Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a motion induction device and a motion induction method. [Background technology]

[0002] Due to their convenience, exercises that can be done at home have continued to attract attention even after the COVID-19 pandemic. It is known that exercising at home can easily lead to self-taught training, which greatly reduces the effectiveness of the training. For this reason, training must be carried out under the supervision of a trainer to ensure that the movements are correct and that the exercise is not excessive in terms of injury prevention. In addition, although coaching videos by trainers are distributed on video sites, there are limitations to training while checking the videos, and many people lose motivation and give up.

[0003] Therefore, there is a demand for a device that can receive feedback and correct the user's movements at the same time.

[0004] In order to solve the above problems, a technique has been proposed as described in Non-Patent Document 1. The invention described in Non-Patent Document 1 measures the orientation using a camera. [Prior art documents] [Non-patent literature]

[0018] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the motion induction device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the following description, when directions such as up, down, left and right are indicated, they refer to up, down, left and right when viewed from the front of the figure.

[0019] <Outline of the motion induction device> The exercise induction device according to the present embodiment can improve interest in exercise. To explain this in detail, the Proteus effect is known as a psychological effect in which the appearance of an avatar (a character that is an alter-ego of the user) in a virtual space in a metaverse or a VR (Virtual Reality) space affects the behavioral characteristics of the user. It is known that when an avatar is exercising due to the Proteus effect, if the user in the real world also exercises due to the influence of the avatar, the user can exercise with a higher level of ability than the user himself / herself.

[0020] Therefore, the inventors came up with the idea of increasing interest in exercise by making the Proteus effect occur in the real world, i.e., in the user's physical space, and invented the motion induction device 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2. The contents of the motion induction device 1 will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. Note that in this embodiment, an example will be described in which the motion induction device 1 is attached to a boxing glove B as shown in Figures 1 and 2.

[0021] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the motion induction device 1 is composed of a mounting fixture 2, a motion analysis device 3, an LED tape 4, a speaker 5, and a vibrator 6. Each component will be described in detail below. In this specification, the LED tape 4, the speaker 5, and the vibrator 6 correspond to the performance unit in the present invention.

[0022] <Description of mounting fixture> The attachment 2 is attached to the boxing glove B as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. Specifically, it is provided with a belt-shaped first attachment 20 attached by a hook-and-loop fastener (see Fig. 2) so as to cover the front surface Bb to the back surface Bc side of the boxing glove B on the lower Ba side of the boxing glove B. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 1, the attachment 2 further includes a belt-shaped second attachment 21 having a base end 21a integrally provided with the first attachment 20 and extending in the illustrated up-down direction of the front surface Bb of the boxing glove B in a direction perpendicular to the first attachment 20. Note that, as shown in Fig. 1, the tip end 21b of the second attachment 21 is attached and fixed to the upper Bd side of the boxing glove B.

[0023] On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 1, a belt-shaped third attachment tool 22 is attached by a hook-and-loop fastener so as to cover the tip portion 21b of the second attachment tool 21 and to cover the front surface Bb to the back surface Bc side of the boxing glove B on the upper Bd side of the boxing glove B (see FIG. 2).

[0024] Thus, the first attachment 20 of the attachment 2 configured in this manner is provided with a motion analysis device 3 and a speaker 5 as shown in Fig. 1. As shown in Fig. 1, an elongated strip-shaped LED tape 4 extending along the longitudinal direction (vertical direction in the figure) of the second attachment 21 is provided on the upper surface 21c of the second attachment 21. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 1, an elongated strip-shaped LED tape 4 extending along the longitudinal direction (horizontal direction in the figure) of the third attachment 22 is provided on the upper surface 22a of the third attachment 22. Also, as shown in Fig. 2, a vibrator 6 is provided inside the third attachment 22 located on the back surface Bc side of the boxing glove B.

[0025] <Explanation of the motion analysis device> As shown in Figure 3, the motion analysis device 3 is composed of an acceleration sensor 30 that detects acceleration when a user wears boxing gloves B (see Figures 1 and 2) and exercises (moves), a gyro sensor 31 that detects angular acceleration when a user wears boxing gloves B and exercises (moves), a magnetic sensor 32 that detects the earth's magnetic field when a user wears boxing gloves B and exercises (moves), a processing unit 33, a transmission unit 34 that transmits predetermined data outside the motion analysis device 3, and a power supply unit 35 that supplies power to the processing unit 33.

