Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a member that is used by being brought into contact with the anus and enables defecation, and can reduce the spread of dirt on the anus and the natal cleft (hereinafter simply referred to as the "anal part") caused by feces and can be hygienically replaced.
Background Art
[0002] Conventional paper diapers are generally classified into pants type and wrap-around type, and many of them impregnate excrement with a water-absorbing polymer. On the other hand, instead of the water-absorbing polymer, there are inventions such as a method of guiding defecation to a storage part by sticking a feces discharge tube to the outer peripheral part of the anal part with an adhesive (see Patent Document 1), and a diaper with an excrement storage bag provided with an opening at a position where the genitals and the anus come into contact and having a feces storage bag and a urine storage bag (see Patent Document 2).
[0003] However, the pants type and wrap-around type diapers have the problem that the wearing and removing operations are troublesome. On the other hand, when using a feces discharge tube or the like, there is a risk of feces backflow, and a sense of discomfort may occur in the buttocks due to the presence of the feces discharge tube during wearing. Furthermore, in the case of a diaper with an excrement storage bag, there are also problems such as the feces not being smoothly taken into the storage bag from the opening and spreading to the buttocks, resulting in unsanitary conditions, and the wearer feeling uncomfortable. In addition, as the super-aging society progresses, the waste of paper diapers using a water-absorbing polymer has been increasing year by year, imposing a burden on incineration facilities and the environment.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0014] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described. Note that these examples are merely examples shown for convenience of explanation, and the present invention is not limited to these examples in any sense.
[0015] Figure 1 is an overall plan view of the disposable diaper bag type diaper of the present invention, which is mainly composed of a bag-shaped main body portion (1) made of a sealed non-permeable film, a feces guiding member (2) formed near the center of the main body portion, and a fixing adhesive portion (3).
[0016] The main body portion (1) has a sealable bag-like structure made of a non-permeable film having an inner surface (1a) that touches the human skin, an outer surface (1b) on the back side thereof, and a storage portion (1c), and mainly receives and stores feces.
[0017] As the material, polyethylene, polypropylene, and other polymer materials can be preferably used, but materials that can be naturally decomposed, such as water-repellent processed paper and biodegradable plastics, can also be utilized.
[0018] When the wearer is a carrier of infectious bacteria and requires hygienic management of dangerous excrement, the entire main body portion (1) can be specially colored or a handling caution indication can be attached to prevent safety issues and misrecognition during final disposal after use.
[0019] The outer peripheral contour shape of the main body portion (1) is most preferably rectangular because it is the easiest to obtain and does not generate waste loss during production.
[0020] Since the amount of feces discharged per adult per time is about 1 to 2 ordinary-sized bananas, the volume of the main body portion (1) is set to about 200 cc to 450 cc. In the case of a rectangular plastic film bag, the outer dimensions are approximately 300 mm in length and 230 mm in width as a guide, and can be made smaller or larger according to the amount of feces based on the wearer's physique and diet, and various care measures such as the urgency of care.
[0021] The inner surface (1a) is the surface that directly contacts the human body or skin. In the central part, a feces guiding member (2) is installed, and in the upper and side parts, fixing adhesive parts (3) are installed. The other parts are covered with a topsheet (6) with low skin irritation to improve the comfort and feel of the skin, and also reduce the burden on the skin.
[0022] The outer surface (1b) is on the back side of the inner surface (1a). In the central part of the outer surface (1b), at the position where the feces guiding member (2) on the inner surface (1a) is formed, a center mark (9) corresponding to the position of the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') in the adhesive surface (4) is displayed. By using this as a mark during wearing, the feces guiding member (2) can be accurately aligned with the anus of the wearer and pasted.
[0023] Figure 3 shows the bottom view of the bag - type diaper according to the present invention. By aligning the finger with the center mark (9) and pressing, the feces guiding member (2) can be accurately aimed at the anal part and pasted. Figure 10 shows the state of aligning the anus and the feces guiding member (2) when the bag - type diaper of the present invention is worn by the wearer.
[0024] The feces guiding member (2) is installed in the central part of the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1), has an adhesive surface (4) on the inner surface (1a), and is composed of a feces guiding linear cut (5) or a feces guiding hole (5') formed so as to penetrate the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1) from the adhesive surface (4), and a pickup part (7) located on the outer periphery of the adhesive surface (4) for easily peeling the adhesive surface from the skin of the wearer after using the bag - type diaper.
