Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a pedal device and an electronic keyboard instrument. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, pedal devices equipped with sensors such as rotary volumes that detect the amount of pedal depression have been disclosed. Patent Document 1 discloses a sensor in which the amount of pedal depression is detected by pressing a lever part of the sensor through a transmission part of the pedal when the pedal is depressed. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2011-180511 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] The rotary volume, which is a sensor with a rotating shaft, is arranged so that the axis of the rotating shaft is horizontal, and a lever is attached to the rotating shaft. When the pedal is depressed, the lever is pressed and the rotating shaft rotates. If the mounting position of the rotary volume differs from device to device, the detected value of the pedal depression amount may differ from device to device. This may result in a different pedal operation feel from device to device.

The second restricting portion 142 is connected to the first restricting portion 141 and disposed above the first restricting portion 141, and is provided with an inclined surface inclined toward the base end side. The restricting member 140 reduces the intrusion of a finger or the like through the opening 53a.

[0018] As shown in FIG. 3, a rectangular cushion member 143 is provided on the upper surface of the regulating member 140 behind the second regulating portion 142. The cushion member 143 may be made of, for example, felt. The cushion member 143 abuts against an upper portion of the opening 131 (rib 132) of the front sheet metal member 130, and regulates the upper limit position of the pedal 52 that is urged upward by a coil spring 54 described later. The regulating member 140 is also provided with an arm portion 144 that protrudes toward a sensor unit 160 described later and engages with a cam member 164 of the sensor unit 160 (see also FIG. 4). A cam surface 144a consisting of a bent flat portion is provided on the lower surface of the arm portion 144 (see FIG. 4).

[0019] An upper base member 150 is provided above the lower base member 100 via an upper sheet metal member 120. A spring holding portion 151 is provided on the upper base member 150 in correspondence with the upper base end of each pedal corresponding portion 102 of the lower base member 100. The spring holding portion 151 is provided in a cylindrical shape, and a coil spring 54 is disposed therein. The lower end of the coil spring 54 is supported by the bottom surface of the spring holding portion 151. The upper end of the coil spring 54 is connected to a spring receiving member (not shown) provided on the lower surface of the pedal 52. The pedal 52 is urged upward by the coil spring 54.

[0020] The base end of each spring holding portion 151 of the upper base member 150 is connected to the upper base member main body portion 152. The upper base member main body portion 152 is provided in the shape of a plate that is long in the left-right direction. On the upper surface of the upper base member main body portion 152, a bearing portion 153 that rotatably supports a rotation shaft 55 provided at the base end of each pedal 52 is provided corresponding to each pedal 52. In addition, the upper surface of the upper base member main body portion 152 is formed as a recess 152a that is long in the left-right direction. A substrate 161 is provided in the recess 152a. A sensor unit 160 is provided on the upper surface of the substrate 161. As described later, the sensor unit 160 has a cam portion 164a of a cam member 164 that abuts and engages with a cam surface 144a of an arm portion 144 of the regulating member 140, and the pedal 52 and the rotation shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162 are interlocked.

[0021] As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the sensor unit 160 has a rotary volume 162, an engagement member 163, a cam member 164, a cover member 165, and a torsion coil spring 166. The rotary volume 162 may be a rotary volume using a variable resistor or a rotary volume equipped with a rotary encoder that outputs the rotation angle of a rotary shaft 162b. The rotary volume 162 has three terminals 162a1 protruding from the bottom surface of a substantially rectangular box-shaped main body 162a. The terminals 162a1 are inserted into terminal holes 161a of the substrate 161 and soldered. The rotary volume 162 also has a rotary shaft 162b. The pedal device 50 has a processor (not shown) on the substrate 161 or the like that derives the depression amount of the pedal 52 according to the rotation amount of the rotary shaft 162b. The rotary shaft 162b is provided with a chamfered portion 162b1. The portion of the rotating shaft 162b where the chamfered portion 162b1 is provided is D-shaped in cross section. A substantially cylindrical non-rotating portion 162c is provided around the base end of the rotating shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162. The non-rotating portion 162c is a portion fixed to the main body portion 162a and does not rotate together with the rotating shaft 162b.

[0022] The engagement member 163 is a rectangular block with a semicircular upper side and a substantially flat lower surface, and is provided with a support hole 163a that penetrates in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162. The rotary volume 162 side of the engagement member 163 is provided with a flange 163b (contact portion). A boss 163c that protrudes downward is provided on the lower surface of the engagement member 163. The non-rotating portion 162c of the rotary volume 162 is inserted into the support hole 163a of the engagement member 163 so that the outer peripheral surface of the non-rotating portion 162c slides against the inner peripheral surface of the support hole 163a. The boss 163c of the engagement member 163 is inserted into the hole 161b of the substrate 161 by light press-fitting. The contact surface 163d, which is the flat lower surface, contacts the upper surface of the substrate 161. In this manner, the engagement member 163 engages with the non-rotating portion 162 c of the rotary volume 162 and the substrate 161 .

