the device. Thus, instead of having one side of the flow path forming section 311 and the deep section 312' flush with each other, the flow path forming section 311 and the deep section 312' may be connected via a stepped section, with one side being offset. Furthermore, the deep section that mainly contains the processing liquid may be of a ball shape instead of a bottomed type with a deep bottom that is flat, sloped, or valley-shaped, and the opening at the upper end may be configured to connect to the flow path forming section 111 via a stepped section. In the embodiment, a method of use in which only the processing liquid placed in the deep section of the intermediate part is circulated was given, but it can also be used in a form in which a portion is discarded while replenishing from another supply source and circulating the rest. For example, the liquid discharge sections 84H and 84L are connected to a drain pipe or the like, and a liquid supply port 86 or other supply port is provided and connected to a supply source via piping to configure the device. The installation location is not limited to factories, nor is it restricted to commercial use such as hospitals and multi-purpose facilities; it can also be installed outdoors, not just indoors.