[0025] The feces guiding member (2) is installed near the central part of the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1). Its position is preferably at the almost central position divided both vertically and horizontally of the whole bag - type diaper of the present invention, considering the correspondence to the position of the anus for defecation, and the slight position deviation during wearing or while wearing the bag - type diaper.
[0026] The feces guiding member (2) serves as an opening for guiding feces to the main body (1) when the wearer of the bag-type diaper of the present invention defecates, and functions as a blocking portion for preventing the backflow of feces when defecation is completed.
[0027] Therefore, the feces guiding member (2) is attached to the anus and the natal cleft portion by the adhesive surface (4), and when defecating, the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') opens following the shape of the anus. Also, through the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') opened by the passing pressure of defecation, the feces are guided into the bag which is the accommodating portion (1c) of the main body (1). When defecation is over, the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') closes following the shape of the anus, preventing the backflow and spread of the feces in the accommodating portion (1c) (or the bag) to the buttocks.
[0028] As described above, the feces guiding member (2) has a structure that opens and closes following the shape of the opening and closing movement of the anus only during defecation. However, the dirt on the anus is basically only the opening gap of the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5'), so the dirt on the buttocks is very little, simplifying the care work.
[0029] Figure 9 is a diagram showing the opening and closing operation following the movement of the anus of such a feces guiding member (2).
[0030] (o) shows the state in which the bag-type diaper of the present invention is worn together with the hip line (11) and anus of the wearer. At this time, the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') is closed.
[0031] Next, (p) shows the state at the initial stage of the wearer's defecation start. At this time, feces start to come out, and the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') opens a little following the opening of the wearer's anus.
[0032] Subsequently, (q) shows the state during the wearer's defecation. At this time, feces are continuously discharged, the opening of the wearer's anus is maximized, and the opening of the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') also becomes larger.
[0033] Finally, (r) indicates the state where the wearer has finished defecating. At this time, the feces guiding linear incision (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') closes as it was originally, following the movement of the anus closing.
[0034] The operation of the above feces guiding linear incision (5) or feces guiding hole (5') following the opening and closing of the anus is due to the fact that the feces guiding member (2) of the present invention is designed to be attached to the wearer, particularly to the anus, with the adhesive surface (4).
[0035] The adhesive surface (4) is a base material made of a non - water - permeable film or an elastomer film with an adhesive laminated thereon. As the non - water - permeable film, the same one as the main body part (1) can be used. As the elastomer film, those formed by shaping stretchable natural or synthetic rubber into a sheet or film form can be used. In particular, natural rubber latex, aqueous or solvent - based polyurethane, polyisoprene, etc., which are excellent in stretchability, tensile strength, and safety, can be preferably used.
[0036] It is desirable that the adhesive part of the adhesive surface (4) is the entire adhesive surface. However, as long as it can follow the movement of the anus from the start to the end of the wearer's defecation, or can prevent the spread and contamination of feces around the anus during and after defecation, it does not necessarily have to be a part of the entire adhesive surface. For example, the center position of the feces guiding linear incision (5) or the vicinity of the pickup part (7) can be made non - adhesive.
[0037] The feces guiding linear incision (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') prevents the feces from being guided into the accommodating part (1c) of the main body part (1) of defecation and spreading to the buttocks.
[0038] Of course, the feces guiding linear incision (5) and the feces guiding hole (5') can be used in combination. For example, the feces guiding linear incision (5) can be provided on the outer periphery of the feces guiding hole (5').
[0039] Examples of specific forms of the feces guiding linear incision (5) are shown in (h) to (m) of FIG. 8. That is, there are X-shaped, radially linear incisions based on this, cross-shaped, and transverse lines based on this, each having a plurality of linear incisions. Among these, in particular, those without vertical incision lines, such as X-shaped ones, are preferable for reducing the spread of feces to the buttocks, genitals, and their surroundings during defecation.
