[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a hair styling tool for straightening and combing a strand of hair. [Background technology]
[0002] Some conventional hair styling tools are capable of pinching and combing a bundle of hair. For example, there is already a configuration in which one end of a tong-shaped tool is provided with a comb-teeth part for combing hair, and the other end is provided with a hair-parting part for dividing the bundle of hair, and the bundle of hair is pinched between the comb-teeth part and the hair-parting part, and the bundle of hair can be combed while being pulled. Combing the bundle of hair while pulling it can be expected to have the effect of straightening out curls and waves in the hair. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-266920 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] The above-mentioned conventional hair styling tools require, when pulling a bundle of hair, force to pinch the bundle of hair in addition to the force to pull it, which necessitates multiple amounts of force to be applied, making operation difficult.
[0005] The present invention seeks to solve the problems associated with such conventional configurations, and aims to realize a hair styling tool that allows hair to be straightened primarily by adjusting the pulling force when pulling a strand of hair. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The hair styling tool of the present invention is characterized in that it has a first comb-tooth portion on one longitudinal side of a main body, which is arranged in a row along the longitudinal direction and stands upright in the height direction of the main body, and a grip portion on the other longitudinal side of the main body, and a rod-shaped hair parting portion is provided on the base side of the first comb-tooth portion via a slit through which a strand of hair enters from one longitudinal end side of the main body, and second comb-tooth portions are provided near the base of the first comb-tooth portion, which are arranged in a row along the longitudinal direction of the main body and stand upright on both sides in the width direction of the main body.
[0007] In addition, the hair styling tool of the present invention may be provided with a raised ridge portion at the lower end of the first comb tooth portion in the height direction of the main body, which is convexly raised and has ridges extending in the length direction of the main body, and the cross section of the hair parting portion may be configured to be circular or elliptical.
[0008] Furthermore, the hair styling tool of the present invention may be configured so that the surfaces on which the teeth of the second comb tooth portion are erected and the surfaces of the raised ridge portion that extend in the width direction of the main body each intersect to form an edge that extends in the length direction of the main body. Effect of the Invention
[0009] In the hair styling tool of the present invention, the rod-shaped hair dividing portion is provided on the base side of the first comb tooth portion, via a slit through which the hair strand enters from one end side of the longitudinal direction of the main body, and the second comb tooth portions are provided near the base of the first comb tooth portion, arranged in a row in the longitudinal direction of the main body and erected on both sides of the width direction of the main body. Therefore, when the tip of the hair dividing portion is inserted into the hair with the tip of the first comb tooth portion facing upwards, and the separated hair strand enters the slit, the first comb tooth portion is rotated so that it tilts in the opposite direction to the direction in which the hair strand is combed, with the longitudinal direction of the main body as the rotation axis, the hair strand is taken up by the rod-shaped hair dividing portion, while the second comb tooth portion captures the hair strand, and the first comb tooth portion is inserted into the hair strand. When the hair bundle is combed while maintaining this state, resistance is generated in each of the first comb tooth portion, the second comb tooth portion, and the hair parting portion, and the hair bundle can be pulled and stretched while combing, so the hair styling tool of the present invention is easy to use because it allows hair to be stretched mainly by the pulling force. In other words, when the resistance when pulling the hair bundle is strong, the pulling force is weakened and combed slowly, and conversely, when the resistance is weak, the pulling force is strengthened and combed relatively quickly, so that the resistance when pulling the hair can be easily adjusted. Therefore, it is possible to straighten the curls and waves of the hair while minimizing unnecessary damage and breakage of the hair. In addition, since the second comb tooth portion rotates the main body to capture the hair bundle, it also has the effect of preventing the hair bundle that has been separated and entered the slit from coming off the slit. In addition, when the hair bundle enters the slit, the thickness of the hair bundle is compressed to become a thin and uniform band, so that the second comb tooth portion can sufficiently capture the hair bundle by rotating the main body.
[0010] Furthermore, in the hair styling tool of the present invention, if a raised ridge portion is provided at the lower end of the first comb tooth portion in the height direction of the main body, which is convexly raised and has ridges extending in the length direction of the main body, and the cross section of the hair parting portion is configured to be circular or elliptical, the hair strand will be pinched at points in the slits, generating resistance when combing the hair strand, which contributes to pulling the hair.
