Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an electronic keyboard instrument. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, electronic keyboard instruments that can provide a keystroke sensation and tone similar to that of a real piano have been known. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an electronic organ (electronic keyboard instrument) that includes an organ body, a keyboard, and a speaker housed in the organ body, and generates electronic sounds in response to key depression. In this electronic organ, a reflector is provided on the sound emission side of the speaker, and the reflector reflects the sound emitted from the sound emission surface of the speaker, allowing the listener to hear better performance sounds, including high-pitched sounds. [0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2003-302974 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] There are cases where it is desirable to have the sound emitted from the speaker projected from inside the housing toward the head of the performer, thereby enabling the performer to obtain a good sound image. However, in the electronic organ disclosed in the above Patent Document 1, the speaker is attached with its sound-emitting surface facing downward, and the sound emitted from the speaker is emitted from below the organ body to the outside and directed toward the reflector, so that the sound emitted from the speaker and reflected by the reflector cannot be effectively delivered toward the performer, making it difficult to reproduce a sound field close to that of a real piano.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic keyboard instrument capable of reproducing a sound field similar to that of a real piano. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The electronic musical instrument of the present invention comprises a housing, a keyboard provided in the housing and arranged in the left-right direction of the housing, a sound-emitting member provided within the housing, and a reflective member provided on an upper part of the housing within the housing and having a reflective surface that reflects sound from the sound-emitting member. Effect of the Invention
[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an electronic keyboard instrument capable of reproducing a sound field close to that of a real piano. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The electronic keyboard instrument 1 shown in FIG. 1 includes a main body 10 and a leg 100. As shown in FIG. 1, the main body 10 includes a keyboard 20 having a plurality of keys 22 consisting of white keys 22W and black keys 22B, with the keying portion exposed, and a main body case (housing) 30 that surrounds and holds the keyboard 20. The leg 100 includes a pair of side plate members 110, a pedal frame 120, and a pedal device 130. In the following description, the arrangement direction of the plurality of keys 22 of the keyboard 20 is the left-right direction (the left side of FIG. 1 is the left direction), the extension direction of each key 22 is the front-rear direction (the front side of FIG. 1 is the front direction), and the up-down direction of the electronic keyboard instrument 1 is the up-down direction (the upper side of FIG. 1 is the up direction).
[0010] As shown in Fig. 1, the pair of side plate members 110 are plate-like members that are erected on the installation surface on both the left and right sides of the electronic keyboard instrument 1 with both plate surfaces facing in the left-right direction, and support the main body case 30. The pedal frame 120 connects the side plate members 110 below each other. The pedal device 130 is provided in approximately the center of the pedal frame 120 in the left-right direction. In the electronic keyboard instrument 1, for example, the main body case 30 of the main body 10 exposed to the outside and each side plate member 110 of the leg 100 are each made of wood. The configuration of the main body 10 will be described in detail below.
[0011] As shown in Figs. 1 to 5, the main body case 30 has a horizontally elongated, generally rectangular shape with the left-right direction as viewed from above and below, and includes thick plate-like members, such as a front panel 32, a rear panel 33, a left panel 34, a right panel 35, a front top panel 36F, a rear top panel 36B, and a bottom panel 37, and has a generally L-shaped vertical section (see Fig. 5). Fig. 2 shows a state in which the rear panel 33 has been removed, and Fig. 4 shows a state in which the front top panel 36F, the rear top panel 36B, and a cover panel (upper surface member) 11, which will be described later, have been removed. The front panel 32 has a generally rectangular shape that is elongated in the left-right direction, and is provided at the lower part of the front end of the main body 10 and below the keyboard 20 to form the front surface of the main body case 30. A power button 32a is provided at the right end of the front panel 32 (see Fig. 1). The rear panel 33 has a generally rectangular shape that is long in the left-right direction, and is provided at the rear of the main body 10 to constitute the rear of the main body case 30.
