Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a flush toilet apparatus, and more particularly to a flush toilet apparatus that flushes with flush water stored in a flush water tank. [Background technology]

[0002] JP 2021-173035 A (Patent Document 1) describes a toilet device. In this toilet device, a functional part is located at the rear of the toilet body. That is, a functional part including a private parts cleansing device and the like is fixed to the rear of the ceramic toilet body. Here, the ceramic toilet body has a relatively large manufacturing dimensional tolerance, and the fixing part connecting the toilet body and the functional part employs a structure to absorb the dimensional tolerance of the toilet body. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Patent Publication No. 2021-173035 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] In toilet systems where a functional part, including a private parts cleansing device, is fixed to the toilet body, as in the invention described in Patent Document 1, if the functional part constitutes part of the toilet system's exterior, it is desirable to accurately position and fix the functional part to the toilet body so that the outer shape of the ceramic toilet body matches the outer shape of the functional part. On the other hand, in toilet systems that include a flush water tank for flushing the toilet body in addition to the functional part, the drain outlet in the flush water tank and the inlet in the toilet body for allowing flush water to flow in must also be accurately aligned. In this way, when two components that require relatively precise positioning must be attached to the ceramic toilet body, it becomes difficult to accommodate the relatively large dimensional tolerances of the toilet body and accurately attach both components.

[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a flush toilet apparatus that allows multiple components to be positioned and fixed to the ceramic flush toilet body. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a flush toilet device that flushes using flush water stored in a flush water tank, comprising a ceramic flush toilet body formed with a bowl section and an inlet through which flush water to flush the bowl section flows, a water supply section fixing member that is fixed to the rear of the flush toilet body via a first mounting section provided on the flush toilet body and has a water supply opening that matches the inlet of the flush toilet body, and an upper member that is fixed to the rear of the flush toilet body above the water supply section fixing member via a second mounting section provided on the flush toilet body, the water supply section fixing member and upper member being joined to each other by a connecting member that extends through the water supply section fixing member and the upper member, and the fixing hole provided in the water supply section fixing member or upper member for passing the connecting member through is an elongated hole.

[0007] According to the present invention configured in this way, the water supply unit fixing member is fixed to the first mounting part of the flush toilet body so that the inlet of the flush toilet body and the water supply opening of the water supply unit fixing member are aligned, and the upper member is fixed to the second mounting part of the flush toilet body above the water supply unit fixing member. Furthermore, the water supply unit fixing member and the upper member are joined to each other by a connecting member that extends through fixing holes provided in them. By joining the water supply unit fixing member fixed to the first mounting part of the flush toilet body and the upper member fixed to the second mounting part in this way, these members can be more firmly fixed to the flush toilet body. Furthermore, because the fixing holes provided in the water supply unit fixing member or the upper member are elongated, even if there is an error in the relative position of the first and second mounting parts of the flush toilet body, this can be absorbed and the water supply unit fixing member and the upper member can be joined to each other.

[0008] In the present invention, preferably, a flush water tank is placed on top of the water supply unit fixing member, and a sealing member is placed in the water supply opening of the water supply unit fixing member to ensure watertightness between the water supply unit fixing member and the flush toilet body.

[0009] With the present invention configured in this way, the water supply opening of the water supply unit fixing member and the inlet of the flush toilet body are aligned, so the sealing member placed between the water supply unit fixing member and the flush toilet body can function reliably, and watertightness between the water supply unit fixing member and the flush toilet body can be reliably guaranteed.

[0010] In the present invention, preferably, at least a portion of the upper member, when attached to the flush toilet body, forms part of the exterior of the flush toilet apparatus.

[0011] With this invention configured in this way, the fixing holes provided in the water supply unit fixing member or the upper member are elongated, so the attachment position of the upper member to the flush toilet main body can be adjusted while connecting the water supply unit fixing member and the upper member, and the upper member can be fixed in the appropriate position relative to the flush toilet main body. This means that the aesthetic appearance of the flush toilet apparatus is not marred, even if the upper member forms part of the external appearance of the flush toilet apparatus.

[0012] In the present invention, the ratio of the front-to-back length to the width length of the fixing hole provided in the water supply section fixing member or upper member is preferably greater than the ratio of the front-to-back length to the width length of the flush toilet body.

