[0013] The form (embodiment) for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to the contents described in the following embodiment. Furthermore, the components described below include those that a person skilled in the art can easily imagine and those that are substantially the same. Furthermore, the configurations described below can be appropriately combined. Furthermore, various omissions, substitutions, or modifications of the configurations can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.

[0014] [Embodiment 1] A fixing device according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view that typically shows an example of the configuration of the fixing device according to the first embodiment. Fig. 2 is another perspective view that typically shows the fixing device shown in Fig. 1.

[0015] A fixture 1 according to the first embodiment and shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is for fixing an object 60 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 to an aluminum frame 50 shown in FIGS.

[0016] (Aluminum frame) First, the aluminum frame 50 will be described. Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing a schematic configuration example of a frame to which an object is fixed by the fixture shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line IV-IV in Fig. 3.

[0017] The aluminum frame 50 is made of a metal such as an aluminum alloy, and is formed into a linearly extending rectangular column shape (a quadrangular column shape in the first embodiment) as shown in Fig. 3. Note that in Fig. 3 and other figures, the aluminum frame 50 is shown shorter than it actually is in order to show the aluminum frame 50 in a schematic manner. In addition, hereinafter, the longitudinal direction of the aluminum frame 50 is referred to as the Y-axis direction, the width direction of the aluminum frame 50 which is perpendicular to the Y-axis direction and is the horizontal direction in Fig. 3 is referred to as the X-axis direction, and the thickness direction of the aluminum frame 50 which is perpendicular to both the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction and is the vertical direction in Fig. 3 is referred to as the Z-axis direction.

[0018] The aluminum frame 50 is formed in a rectangular column shape, and therefore has a plurality of outer surfaces 51 (four in the embodiment) parallel to the Y-axis direction, which is the direction in which the rectangular column extends. As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the aluminum frame 50 has a groove 52 formed parallel to the Y-axis direction on each outer surface 51. The groove 52 is provided in the center of each outer surface 51 in the width direction, and is recessed from the outer surface 51.

[0019] The grooves 52 are formed with a T-shaped cross section in which a bottom 54 on the inner side of the aluminum frame 50 is wider than an opening 53 opening on each outer surface 51. That is, the grooves 52 include an opening 53 opening on the outer surface 51, and a bottom 54 that is continuous with the opening 53 and is closer to the inner side of the aluminum frame 50 than the opening 53. The grooves 52 are formed such that a width 541 of the bottom 54 is wider than a width 531 of the opening 53.

[0020] In the first embodiment, the aluminum frame 50 has lightening holes 55 extending along the Y-axis direction for weight reduction.

[0021] A plurality of aluminum frames 50 having the above-mentioned configuration are fixed together by joints (not shown) to form the main body of various processing devices. The processing devices are, for example, a cutting device for cutting plate-shaped workpieces such as semiconductor wafers and optical device wafers, a laser processing device for laser processing, a grinding device for grinding, or a polishing device for polishing.

[0022] (Object) Next, the target object 60 will be described. Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing a schematic configuration example of the target object fixed to the frame shown in Fig. 3. Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line VI-VI in Fig. 5.

[0023] The target object 60 is fixed to the aluminum frame 50 by the fixture 1. In the first embodiment, the target object 60 is, for example, an electric wire that supplies power and control signals to various devices of the processing apparatus constituted by the aluminum frame 50, a cable tie that secures piping that secures fluids such as liquids and gases, or a plate-like ceiling member made of resin such as acrylic resin that constitutes the ceiling of the processing apparatus. Note that Figs. 5 and 6 only show a region 61 of the target object 60 that is clamped (i.e., fixed) by the fixture 1, and other portions are omitted.

[0024] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a region 61 of an object 60 is formed in a plate shape having a constant thickness T, and has a long through-hole 62 penetrating through the center.