[0012] The left side panel 34 and the right side panel 35 are both substantially rectangular in shape and elongated in the front-rear direction, and a step is provided in the substantially central portion in the front-rear direction so that the front side is substantially equal in height to the keyboard 20. The left side panel 34 and the right side panel 35 are provided on the left and right sides of the main body 10, respectively, and constitute the left and right sides of the main body case 30. The front top panel 36F is substantially rectangular in shape and elongated in the left-right direction, and is provided on the front side of the upper rear part of the main body 10, and constitutes a part of the upper surface of the main body case 30. The rear top panel 36B is substantially rectangular in shape and elongated in the left-right direction, and is provided on the rear side of the upper rear part of the main body 10, and constitutes a part of the upper surface of the main body case 30. As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 4, a volume panel section 24 on which a volume knob 24a and the like are arranged is provided between the keyboard 20 and the right side panel 35. In addition, a setting panel section 26 on which various setting buttons 26a and the like are arranged is provided between the keyboard 20 and the left side panel 34.
[0013] As shown in Figs. 1, 2, and 5, the rear top panel 36B is attached to the rear panel 33 so as to be rotatable so that the front side opens. A cover plate 11, which is a substantially rectangular plate long in the left-right direction, is provided on the lower side of the rear top panel 36B with both plate surfaces facing the up-down direction. The cover plate 11 is provided with a plurality of substantially rectangular upper openings (holes) 11a that open upward from the inside of the main body case 30 at intervals in the left-right direction (see Figs. 1 and 3). The upper and side surfaces of the cover plate 11 are covered with a saran net. When the rear top panel 36B is in an open state, the openings on the lower side of the rear top panel 36B are covered by the cover plate 11 so that the inside of the main body case 30 cannot be seen. In addition, a music stand 36F1 is attached to the front top panel 36F at approximately the center in the left-right direction. The lower panel 37 is a substantially rectangular plate long in the left-right direction, and is provided below the main body part 10 to form the lower surface of the main body case 30.
[0014] 2 and 4, a console member 12, which is a generally rectangular plate long in the left-right direction, is provided behind each key 22 of the keyboard 20 with both plate surfaces facing up and down. The console member 12 is provided so as to cover the rear ends of each key 22 of the keyboard 20 at a position where it overlaps with the front end of the front top plate 36F in the up-down direction. The console member 12 prevents the inside of the main body case 30 from being seen from outside the electronic keyboard instrument 1 through the gap at the rear end of the keyboard 20. In addition, the provision of the console member 12 behind each key 22 restricts the movement of each key 22 in the front-rear direction.
[0015] As shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of first sheet metal members 13, each of which is substantially plate-shaped and extends downward with both plate surfaces facing the front-rear direction, are provided at intervals along the left-right direction at the rear end of the lower surface of the console member 12. The lower end of the first sheet metal member 13 is attached to a lower plate 37. The rear side of the keyboard 20 is fixed to the main body case 30 by the first sheet metal member 13. The space in front of the first sheet metal member 13 is a space provided below the keyboard 20. The lower end of the first sheet metal member 13 is provided with a plurality of notches (not shown). The spaces in front of and behind the first sheet metal member 13 inside the main body case 30 are communicated by the notches provided between the plurality of first sheet metal members 13 and in the first sheet metal member 13.
[0016] As shown in Figs. 2 and 4, the main body case 30 has an opening at the front upper side between the front panel 32 and the console member 12, and a part of the upper surface and the front surface, which are the striking surfaces of each key 22 of the keyboard 20, are exposed to the outside from this opening. The main body 10 is provided with a key cover 38 that covers the part of the keyboard 20 that is exposed to the outside. The key cover 38 is a thick plate-like member, and is configured with a front cover part 38a and a rear cover part 38b, which are plate-like members having a substantially rectangular shape elongated in the left-right direction, arranged in parallel from front to back (see Fig. 5). The front cover part 38a is rotatably connected to the front link member FL fixed to the main body case 30 via the front attachment member 14 having a horizontally elongated shape. Two horizontally elongated substantially rectangular attachment openings 14a that open so as to penetrate the front attachment member 14 are provided on both sides in the left-right direction in a portion (handle portion) near the center of the front attachment member 14.
[0017] 5, the rear cover portion 38b is rotatably connected to a rear link member BL fixed to the main body case 30 via a horizontally elongated rear attachment member 15. The front cover portion 38a and the rear cover portion 38b are connected in a bifold manner via hinges, and are stored in and out of the space behind the first sheet metal member 13 inside the main body case 30 through a gap between the console member 12 and a display panel 18 (described later). When the power is turned off in the electronic keyboard instrument 1, the key cover 38 is pulled out from inside the main body portion 10 to cover the opening of the main body case 30 through which the keyboard 20 is exposed, and the exposed portion of the keyboard 20 is covered.
