Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to an electricity storage device mounted on a vehicle. [Background technology]
[0002] As a conventional electricity storage device, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2012-176751 (Patent Document 1) discloses a configuration in which three batteries (electricity storage modules) are housed inside an outer frame member whose interior is divided by T-shaped members. The outer frame member is connected to a frame forming member that forms the frame of the vehicle.
[0003] Specifically, the front end member of the outer frame member is connected to the extension side member, and a pair of side end members of the outer frame member are connected to a pair of side members. The rear end member of the outer frame member is connected to a rear cross member that forms the framework of the vehicle. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2012-176751 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] However, in the configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1, an opening is provided in the bottom of the outer frame member, which reduces the strength of the bottom, and there is a concern that impact resistance may also decrease.
[0006] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide an electricity storage device that can improve durability against impact. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] An energy storage device according to the present disclosure includes a plurality of energy storage modules, a pair of frame members extending along a first direction and arranged side by side in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction so that the plurality of energy storage modules are located therebetween, a plurality of cross members each connecting the pair of frame members so as to partition an area in which each of the plurality of energy storage modules is arranged, and a panel member covering the plurality of energy storage modules. The plurality of cross members extend along the second direction and are arranged side by side in the first direction. The panel member includes a plurality of panel components extending along the first direction and arranged side by side in the second direction.
[0008] According to the above configuration, multiple cross members are arranged to extend in a first direction, and multiple panel constituent members constituting the panel member are arranged to extend in a second direction, thereby increasing durability against impacts from either the first direction or the second direction.
[0009] In the power storage device according to the present disclosure, the panel components may include a first component and a second component adjacent to each other in the second direction. An end of the first component located on the second component side and an end of the second component located on the first component side may include abutting portions that abut against each other in a direction in which the power storage modules and the panel member are arranged. In this case, it is preferable that a gap between the first component and the second component is sealed by the abutting portion.
[0010] According to the above configuration, the gap between the first component and the second component is sealed by the abutment portion, thereby making it possible to prevent water from entering from the outside of the panel member into the energy storage module without using any other components.
[0011] In the energy storage device based on the present disclosure, it is preferable that a labyrinth structure is formed by the end of the first component member located on the second component member side and the end of the second component member located on the first component member side.
[0012] According to the above configuration, a labyrinth structure is formed by the end of the first component member and the end of the second component member, thereby further preventing water from entering from the road surface side to the electricity storage module side.
[0013] In the power storage device based on the present disclosure, the first component member and the second component member may be configured from the same type of material having the same shape.
[0014] According to the above-described configuration, the panel member can be formed using a reduced number of different parts, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
[0015] In the power storage device based on the present disclosure, the first component member and the second component member may be made of metal members having different thermal expansion coefficients.
[0016] Since thermal expansion of one side of the first component and the second component can be suppressed, the reaction force acting when the expanded parts bump into each other can be suppressed, and distortion of the two components can be suppressed.
[0017] In the power storage device based on the present disclosure, each of the plurality of panel components preferably has a closed cross section extending along the first direction.
[0018] According to the above configuration, when an impact is applied to the panel member, the closed cross section deforms, thereby making it possible to absorb the impact, thereby further improving the protection of the electricity storage module. Effect of the Invention
[0019] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide an energy storage device that can improve the energy density and enhance the protection of the energy storage module. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0060] In this manner, by fixing the cross member 21 and the fixing member 67, the panel member 60 is fixed to the cross member 21.
[0061] Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the electricity storage device taken along line VI-VI shown in Fig. 2. With reference to Fig. 6, details of panel component 61 will be described.
[0062] The panel component 61 has a first cylindrical portion 611, a second cylindrical portion 612, and a connecting portion 617. The first cylindrical portion 611 is located on one side in the second direction, and the second cylindrical portion 612 is located on the other side in the second direction. The first cylindrical portion 611 and the second cylindrical portion 612 extend along the first direction and form a closed cross section. The connecting portion 617 has a flat plate shape and connects the first cylindrical portion 611 and the second cylindrical portion 612.
[0063] The first cylindrical portion 611 includes an upper wall portion 611a, a bottom wall portion 611b, and a pair of side walls 613,614.
[0064] The upper wall portion 611a has a first portion 611a1 and a second portion 611a2. The first portion 611a1 and the second portion 611a2 have a flat plate shape. The second portion 611a2 is located on one side in the second direction than the first portion 611a1. The second portion 611a2 is located at a lower position than the first portion 611a1, and a step portion 611a3 is formed between the second portion 611a2 and the first portion 611a1. The step portion 611a3 is a portion that connects an end of the second portion 611a2 located on the other side in the second direction and an end of the first portion 611a1 located on one side in the second direction. The bottom wall portion 611b has a flat plate shape.
