Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a taping tape that is applied to the skin and is expected to have the effects of promoting blood and body fluid circulation, relieving pain, and improving natural healing powers. [Background technology]
[0002] Taping tape is generally a tape composed of a sheet-like substrate having an adhesive layer on one side, and is generally used to fix joints, muscles, etc. in order to prevent injuries to athletes and the like and to prevent the symptoms of injured areas from worsening.
[0003] In addition, taping tapes have been developed for purposes other than fixing the affected area, such as a massage effect. For example, JP 2019-13739 A proposes a taping sheet in which a row of large through holes with a large inner diameter that penetrates the base material and the adhesive layer and a row of small through holes with a small inner diameter that are arranged alternately in parallel (Patent Document 1). According to Patent Document 1, by applying the taping sheet to a part of concern such as stiff shoulders, lower back pain, or knee pain, the adhesive part and the large and small through holes that are not adhesive are deformed by the movement of the human body, and fit as if gripping the skin, so that a massage effect and a skin stimulating effect can be obtained.
[0004] Stiff shoulders is an unpleasant condition caused by stiff muscles in the shoulders and neck. One of the causes is poor circulation, which causes waste products to accumulate when blood flow along the muscles is stagnant, putting pressure on blood vessels and causing pain and muscle tension.
[0005] In addition, poor circulation is also considered to be one of the causes of chronic dull pain in areas other than the shoulder, just like stiff shoulders. In particular, many pain sensory nerves are concentrated in the fascia that surrounds the muscles and the periosteum around the bones, and when the fascia is compressed due to poor circulation, severe pain occurs.
[0006] Traditionally, to treat stiff shoulders or chronic pain, the affected area has been directly massaged to improve blood circulation and relieve pain and muscle tension. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0007] [Patent Document 1] JP 2019-13739 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0008] However, the invention described in Patent Document 1 has a problem in that the massage effect cannot be obtained unless it is applied to moving parts such as shoulders and knees. Even if it is applied to moving parts, the effect cannot be obtained unless the patient moves, and the effect is limited when the patient is in the same position such as when doing desk work.
[0009] In addition, although massage is effective in temporarily relieving pain, it does not aim to cure poor circulation, and the effect fades over time.
[0010] The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and aims to provide a taping tape that applies tension to the skin at the area where the taping is applied, pulling it toward the center, thereby promoting the circulation of blood and body fluids in the fascia and periosteum underneath the skin, and can be expected to have the effect of relieving pain and improving the body's natural healing ability. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] The taping tape of the present invention is a taping tape having an elastic sheet-like base material and an adhesive layer formed on one side of the base material, in order to solve the problem of pulling the skin where the taping is applied toward the center, and a pulling portion is formed at approximately the center of the base material to pull the surrounding base material toward the center by utilizing the elasticity of the base material.
[0012] In addition, as one aspect of the present invention, in order to solve the problem of pinching up and pulling the surrounding base material toward the center, the pulling portion may be configured as a pinch-shaped pulling portion by folding the base material in a mountain shape so that the adhesive layer is on the underside.
[0013] Furthermore, as one aspect of the present invention, in order to solve the problem of pulling surrounding substrates toward the center using a highly elastic substrate, the pulling portion may be configured as a highly elastic pulling portion formed from a substrate whose elasticity is greater than the elasticity of the surrounding substrates.
[0014] In addition, as one aspect of the present invention, in order to solve the problem of promoting circulation of blood and bodily fluids in relatively large areas such as the knees, hip joints, and waist, the base material may have a plurality of slits formed from the end toward approximately the center, forming a plurality of band-shaped skin attachment portions. Effect of the Invention
[0015] According to the present invention, by applying tension to the skin at the area where the taping is applied, pulling it toward the center, it is possible to promote the circulation of blood and body fluids in the fascia and periosteum underneath the skin, thereby providing the expected effects of relieving pain and improving the body's natural healing ability. [0017] Hereinafter, a first embodiment of a taping tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0018] The taping tape 1 of the first embodiment is a tape to be applied to skin 10, and as shown in Fig. 1, is composed of a stretchable sheet-like base material 2, an adhesive layer 3 formed on one side of the base material 2, and a release paper (separator) 4 that protects the adhesive layer 3. Each component will be described in detail below.
[0019] The base material 2 is made of a sheet-like material having elasticity, and in this first embodiment, it is formed in a strip shape that is long in the left-right direction as shown in Figures 1 and 2. The base material 2 in this first embodiment is made of a cloth material that uses double-structure yarn for the warp and has elasticity due to polyurethane in the center.
[0020] The stretchability of the base material 2 can be adjusted as desired by the knitting method, knitting density, and material selected. It may be made of knit fabric, plain stitch fabric, or milling fabric, and may be made of cotton, polyester, or the like.