[0018] In the electronic keyboard instrument 1, when the keyboard 20 is covered by the key cover 38, the gap between the console member 12 and the display panel 18 is covered by the rear attachment member 15. Furthermore, when the power is turned on and the key cover 38 is stored in the space behind the first sheet metal member 13, a small gap is generated between the lower panel 37 and the rear attachment member 15. Therefore, when the key cover 38 is stored, the inside of the main body case 30 is divided into a front space FS provided in front of the key cover 38 and a rear space BS provided behind the key cover 38.
[0019] As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 5, a second sheet metal member 16 extending in the left-right direction is attached to the underside of the front top plate 36F. A display plate 18, which is a substantially rectangular thick plate long in the left-right direction, is provided at the front end of the second sheet metal member 16 with its display surface facing forward (see Figs. 1 and 2). The display plate 18 is provided between the key cover 38 and the front top plate 36F with gaps opening to the front side on both the top and bottom sides. The display plate 18 covers most of the space between the key cover 38 and the front top plate 36F so that the rear space BS is not visible. The display plate 18 displays information related to the performance of the electronic keyboard instrument 1 on a display surface provided on its front surface.
[0020] As shown in Figs. 3 and 5, the first perforated member 40, which is a substantially rectangular plate elongated in the left-right direction, is attached to the front side of the second sheet metal member 16 above the keyboard 20 by screws with both plate surfaces facing the front-rear direction. The first perforated member 40 is provided on the front side of the reflector plate 60 described later. The first perforated member 40 is provided with a plurality of holes that open from the inside of the main body case 30 toward the front side (penetrating in the plate thickness direction). The first perforated member 40 is provided on the second sheet metal member 16 behind the display plate 18 with a small gap between the first perforated member 40 and the display plate 18 in the front-rear direction. As shown in Fig. 5, the lower part of the first perforated member 40 overlaps with the display plate 18 in the front-rear direction.
[0021] As shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 4, the electronic keyboard instrument 1 is provided with a total of four speakers (sound emitting members) 50R, 50L, one pair of which is provided on the rear side of the upper surface of the lower panel 37 in the rear space BS. Each speaker 50R, 50L is provided below and behind the keyboard 20, with a substantially truncated cone-shaped sound emitting section 50R1, 50L1 disposed above the lower panel 37. Sound from each sound emitting section 50R1, 50L1 is emitted into the rear space BS. The pair of speakers 50R on one side (hereinafter also referred to as the "right speaker pair (treble sound emitting member) 50R") is provided at a position near the right side of the upper surface of the lower panel 37, and corresponds to the emission of high-pitched sounds. The other pair of speakers 50L (hereinafter also referred to as the "left speaker pair (low-pitched sound-emitting member) 50L") are arranged in parallel with the right speaker 50R in the left-right direction, each positioned toward the left side of the upper surface of the lower panel 37, and are capable of emitting low-pitched sound.
[0022] As shown in Figs. 2 to 4, above each speaker 50R, 50L and directly below the cover plate 11, two reflectors (reflecting members) 60R, 60L that reflect sounds emitted from each speaker 50R, 50L are provided on both the left and right sides of the main body case 30 in a form independent of the main body case 30. In detail, one reflector 60R (hereinafter also referred to as "right side reflector (high-pitched sound side reflector) 60R") is provided above the right speaker pair 50R, and one reflector 60L (hereinafter also referred to as "left side reflector (low-pitched sound side reflector) 60L") is provided above the left speaker pair 50L so as to overlap in the vertical direction (see Fig. 4). Each reflector 60R, 60L is attached to the lower surface of the cover plate 11 via a third sheet metal member (attachment member) 19 by screwing. The third sheet metal member 19 has a screw portion 19a which is screwed to the cover plate 11, and an attachment portion 19b which extends downward from the front edge of the screw portion and to which the reflectors 60R, 60L are attached (see FIG. 3).