[0065] The side wall portion 613 is a portion of the upper wall portion 611a and the bottom wall portion 611b located on one side in the second direction. The ends are connected to each other. The side wall portion 613 extends in a direction parallel to the height direction (up and down direction). The side wall portion 613 is provided with a first extending portion 6131 and a second extending portion 6132.
[0066] The first extension portion 6131 extends toward one side in the second direction from the upper end of the side wall portion 613. The second extension portion 6132 extends toward one side in the second direction from between the upper and lower ends of the side wall portion 613. The second extension portion 6132 is provided so as to protrude further toward one side in the second direction than the first extension portion 6131.
[0067] The side wall portion 613, the first extending portion 6131, and the second extending portion 6132 form an end portion of the panel component 61 located on one side in the second direction.
[0068] The side wall portion 614 connects ends of the top wall portion 611a and the bottom wall portion 611b located on the other side in the second direction. The side wall portion 614 is inclined upward as it approaches the other side in the first direction.
[0069] The second cylindrical portion 612 includes an upper wall portion 612a, a bottom wall portion 612b, and a pair of side walls 615 and 616.
[0070] The upper wall portion 612a has a flat plate shape. The upper wall portion 612a is configured to be flush with the first portion 611a1. The upper wall portion 612a is provided at the same height as the first portion 611a1. The bottom wall portion 612b has a flat plate shape. The bottom wall portion 612b is provided at the same height as the bottom wall portion 611b. An end portion of the bottom wall portion 612b located on the other side in the second direction is located on one side in the second direction with respect to an end portion of the upper wall portion 612a located on the other side in the second direction.
[0071] The side wall portion 615 connects the ends of the top wall portion 612a and the bottom wall portion 612b located on the other side in the second direction. The side wall portion 615 has, for example, a crank shape. The side wall portion 615 is provided with a receiving portion that receives the second extension portion 6132. The receiving portion is configured by a recess that is provided in the side wall portion 615 and recessed toward one side in the second direction. The side wall portion 615 is provided with a third extension portion 6151 and a fourth extension portion 6152.
[0072] The third extension portion 6151 extends toward the other side in the second direction from the upper end of the side wall portion 615. The fourth extension portion 6152 extends toward the other side in the second direction from between the lower end of the side wall portion 6155. The third extension portion 6151 is provided so as to protrude further toward the other side in the second direction than the fourth extension portion 6152.
[0073] The side wall portion 615, the third extending portion 6151, and the fourth extending portion 6152 form an end portion of the panel component 61 located on the other side in the second direction.
[0074] The side wall portion 616 connects ends of the top wall portion 611a and the bottom wall portion 611b located on one side in the second direction. The side wall portion 616 is inclined upward as it approaches one side in the second direction.
[0075] The fastening member 70 passes through the connection portion 617, and the panel constituent member 61 is fixed to the fixing member 67 at the connection portion 617. As described above, by having the side wall portion 614 and the side wall portion 616 tapered, a large working space can be secured, and the workability of the fastening work can be improved.
[0076] In this embodiment, the first component 62 and the second component 63 have the same shape as the panel component 61 described above. The component member 63 is made of the same kind of metal material, such as aluminum, etc. The first component member 62 and the second component member 63 are preferably formed by extrusion molding.
[0077] As described above, by constructing the first component 62 and the second component 63 from the same type of material having the same shape, the panel member can be formed with a reduced number of types of parts, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. Also, when the first component 62 and the second component 63 are made of aluminum, they can be easily extruded and the weight can be reduced.
[0078] Fig. 7 is an enlarged view showing an area indicated by line VII in Fig. 6. With reference to Fig. 7, an installation mode of a first component member 62 and a second component member 63 adjacent to each other in the second direction will be described.
[0079] As shown in Figure 7, the end of the first component member 62 located on the second component member 63 and the end of the second component member 63 located on the first component member 62 side include abutment portions that abut against each other in the vertical direction, and the gap between the first component member 62 and the second component member 63 is sealed by the abutment portions.
[0080] Specifically, the first component member 62 and the second component member 63 have side wall portions 613 and 615 facing each other in the second direction, and a first extension portion 6131 provided on the side wall portion 613 and a third extension portion 6151 provided on the side wall portion 615 abut against each other in the vertical direction, thereby sealing the gap between the first component member 62 and the second component member 63. The first extension portion 6131 and the third extension portion 6151 correspond to the above-mentioned abutment portion. In this manner, the gap between the first component member 62 and the second component member 63 is sealed, thereby making it possible to suppress the intrusion of water from the road surface side to the electricity storage module 10 side.
[0081] Furthermore, the end of the first component member 62 located on the second component member 63 and the end of the second component member 63 located on the first component member 62 side form a labyrinth structure.