[0021] The adhesive layer 3 is for attaching the substrate 2 to the skin 10, and is formed on one side of the substrate 2. The components of the adhesive layer 3 are appropriately selected from rubber-based adhesives, acrylic-based adhesives, and silicone-based adhesives, and preferably are components that are resistant to moisture and cause little irritation (such as rashes).
[0022] The release paper 4 is also called a separator or release film, and is a paper or film material that protects the adhesive layer 3 from deterioration of adhesive performance due to drying or the like, and prevents the adhesive layer 3 from adhering to unintended places. The release paper 4 in the first embodiment is made of a paper material laminated with polyethylene.
[0023] Moreover, the base material 2 in this first embodiment has a pulling portion 21 formed at approximately the center position, and a skin attachment portion 22 formed around this pulling portion 21 (on both the left and right sides in this first embodiment), as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
[0024] The pulling portion 21 is a portion for pulling the surrounding base material 2 toward the center, and in this first embodiment, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, it is configured as a knob-shaped pulling portion 21A formed by folding the base material in a mountain shape so that the adhesive layer 3 is on the lower side.
[0025] In other words, the side of the pinch-shaped pulling portion 21A on which the adhesive layer 3 is not formed protrudes upward, and as described below, the user pinches the left and right skin attachment portions 22 toward the center by pinching them with their fingers, and the adhesive layers 3 on the undersides of the pinch-shaped pulling portion 21A are overlapped and adhered together, thereby maintaining each skin attachment portion 22 in a state of being pulled toward the center.
[0026] The skin attachment part 22 is a part for directly attaching to the skin 10 of the user, and in this first embodiment, is formed around the knob-shaped pulling part 21A. The outer diameter of the end of the skin attachment part 22 is formed into a convex curved shape to avoid corners, and is formed so that it is difficult to peel off when attached to the skin 10.
[0027] Next, the function of each component of the taping tape 1 of the first embodiment will be described together with the method of use.
[0028] After peeling off the release paper 4 from the adhesive layer 3, the taping tape 1 is applied to the skin 10 with the left and right skin attachment parts 22 spaced apart at a predetermined distance, as shown in Fig. 3. The taping tape 1 of the first embodiment is configured with the pulling part 21 formed as a knob-shaped pulling part 21A in a mountain fold, and the left and right skin attachment parts 22 are attached so as to maintain this mountain fold shape, allowing them to be attached at a predetermined distance. At this time, a gap is formed between the knob-shaped pulling part 21A and the skin 10.
[0029] The taping tape 1 may be applied at any position, but it is preferable to apply it so that the pulling portion 21 is positioned at a place where blood or bodily fluids have accumulated and hardened.
[0030] 4, the left and right skin attachment parts 22 are pulled toward the center by pinching up the pinch-shaped pulling parts 21A. As a result, the skin 10 below the pinch-shaped pulling parts 21A is pulled toward the center and rises, pulling the fascia and periosteum below the skin 10.
[0031] The pinched up knob-shaped pulling portion 21A adheres the left and right adhesive layers 3 on the underside to each other as shown in Fig. 5. This allows the knob-shaped pulling portion 21A to keep the left and right skin attachment portions 22 pulled toward the center. The excess portion of the knob-shaped pulling portion 21A kept pulled toward the center may be cut off as shown in Fig. 6.
[0032] Under the skin pulled toward the center by the knob-shaped pulling part 21A, gaps (spaces) are created between the muscle and fascia and between the bone and periosteum through which blood and bodily fluids can flow. This is expected to promote the circulation of blood and bodily fluids that have accumulated in the gaps, improving the body's natural healing ability. In addition, a space is created between the nerves that were compressed by the accumulated blood, etc., and this also disperses the pain-sensing nerves, which is expected to alleviate pain.
[0033] In other words, the taping tape 1 of this first embodiment does not pull muscles in one direction or fix them by preventing them from stretching, but rather exerts a centripetal force from the periphery toward the center, pulling the fascia and periosteum, thereby creating gaps between the muscle and fascia and between the bone and periosteum through which blood and body fluids can flow.
[0034] According to the taping tape 1 of the first embodiment described above, the following effects can be achieved. 1. The pinch-shaped pulling portion 21A can pull the skin attachment portion 22 attached to the surrounding skin 10 toward the center and maintain that state. 2. The skin 10 on the underside of the pinch-shaped pulling portion 21A is pulled toward the center and rises up, creating gaps through which blood and body fluids can flow between the muscle and fascia under the skin 10 and between the bone and periosteum. 3. The gaps created between muscles and fascia, and between bones and periosteum, promote the circulation of blood and body fluids, improving the body's natural healing ability, and are expected to relieve pain by dispersing pain nerves that have been compressed by accumulated blood, etc. 4. Taping tape 1 can promote circulation of blood and bodily fluids in the area simply by applying it, so the location where it is applied is not limited to working areas, and it can be applied to any location. 5. Taping Tape 1 remains effective as long as it is applied, so it can be expected to provide sustained relief from chronic pain and stiffness.