[0013] Dimensional errors in ceramic flush toilet bodies are generally affected by their front-to-back length relative to their width. With the present invention configured as described above, the ratio of front-to-back length to width length of the fixing holes provided in the water supply unit fixing member or upper member is greater than the ratio of front-to-back length to width length of the flush toilet body, so even if a dimensional error occurs in the flush toilet body, this can be absorbed effectively, and the water supply unit fixing member and upper member can be reliably joined.

[0014] In the present invention, the inlet of the flush toilet body is preferably located in the front-to-rear direction of the flush toilet body, between the first mounting part for fixing the water supply section fixing member and the second mounting part for fixing the upper member.

[0015] With the present invention configured in this way, the inlet of the flush toilet main body is located in the front-to-back direction of the flush toilet main body, between the first mounting part for fixing the water supply unit fixing member and the second mounting part for fixing the upper member, so the water supply opening of the water supply unit fixing member can be reliably positioned and fixed from the front and back relative to the flush toilet main body, ensuring reliable watertightness at the inlet. [Effects of the Invention]

[0016] According to the flush toilet apparatus of the present invention, multiple components can be positioned and fixed to the ceramic flush toilet body. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0018] Next, a flush toilet apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a side view showing the entire flush toilet apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 2 is a side cross-sectional view of the flush toilet apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0019] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the flush toilet device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is a siphon jet type flush toilet, and comprises a ceramic flush toilet body 2, a resin toilet seat 4 and toilet lid 4a placed on the top surface of the flush toilet body 2, a genital cleaning device 6 placed at the upper rear of the flush toilet body 2, and a flush water supply device 8.

[0020] The flush toilet body 2 is made of ceramic and is formed with a bowl portion 2a for receiving waste, a drain trap pipe 2b provided at the bottom of the bowl portion 2a, a jet water outlet 2c for jetting water, and a rim water outlet (not shown) for rim water outlet.

[0021] Bowl portion 2a has a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface and a rim portion formed along the upper edge of bowl portion 2a. The lower portion of bowl portion 2a is connected to the inlet of drain trap pipe 2b. Furthermore, jet spout 2c is formed facing the inlet of drain trap pipe 2b. Drain trap pipe 2b has an inlet, an ascending pipe extending upward from the inlet, and a descending pipe extending downward from the ascending pipe, the lower end of which is connected to a drain pipe via drain socket 2d.

[0022] A rim spout (not shown) is provided at the top of the bowl portion 2a, and flush water ejected from the rim spout swirls around the inner circumferential surface of the bowl portion 2a as it flows downward onto the waste receiving surface of the bowl portion 2a. The rim spout (not shown) is also connected to a rim water conduit (not shown) formed inside the flush toilet body 2, and flush water is supplied to this rim water conduit using the water supply pressure from the mains water supply.

[0023] Jet water outlet 2c is provided at the bottom of bowl portion 2a, and is connected to jet water conduit 2e formed inside flush toilet main body 2. As will be described later, this jet water conduit 2e is supplied with flush water from a flush water tank located at the rear of flush toilet main body 2. Jet water outlet 2c is positioned opposite the inlet of drain trap pipe 2b, and spouts flush water towards the inlet of drain trap pipe 2b; this flush water flows into drain trap pipe 2b and activates the siphon action.

[0024] The toilet seat 4 is a seat portion that is placed on the rim portion of the flush toilet main body 2 so as to surround the bowl portion 2a. The toilet lid 4a is a cover that is placed on top of the toilet seat 4 so as to cover it.

[0025] The private parts washing device 6 is placed on the flush toilet main body 2 behind the toilet seat 4, and is configured to wash the private parts of a user sitting on the toilet seat 4. The housing of the private parts washing device 6 also supports the toilet seat 4 and toilet lid 4a so that they can rotate around a horizontal axis, allowing the toilet seat 4 to be raised and lowered, and the toilet lid 4a to be opened and closed.

[0026] Specifically, the pubic cleansing device 6 is equipped with a cleaning nozzle 10a, a drive mechanism 10b that moves the cleaning nozzle 10a forward and backward, a pressure pump 10c that supplies cleaning water to the cleaning nozzle 10a, and a control unit 10d that controls these, etc. The cleaning nozzle 10a and other components of the pubic cleansing device 6 are attached to a resin base plate 6a that is located on the upper rear surface of the flush toilet main body 2.