[0025] (Fixing fixture) 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VII-VII in FIG. 1. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VIII-VIII in FIG. 2. The fixture 1 is made of resin or the like, and integrally includes a column portion 2, a base portion 3, and an engagement portion 4, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 7, and 8. In the first embodiment, the column portion 2 is formed in a cylindrical shape with an outer diameter smaller than the width 531 of the opening 53. For this reason, the column portion 2 can be inserted into the groove 52 with the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the outer surface 51. When the column portion 2 is inserted into the groove 52, it can rotate around the axis.

[0026] In addition, the longitudinal length L (shown in Figures 7 and 8) in the extension direction of the column portion 2 is greater than or equal to the thickness T of the object 60 in the region 61 where the object 60 is clamped plus the distance D (shown in Figure 4 and corresponding to the length of the widthwise inner wall of the groove 52) from the outer surface 51 of the aluminum frame 50 to the point where the groove 52 expands (i.e., to the bottom 54).

[0027] That is, the length L of the column portion 2, the thickness T of the region 61 of the object 60 to be clamped, and the distance D satisfy the following formula 1.

[0028] Length L ≧ Thickness T + Distance D Equation 1

[0029] In the first embodiment, the length L is equal to the sum of the thickness T and the distance D.

[0030] The base 3 is provided at one end of the column 2, and includes a base body 31 and a knob portion 32. The base body 31 is connected to one end of the column 2, and is formed in a flat plate shape with a constant thickness and a rectangular planar shape. When the column 2 is inserted into the groove 52, the base body 31 has the knob portion 32 provided on one surface 311 on the outer periphery side of the aluminum frame 50.

[0031] The handle portion 32 is formed convexly from one surface 311 of the base body 31, and in embodiment 1, extends along the longitudinal direction of the base body 31 so that it can be held with the fingers of a worker assembling the processing device.

[0032] Moreover, the width 313 of the base body 31 is wider than the width 531 of the opening 53 and the width of the through hole 62, and the length 314 is longer than the length of the through hole 62. For this reason, when the column portion 2 is inserted into the through hole 62 and the groove 52 of the object 60, the other surface 312 of the base body 31 on the back side of the one surface 311 abuts against the outer surface 51 from the outside via the object 60, and clamps the object 60 between the outer surface 51 of the aluminum frame 50.

[0033] The engagement part 4 is provided at the other end of the column part 2. It is provided so as to extend across the column part 2 in a first direction 11 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the column part 2. The engagement part 4 is formed in a flat plate shape with a constant thickness and a rectangular planar shape. That is, the first direction 11 is the longitudinal direction of the engagement part 4, and in the first embodiment, it is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the base body 31 of the base 3.

[0034] The engagement portion 4 has a width 41 in a direction perpendicular to the first direction 11 that is narrower than the width 531 of the opening 53 and the width of the through hole 62. The engagement portion 4 has a length 42 in the first direction 11 that is longer than the width 531 of the opening 53 and shorter than the length of the through hole 62 and the width 541 of the bottom 54. In addition, the thickness of the engagement portion 4 is equal to or smaller than the depth of the bottom 54.

[0035] For this reason, the engaging portion 4 can be inserted into the groove 52 when the first direction 11 is oriented parallel to the Y-axis direction, which is the extension direction of the groove 52. The engaging portion 4 cannot be inserted into or removed from the groove 52 when the engaging portion 4 is oriented in a second direction in which the first direction 11 is perpendicular to the Y-axis direction, which is the extension direction of the groove 52.

[0036] (Fixing method) Next, a method of fixing an object 60 to an aluminum frame 50 using the fixture 1 having the above-mentioned configuration will be described. FIG. 9 is a perspective view showing a state in which the object shown in FIG. 5 is placed on the outer surface of the aluminum frame shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 10 is a perspective view showing a state in which the engagement portion and the column portion of the fixture are inserted into the through-hole of the object and the groove of the aluminum frame shown in FIG. 9. FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view taken along line XI-XI in FIG. 10. FIG. 12 is a perspective view showing a state in which the base of the fixture shown in FIG. 10 is rotated 90 degrees. FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view taken along line XIII-XIII in FIG. 12.