[0040] Also, in the case of X-shaped, cross-shaped, or linear incisions based on them, where the incision lines of the feces guiding linear incision (5) radiate from its central part (such as in (h), (i), (j), etc.), a cut piece with a right-angled or acute-angled pointed shape is formed at the central part of the adhesive surface (4), and when this pierces the anus of the wearer, it may cause pain. In such a case, as shown in (k) or (l), by appropriately excising the pointed tip of the cut piece, for example, into a small or large circular shape or polygonal shape, it is possible to avoid such inconveniences as feeling pain.
[0041] On the one hand, by previously making a circular or polygonal hole in the central part of the feces guiding linear incision (5), it is possible to improve the user experience of the wearer and make defecation easier. In addition, it is possible to reduce the soiling of the vicinity of the central part of the feces guiding linear incision (5) due to defecation. Incidentally, when making a hole in the central part of the feces guiding linear incision (5) in this way, when removing the bag-type diaper after use, measures such as wiping the vicinity of the wearer's anus clean are required. However, even when not providing such a hole, almost the same measures are required, and it can be said that it is not a very inconvenient thing.
[0042] Also, by extending the feces guiding linear incision (5), it is possible to use it to receive urine. However, if necessary, measures such as shaving the body hair around the genitals and using a water-absorbing polymer or coagulant in the accommodating part (1c) of the main body part (1) in combination are required to prevent urine from leaking outside the diaper.
[0043] An example of a specific form of the feces guiding hole (5') is shown in (n) of FIG. 8. The feces guiding hole (5') is arranged approximately at the center of the adhesive surface (4) and has an opening in a circular, elliptical, or polygonal shape.
[0044] Although the entire adhesive surface (4) can be made of an elastomer film substrate, only a part of the central portion of the adhesive surface (4) can also be made of an elastomer film substrate. In either case, the elastomer film substrate is fixed to a water-impermeable film that is cut and opened according to the shape, size of the entire guiding member (2), or a part of the center of the guiding member (2) on the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1) by an adhesive or heat fusion treatment, so as to determine the position of the guiding hole (5') and install it.
[0045] The size and shape of the guiding member (2) can be freely determined within a range that fits near the center within the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1). First, in order to surely guide defecation to the accommodating portion (1c) of the main body (1) and not stain the wearer's buttocks, and then considering the feeling of use when wearing on the wearer's buttocks and anus, as well as the convenience of installing the fixing adhesive portion (3) and the top sheet (6), etc., it is necessary to make it within an optimal range and shape.
[0046] As an example, as shown in Fig. 8(h), the vertical and horizontal dimensions are approximately 100 mm to approximately 120 mm and approximately 70 mm to approximately 90 mm respectively, and a vertically long rectangle or an ellipse is desirable as the shape.
[0047] Also, the size of the guiding linear cut (5) is designed based on the case where the wearer's anus is maximally open. As an example, as also shown in Fig. 8(h), assuming the maximum diameter of the feces is about 35 mm, the vertical and horizontal lengths are preferably about 40 mm and about 35 mm respectively.
[0048] Furthermore, the diameter of the opening portion of the guiding hole (5') depends on the stretchability of the elastomer film of the substrate. However, since the maximum diameter of the feces is about 35 mm, it is desirable that it be less than that, and it is more desirable to be even smaller in order to reduce the spread of feces to the anus and its surroundings. Specifically, it is preferable that the diameter of the opening portion is about 30 mm or less, more preferably about 20 mm or less, and even more preferably about 15 mm or less.
[0049] The fixing adhesive part (3) serves to fix the bag - type diaper of the present invention by sticking it to the lower back near the wearer's buttocks or coccyx. As shown in FIG. 7, at least one fixing adhesive part (3) is installed on the inner surface (1a) around the urine - guiding member (2), on the outer side of the outer edge of the inner surface (1a), or both. In order to enhance the certainty and fixing force of fixing to the wearer's body, it is desirable to install a plurality of them.
[0050] When installing the fixing adhesive part (3) only on the inner surface (1a) around the urine - guiding member (2), it is advisable to install it continuously or at multiple divided locations on the left, right, or upper part of the urine - guiding member (2).
[0051] When installing the fixing adhesive part (3) on the outer side of the outer edge of the inner surface (1a), utilize the outer surface (1b) of the main body part (1) and stick a single - sided adhesive tape so that it partially protrudes outward from the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1). In this case, it is advisable to install it continuously or at multiple divided locations on the left, right, and upper part so as to surround the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1).