[0027] Furthermore, a resin upper cover 6b is attached to the top side of the bottom plate 6a, so as to cover the cleaning nozzle 10a and other components provided on the genital cleaning device 6. This upper cover 6b, together with the flush toilet main body 2, forms part of the exterior of the flush toilet device 1. In this embodiment, the upper cover 6b and bottom plate 6a are joined together by snap fastening, and the housing for the genital cleaning device 6 is made up of the bottom plate 6a and upper cover 6b.

[0028] The flush water supply device 8 is positioned behind the private cleaning device 6, and is configured to supply flush water to the jet spout 2c of the flush toilet main body 2. Specifically, the flush water supply device 8 comprises a flush water tank 12a that stores flush water, a drain valve 12b that discharges / stops the flush water in this flush water tank 12a, and a drain valve drive mechanism 12c that drives this drain valve 12b. The flush water tank 12a of the flush water supply device 8 is then placed on a water supply unit fixing member 14, and this water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the rear of the flush toilet main body 2.

[0029] Next, the structure for attaching the pubic cleansing device 6 and flush water supply device 8 to the flush toilet main body 2 will be described with reference to Figures 3 to 6. Figure 3 is a top view of the flush toilet main body 2. Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the state when the water supply unit fixing member 14 has been attached to the flush toilet main body 2. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view showing an enlarged view of the connection between the flush toilet main body 2 and the flush water tank 12a. Figure 6 is a cross-sectional perspective view showing the state when the pubic cleansing device 6 and flush water supply device 8 have been attached to the flush toilet main body 2.

[0030] As shown in Figure 3, an inlet 2f is formed on the upper rear surface of the flush toilet main body 2, through which flush water flows in. This inlet 2f is connected to a jet water conduit 2e (Figure 2) formed inside the flush toilet main body 2, and flush water that flows in from the inlet 2f passes through the jet water conduit 2e and is discharged from the jet spout 2c, and is used to flush the bowl section 2a. Also, in this embodiment, the inlet 2f is located in a position offset to the right of the widthwise centre of the flush toilet main body 2, but the present invention can also be applied to flush toilet systems in which the inlet is offset to the left of the flush toilet main body, or to flush toilet systems in which it is located in the widthwise centre.

[0031] In the flush toilet apparatus 1 of this embodiment, the entire amount of flush water that flows into the inlet 2f from the flush water tank 12a is discharged from the jet outlet 2c, and the flush water that is discharged from the rim outlet (not shown) located at the top of the bowl section 2a is supplied separately and directly from the water supply. However, the present invention can also be applied to flush toilet apparatuses in which the entire amount of flush water flows in from the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2.

[0032] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, first mounting portions 2g for fixing water supply unit fixing members 14 (Figure 4) are provided in four locations on the rear top surface of the flush toilet main body 2. These first mounting portions 2g are holes provided in the ceramic flush toilet main body 2 for passing fixing bolts through. Furthermore, in this embodiment, two of the four first mounting portions 2g are provided at the rearmost part of the flush toilet main body 2, behind the inlet 2f, on both sides of the drain trap pipe 2b. Furthermore, the remaining two first mounting portions 2g are provided forward of the inlet 2f, on both sides of the drain trap pipe 2b.

[0033] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, two second mounting sections 2h are provided adjacent to the bowl section 2a on the rear top surface of the flush toilet main body 2, for attaching the bottom panel 6a of the pubic cleansing device 6. These second mounting sections 2h are holes for passing fixing bolts provided in the ceramic flush toilet main body 2. In this embodiment, the two second mounting sections 2h are provided adjacent to the rear side of the bowl section 2a, towards the centre of the flush toilet main body 2 in the width direction.

[0034] For this reason, each second mounting portion 2h is located further forward than the two first mounting portions 2g located on the front side of the flush toilet main body 2. As a result, the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 is located, in the front-to-rear direction of the flush toilet main body 2, between the two rearmost of the first mounting portions 2g for fixing the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the second mounting portion 2h for fixing the bottom plate 6a of the pubic cleansing device 6.

