AI Technical Summary
Existing hair dye compositions with direct dyes face challenges in maintaining high temperature stability, especially during long-distance transportation and long-term storage, where direct dyes are often exposed to high temperature conditions.
Incorporating an oil-soluble antioxidant, such as polyphenol fatty acid esters or vitamin C fatty acid esters, into the hair dye composition to enhance the high temperature stability of direct dyes.
The use of oil-soluble antioxidants significantly improves the high temperature stability of direct dyes, ensuring that the hair dye composition retains its effectiveness even after storage at 50°C for three months, with residual dye rates of 90% or more.

Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a hair dye composition, and more particularly to a hair dye composition having excellent high-temperature stability of a direct dye. [Background technology]
[0002] Hair coloring agents are broadly classified into permanent hair dyes such as oxidation hair dyes that use oxidation dyes, bleaches that lighten hair, semi-permanent hair dyes that use direct dyes, and temporary hair dyes that temporarily color hair. Of these, permanent hair dyes such as oxidation hair dyes that contain oxidation dyes are widely used because they can provide excellent hair dyeing effects, but they have the disadvantage of placing a heavy burden on the hair and scalp because they generally contain oxidizing agents and alkaline agents.
[0003] In contrast, semi-permanent hair dyes are hair dye compositions that contain direct dyes such as basic dyes, acid dyes, and HC dyes, and demand for them has been increasing in recent years as they cause less damage to hair and provide good color development.
[0004] Increased demand has led to long-distance transportation and long-term storage, which means that direct dyes are often exposed to high-temperature conditions during long-term storage. This can reduce the stability of direct dyes, making it a challenge to maintain the high-temperature stability of direct dyes.
[0005] Conventionally, as in Patent Document 1, it has been proposed that antioxidants such as ascorbic acid are effective in improving the stability of direct dyes, and among them, resorcin is particularly effective. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2016-132776 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] However, resorcin and ascorbic acid could not provide sufficient effect on the high temperature stability of direct dyes.
[0008] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a hair dye composition which exhibits excellent high-temperature stability of a direct dye. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] The present inventors have discovered that a hair dye composition containing a direct dye, which is characterized by containing (A) an oil-soluble antioxidant, can provide a hair dye composition having excellent high-temperature stability of the direct dye, and have thus completed the present invention.
