Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a tray cart.
Background Art
[0002] As a tray cart capable of storing and transporting trays loaded with food or the like in multiple stages, for example, a shelf body disclosed in Patent Document 1 is known. This shelf body includes vertical frame portions arranged front and rear, and tray support portions are erected in multiple stages on both the left and right sides of the front and rear vertical frame portions. Casters are provided at the lower part of the shelf body, and the shelf body can be moved with both ends of the tray loaded with food supported by the left and right tray support portions respectively.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In the above conventional shelf storage device, since each tray support portion is individually fixed to the front and rear vertical frame portions by welding or the like, there is a problem that the manufacturing work is complicated and likely to be costly. Furthermore, there is a risk of variations in strength and the like for each tray support portion.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a tray cart that can reliably support trays supported in multiple stages with a simple configuration.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] The object of the present invention is achieved by a trolley for a tray, which comprises a pair of side plates facing each other, an upper connecting member connecting the upper parts of the pair of side plates, a lower connecting member connecting the lower parts of the pair of side plates, and a plurality of wheels provided on the lower connecting member. A plurality of tray support portions for respectively supporting both side edges of a tray inserted from the front to the rear between the pair of side plates are formed at intervals in the vertical direction. The tray support portions are formed in a strip plate shape extending horizontally in the front-rear direction by cutting a part of the side plates and bending them inward.
[0007] In this tray trolley, it is preferable that the front edge portions of the pair of side plates are bent outward, and it is preferable that the rear edge portions of the pair of side plates are bent inward.
Advantages of the Invention
[0008] According to the tray trolley of the present invention, a tray supported in multiple stages can be reliably supported with a simple configuration.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0010] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a front view of a tray cart according to an embodiment of the present invention. Further, FIG. 2 is a side view of the tray cart shown in FIG. 1. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the tray cart 1 includes a pair of side plates 10 and 20 arranged to face each other at intervals in the horizontal direction, an upper connecting member 30 connecting the upper portions of the pair of side plates 10 and 20, a lower connecting member 40 connecting the lower portions of the pair of side plates 10 and 20, and a plurality (four in this embodiment) of wheels 50 provided on the lower connecting member 40.
[0011] The pair of side plates 10 and 20 are formed in a rectangular flat plate shape, and a plurality of tray support portions 11 and 21 and window portions 15 and 25 formed by folding up are provided at arbitrary intervals in the vertical direction. The material of the pair of side plates 10 and 20 is not particularly limited, but can be manufactured from a material that can be bent (such as a steel plate or resin). Handles 14 and 24 used when moving the tray cart 1 are provided at the front portions of the pair of side plates 10 and 20.
[0012] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an exploded view of the main part of the tray cart 1 shown in FIG. 1. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the front edge portions 12 and 22 of the pair of side plates 10 and 20 are bent 90 degrees outward, and the front end portions 12a and 22a of the front edge portions 12 and 22 are further bent 90 degrees in the same direction as the bending direction of the front edge portions 12 and 22.
[0013] The rear edge portions 13 and 23 of the pair of side plates 10 and 20 are bent 90 degrees inward, and the rear end portions 13a and 23a of the rear edge portions 13 and 23 are bent 90 degrees in the direction opposite to the bending direction of the rear edge portions 13 and 23. The upper edge portions 16 and 26 and the lower edge portions 17 and 27 of the pair of side plates 10 and 20 are both bent inward so as to be horizontal.
[0014] The upper connecting member 30 and the lower connecting member 40 are both formed in an N-shape in plan view. The parallel portions of the upper connecting member 30 are joined to the upper surfaces of the edge portions 16, 26, respectively, and the parallel portions of the lower connecting member 40 are joined to the lower surfaces of the lower edge portions 17, 27, respectively. The upper connecting member 30 and the lower connecting member 40 are preferably formed from the same material as the pair of side plates 10, 20, and are joined by welding or the like over the entire front-rear direction of the pair of side plates 10, 20. The upper connecting member 30 and the lower connecting member 40 may have other shapes, such as a plate shape, a frame shape, or a rod shape, as long as they can reliably connect the pair of side plates 10, 20 to each other.
[0015] Fig. 5 is an enlarged view of the main part of Fig. 4. As shown in Fig. 5, the tray support part 11 formed on one side plate 10 is formed in the shape of a strip extending horizontally from front to back of the side plate 10 by cutting the window part 15 except for the upper edge part 15a by laser processing or the like and bending the upper edge part 15a inward by 90 degrees as shown by the arrow. The tray support part 21 of the other side plate 20 is formed in the same manner as the tray support part 11 of the one side plate 10.
[0016] The tray cart 1 having the above-mentioned configuration can support trays in multiple tiers by inserting a tray loaded with food or the like from the front (front side) toward the rear and sliding both side edges of the tray along the tray support portions 11, 21 of each tier until the rear of the tray abuts against the rear edge portions 13, 23 of the pair of side plates 10, 20, and in this state the tray cart 1 can be moved so that the entire tray cart can be taken in or out of a freezer, cooking cabinet, etc.
[0017] In the tray cart 1 of this embodiment, the multiple tray support portions 11, 21 provided on a pair of side plates 10, 20 are formed by cutting out parts of the side plates 10, 20 and bending them inward, so there is no need to provide individual tray support portions as in conventional tray carts, and the tray cart can be manufactured easily and simply.
[0018] In addition, since the tray support portions 11, 21 are formed as strips extending horizontally in front of and behind the pair of side plates 10, 20, both side edges of the tray can be supported by surface bearings, thereby increasing the load-bearing capacity and reliably supporting the tray.
[0019] The front-to-rear length L1 of the tray support parts 11, 21 shown in FIG. 3 is not particularly limited as long as it is a length that can securely support both side edges of the tray T shown by the dashed lines by receiving them, but it is preferable that it be 50% or more of the front-to-rear length L2 of the tray T, and more preferably 80% or more.
[0020] In addition, the tray cart 1 has front edge portions 12, 22 of the pair of side plates 10, 20 bent outward, and rear edge portions 13, 23 of the pair of side plates 10, 20 bent inward, so that the rear edge portions 13, 23 act as stoppers when the tray is inserted, while increasing the strength of the pair of side plates 10, 20 against twisting, etc., thereby more reliably supporting the tray.
