Claims
1. 1. A betel nut flavored product comprising a composition, said composition comprising arecoline and benzoic acid, said product being a chewing gum.
2. The compounding acid of the composition is 10. The product of claim 1, further comprising at least one of formic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, isovaleric acid, 2-methylbutyric acid, valeric acid, 3-methylvaleric acid, 2-methyl-2-pentenoic acid, trans-2-hexenoic acid, hexanoic acid, heptanoic acid, octanoic acid, 2-nonenoic acid, capric acid, dodecanoic acid, tetradecanoic acid, hexadecanoic acid, octadecanoic acid, arachidic acid, salicylic acid, oxalic acid, citric acid, sorbic acid, tartaric acid, adipic acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrobromic acid, glycine, alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, tryptophan, serine, tyrosine, cysteine, methionine, asparagine, glutamine, threonine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, lysine, arginine, or histidine.

The product according to any one of claims 1 to 2, wherein the molar ratio of arecoline to the acid is n, wherein the value of n is in the range of 0<n≦10, alternatively the value of n is in the range of 0<n≦8, alternatively the value of n is in the range of 0<n≦6, alternatively the value of n is in the range of 0<n≦5, alternatively the value of n is in the range of 0<n≦3, alternatively the value of n is in the range of 0<n≦2.
4. 3. The product of claim 1, wherein the arecoline and the benzoic acid are formed into an arecoline salt.

The mass percentage of arecoline is 0.01% to 1%, alternatively, the mass percentage of arecoline is 0.01% to 0.8%, alternatively, the mass percentage of arecoline is 0.01% to 0.6%, alternatively, the mass percentage of arecoline is 0.01% to 0.5%, alternatively, the mass percentage of arecoline is 0.05% to 0.5%, alternatively, the mass percentage of arecoline is 0.1% to 0.5%, alternatively, the mass percentage of arecoline is 0.2% to 0.5%, based on the total mass of the chewing gum raw materials. The product according to any one of claims 1 to 2.

The product according to claim 1, wherein the percentage by weight of acid in the chewing gum is 0.01% to 10%, alternatively the percentage by weight of acid is 0.2% to 10%, alternatively the percentage by weight of acid is 1% to 10%, alternatively the percentage by weight of acid is 1% to 5%, alternatively the percentage by weight of acid is 1% to 4%, alternatively the percentage by weight of acid is 1% to 3%, alternatively the percentage by weight of acid is 1% to 2%, relative to the total weight of the ingredients of the chewing gum.