[0026] As shown in Fig. 3, the processing unit 33 is composed of a CPU 33a that executes and controls each function of the processing unit 33, an input / output unit 33b that can input predetermined data into the processing unit 33 or output predetermined data to the outside of the processing unit 33, a ROM 33c consisting of a writable flash ROM or the like that stores predetermined programs, and a RAM 33d that functions as a working area, buffer memory, or the like. Note that the predetermined data output from the input / output unit 33b is output to the LED tape 4, the speaker 5, and the vibrator 6, as shown in Fig. 3. In addition, the functions and processing of the processing unit 33 described later are realized by the CPU 33a reading out a program stored in the ROM 33c and executing this program.

[0027] <Explanation of the functional configuration of the processing unit> Next, the functional configuration of the processing unit 33 will be described with reference to Fig. 4. As shown in Fig. 4, the functional configuration of the processing unit 33 includes a determination unit 330, a storage unit 331, a sensor data acquisition unit 332, a posture angle calculation unit 333, an action content determination unit 334, and a performance content determination unit 335. Each component will be described below.

[0028] The determination unit 330 exchanges information between the functional blocks based on the state held by the determination unit 330 or the state held by each functional block. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4, the determination unit 330 can receive detection data from the acceleration sensor 30, the gyro sensor 31, and the magnetic sensor 32, and can exchange data with the transmission unit 34. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4, the determination unit 330 can output predetermined data to the LED tape 4, the speaker 5, and the vibrator 6.

[0029] The storage unit 331 stores data necessary for processing.

[0030] The sensor data acquisition unit 332 acquires the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor 30 when the user puts on the boxing gloves B and exercises (moves), further acquires the angular acceleration detected by the gyro sensor 31 when the user puts on the boxing gloves B and exercises (moves), and further acquires the geomagnetic field detected by the magnetic sensor 32 when the user puts on the boxing gloves B and exercises (moves).

[0031] The posture angle calculation unit 333 calculates a posture angle when a user puts on the boxing gloves B and exercises (moves), based on the angular acceleration and geomagnetism acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332.

[0032] The movement content discrimination unit 334 discriminates the movement content when the user puts on the boxing glove B and exercises (moves) based on the posture angle calculated by the posture angle calculation unit 333, the acceleration acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332, and the angular acceleration.

[0033] The performance content determination unit 335 determines the level of the exercise (movement) performed by the user wearing the boxing gloves B based on the acceleration acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332, and determines the performance content. Specifically, it determines the color in which the multiple LEDs provided on the LED tape 4 are to be lit, the content of the sound to be output from the speaker 5, and the degree of vibration of the vibrator 6. As a result, the LED tape 4 shown in FIG. 4 lights up the multiple LEDs in a color according to the determined content, the speaker 5 outputs a sound according to the determined content, and the vibrator 6 performs vibration according to the determined content.

[0034] <Explanation of an example of the use of the motion induction device> Next, a usage example of the motion induction device 1 according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.

[0035] In one example of use of this embodiment, as described above with reference to Figures 1 and 2, the motion induction device 1 is attached to a boxing glove B. In this state, when a user puts on the boxing glove B and exercises (moves), the acceleration sensor 30 shown in Figures 3 and 4 detects the acceleration of the motion, the gyro sensor 31 detects the angular acceleration of the motion, and the magnetic sensor 32 detects the geomagnetism of the motion.

[0036] Thus, the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor 30, the angular acceleration detected by the gyro sensor 31, and the geomagnetism detected by the magnetic sensor 32 are received by the determination unit 330 shown in Fig. 4, which outputs the received acceleration, angular acceleration, and geomagnetism to the sensor data acquisition unit 332. In response to this, the sensor data acquisition unit 332 acquires the acceleration, angular acceleration, and geomagnetism (step S1).

[0037] Next, the determination unit 330 receives the angular acceleration and geomagnetism acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332 shown in Fig. 4 from the sensor data acquisition unit 332, and outputs them to the attitude angle calculation unit 333 shown in Fig. 4. In response to this, the attitude angle calculation unit 333 calculates the attitude angle based on the angular acceleration and geomagnetism using a Madwick filter (step S2).