[0011] Furthermore, if the hair styling tool of the present invention is configured such that the surface on which the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion are erected and the surfaces of the raised ridge portion that extend in the width direction of the main body intersect to form an edge that extends in the length direction of the main body, then when the first comb-tooth portion is rotated so as to tilt in the opposite direction to the direction in which the hair bundle is combed, with the length direction of the main body as the rotation axis, the edge on one side will contact the hair bundle in a line that crosses the hair bundle, and when the hair bundle is thinned into a band-like shape by the slit, the hair bundle is pressed against the edge of the edge on one side, further thinning the hair bundle, and when the hair bundle is combed with the first comb-tooth portion in this state, not only will the waves and curls of the hair bundle be straightened out, but the surface of the hair bundle will also be smoothed out, which is expected to have the effect of making the hair more lustrous. [0013] The hair styling tool of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0014] As shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the hair styling tool A of the present invention has a first comb-tooth portion 1 arranged in a row in the longitudinal direction of the main body on one side thereof in the longitudinal direction and standing in the height direction of the main body, and a grip portion 6 on the other side thereof in the longitudinal direction.
[0015] 1, the gaps between the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 narrow from the tip to the base, so that the tips can easily penetrate the hair and the hair can be pinched between the gaps between the teeth near the base. This creates resistance when combing the hair, and the hair can be pulled and straightened while combing, which has the effect of straightening out curls and waves in the hair.
[0016] As shown in the enlarged view of Fig. 2, the cross-sectional shape of each of the first comb-tooth portion 1 near the base of the teeth is such that the center in the width direction of the main body protrudes convexly to one side and the other side in the length direction of the main body. In other words, the cross-sectional shape of the first comb-tooth portion 1 near the base of the teeth is substantially cross-shaped. Therefore, the hair is pinched at points in the gaps between the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1, increasing resistance, and the hair can be firmly pulled and straightened.
[0017] As shown in Figs. 1 to 3 and 5, the hair styling tool A of the present invention has a rod-shaped hair dividing section 4 provided on the base side of the first comb teeth portion 1 via a slit 5 through which a strand of hair H enters from one end side in the longitudinal direction of the main body. The hair dividing section 4 is tapered from the center in the longitudinal direction of the main body toward one side. The gap width of the slit 5 is set to about 1 mm, and the length of the slit 5 in the longitudinal direction of the main body is set by aligning the base end of the first comb teeth portion 1 and the base end of the hair dividing section 4 in the longitudinal direction of the main body. In other words, the end of the slit 5 at the center side in the longitudinal direction of the main body is made to be approximately the same as the length of the first comb teeth portion 1 in the longitudinal direction of the main body.
[0018] 4 shows a cross section of the first comb-tooth portion 1 and the hair parting portion 4, and a raised ridge portion 13 that is raised in a convex shape and has ridges extending in the length direction of the main body is provided at the lower end of the first comb-tooth portion 1 in the height direction of the main body, and the cross section of the hair parting portion 4 is circular or elliptical. Therefore, the hair bundle is pinched at points in the slits 5, and resistance is generated when the hair bundle is combed, which contributes to pulling the hair.
[0019] As shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the hair styling tool A of the present invention has second comb-tooth portions 2 arranged in a row in the length direction of the main body near the base of the first comb-tooth portion 1 and erected on both sides in the width direction of the main body.
[0020] Regarding how to use the hair styling tool A of the present invention, as shown in Fig. 5, Fig. 6 and Fig. 9, first, with the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 facing upward, the tip of the hair-parting portion 4 is inserted into the hair to allow the separated hair bundle H to enter the slit 5. Next, as shown in Fig. 7 and Fig. 10, the first comb-tooth portion 1 is rotated so as to tilt in the opposite direction to the direction of combing the hair bundle H with the length direction of the main body as the rotation axis, and the hair bundle H is wound up by the rod-shaped hair-parting portion 4. At this time, the second comb-tooth portion 2 on one side catches the hair bundle H, and the first comb-tooth portion 1 is in a state of being inserted into the hair bundle H. Next, while maintaining this state, the hair bundle H is combed as shown in Fig. 8 and Fig. 11. At this time, resistance is generated in the first comb-tooth portion 1, the second comb-tooth portion 2 on one side, and the hair-parting portion 4, respectively, and the hair bundle H can be combed while being pulled and stretched.
[0021] Conventional hair styling tools use tongs to pinch the hair bundle and pull it while generating resistance, but the force used to pinch the hair bundle and the force used to pull it must be adjusted, making operation difficult. However, the hair styling tool A of the present invention makes it possible to straighten hair mainly by adjusting the pulling force, making it easy to use. For example, if the resistance when pulling the hair bundle H is strong, you can comb the hair slowly while weakening the pulling force, and conversely, if the resistance is weak, you can comb the hair relatively quickly by strengthening the pulling force, making it easy to adjust the resistance generated when pulling the hair. Therefore, it is possible to straighten curls and waves in the hair while minimizing unnecessary damage and breakage to the hair.
