Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] In the reel seat of Patent Document 1, a step is formed between the mounting leg portion of the fishing spinning reel and the reel seat body. For this reason, when gripping the reel seat, there is a problem that the finger caught in the step portion hits and the fishing operability is poor. In particular, when gripping for a long time, there is also a possibility that the gripping and holding property may decrease, and there has been a desire to improve this.
[0006] The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a reel sheet capable of improving fishing operability and grip retention.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] To solve the above problems, the present invention provides a reel sheet to which a mounting leg portion of a fishing spinning reel is detachably fixed. The reel sheet includes a reel sheet body having a fixed hood into which one end portion of the mounting leg portion is inserted, and a floating hood that is attached to the reel sheet body so as to be movable in the axial direction and into which the other end portion of the mounting leg portion is inserted. Further, the reel sheet includes a mounting surface provided on the reel sheet body on which the mounting leg portion is placed, and a pair of protruding portions formed so as to protrude in the circumferential direction from both side edges of the mounting surface when viewed from the axial direction of the reel sheet body. The pair of protruding portions extend in the axial direction at a portion where a finger touches when gripped together with the mounting leg portion.
[0008] According to the present invention, since the step formed between the mounting leg portion of the fishing spinning reel and the reel sheet body is reduced due to the presence of the pair of protruding portions, the sense of unity (fit) with the mounting leg portion when the reel sheet is gripped is enhanced, and fishing operability is improved. In addition, since the contact of the gripped finger with the step portion is reduced, pain in the finger is less likely to occur even when gripping for a long time, and grip retention can be improved.
[0009] Further, in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the reel sheet body, it is preferable that the distance between the protruding portions is set in the range of 16.5 to 17.5 mm. Furthermore, it is preferable that the protruding height of both the protruding portions with respect to the mounting surface is set in the range of 0.3 to 2.0 mm, respectively.
[0010] With these configurations, while suitably placing the mounting legs of general-purpose small and medium-sized fishing spinning reels on the mounting surface, the step formed between the mounting legs and the reel seat body can be reduced to improve fishing operability. Also, the grip holding performance when gripping for a long time can be improved.
[0011] Further, the both protruding portions are formed along the mounting surface, and it is preferable that the protruding height of the both protruding portions from the mounting surface is lower at the central portion in the axial direction than at one end side and the other end side in the axial direction. In this case, the protruding height from the mounting surface at the central portion in the axial direction of the both protruding portions is preferably 0.3 mm.
[0012] With this configuration, since the protruding portions are formed across the mounting surface, the formed step can be reduced across the entire mounting legs. Therefore, fishing operability and grip holding performance can be improved. Also, since the protruding height of the both protruding portions with respect to the mounting surface is lower at the central portion in the axial direction than at one end side and the other end side in the axial direction, even when the central portion in the front-rear direction of the mounting legs has a structure that bulges slightly in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the reel seat body, the mounting legs can be suitably placed on the mounting surface. Therefore, fishing operability and grip holding performance can be improved.
[0013] Further, a groove-shaped cutout portion is formed inside the both protruding portions, and it is preferable that the mounting surface is formed at two locations on one end side and the other end side in the axial direction with the cutout portion therebetween.
[0014] With this configuration, the mounting legs can be placed and fixed in a stable state by the mounting surfaces having a simple configuration formed at two locations in the front and rear between the one end side and the other end side in the axial direction. Also, the weight of the reel seat body can be reduced by the cutout portion. This contributes to the improvement of fishing operability.
[0015] Further, a hollow portion is formed inside the both protruding portions, and it is preferable that the wall thickness of the both protruding portions is set in the range of 0.6 to 1.0 mm.
[0016] With this configuration, while ensuring the strength of both protruding portions, further weight reduction of the reel sheet body can be achieved. As a result, the fishing operability can be improved.
Advantages of the Invention
[0017] According to the present invention, fishing operability and gripping and holding properties can be improved.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0019] Hereinafter, the reel sheet according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In each embodiment, the same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions are omitted. Note that, regarding "up and down", "left and right", and "front and back", follow the arrows in FIG. 2. The tip side of the rod is "front", and the butt side of the rod is "back". In the following description, the present invention is applied to a reel sheet with an up-lock specification in which the floating hood moves from the rear side to the front side to clamp the mounting leg portion. However, the present invention is applicable to a down-lock specification reel sheet in which the front and back of the reel sheet are reversed and the floating hood moves from the front side to the rear side to clamp the mounting leg portion.
[0020] (First Embodiment) As shown in FIG. 1, the reel sheet 1 according to the present embodiment is a cylindrical member to which the mounting leg portion 50 of a fishing spinning reel is detachably fixed. A rod (not shown) is inserted into the hollow portion 1a (see FIG. 5A) inside the reel sheet 1 and fixed by adhesion.
