AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing concrete slurry processing devices require large installation areas and are difficult to install in narrow sites like ready-mixed concrete factories, and they impose a significant load on conveyor chains.

Method used

A compact water tank design with a diagonally upward sloped front edge and a gently sloped bottom surface, combined with a conveyor chain system that operates at low speed to scrape solids onto an inclined surface, reduces the installation space requirement and conveyor chain load while maintaining separation performance.

Benefits of technology

The solution allows for efficient solid-water separation in a smaller footprint, reducing the load on the conveyor chain and enabling smooth operation, even in spaces with limited installation area, while improving separation performance and reducing power consumption.

Abstract

To provide a concrete slurry treatment device allowing solid material to be precipitated enough even in a relatively small water tank through improvement of separation performance between the solid material and water and installation of such a device in a ready-mixed concrete factory in a small site, and also reducing load of conveyor chains.SOLUTION: A concrete slurry treatment device comprises: a slope surface part 6 continuously connected obliquely upward from a bottom surface part 5 of a water tank 1; conveyor chains 51a to 51d stretched over from the bottom surface part to the slope surface part to solid material 71 precipitated on the bottom surface part of the water tank to be raked up on the slope surface part by moving the conveyor chains in a slow speed; and a cutwater gate 61 arranged on one side of the water tank to drain water content in concrete slurry, wherein the bottom surface part of the water tank is formed in a gentle slope shape gently inclining downward to the gentle slope and the conveyor chains is made be moved downward along the bottom surface part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