[0022] In addition, when rotating the main body shown in Figures 7 and 10 described above, it is also possible to adjust the resistance force when pulling the hair bundle H depending on the degree of rotation. As shown in Figure 12, after inserting the tip of the hair dividing part 4 into the hair and allowing the separated hair bundle H to enter the slit 5, the main body is rotated so that the first comb tooth part 1 is tilted in the opposite direction to the direction in which the hair bundle H is combed, so that the hair bundle H is taken up by the hair dividing part 4, and the second comb tooth part 2 on one side captures the hair bundle H and the first comb tooth part 1 is inserted into the hair bundle H. If the main body is further rotated in the same direction and the second comb tooth part 2 on the other side also captures the hair bundle H, an even stronger resistance force is generated and the hair bundle H can be firmly pulled and stretched. Conversely, it is also possible to weaken the resistance by reducing the degree of rotation of the main body. As shown in FIG. 13, after the hair bundle H is wound around the hair parting section 4 as described above, the first comb tooth section 1 does not penetrate the hair bundle H, and the hair bundle H is captured only by the second comb tooth section 2 on one side and combed.
[0023] 1, the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion 2 may be provided between the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 in the longitudinal direction of the main body. In that case, when the main body is rotated as described above so that the second comb-tooth portion 2 and the first comb-tooth portion 1 capture the hair bundle H and comb the hair bundle H to the end, the hairs of the hair bundle H are pressed against both sides of the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion 2 and the first comb-tooth portion 1 in the longitudinal direction of the main body, and the resistance force can be increased accordingly to pull the hair.
[0024] The second comb-tooth portion 2 firmly grips the hair bundle H when the main body is rotated as described above, and therefore also has the effect of preventing the hair bundle H that has been separated and entered into the slit 5 from escaping from the slit 5. However, in order to prevent the second comb-tooth portion 2 from gripping the hair bundle H and making it difficult for the hair bundle H to enter the slit 5 when the hair bundle H enters the slit 5 as much as possible, the height of the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion 2 is set lower than the height of the first comb-tooth portion 1 as can be seen from FIG. 4. If the height of the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion 2 is set lower, it is possible that the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion 2 may fail to grip the hair bundle H when the main body is rotated, causing some hair to be detached. However, as described above, the gap width of the slit 5 is set to about 1 mm, and when the hair bundle H enters the slit 5, the thickness of the bundle of hair bundle H is compressed to become a thin and uniform band-like shape as shown in FIG. 5, so that the second comb-tooth portion 2 can adequately grip the hair bundle H by rotating the main body as described above.
[0025] 2 and 4, small grooves 12 are provided between each tooth of the first comb tooth portion 1 in the width direction of the main body from the base of the first comb tooth portion 1 to the base of the second comb tooth portion 2. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 10, when the main body is rotated as described above and the second comb tooth portion 2 captures the hair bundle H, the hair bundle H enters deeper between each base of the second comb tooth portion 2. Therefore, the height of the teeth of the second comb tooth portion 2 can be set lower than when the small grooves 12 are not provided, and the problem of the second comb tooth portion 2 preventing the hair bundle H from entering the slit 5 as described above can be further prevented.
[0026] Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4, the surface on which the teeth of the second comb-tooth portion 2 are erected and the surface of the raised ridge portion 13 that extends in the width direction of the main body intersect with each other to form an edge 14 that extends in the length direction of the main body. Therefore, when the main body is rotated as described above as shown in Fig. 10, the edge 14 on one side comes into contact with the hair bundle H at a line that crosses the hair bundle H, and as described above, when the hair bundle H is in a thin, band-like state at the slit 5, the hair bundle H is pressed against the edge of the edge 14 on one side, further thinning the hair bundle H, and when combing the hair with the first comb-tooth portion 1 in this state, not only does it straighten out the wavy or curly hair of the hair bundle H, but it is also expected to have the effect of making the surface of the hair bundle H even more lustrous.
[0027] 1 to 3, in the hair styling tool A of the present invention, on one side in the longitudinal direction of the main body, the tip of the hair dividing portion 4 is configured to protrude further than the tip of the first comb tooth portion 1. Therefore, when the tip of the hair dividing portion 4 is inserted into the hair with the teeth of the first comb tooth portion 1 facing upward, it is possible to prevent the hair from hitting the first comb tooth portion 1 and making it difficult for the hair bundle H to enter the slit 5.
