Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a rubber composition, a laminate, and a hose. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, as a hose for transporting refrigerant (e.g., an air conditioner hose), there has been known a hose having an innermost layer which is a resin layer containing a polyamide or the like having low gas permeability, a rubber layer formed on the innermost layer from a rubber composition containing a butyl-based rubber and a resin crosslinking agent (e.g., a phenol-based resin), a reinforcing layer formed from synthetic resin fibers or the like on the rubber layer, and an outer tube on the reinforcing layer (e.g., Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2002-79614 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Hoses for transporting refrigerants require high refrigerant permeability resistance in the innermost layer to prevent leakage of the internal fluid (e.g., fluorocarbon gas). They are also required to have excellent resistance to compression set in the rubber layer and excellent adhesion between the resin layer, which is the innermost layer, and the rubber layer above the innermost layer. Furthermore, in order for a hose for transporting a refrigerant to withstand high pressure, the reinforcing layer is required to have high strength. In this situation, the present inventors prepared and evaluated a rubber composition with reference to Patent Document 1, and found that such a rubber composition may have poor at least one of the following: compression set resistance of the resulting rubber layer, adhesion between the resin layer and the rubber layer, and strength retention of the reinforcing layer adjacent to the rubber layer. The inventors considered that the decrease in strength of the reinforcing layer adjacent to the rubber layer was due to the fact that when the rubber layer is formed from a rubber composition containing a butyl rubber, a fatty acid (e.g., stearic acid) as a processing aid, and a resin crosslinking agent, and the reinforcing layer is formed from synthetic resin fibers, the fatty acid (e.g., stearic acid) and the resin crosslinking agent deteriorate the synthetic resin fibers. It is believed that the deterioration of the synthetic resin fibers as described above shortens the life of the hose product.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition which provides a rubber layer excellent in compression set resistance, adhesion between a resin layer and a rubber layer, and strength retention of a reinforcing layer adjacent to the rubber layer. Another object of the present invention is to provide a laminate and a hose. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] As a result of intensive research to solve the above problems, the present inventors have found that by reducing the amount of fatty acid or phenolic resin, which is a resin crosslinking agent, in the rubber composition, deterioration of the fiber layer (fiber reinforcement layer) can be suppressed even if the rubber composition contains fatty acid and a resin crosslinking agent. Furthermore, they have found that the desired effect can be obtained by making the rubber composition contain 1 to 15 parts by mass of a phenolic resin and 0.05 parts by mass or more and less than 1 part by mass of a fatty acid per 100 parts by mass of rubber component containing 30 to 100 parts by mass of a brominated copolymer rubber of isomonoolefin and p-alkylstyrene, 0 to 70 parts by mass of a halogenated butyl rubber, and 0 to 70 parts by mass of butyl rubber, and have arrived at the present invention. The present invention is based on the above findings and has the following specific configuration to solve the above problems.
[0007] [1] A rubber composition comprising 100 parts by mass of a rubber component including 30 to 100 parts by mass of a brominated copolymer rubber of isomonoolefin and p-alkylstyrene, 0 to 70 parts by mass of a halogenated butyl rubber, and 0 to 70 parts by mass of a butyl rubber, and further comprising 1 to 15 parts by mass of a phenolic resin and 0.05 part by mass or more but less than 1 part by mass of a fatty acid. [2] The rubber composition according to [1], wherein the content of the brominated compound is 50 to 100 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. [3] The rubber composition according to [1] or [2], wherein the content of the phenol-based resin per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is 1 to 5 parts by mass. [4] The rubber composition according to any one of [1] to [3], wherein the content of the fatty acid per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is 0.1 part by mass or more and less than 1 part by mass. [5] A rubber sheet having a resin layer, a rubber layer, and a fiber layer, the resin layer is a layer containing a modified polyamide of a polyamide and a carboxyl group-containing modified polyolefin, The rubber layer is a layer formed from a cured product of the rubber composition according to any one of [1] to [4], The laminate, wherein the fiber layer is a layer of polyethylene terephthalate fiber. [6] The innermost layer is a resin layer, a rubber layer 1, a fiber reinforcement layer, and a rubber layer 2, the resin layer is a layer containing a modified polyamide of a polyamide and a carboxyl group-containing modified polyolefin, The rubber layer 1 is a layer formed from a cured product of the rubber composition according to any one of [1] to [4], The hose, wherein the fiber reinforcement layer is a layer of polyethylene terephthalate fiber. Effect of the Invention
[0008] According to the present invention, a rubber composition can be provided which provides a rubber layer with excellent compression set resistance, excellent adhesion between a resin layer and a rubber layer, and excellent strength retention of a reinforcing layer adjacent to the rubber layer. The present invention can provide a laminate and a hose. [Brief description of the drawings]
[0009] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a hose of the present invention with each layer cut away. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

When a component contains two or more substances, the content of the component means the total content of the two or more substances. In this specification, the "brominated copolymer rubber of isomonoolefin and p-alkylstyrene" is also referred to as the "specific bromide." In this specification, the term "the effects of the present invention are superior" may mean that at least one of the compression set resistance of the obtained rubber layer, the adhesion between the resin layer and the rubber layer, and the strength retention of the reinforcing layer adjacent to the rubber layer is superior.