[0023] The cam member 164 has a substantially cylindrical mounting portion 164b and a cam portion 164a provided so as to protrude radially outward from the mounting portion 164b. The cam portion 164a is provided at a substantially central position in the axial direction of the mounting portion 164b. The tip portion of the cam portion 164a is provided with a convex arc-shaped cam surface 164a1 protruding to the left in the axial direction. The outer periphery of the mounting portion 164b on the side where the cam surface 164a1 protrudes is made into a spring arrangement portion 164b1, in which a torsion coil spring 166 is arranged. A protrusion 164c protruding radially outward is provided at the lower left end of the mounting portion 164b.

[0024] The cam member 164 is attached to the rotary shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162. As shown in Figs. 7 and 8, the attachment portion 164b of the cam member 164 is formed into a D-shaped hole at the axially central portion of the substantially cylindrical interior by the alignment portion 164b2 protruding from the inner circumferential surface of the attachment portion 164b. Therefore, the cam member 164 is attached to the rotary shaft 162b such that the alignment portion 164b2 abuts against the chamfered portion 162b1 of the rotary shaft 162b. In this way, the cam member 164 is fixed to the rotary shaft 162b, with its relative rotation with respect to the rotary shaft 162b restricted.

[0025] 5 and 6, the cover member 165 has a cover body 165a that is open downward, and a frame-shaped portion 165b that extends leftward from the lower end of the cover body 165a. The cover body 165a has a rectangular box-shaped portion 165a1 and an arc-shaped portion 165a2 that are connected to each other. Bolt holes 165c1 and 165c2 are provided on the outer side of the cover body 165a and the outer side of the frame-shaped portion 165b, respectively.

[0026] Cover member 165 is fixed by screws into bolt holes 161c and 161d of substrate 161 via bolt holes 165c1 and 165c2. Here, as shown in Fig. 8, bosses 165d1 and 165d2 are provided on the underside near the inside of bolt holes 165c1 and 165c2. Boss 165d1 is lightly press-fitted into hole 161e, and boss 165d2 is lightly press-fitted radially into slightly elongated hole 161f communicating with bolt hole 161d.

[0027] The cover member 165 covers most of the rotary volume 162 (the main body 162a, the non-rotating portion 162c, and a portion of the base side of the rotating shaft 162b). In other words, the cover main body 165a roughly covers the main body 162a of the rotary volume 162 with the rectangular box-shaped portion 165a1, and covers the engagement member 163 with the arc-shaped portion 165a2.

[0028] Here, a groove-shaped first restricting portion 165d is provided on the upper inner surface of the rectangular box-shaped portion 165a1 at the approximate boundary between the rectangular box-shaped portion 165a1 and the arc-shaped portion 165a2. An upper portion of the flange portion 163b of the engagement member 163 is disposed in the first restricting portion 165d. A left side wall surface (right side in FIG. 8) of the first restricting portion 165d faces the flange portion 163b. The side wall surface of the first restricting portion 165d comes into contact with the flange portion 163b, thereby restricting the engagement member 163 from moving toward the axial tip side of the rotating shaft 162b.

[0029] Additionally, the cam member 164 is disposed to be housed within the frame-shaped portion 165b. The protrusion 164c of the cam member 164 faces a second restricting portion 165e that is the left inner wall surface of the frame-shaped portion 165b of the cover member 165. The second restricting portion 165e comes into contact with an end face of the protrusion 164c, thereby restricting the movement of the cam member 164 toward the axial tip side of the rotating shaft 162b.

[0030] One (upper) leg 166a of the torsion coil spring 166 provided in the spring arrangement portion 164b1 of the cam member 164 is engaged with a spring engagement portion 164d provided in a notch at the portion where the cam surface 164a1 is formed. The other (lower) leg 166b of the torsion coil spring 166 is engaged with a spring engagement portion 165f provided in a notch provided on the front side of the frame-shaped portion 165b of the cover member 165. As shown in FIG. 7, the cam member 164 is biased by the torsion coil spring 166 together with the rotating shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162 in the counterclockwise direction (in other words, upward) when viewed from the tip side of the rotating shaft 162b. Therefore, the cam portion 164a (cam surface 164a1) of the cam member 164 is always in contact with and engaged with the cam surface 144a that is the lower surface of the arm portion 144 of the regulating member 140 that is fixed to the upper surface of the pedal 52. Therefore, the cam member 164 rotates together with the rotating shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162 in response to the depression of the pedal 52, and the amount of depression of the pedal 52 is detected by the rotary volume 162.