[0028] As shown in FIG. 1, a hair-splitting protrusion 11 is provided at the tip of the first comb-tooth portion 1 on one side in the length direction of the main body. The hair-splitting portion 4 is used to separate hair, and as described above, it is used to capture the hair bundle H and enter the slit 5. The hair-splitting protrusion 11 can also be used to separate hair, and is shaped to allow the hair bundle H to easily enter the slit 5. That is, in the height direction of the main body, the tip of the hair-splitting protrusion 11 protrudes upward from the tip of the comb teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1, and the distance between the tip of the tooth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 closest to the hair-splitting protrusion 11 and the tip of the hair-splitting protrusion 11 is made larger than the distance between the tips of the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 in the length direction of the main body. Therefore, when the tips of the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 are directed toward the hair to separate hair with the hair-splitting protrusion 11, the tips of the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1 do not come into contact with the scalp as much as possible, and the tips of the hair-splitting protrusion 11 are easily able to come into contact with the scalp, making it easy to separate hair. In addition, when viewed from the side in the width direction of the main body, the hair dividing protrusion 11 protrudes diagonally toward one side and upward in the length direction of the main body, and the shape of the hair dividing protrusion 11 near its base end is such that the corner where the protruding direction of the hair dividing protrusion 11 intersects with the length direction of the main body is rounded, making it easy for hair strand H to enter even the narrow slit 5, which has a gap width set to about 1 mm.
[0029] In addition, since the hair dividing portion 4 protrudes to one side in the length direction of the main body and the hair dividing protrusion 11 protrudes upward in the height direction of the main body, when dividing hair from front to back, the gripping portion 6 is held so that the tips of the first comb teeth portion 1 face upward and the tip of the hair dividing portion 4 faces the human head, and the tip of the hair dividing portion 4 is moved backward while being placed against the scalp at the front of the human head, thereby dividing hair from front to back. On the other hand, when dividing hair from back to front, the hair dividing protrusion 11 is used. That is, the hair can be divided from back to front by holding the gripping portion 6 so that the tips of the first comb teeth portion 1 face downward and the tip of the hair dividing protrusion 11 faces the human head, and moving the gripping portion 6 forward while being placed against the scalp at the rear of the human head. Generally, the hair dividing portion 4 protrudes in the length direction of the main body, and is therefore suitable for dividing hair in the front part of the human head, while the hair dividing protrusion 11 protrudes in the height direction of the main body, and is therefore suitable for dividing hair in the rear part of the human head, and is therefore easy to use.
[0030] Furthermore, in the hair styling tool A of the present invention, the third comb-tooth portion 3 is provided in a row in the longitudinal direction of the main body on the grip portion 6, the spacing between the teeth of the third comb-tooth portion 3 is greater than the spacing between the teeth of the first comb-tooth portion 1, and the angle of the third comb-tooth portion 3 as viewed in the width direction of the main body is inclined toward the center of the longitudinal direction of the main body. In this case, when pulling the hair bundle H with the first comb-tooth portion 1, the second comb-tooth portion 2, and the hair parting portion 4, if the hair is badly tangled, the resistance when pulling may be too strong to comb the hair, and pulling too hard may cause the hair to be unnecessarily damaged or cut. Therefore, if the third comb-tooth portion 3 with coarse teeth and a larger spacing between the teeth than the first comb-tooth portion 1 is first used to untangle the hair, and then the hair bundle H is pulled and stretched with the first comb-tooth portion 1, the second comb-tooth portion 2, and the hair parting portion 4, the force with which the hair bundle H is pulled can be more easily adjusted.
[0031] When using the hair styling tool A of the present invention, the hair bundle H can be stretched straight as shown in FIG. 8, so that it becomes easier to effectively apply heat from a hair dryer or hair iron to the hair bundle H.
[0032] Conventionally, after separating a hair bundle, the hair bundle is held in one hand, the hair styling tool is held in the other hand, the hair bundle is combed to make it straight, and then a hair dryer is held in one hand to apply heat to the hair bundle. Therefore, when a new hair bundle is separated and dried, it is necessary to release the hair dryer from the hand, straighten the hair bundle, and then hold the hair dryer again. However, with the hair styling tool A of the present invention, the gripping part 6 is held in one hand, the hair bundle H is scooped up with the hair dividing part 4, the hair bundle H is inserted into the slit 5, and the main body is rotated as it is to wind the hair bundle H with the hair dividing part 4 and the second comb teeth part 2 and the first comb teeth part 1 capture the hair bundle H, so that the hair bundle H can be straightened by simply combing the hair bundle H to the end as shown in FIG. 8. That is, while holding the hair styling tool A of the present invention in one hand, the process of separating and straightening the hair bundle H can be repeated, and since the hair dryer held in the other hand can be used without letting go of it, different hair bundles can be separated and dried one after another, and as a result, the entire hair can be dried more quickly. When used in combination with a hair dryer in this way, even stubborn curls or waves can be straightened even further.
[0033] The material of the hair styling tool A of the present invention is not particularly limited, but the material itself, such as resin, metal, wood, or bamboo, can be processed or molded in a mold. [Explanation of symbols]