[0011] [Rubber composition] The rubber composition of the present invention comprises: The rubber composition contains 100 parts by mass of a rubber component including 30 to 100 parts by mass of a brominated copolymer rubber of isomonoolefin and p-alkylstyrene (specific brominated product), 0 to 70 parts by mass of a halogenated butyl rubber, and 0 to 70 parts by mass of a butyl rubber, and further contains 1 to 15 parts by mass of a phenolic resin and 0.05 part by mass or more but less than 1 part by mass of a fatty acid.

[0062] <Compression set resistance of rubber layer> Each of the obtained rubber compositions was press-vulcanized for 45 minutes under conditions of 153°C and a surface pressure of 3.5 MPa using a press molding machine having a mold with a diameter of 29.05 mm and a thickness of 12.5 mm to prepare disc-shaped test specimens (the diameter of the disc-shaped test specimens was 29.0±0.5 mm and the thickness was 12.5±0.5 mm). Using the above test pieces, a compression set test was performed according to JIS K6262:2013 under the conditions of a test temperature of 70°C, a test time of 22 hours, and a compression ratio of 25%, to measure the compression set (%). The results of the compression set are shown in each table as an index, with the result of Example 9 being 1.0.
[0063] · Evaluation criteria for compression set In the present invention, when the compression set (index) is 2.5 or less, the compression set resistance of the obtained rubber layer is evaluated as excellent and is indicated by "◯". Excellent compression set resistance of the rubber layer means excellent sealing properties of the laminate or hose. The smaller the compression set (index) is from 2.5, the better the compression set resistance of the rubber layer is. On the other hand, when the compression set (index) exceeded 2.5, the compression set resistance of the resulting rubber layer was evaluated as poor and was indicated by "X".
[0064] <Adhesion between resin layer and rubber layer> Sample preparation Each of the rubber compositions obtained as described above was cut into two unvulcanized rubber sheets having a thickness of 2 mm. Next, a modified polyamide (an alloy blended with polyamide 6 and a carboxyl group-containing modified polyolefin, formed into a 0.2 mm thick sheet) was sandwiched between two of the above unvulcanized rubber sheets to form a three-layer laminate, which was then press-vulcanized for 45 minutes at 153°C and a press pressure of 2 MPa to produce a rectangular sample 25 mm wide and 150 mm long. Peel force measurement Using a Strograph E3-L (Toyo Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd.), one vulcanized rubber layer and the remaining two layers were each gripped at one end (one end with a width of 25 mm) of the sample obtained as described above, and pulled up and down at a peeling speed of 50 mm / min to measure the peeling force. The obtained peeling force was divided by 25 to calculate the average peeling force (unit: N / mm), which is shown in the "Peel Force (average)" column in each table. Peel strength evaluation criteria In the present invention, when the peel strength obtained as described above exceeds 1.0 N / mm, the adhesion between the resin layer and the rubber layer is evaluated as excellent and is indicated by "◯." The greater the peel strength is 1.0 N / mm, the better the adhesion between the resin layer and the rubber layer. On the other hand, when the peel strength was 1.0 N / mm or less, the adhesion between the resin layer and the rubber layer was evaluated as poor and this was indicated by "X".
[0065] <Maintenance of strength between the rubber layer and the adjacent reinforcing layer> Sample preparation An unvulcanized sheet having a thickness of 2.5 mm prepared from each rubber composition obtained as described above was wound around an iron mandrel having an outer diameter of 35 mm, and then a twisted yarn of polyethylene terephthalate fiber (not RFL-treated) was wound in a spiral shape to form a fiber-reinforced layer. Next, the same unvulcanized sheet as the unvulcanized sheet described above was attached again onto the fiber-reinforced layer to prepare an unvulcanized hose-shaped test piece. Next, a nylon 66 curing tape (protective cloth) was wrapped around the outside of the unvulcanized hose-shaped test piece prepared as above, and oven vulcanization was performed for 100 minutes under the condition of 160°C. After vulcanization, the curing tape was removed to obtain a vulcanized hose-shaped test piece. The vulcanized hose-shaped test piece had a three-layer structure consisting of, from the inner layer, a rubber layer, a fiber reinforcement layer, and a rubber layer. At the longitudinal center portion of the vulcanized hose-shaped test piece obtained as described above, the surface rubber layer was cut out and peeled off along the circumference of the hose to expose the fiber reinforcement layer. -Measurement of the strength of the reinforcing layer Fibers were removed from the sample, which was the hose-shaped test piece after vulcanization with the fiber reinforcement layer exposed as described above, and the fiber removed from the sample was pulled using an Autograph ASG-X (Shimadzu Corporation) at a pulling speed of 300 mm / min to measure the strength of the fiber of the hose-shaped test piece after vulcanization. On the other hand, the strength of the fiber before vulcanization was measured by pulling the twisted yarn of the above polyethylene terephthalate fiber as it was at a pulling speed of 300 mm / min using an Autograph ASG-X (Shimadzu Corporation). The strength obtained as described above was applied to the following formula to determine the reduction rate of the fiber strength. Fiber strength reduction rate (%) = (BA) / A x 100 A: Strength of fiber before vulcanization B: Strength of the fibers of the hose-shaped test specimen after vulcanization Evaluation criteria for fiber strength loss rate In the present invention, when the reduction rate obtained as described above is greater than -80% (reduction rate > -80%), the strength retention of the reinforcing layer adjacent to the rubber layer is evaluated as excellent, and this is indicated as "◯". The greater the reduction rate is greater than -80%, the better the retention. On the other hand, when the rate of decrease was −80% or less, the maintenance was evaluated as being poor and was indicated by “×”.