[0021] The reel sheet 1 includes a reel sheet main body 10 and a floating hood 20 that is movably attached to the reel sheet main body 10 in the axial direction. The reel sheet main body 10 is made of synthetic resin and includes a fixed hood 11, a front mounting surface 12, a rear mounting surface 13, and protruding portions 15, 15.
[0022] The fixed hood 11 is integrally formed at the lower part of the front portion of the reel sheet main body 10. The fixed hood 11 is a portion into which the front portion 53, which is one end portion of the mounting leg portion 50, is inserted. A substantially cylindrical grip attachment portion 16 for attaching the grip 60 is integrally formed on the upper portion of the fixed hood 11. The rear end portion of the grip 60 is applied to the front surface of a bulging portion 10a that extends rearward from the fixed hood 11. The bulging portion 10a is a portion that bulges in a substantially arc shape in the upper side portion of the reel sheet main body 10. A gap portion 10f that contributes to weight reduction is formed inside the bulging portion 10a as shown in FIGS. 5A to 5C. Note that the grip 60 is generally cylindrical and is the part where the fingers are applied. The grip 60 is formed of a flexible member such as cork or EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) of foamed resin.
[0023] The movable hood 20 is a part where the rear part 54, which is the other end of the mounting leg part 50, is inserted and is attached to the rear part of the reel sheet body 10. The movable hood 20 is movable in the front-rear direction by screwing into a screw part 10c (see FIG. 2) engraved on the rear part of the reel sheet body 10. A knob part 21 is provided at the rear part of the movable hood 20. By moving the movable hood 20 forward while rotating the knob part 21, the mounting leg part 50 can be clamped and fixed between the fixed hood 11. Also, by moving the movable hood 20 backward while rotating the knob part 21, the clamping of the mounting leg part 50 can be released and removed.
[0024] As shown in FIGS. 2, 3A, and 3B, the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 are flat surfaces on which the mounting leg part 50 is placed and are formed at two locations, the front and rear, of the reel sheet body 10. As shown in FIG. 4B, the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 are arranged at an equal distance from the central axis O1 of the reel sheet body 10. As shown in FIG. 5A, the contact surfaces 53a, 53a formed on both the left and right sides of the front part 53 of the mounting leg part 50 are placed on the front mounting surface 12. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5B, the contact surfaces 54a, 54a formed on both the left and right sides of the rear part 54 of the mounting leg part 50 are placed on the rear mounting surface 13. Here, the lower surface 10e of the reel sheet body 10 is formed in a concave curved shape following the concave curved cross-sectional shapes of the front part 53 and the rear part 54 of the mounting leg part 50. The lower surface 10e of the reel sheet body 10 faces the opposing surfaces of the front part 53 and the rear part 54 of the mounting leg part 50 with a slight gap, but they may also be in contact. Note that, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3A, and 4A, a recess 10b to which a decorative part is attached is formed on the lower surface 10e.
[0025] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5A to 5C, the protrusions 15, 15 are formed at positions that are axially symmetric when viewed from the axial direction of the reel sheet body 10. As shown in FIGS. 5A to 5C, the protrusions 15, 15 project continuously in the circumferential direction from both side edges on the radially outer sides of the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13, and have a substantially triangular cross-section with the top portions that are the protruding ends each formed in an arcuate shape. Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the protrusions 15, 15 extend in the axial direction at portions where fingers touch when grasped together with the mounting legs 50.
[0026] The interval L1 between the protrusions 15, 15 may be set as appropriate. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5A, in the direction orthogonal to the axis of the reel sheet body 10 (left-right direction), it is set in the range of 16.5 to 17.5 mm. The interval L1 corresponds to the left-right width dimension of the mounting legs 50 of a general small or medium-sized fishing spinning reel.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 5A, with the front portion 53 of the mounting leg 50 placed on the front mounting surface 12, the outer surfaces 15e, 15e of the protrusions 15, 15 and the outer surface 53e of the front portion 53 form a substantially curved (substantially arcuate) surface that is continuous with each other. Similarly, as shown in FIG. 5C, with the rear portion 54 of the mounting leg 50 placed on the rear mounting surface 13, the outer surfaces 15e, 15e of the protrusions 15, 15 and the outer surface 54e of the rear portion 54 form a substantially curved (substantially arcuate) surface that is continuous with each other. These substantially curved surfaces serve as gripping surfaces that fingers touch when grasped together with the mounting legs 50.