[0037] When fixing the object 60 to the aluminum frame 50, the object 60 is placed on the outer surface 51 of the aluminum frame 50 at a position where the object 60 is to be fixed, as shown in Fig. 9. At this time, the through hole 62 is placed on the groove 52, and the longitudinal direction of the through hole 62 is made parallel to the longitudinal direction of the groove 52.

[0038] Thereafter, with the first direction 11 oriented parallel to the Y-axis direction, the engagement portion 4 and the column portion 2 of the fixture 1 are inserted into the groove 52 as shown in FIGS.

[0039] An operator rotates the fastener 1 around the axis of the column 2 by, for example, pinching the knob 32 of the base 3 so that the engaging portion 4 is oriented in a second direction in which the first direction 11 is perpendicular to the Y-axis direction, as shown in Fig. 12. Then, as shown in Fig. 13, the engaging portion 4 engages with the bottom 54 of the groove 52, and the fastener 1 clamps the object 60 between the outer surface 51 of the aluminum frame 50 and the other surface 312 of the base main body 31 of the base 3, thereby fixing the object 60 to the groove 52, i.e., the aluminum frame 50.

[0040] As described above, the fastener 1 of embodiment 1 fixes the object 60 in the groove 52 having a T-shaped cross section of the aluminum frame 50 by inserting the engagement portion 4 and the column portion 2 into the through hole 62 and the groove 52 with the first direction 11 oriented parallel to the Y-axis direction, and clamping the object 60 between the outer surface 51 of the aluminum frame 50 and the other surface 312 of the base body 31 of the base 3 of the fastener 1, and rotating the engagement portion 4 by the knob portion 32 of the base 3 so that it is oriented in a second direction in which the first direction 11 is perpendicular to the Y-axis direction, thereby fixing the object 60 in the groove 52.

[0041] Therefore, the fixing device 1 can easily fix the object 60 to the aluminum frame 50 without using screws and without requiring any work using tools.

[0042] As a result, the fastener 1 according to the first embodiment has the effect of easily fastening the object 60 to the aluminum frame 50.

[0043] [Modifications] A fixing device according to a modification of the first embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 14 is a cross-sectional view showing a typical example of the structure of a fixing device according to a first modification of the first embodiment. Fig. 15 is a perspective view showing a typical state in which the knob portion is removed from the base portion of the fixing device shown in Fig. 14. In Figs. 14 and 15, the same reference numerals are used to designate the same parts as those in the first embodiment, and description thereof will be omitted.

[0044] As shown in FIG. 14, the modified fixing device 1-1 has a hole 33 provided in a base body 31 of a base 3, an insertion protrusion 34 provided in a knob portion 32 to be inserted into the hole 33, and a thin-walled portion 35 connecting the inner surface of the hole 33 and the outer surface of the insertion protrusion 34.

[0045] After fixing object 60 to outer surface 51 of aluminum frame 50, fixing device 1-1 according to the modified example is configured such that knob portion 32 is pulled in a direction away from outer surface 51, etc., causing thin-walled portion 35 to break, and knob portion 32 is removed from base body 31 of base 3, as shown in Fig. 15. In this manner, fixing device 1-1 according to the modified example allows knob portion 32 to be removed from base 3 by breaking thin-walled portion 35.

[0046] The fixing device 1-1 of the modified example fixes the object 60 in the groove 52 by inserting the engagement portion 4 and the column portion 2 into the through hole 62 and the groove 52 with the first direction 11 oriented parallel to the Y-axis direction, and rotating the engagement portion 4 so that it is in a second orientation in which the first direction 11 is perpendicular to the Y-axis direction, thereby achieving the effect of easily fixing the object 60 to the aluminum frame 50, similar to embodiment 1.

[0047] Furthermore, in the modified fixing device 1-1, the knob portion 32 is removable from the base 3. Therefore, after the object 60 is fixed to the aluminum frame 50, the knob portion 32 can be removed, thereby preventing the engagement portion 4 from rotating so that the first direction 11 is parallel to the Y-axis direction while the object 60 is fixed.