[0035] Next, as shown in Figure 4, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is a resin member, and is placed on the upper rear surface of the flush toilet main body 2. Furthermore, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the flush toilet main body 2 via the first attachment part 2g with four fixing bolts 14a (only three are shown in Figure 4). The water supply unit fixing member 14 is a box-shaped member overall, and its bottom surface is fixed to the flush toilet main body 2 with the fixing bolts 14a. Furthermore, a flush water tank 12a (Figure 2), made of resin, is placed inside the water supply unit fixing member 14, and is attached to the water supply unit fixing member 14. As a result, the flush water tank 12a is positioned by the water supply unit fixing member 14.

[0036] Furthermore, a water supply opening 14b is provided on the bottom surface of the water supply unit fixing member 14. This water supply opening 14b is a circular opening, and the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the flush toilet main body 2 so that the water supply opening 14b and the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 are aligned. Here, because the flush toilet main body 2 is made of ceramic, there is a relatively large degree of dimensional error in manufacturing. For this reason, the holes provided in the water supply unit fixing member 14 to pass the fixing bolts 14a through are made larger in diameter than the bolts 14a, making the fixing position of the water supply unit fixing member 14 adjustable and absorbing dimensional error. As a result, even if there is a dimensional error in the flush toilet main body 2, the attachment position of the water supply unit fixing member 14 can be adjusted so that the water supply opening 14b and the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 are accurately aligned.

[0037] Next, as shown in Figure 5, flush water tank 12a is made of resin, and is attached to water supply unit fixing member 14 so that it can be received inside water supply unit fixing member 14. A drain outlet 12d is provided on the bottom surface of flush water tank 12a, and this drain outlet 12d is closed by drain valve 12b. A drain valve drive mechanism 12c is provided above drain valve 12b, and drain valve 12b can be raised and lowered via a ball chain. When drain valve 12b is lifted by drain valve drive mechanism 12c, flush water stored in flush water tank 12a flows out of drain outlet 12d and flows into jet water conduit 2e from inlet 2f of flush toilet main body 2.

[0038] Furthermore, a sealing member 16 is placed between the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the flush toilet main body 2, ensuring watertightness between the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the flush toilet main body 2. The sealing member 16 is a circular rubber member, and is placed so that it surrounds the inlet 2f provided on the top surface of the flush toilet main body 2. As a result, the sealing member 16 is sandwiched between the top surface of the flush toilet main body 2 and the underside of the water supply unit fixing member 14, ensuring watertightness between them. As described above, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed so that its water supply opening 14b aligns with the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2, and therefore the drain outlet 12d of the flush water tank 12a attached to the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 are also accurately aligned, ensuring reliably watertightness.

[0039] More specifically, the bottom surface of flush water tank 12a is provided with an annular protrusion 12e that protrudes downward, and the inside of this annular protrusion 12e forms drain outlet 12d of flush water tank 12a. The diameter of drain outlet 12d is formed to be approximately the same as the diameter of water supply opening 14b formed in water supply unit fixing member 14, and drain outlet 12d and water supply opening 14b are smoothly connected. A groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of protrusion 12e, and an annular O-ring, which is a radial seal member, is fitted into this groove.

[0040] Meanwhile, a cylindrical portion 14c protruding downward is provided on the bottom surface of water supply unit fixing member 14 so as to surround water supply opening 14b. An annular upper surface recess 14d is formed on the upper surface of the bottom surface of water supply unit fixing member 14 so as to surround water supply opening 14b. Meanwhile, an annular lower surface recess 14e is formed on the lower surface of the bottom surface of water supply unit fixing member 14 so as to surround cylindrical portion 14c.

[0041] Furthermore, protrusion 12e protruding from the bottom surface of flush water tank 12a is received in upper surface recess 14d formed in the top surface of water supply unit fixing member 14. In this way, by fitting protrusion 12e of flush water tank 12a into upper surface recess 14d of water supply unit fixing member 14, the O-ring arranged on the outer periphery of protrusion 12e is crushed in the radial direction of drain outlet 12d, sealing the space between flush water tank 12a and water supply unit fixing member 14.