[0035] Next, a second embodiment of the taping tape according to the present invention will be described. Note that, among the components of the second embodiment, components equivalent to or corresponding to those of the first embodiment described above are given the same reference numerals and will not be described again.
[0036] The taping tape 1 of the second embodiment is configured such that the knob-shaped pulling portion 21A of the first embodiment is configured as a highly elastic pulling portion 21B. That is, the pulling portion 21 (highly elastic pulling portion 21B) provided at the approximate center position is formed of a base material 2 having a greater elasticity than the surrounding base material 2, and this difference in elasticity pulls the surrounding base material 2 toward the center.
[0037] The highly elastic pull-in part 21B in the second embodiment is formed at the approximate center of the base material 2, as shown in Fig. 7. The highly elastic pull-in part 21B has a stretchability that allows it to pull the surrounding skin attachment part 22 toward the center when attached to the skin 10, and has a greater stretchability than the skin attachment part 22. The difference in stretchability is created by appropriately changing the knitting method, knitting density, and material selection of the highly elastic pull-in part 21B and the skin attachment part 22.
[0038] Although the adhesive layer 3 is formed on the lower surface side of the highly elastic pull-in portion 21B, it is not necessary to form the adhesive layer 3 in this location.
[0039] Next, the function and usage of each component of the taping tape 1 of the second embodiment will be described.
[0040] As shown in FIG. 8, the taping tape 1 of the second embodiment is stretched by pushing down (or pinching up) the highly elastic pulling portion 21B, and the left and right skin attachment portions 22 are attached with a predetermined distance between them.
[0041] As shown in Fig. 9, the highly elastic pulling part 21B in the second embodiment has greater elasticity than the left and right skin attachment parts 22, and therefore pulls each skin attachment part 22 toward the center. The skin 10 on the lower surface side of the highly elastic pulling part 21B that is pulled rises and pulls the fascia and periosteum, as in the first embodiment. This creates gaps between the muscle and the fascia and between the bone and the periosteum through which blood and body fluids can flow, promoting the circulation of blood and body fluids and improving natural healing power and relieving pain, and providing the same effects as the first embodiment.
[0042] Next, a third embodiment of the taping tape according to the present invention will be described. Among the components of the third embodiment, components equivalent to or corresponding to the components of the first and second embodiments described above are given the same reference numerals, and repeated description will be omitted.
[0043] In the taping tape 1 of the third embodiment, the skin attachment portion 22 around the pulling portion 21 is configured as a plurality of strip-shaped skin attachment portions 22a. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 10, each of the left and right skin attachment portions 22 has two slits 23 extending from the end toward the approximate center, thereby forming three strip-shaped skin attachment portions 22a on each side.
[0044] In the third embodiment, the number of slits 23 and the number of strip-shaped skin attachment parts 22a are not particularly limited and may be appropriately selected. In addition, the pulling part 21 in the third embodiment is configured with a knob-shaped pulling part 21A in which the base material is folded in a mountain shape, as in the first embodiment, but is not limited thereto and may be configured with a highly elastic pulling part 21B, as in the second embodiment.
[0045] Next, the function of each component of the taping tape 1 of the third embodiment and the method of use will be described.
[0046] The taping tape 1 of the third embodiment is applied to any desired location with a predetermined distance between the left and right skin attachment parts 22. At this time, since each strip-shaped skin attachment part 22a is divided by a slit 23 as shown in Fig. 11, the taping tape 1 can be applied radially from approximately the center to the outside.
[0047] Next, as in the first embodiment, the knob-shaped pulling portion 21A is pulled toward the center to pull the skin attachment portion 22. In this third embodiment, since the band-shaped skin attachment portions 22a are radially attached, the fascia and periosteum can be pulled toward the approximate center not only in the left-right direction but also in the radial direction.
[0048] Therefore, the taping tape 1 of the third embodiment can achieve the same effect as the first embodiment, and can also pull a wide range of fascia and periosteum from the radial direction toward the approximate center, so that it can be used in areas with relatively large areas such as the knees, hip joints, and lower back.
[0049] The taping tape according to the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments and can be modified as appropriate. For example, the skin attachment parts 22 in the above-mentioned embodiments are disposed on the left and right of the pulling part 21, but may be disposed so as to surround the pulling part 21.