[0048] [Embodiment 2] A fixing device according to the second embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 16 is a perspective view that typically shows a configuration example of the fixing device according to the second embodiment. FIG. 17 is a front view that typically shows the fixing device shown in FIG. 16. FIG. 18 is a front view that typically shows, in partial cross section, a main part of the fixing device shown in FIG. 16 fixing an object to a groove of an aluminum frame. FIG. 19 is a front view that typically shows, in partial cross section, a main part of the fixing device shown in FIG. 16 fixing another object to a groove of another aluminum frame. FIG. 20 is a front view that typically shows a modified example of the fixing device shown in FIG. 17. In FIG. 16, FIG. 17, FIG. 18, FIG. 19, and FIG. 20, the same parts as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted.

[0049] 16 and 17, a fastener 1-2 according to the second embodiment differs from that according to the first embodiment in the length L of the column portion 2 and the configurations of the base portion 3-2 and the engagement portion 4-2. In the fastener 1-2 according to the second embodiment, the length L of the column portion 2 does not satisfy the above-mentioned formula 1.

[0050] Fixture 1-2 according to embodiment 2 has elastically deformable contact portion 38 in a region that abuts against outer surface 51 of other surface 312 of base 3-2. Specifically, fixture 1-2 according to embodiment 2 has base main body 31-2 of base 3-2 that is integral with connecting portion 36, a pair of elastic deformation portions 37, and a pair of contact portions 38, as shown in FIG.

[0051] The connecting portion is connected to one end of the column portion 2. The pair of elastic deformation portions 37 are connected to both ends of the connecting portion in the first direction 11. The thickness of the elastic deformation portions 37 is thinner than the thickness of the connecting portion .

[0052] The abutment portion 38 is connected to the tip of the elastic deformation portion 37. In the second embodiment, the abutment portion 38 is formed in a columnar shape longer than the thickness of the elastic deformation portion 37, and the end portion away from the engagement portion 4-2 is connected to the tip of the elastic deformation portion 37. In the second embodiment, the connecting portion 36, the pair of elastic deformation portions 37, and the pair of abutment portions 38 are connected to each other so that one surface 311 of the base main body 31-2 of the base 3-2 is flat and parallel to the first direction 11.

[0053] In the second embodiment, the thickness of the elastic deformation portion 37 is formed thinner than the thickness of the connecting portion 36 and the length of the abutment portion 38. The base 3-2 is elastically deformable between a neutral state (shown by solid lines in Figs. 16 and 17) in which one surface 311 is flat and no external force is applied (i.e., no elastic deformation) and a deformed state (shown by two-dot chain line in Fig. 17) in which the tip of the abutment portion 38 closer to the engagement portion 4-2 is farther away from the engagement portion 4-2 than in the neutral state.

[0054] In this way, the fixing device 1-2 of embodiment 2 has an elastically deformable abutment portion 38 in the area abutting the outer surface 51 of the other surface 312 of the base 3-2, as a result of the elastic deformation portion 37 elastically deforming between the neutral state and the deformed state.

[0055] In the second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 16, the base 3-2 has an engagement hole 39 at the center of one surface 311 in the first direction 11, and similarly to the modified example of the first embodiment, the knob portion 32 has an insertion protrusion 34 inserted into the engagement hole 39, and a thin-walled portion 35 connecting the inner surface of the engagement hole 39 and the outer surface of the insertion protrusion 34 is provided, so that the knob portion 32 can be removed from the base body 31-2 of the base 3-1 by breaking the thin-walled portion 35. The engagement hole 39 is a hole into which the tip of a tool that rotates the fixing tool 1-2 around the axis of the column portion 2 engages, and is formed in a hexagonal planar shape. In the second embodiment, the insertion protrusion 34 is formed in a hexagonal column shape. In the second embodiment, the fixing tool 1-2 may be rotated by turning the knob portion 32, or the fixing tool 1-2 may be rotated by removing the knob portion 32 and engaging the tip of a tool with the engagement hole 39.