[0038] Next, the determination unit 330 receives the acceleration and angular acceleration acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332 shown in FIG. 4 from the sensor data acquisition unit 332, and further receives the posture angle calculated from the posture angle calculation unit 333 shown in FIG. 4, and outputs them to the motion content determination unit 334 shown in FIG. 4. In response to this, the motion content determination unit 334 determines the motion content based on the acceleration, angular acceleration, and posture angle. Specifically, the motion content determination unit 334 first determines whether the motion content of the user is a straight or a jab based on the angular acceleration (step S3). If the motion content of the user is a straight or a jab (step S3: YES), the motion content determination unit 334 determines whether the motion content of the user is a straight or a jab based on the acceleration, angular acceleration, and posture angle (step S4).

[0039] On the other hand, if the user's motion is neither a straight nor a jab (step S3: NO), the motion discrimination unit 334 discriminates whether the user's motion is a hook or an uppercut based on the posture angle (step S5). If the user's motion is a hook or an uppercut (step S5: YES), the motion discrimination unit 334 discriminates whether the user's motion is a hook or an uppercut based on the posture angle (step S6). On the other hand, if the user's motion is neither a hook nor an uppercut (step S5: NO), the motion discrimination unit 334 outputs a message to that effect to the judgment unit 330. In response to this, the judgment unit 330 ends the process.

[0040] Thus, when the action content discrimination unit 334 discriminates whether the action content of the user is a straight or a jab, the judgment unit 330 receives the discrimination content from the action content discrimination unit 334 and outputs it to the performance content determination unit 335 shown in FIG. 4. Furthermore, the judgment unit 330 also outputs the acceleration acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332 shown in FIG. 4 to the performance content determination unit 335 shown in FIG. 4. In response to this, the performance content determination unit 335 determines the performance content based on a comparison between a threshold value set in advance according to whether the action content is a straight or a jab and the acceleration. Specifically, the performance content determination unit 335 reads the table TBL shown in FIG. 6 stored in the storage unit 331 shown in FIG. 4, and determines which of stages 1 to 4 the action content corresponds to. First, the performance content determination unit 335 compares whether the acceleration value in the X-axis direction (the vertical direction shown in FIG. 1) is smaller than the first threshold value (e.g., −21000), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the fourth stage, then compares whether it is smaller than the second threshold value (e.g., −17000), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the third stage, then compares whether it is smaller than the third threshold value (e.g., −11000), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the second stage, then compares whether it is smaller than the fourth threshold value (e.g., −5000), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the first stage. Then, the performance content determination unit 335 refers to the table TBL shown in FIG. 6, and if it is the first stage, determines the content to output a first impact sound (e.g., a sound cutting through air) from the speaker 5, determines the content to cause the vibrator 6 to perform a small vibration, and determines the content to light up the multiple LEDs of the LED tape 4 in green. Furthermore, in the second stage, the performance content determination unit 335 determines the content to output a second impact sound (for example, the sound of something hitting lightly) from the speaker 5, determine the content to cause the vibrator 6 to perform a medium vibration, and determine the content to cause the multiple LEDs of the LED tape 4 to light up in blue. Furthermore, in the third stage, the performance content determination unit 335 determines the content to output a third impact sound (for example, the sound of something hitting heavy) from the speaker 5, determine the content to cause the vibrator 6 to perform a large vibration, and determine the content to cause the multiple LEDs of the LED tape 4 to light up in red.Furthermore, if it is the fourth stage, the performance content determination unit 335 determines the content to output a fourth impact sound (for example, a heavy, sharp sound of something hitting something) from the speaker 5, determines the content to cause the vibrator 6 to vibrate strongly, and determines the content to cause the multiple LEDs of the LED tape 4 to light up in rainbow colors (step S7).

[0041] The contents of the table TBL shown in Fig. 6 are set such that in the first stage, the arm is swung but does not actually hit an object, but if it did hit, it would not be enough to change the position. In the second stage, the arm is not actually hit, but the arm is given some kind of impact. In the third stage, the arm is not actually hit, but the arm is given a strong impact. In the fourth stage, the arm is not actually hit, but the arm is given a strong impact or destruction.

[0042] Thus, the contents of the table TBL shown in FIG. 6 are designed to develop the performance contents in stages, so that the Proteus effect can be expected.