[0052] On the other hand, at the time of disposal after use, as shown in FIG. 5, when the diaper is folded from the center of the inner surface (1a) and the fixing adhesive parts (3) are bonded together, the urine - guiding member (2) of the diaper is further or doubly sealed and becomes a bag - like shape enclosing feces, which is convenient for disposal and the like.
[0053] The fixing adhesive part (3) can be formed by applying an adhesive to the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1), sticking a double - sided adhesive tape to the inner surface (1a), or sticking a single - sided adhesive tape to the outer surface (1b). In addition, according to the build of the wearer and the like, as shown in FIG. 7, the forming position, shape, and area can be appropriately changed.
[0054] Examples of the materials and adhesives used in each part of the adhesive surface (4) or the fixing adhesive part (5) of the present invention include, but are not limited to, urethane gel, rubber - based adhesives, acrylic - based adhesives, silicone - based adhesives, and hydrocolloids.
[0055] The top sheet (6) covers the portion of the inner surface (1a) that directly contacts the skin, excluding the feces guiding member (2) and the fixing adhesive portion (5), has low irritation to the skin, and has liquid permeability such as water, improving the comfort of the wearer.
[0056] Examples of the material for such a top sheet (6) include non-woven fabric, woven fabric, mesh sheet, paper, and plastic film formed with liquid permeation holes. Examples of the constituent material of the fiber for forming the non-woven fabric or woven fabric of the top sheet material include polyolefin, polyester, nylon, cellulose, rayon, and cotton. Examples of polyolefin include polypropylene and polyethylene. Examples of polyester include polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate. Further, the fiber for forming the non-woven fabric or woven fabric of the top sheet material is preferably a hydrophilic fiber or a hydrophobic fiber whose surface is hydrophilized by surface treatment with a surfactant.
[0057] The pickup portion (7) abuts on the outer periphery of the adhesive surface (4) of the feces guiding member (2) with a predetermined width in a non-adhesive state against the main body portion (1). The pickup portion (7) is not coated with an adhesive, and when the bag-type diaper of the present invention is removed after use, the feces guiding member (2) can be easily peeled from the body of the wearer from this pickup portion (7). This prevents the skin of the wearer from being easily damaged when the adhesive surface (4) is forcibly peeled with a fingertip or the like.
[0058] The pickup part (7) is made of a flexible material. Examples of the flexible material for the pickup part (7) include paper materials, rubber-based materials, sponge materials, and resin materials other than these. As the paper material, those having a certain degree of flexibility and water resistance can be preferably used. Examples of the rubber-based materials include silicone rubber, chloroprene rubber, urethane rubber, and ethylene propylene rubber. Examples of the sponge materials include cellulose sponge, polyurethane sponge, and melamine sponge. Examples of the above resin materials include silicone resin, polyurethane resin, and soft vinyl chloride.
[0059] The pickup part (7) needs to have a predetermined width and thickness. The width may be about 2 mm to about 5 mm, and a width of about 3 mm is preferable. As for the thickness, it is better to be as thin as possible so that the wearer does not feel discomfort when wearing. The shape of the pickup part (7) may be continuous or discontinuous, and the width may or may not be constant. It is important to devise it so that the guiding member (2) can be peeled off as easily as possible.
[0060] The release paper (8) is used to cover the adhesive surface (4) and the surface of the fixing adhesive part (5) when storing the bag-type diaper of the present invention, and plays a role in preventing the deterioration and contamination of the adhesive surface and the adhesive part, and when using, it is peeled off and attached or fixed to the wearer's body.
[0061] The string or belt-like body (10) is attached to the outer peripheral part of the main body part (1) as needed to assist in fixing the bag-type diaper of the present invention to the wearer's body, and plays a role in preventing the diaper from shifting or partially peeling off when the wearer wearing the bag-type diaper moves the body.
[0062] The string or belt-like body (10) can be tied together at their respective free ends, or an adhesive part can be formed at the free ends and attached and fixed to each other or to the wearer's body, or the free ends can be used as a hook-and-loop fastener (pile and hook) and overlapped and fixed to each other.
[0063] The bag-type diaper of the present invention can be manufactured relatively easily by installing or forming a feces guiding member (2), a fixing adhesive portion (3), and a top sheet (6) of the skin contact portion on the inner surface (1a) of the main body portion (1).