[0056] 16 and 17, a fastener 1-2 according to embodiment 2 has steps 43 formed on both ends of an engaging portion 4-2 on the base portion 3-2 side. Specifically, in the fastener 1-2 according to embodiment 2, steps 43 are formed on both ends of the engaging portion 4-2 in the first direction 11, and the steps 43 have a first step 44 and a second step 45.

[0057] The first step 44 is provided on a side farther from the base 3-2 than the second step 45. The first step 44 and the second step 45 gradually shorten the length of the engagement portion 4-2 in the first direction 11 toward the base 3-2.

[0058] A length 441 of the engaging portion 4-2 between the first step 44 and the second step 45 is shorter than the length 42 of the engaging portion 4-2. A length 451 of the engaging portion 4-2 closer to the base portion 3-2 than the second step 45 is shorter than the lengths 42,421.

[0059] In addition, in the second embodiment, the engaging portion 4-2 is provided with tapered portions 46 at both ends in the first direction 11 on the side away from the base portion 3-2, which gradually reduce the length of the engaging portion 4-2 as it moves away from the base portion 3-2.

[0060] When the fastener 1-2 according to the second embodiment fastens the object 60 to the groove 52, i.e., the aluminum frame 50, the object 60 and the aluminum frame 50 may be clamped between the bottom 442 of the first step 44 and the abutment portion 38 as shown in Fig. 18, or the object 60 and the aluminum frame 50 may be clamped between the bottom 452 of the second step 45 and the abutment portion 38 as shown in Fig. 19, depending on the thickness T of the object 60, the distance D of the aluminum frame 50, and the width 531 of the opening 53. Note that, when the fastener 1-2 according to the second embodiment fastens the object 60 to the groove 52, i.e., the aluminum frame 50, it is preferable to select the bottoms 442, 452 of the steps 44, 45 for clamping so that the elastic deformation portion 37 elastically deforms and the abutment portion 38 generates an elastic restoring force that presses the object 60 toward the outer surface 51 of the aluminum frame 50.

[0061] Also, in the present invention, a fastener 1-2 according to a second embodiment may have a base main body 31 of a base 3 formed in the same manner as in the first embodiment, and an abutting portion 38-2 formed in a piece shape with its base end connected to both ends in the first direction 11 of one end of a column portion 2. In the case shown in Fig. 20, the abutting portion 38-2 extends from its base end in the first direction 11, curves so that its center is closest to the engaging portion 4-2, and is elastically deformable between a neutral state shown by a solid line in Fig. 20 and a deformed state in which its tip is farther away from the engaging portion 4-2 than the neutral state, shown by a two-dot chain line in Fig. 20.

[0062] The fixing device 1-2 of embodiment 2 fixes the object 60 to the groove 52 by inserting the engagement portion 4 and the column portion 2 into the through hole 62 and the groove 52 with the first direction 11 oriented parallel to the Y-axis direction, and rotating the engagement portion 4 so that it is in a second orientation in which the first direction 11 is perpendicular to the Y-axis direction, thereby achieving the effect of easily fixing the object 60 to the aluminum frame 50, similar to embodiment 1.

[0063] Furthermore, in the fastener 1-2 of embodiment 2, the engagement portion 4-2 is provided with steps 44, 45, so that the steps 44, 45 for clamping the object 60 and the aluminum frame 50 between the bottoms 442, 452 and the abutment portion 38 can be selected according to the thickness T of the object 60 and the distance D of the aluminum frame 50, and multiple types of objects 60 with different thicknesses T can be fixed to multiple types of aluminum frames 50 with different distances D and widths 531.

[0064] Furthermore, since the fixing device 1-2 of embodiment 2 has an elastically deformable abutment portion 38, it is possible to fix multiple types of objects 60 having different thicknesses T to multiple types of aluminum frames 50 having different distances D and widths 531 in a state in which the objects 60 are pressed against the aluminum frames 50.

[0065] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be practiced in various modified forms without departing from the gist of the present invention.