[0043] On the other hand, when the action content discrimination unit 334 discriminates whether the action content of the user is a hook or an uppercut, the judgment unit 330 receives the discrimination content from the action content discrimination unit 334 and outputs it to the performance content determination unit 335 shown in FIG. 4. Furthermore, the judgment unit 330 also outputs the acceleration acquired by the sensor data acquisition unit 332 shown in FIG. 4 to the performance content determination unit 335 shown in FIG. 4. In response to this, the performance content determination unit 335 determines the performance content based on a comparison between a threshold value set in advance according to whether the action content is a hook or an uppercut and the acceleration. 1) is smaller than the fifth threshold (for example, -5000), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the fourth stage, then compares whether it is smaller than the sixth threshold (for example, -3750), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the third stage, then compares whether it is smaller than the seventh threshold (for example, -2500), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the second stage, then compares whether it is smaller than the eighth threshold (for example, -1250), and if it is smaller, determines that it is the first stage. Then, by referring to the table TBL shown in FIG. 6, the performance content determination unit 335 determines in what color the multiple LEDs provided on the LED tape 4 are to be lit, determines the content of the sound to be output from the speaker 5, and determines the degree of vibration of the vibrator 6 (step S8).

[0044] Next, when the performance content determination unit 335 determines the performance content in step S7 or step S8, the judgment unit 330 receives the determined content and outputs the determined content to the LED tape 4, the speaker 5, and the vibrator 6 shown in Fig. 4 (step S8). As a result, the LED tape 4 lights up multiple LEDs in a color corresponding to the determined content, the speaker 5 outputs a sound corresponding to the determined content, and the vibrator 6 performs vibrations corresponding to the determined content.

[0045] Therefore, according to the present embodiment described above, the performance is executed according to the movement of the person, so that the Proteus effect can be achieved. Therefore, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to increase interest in exercise.

[0046] Incidentally, the first attachment 20 of the attachment 2 described above also serves as a fixing device that securely fastens and fixes the boxing glove B to the wrist of the user. The motion analysis device 3 described above includes heavy components such as the processing unit 33 and the power supply unit 35. Therefore, when centrifugal force or the like is applied to the motion analysis device 3 due to the motion (motion) of the user, the motion analysis device 3 may try to come off the boxing glove B due to the weight of the components, and as a result, the motion analysis device 3 may perform an unstable operation. However, according to this embodiment, since the boxing glove B is firmly fastened and fixed to the wrist of the user by the first attachment 20, if the motion analysis device 3 is provided inside it, there is no risk that the motion analysis device 3 will come off the boxing glove B even if centrifugal force or the like is applied to the motion analysis device 3 due to the motion (motion) of the user. As a result, there is no risk that the motion analysis device 3 will perform an unstable operation due to the motion (motion) of the user, so the user can engage in exercise without worrying.

[0047] 3 can be communicably connected to a mobile terminal such as a smartphone or tablet (not shown). In this way, the action content determined by the action content determination unit 334 and the performance content determined by the performance content determination unit 335 can be transmitted to the mobile terminal. This allows the mobile terminal to manage the exercise.

[0048] <Description of Modifications> However, the shapes and the like shown in this embodiment are merely examples, and various modifications and changes are possible within the scope of the gist of the present invention described in the claims. In this embodiment, an example in which the motion induction device 1 is attached to a boxing glove B is shown, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the motion induction device 1 may be attached directly to the body of the user.

[0049] In addition, in this embodiment, an example is shown in which the action content of the user is determined by the action content determination unit 334, but if unnecessary, the action content determination unit 334 does not have to be provided. However, it is preferable to provide the action content determination unit 334. This is because by providing the action content determination unit 334, the action of the user can be accurately known, and thus the performance content according to the action content can be determined. This can further increase interest in exercise.

[0050] In the present embodiment, an example is shown in which the LED tape 4, the speaker 5, and the vibrator 6 are used to perform the effects, but only one of them, or only two of them, may be used. In addition to providing stimulation to the user with the above-mentioned light (LED tape 4), sound (speaker 5), and vibration (vibrator 6), electrodes may be placed on the inner surface of the boxing glove B, and a weak current may be passed through the electrodes to provide stimulation to the user.

[0051] In this embodiment, an example in which data processing is performed by the processing unit 33 has been shown, but the processing unit 33 may be executed by the mobile terminal (not shown) described above. However, when executing the performance contents described above, the performance contents processed and determined by the mobile terminal must be transmitted to the motion induction device 1, and depending on the communication speed, the user may be dissatisfied with the slow start of the performance. For this reason, it is preferable to process the data by the processing unit 33. [Industrial Applicability]

[0052] Incidentally, the motion induction device 1 in this embodiment can be used not only for punching motions such as straights and jabs, but also for kicking motions such as high kicks and heel drops, and can be used for a variety of motions. [Explanation of symbols]