[0023] Each reflector 60 is made of the same material, for example, a wooden material having a horizontally elongated, substantially rectangular shape. Each reflector 60 is provided at a height substantially equal to that of the display panel 18 in the main body case 30. As a result, the sound reflected by each reflector 60R, 60L is effectively guided toward the first perforated member 40 side or the upper opening 11a side. The surfaces of each reflector 60R, 60L facing forward are reflection surfaces 60R1, 60L1 that reflect sound, respectively. Each reflector 60R, 60L is provided in a slightly upwardly inclined position so that the reflection surfaces 60R1, 60L1 face the first perforated member 40 side or the upper opening 11a side (see FIG. 5). The reflection angles of the reflection surfaces 60R1, 60L1 of each reflector 60R, 60L are equal. In detail, as shown in FIG. 6, each reflector 60R, 60L is disposed in a slightly upwardly tilted position so that the angle θ1 between the cover plate 11 and the reflecting surface 60a, in other words, the angle θ1 between each reflecting surface 60R1, 60L1 and the front-to-rear direction, is within the range of 60° to 70°.
[0024] Also, each of the reflectors 60R, 60L is provided with its reflecting surface 60a inclined slightly to the right in the left-right direction. That is, each of the reflectors 60R, 60L is provided with its reflecting surface 60R1, 60L1 inclined toward the side from the left speaker pair 50L toward the right speaker pair 50R. Therefore, the reflecting surface 60L1 of the left reflector 60L faces toward the performer (the front side of the main body case 30 and the center side in the left-right direction), whereas the reflecting surface 60R1 of the right reflector 60R faces away from the performer (the front side of the main body case 30 and the outer side in the left-right direction) (see FIG. 4). 7, each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L is provided in a position slightly tilted to the right so that the angle θ2 between the rear plate 33 and the upper side of the reflecting plate 60, in other words the angle θ2 between each of the reflecting surfaces 60R, 60L and the left-right direction, is within a range of 5° to 10°. The mounting portion 19b of the third sheet metal member 19 is provided so as to extend parallel to the reflecting surfaces 60R1, 60L1 of each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L (see FIG. 6).
[0025] Here, the way in which the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L and reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L are transmitted will be described. As shown in Fig. 4, the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L are divided into direct sounds that are reflected inside the main body case 30 and reach the performer side (the front side and the center side in the left-right direction of the main body case 30) from inside the main body case 30, and indirect sounds that do not travel from inside the main body case 30 to the performer side but spread outside the main body case 30 and are reflected by walls and the like to reach the performer. A part of the sounds reflected inside the main body case 30 is reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L and heads toward the outside of the main body case 30.
[0026] Among these, the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R is in the high frequency range, so it is highly directional and does not spread easily. If the right reflector 60R is not provided, the direct sound component will be greater than the indirect sound component. In contrast, in this embodiment, the reflecting surface 60R1 of the right reflector 60R is slightly inclined to the right (the side away from the performer), so that the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R and reflected by the reflecting surface 60R1 (hereinafter referred to as "outward reflected sound S1" (see FIG. 2)) tends to go toward the outside of the main body case 30. Therefore, compared to a configuration in which the right reflector 60R is not provided, the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R has an increased indirect sound component, while the direct sound component is suppressed. As a result, the balance between the direct sound component and the indirect sound component of the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R is improved to be approximately uniform.
[0027] On the other hand, the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L is in the low frequency range and has low directivity and tends to spread, so if the left reflector 60L is not provided, the direct sound component will be insufficient compared to the indirect sound component. In contrast, in this embodiment, the reflecting surface 60L1 of the left reflector 60L is inclined slightly to the right (toward the performer) like the right reflector 60R, so that the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L and reflected by the reflecting surface 60L1 (hereinafter referred to as "inward reflected sound S2" (see FIG. 2)) tends to go directly toward the performer. Therefore, the direct sound component of the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L is increased while the indirect sound component is suppressed compared to a configuration in which the left reflector 60L is not provided. As a result, the balance between the direct sound component and the indirect sound component of the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L is improved to be approximately uniform.
[0028] In addition, when the electronic keyboard instrument 1 of this embodiment is used, the head of the player is located higher than the reflectors 60R and 60L, but in this embodiment, the reflecting surfaces 60R1 and 60L1 of the reflectors 60R and 60L are tilted slightly upward, so that the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R and 50L and reflected by the reflectors 60R and 60L reach the ears of the player more easily than when the reflecting surfaces 60R1 and 60L1 are directed forward. As described above, in this embodiment, the reflectors 60R and 60L are provided so that direct and indirect sounds of high-pitched sounds emitted from the right speaker pair 50R and low-pitched sounds emitted from the left speaker pair 50L reach the ears of the player in a well-balanced manner.