[0064] In this case, there is a method of manufacturing by attaching the feces guiding member (2), the fixing adhesive portion (3), and the top sheet (6) prepared separately in advance to a predetermined position of the main body portion (1).
[0065] As another manufacturing method, first, an adhesive is applied in advance to the entire inner surface (1a) of the main body portion (1), then the top sheet (6) cut into the shape of the portion that directly touches the human skin is pasted, and then the pickup portion for the feces guiding member (2), the release paper for the adhesive surface of the feces guiding member (2), and the fixing adhesive portion are adhesively fixed to predetermined positions respectively, so that it can be manufactured even more easily. That is, in the case of this manufacturing method, the adhesive applied to the entire inner surface (1a) in advance can be used as the adhesive surface (4) of the feces guiding member (2) and the fixing adhesive portion (3) as it is.
[0066] The method of using the bag-type diaper of the present invention is characterized in that, in particular, the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') of the feces guiding member (2) is brought into contact with the anus of the wearer, and the adhesive surface (4) is adhered to the buttock crack portion including the anus of the wearer.
[0067] By attaching it to the wearer in this way, the feces guiding linear cut (5) or the feces guiding hole (5') of the feces guiding member (2) can be opened and closed following the opening and closing of the anus during defecation of the wearer.
[0068] As an example of the usage method related to the actual wearing of the bag - type diaper of the present invention, first, peel off the release paper (8) of the adhesive surface (4) of the feces - guiding member (2). Next, make the inner surface (1a) abut against the wearer's body from the buttocks to the natal cleft. Next, using the center mark (9) on the outer surface (1b) of the main body part as a guide, press the feces - guiding linear cut (5) or the feces - guiding hole (5') of the feces - guiding member (2) against the wearer's anus with a finger, and stick the adhesive surface (4) of the feces - guiding member (2) to the natal cleft including the wearer's anus. Then, peel off the release paper (8) of the fixing adhesive part (3) and stick - fix it to the lower back around the wearer's buttocks and coccyx. Further, if necessary, fix it to the wearer's body using an auxiliary fixing string or belt - like body (10).
[0069] After use, for the bag - type diaper of the present invention, first, peel off or untie the fixing adhesive part (3) and the auxiliary fixing string or belt - like body (10). Next, using the pickup part (7) of the feces - guiding member (2), peel off the adhesive surface (4) of the feces - guiding member (2) from the natal cleft including the wearer's anus. Then, for disposal, fold the feces - guiding member (2) along the center on the left and right as shown in FIG. 4, paste it together and seal it. Thereby, it can achieve combined and hygienic functions such as preventing the leakage of filth in the main body part (1), preventing the accompanying emission of bacteria, and reducing the emission of bad odors.
[0070] Furthermore, by folding and pasting together the fixing adhesive parts (3) around the periphery such as the left and right and the upper part of the feces - guiding member (2) so that they face each other, the hygiene and safety during the disposal of the diaper after use can be improved.
[0071] Note that although the present invention has been mainly described centering on the excretion treatment of feces, it can also be applied to the excretion treatment of urine. However, since urine is liquid, there is a risk that leakage cannot be fully prevented. In such a case, similar to the above - mentioned method, shaving the wearer's body hair can make it easier to stick - fix the adhesive surface (4) of the feces - guiding member (2) and the fixing adhesive part (3), and improvement can be achieved by putting a water - absorbent polymer, urine - coagulating agent, etc. in the accommodating part (1c) of the main body part (1).
[0072] Examples of the constituent materials of the water-absorbing polymer and the urine coagulant include, for example, polyacrylic acid-based resins, polyaspartic acid-based resins, and cellulose-based resins.
Industrial Applicability
[0073] The bag-type diaper of the present invention reduces the discomfort during use by the wearer and reduces the workload of the caregiver such as the handling of diaper changes, and can reduce the emission of bacteria and bad odors. Furthermore, since no water-absorbing polymer is used, the total amount of waste discarded as garbage after use can be reduced, leading to a reduction in the environmental load. In addition, the bag-type diaper of the present invention can be manufactured inexpensively and easily, and its volume is small, so that the space in the stockyard and the transportation cost can be reduced.