[0028] Next, the shape of the protrusions 15, 15 as viewed from the left and right side surfaces will be described. Since the left and right protrusions 15 are the same, the right protrusion 15 will be taken as an example for explanation here. As shown in FIG. 4B, the protrusion 15 is formed across the front mounting surface 12 to the rear mounting surface 13 and has a wavy shape with a height difference in the front-rear direction. The protrusion 15 includes a front peak portion 15a and a rear peak portion 15c that are formed with a high protrusion height from the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13, and a valley portion 15b that is formed with a lower protrusion height compared to these. In the present embodiment, the front peak portion 15a on the front side of the protrusion 15 is formed to be somewhat higher than the rear peak portion 15c.
[0029] Here, the protrusion height of the protrusion 15 from the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 may be set as appropriate. In the present embodiment, it is set in the range of 0.3 to 2.0 mm as a whole. On the other hand, the valley portion 15b is formed at a position that is approximately the central portion in the front-rear direction between the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13. The valley portion 15b corresponds to the central portion 52 in the front-rear direction of the mounting leg portion 50 (see FIG. 1). The protrusion height of the valley portion 15b from the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 may be set as appropriate. In the present embodiment, it is set to 0.3 mm.
[0030] Such protrusions 15 partially cover the left and right side surfaces of the mounting leg portion 50 from the side as shown in FIGS. 5A to 5C, reducing the exposure of the left and right side surfaces of the mounting leg portion 50 and contributing to the formation of the above-described gripping surface. Note that the central portion 52 (FIGS. 1 and 6) of the mounting leg portion 50 corresponding to the valley portion 15b can avoid interference when the mounting leg portion 50 of a model that bulges in the left-right direction is mounted.
[0031] Inside the protrusions 15, 15, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3A, cutout portions 17 are respectively formed. That is, the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 are arranged on the front side, which is one end side, and the rear side, which is the other end side, with the cutout portions 17, 17 interposed therebetween. The meat removal portions 17, 17 extend in a groove shape in the front-rear direction along the protruding portions 15, 15, and are concave with respect to the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13. The bottom surface 17a of the meat removal portion 17 is continuously connected to the front mounting surface 12 via the front inclined surface 12a, respectively. Similarly, the bottom surface 17a is continuously connected to the rear mounting surface 13 via the rear inclined surface 13a, respectively. The front inclined surface 12a and the rear inclined surface 13a function as guide portions that guide the mounting of the mounting leg portion 50 on the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 so as to suppress the catching of the mounting leg portion 50 and enable smooth mounting.
[0032] Next, with reference to FIG. 6, the gripping of the reel sheet 1 will be described. As shown in FIG. 6, during use, for example, the thumb F1 is placed on the upper part of the grip 60, and the index finger F2, middle finger F3, ring finger F4, and little finger F5 are used to grip the reel sheet body 10 and the floating hood 20 together with the mounting leg portion 50 so as to wrap them.
[0033] In this case, by bringing the middle finger F3 into contact with the front portion 53 of the mounting leg portion 50 so as to wrap it from the lower surface side, the portion of the reel sheet body 10 extending from the front side to the central side can be clamped from the downward and left-right directions. At this time, due to the front peak portion 15a of the protruding portion 15 of the reel sheet body 10, the portion touched by the middle finger F3 becomes a substantially curved gripping surface that is continuous (see FIG. 5A). As a result, the step formed between the left and right side surfaces of the front portion 53 of the mounting leg portion 50 and the both side surfaces of the reel sheet body 10 is reduced respectively due to the presence of the front peak portion 15a of the protruding portion 15.
[0034] Also, by bringing the ring finger F4 into contact with the rear portion 54 of the mounting leg portion 50 so as to wrap it from the lower surface side, the portion on the rear side of the reel sheet body 10 can be clamped from the downward and left-right directions. At this time, due to the rear peak portion 15c of the protruding portion 15 of the reel sheet body 10, the portion touched by the ring finger F4 becomes a substantially curved gripping surface that is continuous (see FIG. 5B). As a result, the step formed between the left and right side surfaces of the rear portion 54 of the mounting leg portion 50 and the both side surfaces of the reel sheet body 10 is reduced respectively due to the presence of the rear peak portion 15c of the protruding portion 15. In addition, even when the way of holding is changed and other fingers touch the front ridge portion 15a or the rear ridge portion 15c of the protruding portion 15, the operational effects are the same.
[0035] According to the reel sheet 1 of the present embodiment described above, since the step formed between the mounting leg portion 50 and the reel sheet main body 10 is reduced due to the presence of the both protruding portions 15, 15 (front ridge portion 15a, rear ridge portion 15c), the integration (fit) with the mounting leg portion 50 when the reel sheet main body 10 is gripped is enhanced, and the fishing operation performance is improved. Further, since the contact of the gripped finger with the step portion is reduced, it is difficult for the finger to get hurt even when gripping for a long time, and the holding and retaining performance can be improved.