[0029] Furthermore, if each reflector 60R, 60L (each reflecting surface 60R1, 60L1) is not attached to the underside of the cover plate 11, but rather support legs are provided that are connected to the back side of each reflector 60R, 60L and stand vertically relative to the bottom plate 37 in order to fix (support) them at the height as shown in Figure 5, if each speaker 50R, 50L is placed on both the left and right sides inside the main body case 30 (bottom plate 37), it will be difficult to provide the support legs and each reflector 60R, 60L on both the left and right sides. Moreover, if the speakers 50R, 50L are arranged on both the left and right sides of the inside of the main body case 30 (the bottom panel 37), and the reflecting plates 60R, 60L are attached to the bottom surface of the cover plate 11 inside the main body case 30 and are provided toward the center in the left-right direction, the sounds from the speakers 50R, 50L are unlikely to be reflected by the reflecting plates 60R, 60L, making it difficult to separate sounds that should be directed toward the performer from sounds that should not be directed toward the performer. In other words, even if the angle of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L is adjusted, the sounds from the speakers 50R, 50L are unlikely to reach the reflecting surfaces 60R1, 60L1. In contrast to this, in the electronic keyboard instrument 1 of this embodiment, the speakers 50R, 50 and the reflectors 60R, 60L are arranged on both the left and right sides of the main case 30 in the arrangement manner described above, so that the low-pitched sounds emitted from the left speaker 50L and the high-pitched sounds emitted from the right speaker 50R can be effectively reflected by each of the reflecting members 60R, 60L, respectively.
[0030] In addition, although it is basically difficult to reduce the width dimension (horizontal dimension) of the keyboard 20 or the number of keys 22 of the keyboard 20, there is a desire to make the front-rear dimension as small as possible. In that case, the thickness of the rear panel 33 may be reduced, but if the third sheet metal member 19 is fixed to a thin rear panel 33, the screws for fixing the third sheet metal member 19 are likely to be exposed to the outside of the main body case 30, which may damage the appearance of the electronic keyboard instrument 1. Therefore, in this embodiment, the third sheet metal member 19 is fixed to the cover plate 11, whose thickness direction is a vertical direction different from the front-rear direction and is covered by the rear top panel 36B and is therefore unlikely to be exposed to the outside of the main body case 30, thereby preventing the appearance of the electronic keyboard instrument 1 from being damaged.
[0031] Returning to the description of the configuration of each member in the main body case 30, as shown in Figs. 3 and 5, the second perforated member 70, which is a substantially rectangular plate long in the left-right direction, is attached to the front end of the lower surface of the cover plate 11 with both plate surfaces facing the front-rear direction behind the first perforated member 40 and above the keyboard 20 by screwing it to the front end of the cover plate 11. The second perforated member 70 is provided with a plurality of holes that open from the inside of the main body case 30 toward the front side (penetrating in the plate thickness direction). The second perforated member 70 is also provided on the front side of each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L with a gap between it and each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L in the front-rear direction. The sounds reflected by the reflecting surfaces 60R1, 60L1 of each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L that are directed toward the front side of each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L pass through the holes provided in the second perforated member 70 and are emitted forward.
[0032] Next, the configuration of each member provided in the front space FS will be described. As shown in Fig. 5, a first support member 80 is provided on the front side of the first sheet metal member 13 in the front space FS. The first support member 80 is provided over substantially the entire area below the keyboard 20, and has a horizontally elongated shape similar to the keyboard 20 (see Fig. 2). The first support member 80 is a hollow member that is open downward. The keyboard 20 is supported by the main body case 30 by the first support member 80 and a second support member 88, which will be described later. The above-mentioned second sheet metal member 16 is provided on the rear side of the first support member 80.
[0033] The front end of the first support member 80 is a convex portion 80a that protrudes upward. The portion of the first support member 80 that is located below the black key 22B of each key 22 is a platform portion 80b that protrudes upward. Between the convex portion 80a and the platform portion 80b is a concave portion 80c that is concave downward. A pivot point portion 80b1 that rotatably supports the rear end portion of each key 22 of the keyboard 20 is provided at the rear portion of the upper surface of the platform portion 80b. In addition, a control board 85 is provided on the upper surface of the platform portion 80b. The control board 85 is provided with a switch that generates a sound corresponding to the pressed key 22. The concave portion 80c is provided with a plurality of concave portion openings 80d that open in the front-rear and up-down directions and are arranged in the left-right direction (see FIG. 4).