[0042] Meanwhile, a sealing member 16 is placed in an annular lower surface recess 14e formed on the underside of the water supply unit fixing member 14. The sealing member 16 is configured in an overall annular shape, and is fitted around a cylindrical portion 14c formed on the inner periphery of the lower surface recess 14e, and is received within the lower surface recess 14e. The water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the upper rear surface of the flush toilet main body 2 by fastening bolts 14a to each of the first mounting portions 2g of the flush toilet main body 2 through the water supply unit fixing member 14. At this time, the sealing member 16, which is placed in the lower surface recess 14e on the underside of the water supply unit fixing member 14, is compressed between the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the flush toilet main body 2. In other words, when the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the flush toilet main body 2, the sealing member 16 is sandwiched and crushed between the lower surface recess 14e of the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the peripheral edge of the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2.

[0043] Here, the sealing member 16 is compressed by fixing the water supply unit fixing member 14 to the flush toilet main body 2 at four first mounting portions 2g on the flush toilet main body 2. The first mounting portions 2g are also located on both sides of the water supply opening 14b in the front-to-rear direction. This ensures that the sealing member 16 located in the area of the water supply opening 14b can be compressed reliably, ensuring watertightness.

[0044] Next, with reference to Figure 6, the structure for attaching the genital cleansing device 6 to the flush toilet main body 2 will be explained. As described above, the flush nozzle 10a and other components of the pubic cleansing device 6 (Figure 2) are mounted on the bottom plate 6a, and this bottom plate 6a is fixed to the second mounting part 2h (Figure 3) of the flush toilet main body 2. Furthermore, the bottom plate 6a extends to the rear end of the flush toilet device 1, so as to cover the area above the water supply unit fixing member 14. The top of the flush water tank 12a, which is supported on top of the water supply unit fixing member 14, is received in an opening provided in the rear part of the bottom plate 6a, and protrudes above the bottom plate 6a. The rear end of the bottom plate 6a is fixed to the rear end of the water supply unit fixing member 14.

[0045] Furthermore, an upper cover 6b is attached to the top side of the bottom plate 6a, and this upper cover 6b covers each component of the pubic washing device 6, as well as the flush water tank 12a located behind the pubic washing device 6. For this reason, the upper cover 6b forms part of the exterior of the flush toilet device 1. The bottom plate 6a and upper cover 6b form the housing of the pubic washing device 6.

[0046] More specifically, as shown in Figure 6, a metal mounting plate 18 is fixed to the second mounting portion 2h (Figure 3) of the flush toilet main body 2 with two bolts (not shown). The bottom plate 6a is fixed to the mounting plate 18 by fitting a protrusion 18a that protrudes upward from this mounting plate 18 into a fitting recess 6c provided on the underside of the bottom plate 6a. In this way, the housing of the pubic cleansing device 6, consisting of the bottom plate 6a and upper cover 6b, is positioned and fixed to the flush toilet main body 2. In this embodiment, the bottom plate 6a, upper cover 6b and mounting plate 18 make up an "upper member" that is fixed above the water supply unit fixing member 14, and this "upper member" is fixed to the rear of the flush toilet main body 2 via the second mounting portion 2h provided on the flush toilet main body 2.

[0047] Furthermore, fixing holes 14f (Fig. 4) for fixing water supply unit fixing member 14 to bottom plate 6a are provided in the corners of the rear end of water supply unit fixing member 14. Meanwhile, as shown in Fig. 6, fixing holes 6d (only one shown in Fig. 6) are provided in the corners of the rear end of bottom plate 6a at positions corresponding to fixing holes 14f in water supply unit fixing member 14. Water supply unit fixing member 14 and bottom plate 6a are joined by bolts 20, which are joining members that extend through fixing holes 14f provided in water supply unit fixing member 14 and fixing holes 6d provided in bottom plate 6a.

[0048] As shown in Figure 4, in this embodiment, fixing hole 14f provided in water supply unit fixing member 14 to allow bolt 20 to pass through is an elongated hole, and the length of fixing hole 14f in the front-to-rear direction is longer than the length in the width direction. Therefore, even if there is a misalignment between water supply unit fixing member 14 and bottom plate 6a, bolt 20 can be passed through to connect them. Note that in this embodiment, fixing hole 14f provided in water supply unit fixing member 14 is an elongated hole, but fixing hole 6d provided in bottom plate 6a may also be an elongated hole. Alternatively, both the fixing hole in water supply unit fixing member 14 and the fixing hole in bottom plate 6a may be elongated holes.

