Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a transport pallet used for transporting various items. [Background technology]
[0002] Traditionally, transport pallets have been used to transport various items, including industrial products. However, the general-purpose transport pallets that have been widely used up until now have the problem of making it difficult to securely restrain and fix the loaded items so that they do not move, making them unsuitable for transporting precision products and the like.
[0003] In response to such problems, Patent Document 1 proposes a transport pallet that includes a pair of load members for carrying items (cargo) and restraint fittings that are slidably attached to the pair of load members and clamp the items loaded on the load members from both sides in two perpendicular directions to restrain them. This transport pallet can restrain and secure items according to their shape, etc., and the position of the item restraint means can be adjusted easily and quickly, allowing for the safe transport of items such as precision products, and also making it easy and quick to set and remove items from the pallet. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 6615740 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] The transport pallet in Patent Document 1 allows the load to slide horizontally relative to a support (base), making it somewhat accommodating to items of different lengths. However, when a long item is loaded, both sides of the item extend significantly beyond the pallet body. In this case, the item may move during transport by vehicle, potentially causing problems such as the item (load) slipping off the pallet body. To avoid this problem, conventionally, multiple sizes of pallets had to be used depending on the length of the item. For example, for an item with a width of approximately 2 m and lengths ranging from 2 to 5 m, four or five different sizes of pallets with different lengths would be required, which was extremely uneconomical.
[0006] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art as described above, and to provide a transport pallet that can appropriately prevent problems such as cargo shifting due to cargo movement during transport, regardless of the size of the cargo (item) being loaded, and can stably support the load (item). [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The gist of the present invention for solving the above problems is as follows. [1] A pair of holding arms (2) extendable outward on both sides of the pallet body (1), A transport pallet characterized in that each pressing arm (2) comprises an arm (3) held on the pallet body (1) so as to be able to slide horizontally, a pressing member (4) attached to the tip of the arm (3) so as to be able to abut the side of the load loaded on the pallet body (1), and a fixing means (5) for detachably fixing the arm (3) to the pallet body (1) at any sliding position. [2] A transport pallet according to the above [1], characterized in that each holding arm (2) is provided with a height-adjustable foot (6) for grounding at the bottom of the tip of the arm (3).
[0008] [3] In the transport pallet of [1] or [2] above, the arm (3) of the holding arm (2) is provided with a pair of slide bars (7) that are held horizontally slidably on the pallet body (1) via a guide mechanism (9), and an arm tip bar (8) that connects the tips of the pair of slide bars (7), and the holding member (4) is supported on the arm tip bar (8). [4] In the transport pallet of [3] above, the guide mechanism (9) is characterized in that it comprises a guide portion (12) provided along the longitudinal direction of each slide bar (7), and a slide bar holding member (13) provided on the pallet body (1) side, which is slidably engaged with the guide portion (12) of each slide bar (7).
[0009] [5] A transport pallet according to the above [4], characterized in that at least one of the slide bar holding members (13) also serves as a fixing means (5), and the slide bar holding member (13) is provided with a clamp member (14) that releasably clamps a portion of the slide bar (7) between itself and the frame material (15) that constitutes the pallet body (1). [6] A transport pallet according to any one of the above items [1] to [5], characterized in that the pallet body (1) comprises a load member (10x) or a top plate (10y) on which a load is placed, and a base (11) that supports the load member (10x) or the top plate (10y). [7] A transport pallet according to any one of the above items [1] to [6], characterized in that the pallet body (1) is provided with restraining fittings (16) for restraining the load placed thereon. [8] A transport pallet according to any one of the above [1] to [7], characterized in that the transport pallet has two sets of holding arms (2) that can be extended outward on both sides of the pallet body (1) in two directions that are perpendicular to each other in a plan view. [Effects of the Invention]
[0010] In the transport pallet of the present invention, the pressure members 4 of the pair of pressure arms 2 press down on both sides of the load (item) that protrudes from the pallet body 1 from the outside, restraining it and preventing the load from shifting due to movement during transport. This allows stable support of items regardless of size, and a single size pallet can now be used to transport multiple sizes of items, which previously required multiple sizes of pallets. This eliminates the need to use multiple sizes of pallets to match the size (length) of the load, as was previously the case, making it extremely economical. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0012] 1 to 6 are schematic diagrams showing one embodiment of a transport pallet of the present invention, with Fig. 1 being a plan view showing a pair of pressure arms 2 extended from a pallet body 1, Fig. 2 being a front view of the same, and Fig. 3 being a plan view showing a pair of pressure arms 2 housed within the pallet body 1. Fig. 4 is a plan view showing a slide bar holding member 13a that holds one of the slide bars 7 constituting the pressure arm 2, with the frame material 15 on the pallet body 1 side and the slide bar 7 cross-sectioned, Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VV in Fig. 4, and Fig. 6 is a plan view showing a slide bar holding member 13b that holds the other slide bar 7 constituting the pressure arm 2, with the frame material 15 on the pallet body 1 side and the slide bar 7 cross-sectioned.