[0082] Specifically, a labyrinth structure is formed by inserting the tip side of second extension portion 6132 provided on side wall portion 613 between the recess formed in side wall portion 615 and fourth extension portion 6152. This makes it possible to further suppress the intrusion of water from the road surface side to the electricity storage module side.
[0083] Since thermal expansion of one side of the first component and the second component can be suppressed, the reaction force acting when the expanded parts bump into each other can be suppressed, and distortion of the two components can be suppressed.
[0084] As described above, in the energy storage device 1 of this embodiment, multiple cross members are arranged to extend in a first direction, and multiple panel components constituting the panel member are arranged to extend in a second direction, thereby making it possible to increase durability against impacts from either the first direction or the second direction.
[0085] Furthermore, a plurality of cross members 21 are arranged side by side in the second direction so as to connect a pair of frame members 25, 26 extending along the first direction, and the energy storage modules 10 can be arranged between adjacent cross members 21. This allows the plurality of energy storage modules 10 to be arranged with the same orientation, and also improves the mounting efficiency of the energy storage modules 10. As a result, the energy density can also be improved.
[0086] Furthermore, as described above, by placing the panel member 60 below the multiple energy storage modules 10 and covering the multiple energy storage modules 10 from below with the panel member 60, it is possible to prevent the multiple energy storage modules 10 from directly interfering with the road surface.
[0087] Furthermore, in the case where the panel component 61 has a closed cross section extending along the first direction, for example, when an impact is input to the panel component 60 from a road surface or the like, the closed cross section deforms to absorb the impact. This can further enhance the protection of the electricity storage module 10.
[0088] In the above embodiment, the first component 62 and the second component 63 are made of the same type of material having the same shape, but the first component 62 and the second component 63 may be made of metal materials with different thermal expansion coefficients. In this case, the strength is maintained by making them of metal materials, and thermal expansion of one side of the first component 62 and the second component 63 can be suppressed. Therefore, the reaction force acting when the expanded parts butt against each other can be suppressed, and distortion of each other can be suppressed.

The other configurations are substantially the same.
[0091] The protruding portion 618 protrudes toward the other side in the second direction from an end of the bottom wall portion 611b located on the other side in the second direction. The protruding portion 619 protrudes toward one side in the second direction from the bottom wall portion 612b located on one side in the second direction. A gap is formed between the protruding portions 618 and 619, into which the fastening member 70 can be inserted.
[0092] Even when configured in this manner, the power storage device 1A according to the second embodiment can achieve substantially the same effects as those of the first embodiment.
[0093] Furthermore, the provision of the protrusions 618, 619 can prevent foreign objects from interfering with the fastening member 70 from the road surface side and prevent water from entering the fastening portion.
[0094] (Embodiment 3) Fig. 9 is a partial cross-sectional view of an electricity storage device according to embodiment 3. With reference to Fig. 9, an electricity storage device 1B according to embodiment 3 will be described.
[0095] 9, an energy storage device 1B according to embodiment 3 differs from the energy storage device 1 according to embodiment 1 in the configuration of a panel member 60B. The other configurations are substantially the same.
[0096] The panel member 60B includes a plurality of first panel constituent members 62B and a second panel constituent member 63B. The second panel constituent member 63B has, for example, a substantially flat plate shape.
[0097] The multiple first panel components 62B are arranged side by side at intervals in the second direction. The first panel components 62B are provided so as to extend in the first direction. The first panel components 62B are fixed to the second panel components 63B.
[0098] The first panel component 62B has a generally U-shaped main body 621B and flanges 622B and 623B. The flange 622B extends from an upper end of the main body 621B located on one side in the second direction toward one side in the second direction. The flange 623B extends from an upper end of the main body 621B located on the other side in the second direction toward the other side in the second direction.
[0099] The flange portions 622B, 623B are fixed to the second panel component member 63B by welding or fastening members, etc. In this way, the plurality of first panel component members 62B are fixed to the second panel component member 63B.
[0100] Even when configured as described above, the energy storage device 1B of embodiment 3 achieves substantially the same effect as embodiment 1 by arranging multiple first panel components 62B extending in the first direction side by side in the second direction.
[0101] In the above-mentioned first to third embodiments, the case where the panel member covers the multiple power storage modules from below has been described as an example, but the position of the panel member is not limited to below the multiple power storage modules. As long as it is possible to cover the panel member (to be arranged alongside the panel member), the panel member may be located above the multiple power storage modules or to the side of the multiple power storage modules.
[0102] The embodiments disclosed herein are illustrative and not restrictive in all respects. The scope of the present invention is defined by the claims, and includes all modifications within the meaning and scope of the claims. [Explanation of symbols]