[0034] A plurality of hammer members 84 are provided below the base portion 80b in the space inside the first support member 80, and are connected to the respective keys 22. The hammer members 84 each include a substantially triangular weight portion 84a and an arm portion 84b that extends linearly forward from the weight portion 84a. The arm portion 84b is rotatably supported by a pivot member 86 provided on the front portion of the inside of the base portion 80b. When each key 22 is struck, the weight portion 84a of the hammer members 84 rises, and weight can be applied to each key 22 when it is struck. This provides a striking sensation similar to that of a real piano.
[0035] A second support member 88 arranged on the bottom plate 37 is provided in a portion of the space inside the first support member 80 that is forward of the portion where the hammer member 84 is arranged. The second support member 88 is a hollow member that opens downward, and is attached to the main body case 30 by being screwed to the bottom plate 37. The second support member 88 indirectly supports the keyboard 20 via the first support member 80 with respect to the main body case 30, which is made of wood. A pivot member 86 that supports the arm portion 84b of the hammer member 84 is provided on the second support member 88.
[0036] Next, the communication paths P1 to P4 provided inside the main body case 30 and serving as sound emission paths for the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R and 50L will be described. As shown in Fig. 5, in the electronic keyboard instrument 1 of this embodiment, four communication paths P1 to P4 are provided inside the main body case 30 as sound emission paths for the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R and 50L to the outside of the main body case 30. The first communication path P1 is a communication path that runs from each speaker 50R, 50L to the front space FS via a gap provided between the lower panel 37 and the rear mounting member 15, passes below each hammer member 84, passes through the recessed portion opening 80d to the upper side of the first support member 80, and reaches the outside of the main body case 30 from between each key 22.
[0037] The second communication path P2 is a communication path that extends from each speaker 50R, 50L through a gap between the lower panel 37 and the rear mounting member 15 to the rear side of the first sheet metal member 13, passes through the rear side of the first sheet metal member 13 upward, and reaches the outside of the main body case 30 through the mounting opening 14a. The third communication path P3 is a communication path that extends from each speaker 50R, 50L upward through the rear space BS, passes through a hole in the second perforated member 70 and a hole in the first perforated member 40 in this order, and reaches the outside of the main body case 30 through a gap between the display panel 18 and the front top plate 36F. The fourth communication path P4 is a communication path that extends from each speaker 50R, 50L upward through the rear space BS, and reaches the outside of the main body case 30 through the upper opening 11a of the cover plate 11.
[0038] Here, most of the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L and reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L reach the outside of the main body case 30 via the fourth communication passage P4, and the remaining components reach the outside of the main body case 30 via the third communication passage P3. In this embodiment, the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L and passing through the third and fourth communication passages P3, as described above, are reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L, so that the balance between the direct sound S1 component and the indirect sound S2 component is approximately uniform for both high-pitched and low-pitched sounds, and the sounds are transmitted to the performer in a well-balanced manner. Note that the sounds reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L only need to pass through at least the third communication passage P3 to the outside of the main body case 30, so that the reflectors 60R, 60L are not limited to a configuration inclined to face upward, and may be a configuration inclined downward.
[0039] As described above, the electronic keyboard instrument 1 of this embodiment comprises a main body case 30, a keyboard 20 provided in the main body case 30 and arranged in the left-right direction of the main body case 30, speakers 50R, 50L provided within the main body case 30, and reflectors 60R, 60L provided at the top of the main body case 30 within the main body case 30 and having reflective surfaces 60R1, 60L1 that reflect sounds from the speakers 50R, 50L.
[0040] In the electronic keyboard instrument 1 of the present embodiment configured as described above, by adjusting the angles of the reflectors 60R and 60L, it is possible to increase the direct sound component of the inward reflected sound S2 that goes directly from inside the main body case 30 to the player side by reflecting the low-frequency sound with low directivity among the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R and 50L by the reflectors 60R and 60L, and it is possible to increase the indirect sound component of the outward reflected sound S1 that goes from inside the main body case 30 to the outside of the main body case 30 by reflecting the high-frequency sound with high directivity among the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R and 50L by the reflectors 60R and 60L. Therefore, in the electronic keyboard instrument 1, the balance between the direct sound and the indirect sound components of the sounds emitted from each speaker 50R and 50L is improved in the direction of becoming approximately uniform, and a sound field close to that of a real piano can be reproduced.