[0031] The sensor unit 160 is attached to the substrate 161 by first attaching the engagement member 163 to the rotary volume 162 from the tip side of the rotating shaft 162b to engage the support hole portion 163a with the non-rotating portion 162c. Next, the cam member 164 is attached to the rotating shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162. After that, the cover member 165 is attached to the assembled state of the rotary volume 162, the engagement member 163, and the cam member 164. Then, the torsion coil spring 166 is attached to assemble the sensor unit 160. After that, the assembled sensor unit 160 is attached to the substrate 161.

[0032] In the pedal device 50, the sensor unit 160 is provided corresponding to each pedal 52. For example, the sensor unit 160 may be provided corresponding to only the right pedal 52a in order to provide a damper effect as in an actual piano, but by providing the sensor unit 160 also to the left pedal 52b and the center pedal 52c, it is possible to realize not only an ON / OFF state depending on whether the pedal 52 is depressed or not, but also a function that is not available in an actual piano (a function that exerts an effect according to the amount of depression of the pedal 52).

[0033] As described above, in the embodiment of the present invention, the pedal device 50 includes a rotatably supported pedal 52, a rotary volume 162 provided on a base plate 161 and equipped with a rotating shaft 162b that can rotate in conjunction with the pedal 52, and an engagement member 163 that engages with a non-rotating portion 162c around the rotating shaft 162b in the rotary volume 162 and the base plate 161.

[0034] As a result, the rotary volume 162 is supported by the engagement member 163 fixed to the substrate, so that the rotation shaft 162b of the rotary volume 162 can be reliably positioned. In particular, the inclination of the rotation shaft 162b is regulated by the engagement member 163. Therefore, the attachment position of the rotation shaft 162b for each device of the pedal device 50 becomes approximately uniform, so that the operational feel of the pedal 52 for each device can also be made uniform.

[0035] The pedal device 50 also includes a processor that derives the amount of depression of the pedal 52 according to the amount of rotation of the rotary shaft 162b. This makes it possible to impart an effect such as a damper according to the amount of depression of the pedal 52.

[0036] Furthermore, the engaging member 163 has a boss 163c that can be inserted into the substrate 161. This makes it possible to fix the engaging member 163 to the substrate 161 with a simple structure.

[0037] Moreover, the engaging member 163 has an abutment surface 163d that abuts against the substrate 161. This ensures that the engaging member 163 and the non-rotating portion 162c are engaged with each other, and allows the rotation shaft 162b to be positioned.

[0038] Furthermore, the engaging member 163 has a support hole 163a that penetrates in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 162b, and the non-rotating part 162c is inserted into the support hole 163a. This allows the outer periphery of the cylindrical non-rotating part 162c to be reliably supported by the engaging member 163, so that the rotating shaft 162b can be positioned with greater accuracy.

[0039] The cover member 165 is provided on the substrate 161 and includes a first restricting portion 165d that restricts movement of the engaging member 163 by abutting against a contact portion that is the flange portion 163b of the engaging member 163, and covers the rotary volume 162. This reduces the movement of the engaging member 163 toward the tip end of the rotating shaft 162b even if the pedal device 50 receives an impact, so that the positioning of the rotating shaft 162b is more stable and continuous.

[0040] Further, the rotating shaft 162b is provided with a cam member 164 having a cam portion 164a that engages with the arm portion 144 of the pedal 52, and the cover member 165 has a second restricting portion 165e that restricts movement of the cam member 164. As a result, even if the pedal device 50 receives an impact, the cam member 164 that rotates the rotating shaft 162b in response to depression of the pedal 52 is reduced from moving toward the tip side of the rotating shaft 162b.

[0041] Moreover, the pedal device 50 has a torsion coil spring 166, one leg 166a of which is engaged with the cam member 164 and the other leg 166b of which is engaged with the cover member 165. This allows the cam portion 164a (cam surface 164a1) of the cam member 164 to reliably come into contact with the cam surface 144a of the arm portion 144, so that the amount of depression of the pedal 52 can be detected with high accuracy.

[0042] The electronic keyboard instrument 10 also has a pedal device 50. This makes it possible to provide an electronic keyboard instrument 10 that provides a uniform operational feel for the pedal 52 for each instrument. Although the pedal device 50 is provided in the electronic keyboard instrument 10 in this embodiment, it may also be provided in other instruments or electronic instruments.

[0043] Although some embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These novel embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention.