[0036] In addition, the distance between the protruding portions 15, 15 is set in the range of 16.5 to 17.5 mm, and the protruding height of the protruding portions 15 with respect to the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 of the protruding portion 15 is set in the range of 0.3 to 2.0 mm. Thereby, while suitably mounting the mounting leg portion 50 of the small and medium-sized fishing spinning reel with high versatility on the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13, the step formed between the mounting leg portion 50 and the reel sheet main body 10 can be reduced to improve the fishing operation performance. Further, the holding and retaining performance when gripping for a long time can be improved.
[0037] In addition, since the both protruding portions 15, 15 are formed across the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13, the formed step can be reduced across the entire mounting leg portion 50. Therefore, the fishing operation performance and the holding and retaining performance can be improved.
[0038] In addition, the protruding height of the both protruding portions 15, 15 with respect to the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 is configured such that the valley portion 15b at the central portion in the axial direction is lower than the front side (one end side) and the rear side (the other end side) in the axial direction. Thereby, even in the case of a model in which the central portion 52 of the mounting leg portion 50 bulges slightly in the direction (left-right direction) orthogonal to the axis of the reel sheet main body 10, it does not interfere with this, and the mounting leg portion 50 can be suitably mounted. Therefore, the fishing operation performance and the holding and retaining performance can be improved.
[0039] In addition, with the simple structure formed by the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13, the mounting legs 50 can be placed and fixed in a stable state. Also, the weight reduction of the reel sheet body 10 can be achieved by the cutout portion 17. This contributes to the improvement of fishing operation performance and, consequently, the improvement of the grip holding performance.
[0040] (Second Embodiment) FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view showing a reel sheet body 10A of a reel sheet according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that hollow portions 10g, 10g are provided inside the protruding portions 15, 15 of the reel sheet body 10A.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 7, the hollow portions 10g, 10g are formed substantially over the entire inside of the bulging portion 10a of the reel sheet body 10A, and a part of them is formed so as to enter inside the protruding portions 15, 15. As a result, the protruding portions 15, 15 have a hollow cross-sectional shape with reduced thickness.
[0042] Here, the thickness of the protruding portions 15, 15 is set in the range of 0.6 to 1.0 mm. That is, the protruding portions 15, 15 have a structure with hollow portions 10g, 10g inside, and have a predetermined strength. Note that the hollow portions 10g, 10g may be formed only inside the protruding portions 15, 15. Also, the sizes of the hollow portions 10g, 10g inside the bulging portion 10a can be set as appropriate.
[0043] According to this embodiment, the same operational effects as those of the first embodiment can be obtained. In addition, according to this embodiment, while ensuring the strength of the protruding portions 15, 15, further weight reduction of the reel sheet body 10A can be achieved. Thereby, the improvement of fishing operation performance can be achieved, and consequently, the improvement of the grip holding performance can be achieved.
[0044] (Third Embodiment) FIG. 8 is a side view showing the reel sheet body 10B of the reel sheet according to the third embodiment of the present invention with the top and bottom reversed. The difference between this embodiment and the first and second embodiments is that the protruding portions 15A, 15A (only one is shown in FIG. 8) of the reel sheet body 10B are formed in a straight line.
[0045] As shown in FIG. 8, the protruding portions 15A, 15A extend in the front-rear direction at a constant height with reference to the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13. The protruding height of the protruding portions 15A, 15A from the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13 may be set as appropriate. In this embodiment, it is set to any value in the range of 0.3 to 2.0 mm. By increasing the protruding height, the exposure of the left and right side surfaces of the mounting leg portion 50 can be reduced, and the sense of unity (fit) with the mounting leg portion 50 when the reel sheet body 10B is gripped is enhanced.
[0046] According to this embodiment, the same operational effects as those of the first embodiment can be obtained. In addition, according to this embodiment, since the protruding portions 15A, 15A extend in the front-rear direction at a constant height, the step formed between the mounting leg portion 50 and the reel sheet body 10B can be reduced overall from the front mounting surface 12 to the rear mounting surface 13. Therefore, even when the position of the finger moves in the front-rear direction when the gripping method is changed, good fishing operability and gripping retention are maintained.
[0047] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, appropriate design changes can be made within a range not contrary to the gist of the present invention. For example, although the protruding portions 15, 15 are shown as being formed across the front mounting surface 12 to the rear mounting surface 13, the present invention is not limited to this, and they may be formed on at least one of the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13. Also, the protruding portions 15, 15 do not have to be formed so as to be continuous with the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13.
[0048] Also, although the mounting surfaces are shown as being formed at two locations on the front mounting surface 12 and the rear mounting surface 13, there may be three or more locations, or the cutout portions 17, 17 may be eliminated and formed so as to be continuous in the front-rear direction.
[0049] Further, the protruding portions 15, 15A may be provided only on one of the front side and the rear side of the reel sheet bodies 10, 10A, 10B.