[0041] Moreover, the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment includes a cover plate 11 provided on the upper part of the main body case 30, and the reflectors 60R, 60L are provided on the cover plate 11 within the main body case 30. This configuration provides a specific configuration for the mounting positions of the reflectors 60R, 60L in the main body case 30. Furthermore, since the position of the performer in the electronic keyboard instrument 1 is on the upper side of the main body case 30, by providing the reflectors 60R, 60L on the upper part of the main body case 30, the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L and reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L can be effectively delivered to the performer.
[0042] Moreover, in the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the cover plate 11 has holes that open upward from the inside of the main body case 30. This allows most of the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L and reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L to pass through the holes provided in the cover plate 11 and travel toward the outside of the main body case 30, so that the sounds emitted from the speakers 50R, 50L and reflected by the reflectors 60R, 60L can reach the player more effectively.
[0043] In the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the reflectors 60R and 60L include a left reflector 60L provided above the left speaker pair 50L and a right reflector 60R provided above the right speaker pair 50R. With this configuration, a part of the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L is reflected by the left reflector 60L, and a part of the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R is reflected by the right reflector 60R. Therefore, the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L and the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R can be reflected by different reflectors 60R and 60L.
[0044] In the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the reflectors 60R, 60L are provided with reflecting surfaces 60R1, 60L1 inclined toward the upper side of the main body case 30 and inclined in the left-right direction from the left speaker pair 50L to the right speaker pair 50R. With this configuration, the inward reflected sound S2 emitted from the left speaker pair 50L and reflected by the left reflector 60L can be effectively directed toward the player (the left-right center side and the upper side of the main body case 30), and the outward reflected sound S1 emitted from the right speaker pair 50R and reflected by the right reflector 60R can be effectively directed toward the outside of the main body case 30 (the side away from the player).
[0045] In the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the reflectors 60R, 60L are provided inclined toward the upper side of the main body case 30 so that the reflecting surfaces 60R1, 60L1 form an angle θ1 within a range of 60° to 70° with respect to the front-to-rear direction of the main body case 30. This makes it possible to provide a specific angle of the reflecting surface 60L1 for effectively reflecting the sound emitted from the left speaker pair 50L toward the player by the left reflector 60L.
[0046] In the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the reflectors 60R, 60L are inclined in the left-right direction from the left speaker pair 50L to the right speaker pair 50R so that the reflecting surfaces 60R1, 60L1 form an angle θ2 within a range of 5° to 10° with respect to the left-right direction of the main body case 30. This makes it possible to provide a specific angle of the reflecting surface 60R1 for effectively reflecting the sound emitted from the right speaker pair 50R to the outside of the main body case 30 by the right reflector 60R.
[0047] In addition, in the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the left speaker pair 50L is provided on the left side in the left-right direction within the main body case 30, and the right speaker pair 50R is provided on the right side in the left-right direction within the main body case 30. With this configuration, like a grand piano, high-pitched sounds are emitted from the right side of the main body case 30 and low-pitched sounds are emitted from the left side of the main body case 30, while the balance between the direct sound components and the indirect sound components can be improved to be approximately uniform by each of the reflecting plates 60R, 60L, and a sound field close to that of a grand piano can be reproduced.
[0048] In addition, in the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment, the left reflector 60L provided above the left speaker pair 50L and the right reflector 60R provided above the right speaker pair 50R have the same inclination angle with respect to the main body case 30. With this configuration, the left reflector 60L and the right reflector 60R can be made common, which simplifies the manufacturing process of the electronic keyboard instrument 1 and reduces manufacturing costs.
[0049] Moreover, the electronic keyboard instrument 1 according to this embodiment includes a first perforated member 40 and a second perforated member 70 that have holes that open from the inside of the main body case 30 toward the front, and are provided on the front side of the main body case 30 relative to the reflectors 60R, 60L and above the keyboard 20. With this configuration, the sound emitted from each speaker 50R, 50L and reflected forward by the reflectors 60R, 60L passes through the first perforated member 40 and the second perforated member 70 toward the player, so that the first perforated member 40 and the second perforated member 70 act as a sound propagation path, and the sound can be effectively directed toward the player.