[0049] Next, the assembly procedure for a flush toilet device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be explained. First, as shown in Figure 4, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the rear of the flush toilet main body 2 via the first mounting part 2g using four bolts 14a. At this time, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed so that the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 and the water supply opening 14b of the water supply unit fixing member 14 are accurately aligned. This causes the seal member 16 (Figure 5) located on the underside of the water supply unit fixing member 14 to abut in the appropriate position on the top of the flush toilet main body 2, ensuring watertightness between the flush toilet main body 2 and the water supply unit fixing member 14. Furthermore, because the holes in the water supply unit fixing member 14 for passing through each bolt 14a are made larger than the diameter of the bolts, the inlet 2f and the water supply opening 14b can be accurately aligned even if there is a manufacturing error in the position of the first mounting part 2g of the flush toilet main body 2.

[0050] Next, a water supply device such as flush water tank 12a is attached onto water supply unit fixing member 14. Here, because water supply unit fixing member 14 and flush water tank 12a are made of resin, there is relatively little manufacturing error, and water supply opening 14b of water supply unit fixing member 14 and drain opening 12d of flush water tank 12a are accurately aligned, ensuring watertightness between them.

[0051] Furthermore, the mounting plate 18 (Figure 6) is fixed to the second mounting portion 2h of the flush toilet main body 2. Here, the housing of the pubic washing device 6 (bottom panel 6a and upper cover 6b) is positioned by fitting the protrusion 18a of the mounting plate 18 into the fitting recess 6c of the bottom panel 6a. Also, as mentioned above, the upper cover 6b forms part of the exterior of the flush toilet device 1, so it needs to be attached so that its side is roughly flush with the side of the flush toilet main body 2. For this reason, after fixing the mounting plate 18 to the second mounting portion 2h of the flush toilet main body 2, the housing of the pubic washing device 6 is temporarily placed and it is checked whether the upper cover 6b is attached in the correct position relative to the flush toilet main body 2.

[0052] If the upper cover 6b is not in the correct position, the housing of the pubic washing device 6 is temporarily removed from the mounting plate 18, and the mounting position of the mounting plate 18 relative to the flush toilet main body 2 is fine-tuned. This adjustment allows the housing of the pubic washing device 6 to be attached so that the side of the upper cover 6b and the side of the flush toilet main body 2 are roughly flush, even if there is a manufacturing error in the position of the second mounting part 2h on the flush toilet main body 2.

[0053] After attaching the housing of the genital washing device 6 to the flush toilet main body 2, the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the bottom plate 6a are joined with bolts 20 (Figure 6). As a result, the front of the housing of the genital washing device 6 is fixed by the mounting plate 18, and the rear is fixed by the bolts 20, firmly fixing it to the flush toilet main body 2.

[0054] As mentioned above, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed so that its water supply opening 14b is precisely aligned with the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2, while the bottom plate 6a is fixed so that the side of the upper cover 6b is roughly flush with the side of the flush toilet main body 2. For this reason, manufacturing errors in the flush toilet main body 2 will cause misalignment to occur between the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the bottom plate 6a. However, in the flush toilet apparatus 1 of this embodiment, the fixing hole 14f provided in the water supply unit fixing member 14 is an elongated hole, so even if there is a misalignment in the relative positions of the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the bottom plate 6a, the bolt 20 can be passed through and they can be joined together.

[0055] Furthermore, the ratio of the front-to-back length D1 to the width length W1 of the fixing holes 14f provided in the water supply unit fixing member 14 shown in Figure 4 (= D1 / W1) is greater than the ratio of the front-to-back length D2 to the width length W2 of the flush toilet main body 2 shown in Figure 3 (= D2 / W2), so even if a dimensional error occurs in the flush toilet main body 2, this can be absorbed effectively, and the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the upper member (bottom panel 6a) can be reliably joined. In other words, dimensional error in a ceramic flush toilet main body 2 is generally affected by the front-to-back length D2 to the width length W2, and the front-to-back dimensional error will be greater in a flush toilet main body 2 that is long in the front-to-back direction. Therefore, by making the dimensional ratio (= D1 / W1) of the fixing holes 14f provided in the water supply unit fixing member 14 greater than the dimensional ratio of the flush toilet main body 2 (= D2 / W2), dimensional error that occurs in the flush toilet main body 2 can be reliably absorbed.

[0056] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the second mounting portion 2h for attaching the housing of the pubic cleansing device 6 is located forward of the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2, and the rear two of the first mounting portions 2g are located rearward of the inlet 2f. For this reason, by connecting the housing of the pubic cleansing device 6 and the water supply unit fixing member 14 with bolts 20, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is pressed down from the front and rear of the inlet 2f. As a result, the seal member 16 (Figure 5) can be more reliably brought into close contact with the top surface of the flush toilet main body 2, improving the watertightness of the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the flush toilet main body 2.

[0057] In this way, the flush toilet device 1 of this embodiment allows the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the bottom plate 6a (housing of the genital washing device 6) to be positioned independently relative to the flush toilet main body 2, while also making it possible to connect the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the bottom plate 6a with bolts 20. As a result, the housing of the genital washing device 6 can be firmly fixed to the flush toilet main body 2.

[0058] According to a flush toilet apparatus 1 of an embodiment of the present invention, the water supply unit fixing member 14 is fixed to the first mounting portion 2g of the flush toilet main body 2 so that the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 and the water supply opening 14b of the water supply unit fixing member 14 are aligned, and an upper member (bottom panel 6a, upper cover 6b, mounting plate 18) is fixed to the second mounting portion 2h of the flush toilet main body 2 above the water supply unit fixing member 14. Furthermore, the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the upper member are joined to each other by bolts 20, which are connecting members that extend through fixing holes 6d, 14f provided in these members. By joining the water supply unit fixing member 14, which is fixed to the first mounting portion 2g of the flush toilet main body 2, and the upper member (bottom panel 6a), which is fixed to the second mounting portion 2h in this way, these members can be more firmly fixed to the flush toilet main body 2. Furthermore, the fixing hole 14f provided in the water supply unit fixing member 14 is an elongated hole, so even if there is an error in the relative position of the first mounting part 2g and the second mounting part 2h of the flush toilet body 2, this can be absorbed and the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the upper member can be joined together.

[0059] Furthermore, with the flush toilet device 1 of this embodiment, the water supply opening 14b of the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 are aligned, so the sealing member 16 (Figure 5) placed between the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the flush toilet main body 2 can function reliably, and watertightness between the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the flush toilet main body 2 can be reliably ensured.

[0060] Furthermore, according to the flush toilet apparatus 1 of this embodiment, the fixing holes 14f provided in the water supply unit fixing member 14 are elongated holes, so the attachment position of the upper member to the flush toilet main body 2 can be adjusted while connecting the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the upper member (bottom panel 6a, upper cover 6b, mounting plate 18) to each other, and the upper member can be fixed in the appropriate position relative to the flush toilet main body 2. As a result, even when the upper member forms part of the exterior appearance of the flush toilet apparatus 1, the aesthetic appearance of the flush toilet apparatus 1 is not marred.

[0061] Furthermore, according to the flush toilet device 1 of this embodiment, the ratio of the front-to-back length to the width length of the fixing holes 14f provided in the water supply section fixing member 14 is greater than the ratio of the front-to-back length to the width length of the flush toilet main body 2, so even if a dimensional error occurs in the flush toilet main body 2, this can be absorbed effectively, and the water supply section fixing member 14 and the upper member can be reliably joined.

[0062] Furthermore, according to the flush toilet device 1 of this embodiment, the inlet 2f of the flush toilet main body 2 is located in the front-to-rear direction of the flush toilet main body 2, between a part of the first mounting part 2g for fixing the water supply unit fixing member 14 and the second mounting part 2h for fixing the upper member, so the water supply opening 14b of the water supply unit fixing member 14 can be reliably positioned and fixed from the front and back relative to the flush toilet main body 2, ensuring reliable watertightness at the inlet 2f.

[0063] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, various modifications can be made to the above-described embodiments. In particular, in the above-described embodiments, flush water tank 12a was attached on top of water supply unit fixing member 14, but water supply unit fixing member 14 and flush water tank 12a may be integrated as a water supply unit. Also, in the above-described embodiments, the upper member was made up of bottom plate 6a, upper cover 6b, and mounting plate 18, but any one or more members fixed above water supply unit fixing member 14 can be used as the upper member. Furthermore, in the above-described embodiments, water supply unit fixing member 14 and the upper member (bottom plate 6a) were connected to each other by bolts 20 extending through them, but any member extending through water supply unit fixing member 14 and the upper member, such as a rivet, can be used as the connecting member.