[0013] In the drawing, reference numeral 1 denotes a pallet body. In the transport pallet of the present invention, there are no particular limitations on the shape or structure of the pallet body 1, but the pallet body 1 of this embodiment has a planar rectangular shape and includes multiple load members 10x (three in this embodiment) on which loads are to be placed, and a base 11 (support) that supports the load members 10x. The base 11 is constructed by assembling and joining a plurality of frame materials 15 (shaped steel materials, square pipes, etc.) into a rectangular shape when viewed from above. The multiple load members 10x are supported in a parallel arrangement on the base 11 and can move in parallel along guides (not shown) provided on the base 11, allowing their positions to be adjusted according to the size of the load to be loaded. Specific configurations thereof will be described in detail in the embodiments shown in Figures 8 to 13.
[0014] The transport pallet of the present invention is equipped with a pair of presser arms 2 that can be extended outward on both sides (horizontally outward on both sides) of the pallet body 1. When the loaded load protrudes outward on both sides of the pallet body 1, these presser arms 2 are means for holding down and restraining the protruding portion of the load from both sides (outside), thereby preventing the load from shifting due to movement during transport. Each pressing arm 2 comprises an arm 3 held on the pallet body 1 so as to be able to slide horizontally, a pressing member 4 provided at the tip of the arm 3 and able to abut against the side (usually the lower end of the side) of the load loaded on the pallet body 1, and a fixing means 5 for removably fixing the arm 3 to the pallet body 1 at any sliding position.
[0015] The arm 3 of the pressure arm 2 is made of frame material (beam steel, square pipe, etc.) and is equipped with a pair of slide bars 7 that are held on the pallet body 1 (base 11) via a guide mechanism 9 so that they can slide horizontally, and an arm tip bar 8 that connects the tips of the pair of slide bars 7, and the pressure member 4 is supported on this arm tip bar 8. The pressing member 4 is a plate-like body with its plate surface facing inward of the pallet body 1, and is erected at the tip of the arm 3 by fixing its lower end to the arm tip bar 8. In this embodiment, the pressing members 4 are provided at multiple locations in the width direction of the pressing arm 2 (longitudinal direction of the arm tip bar 8) at predetermined intervals. Note that, although the pressing members 4 in this embodiment are provided at two locations in the width direction of the pressing arm 2 (longitudinal direction of the arm tip bar 8), they may be provided at three or more locations. A shock absorbing pad (not shown) made of rubber or the like may be provided on the surface of the pressing member 4 that comes into contact with the load.
[0016] The guide mechanism 9 consists of a guide portion 12 arranged along the longitudinal direction of each slide bar 7, and slide bar holding members 13a, 13b which are members arranged on the pallet main body 1 (base 11) side and which slidably engage with the guide portion 12 of each slide bar 7. The guide portion 12 of this embodiment is a guide hole 12 formed in the slide bar 7 made of a square pipe along the longitudinal direction of the side of the slide bar 7. A This guide hole is made up of 12 A The slide bar holding members 13a, 13b are slidably engaged with the slide bars 7, so that each slide bar 7 is slidably held on the pallet main body 1 (base 11) side via the slide bar holding members 13a, 13b.
[0017] In this embodiment, one slide bar holding member 13a also serves as fixing means 5 for detachably fixing arm 3 at any slide movement position. 4 and 5 show the slide bar holding member 13a that also serves as the fixing means 5. The slide bar holding member 13a is provided with a clamp member 14 as the fixing means 5, which detachably clamps a part of the slide bar 7 between the frame material 15 that constitutes the pallet body 1 (base 11). The clamp member 14 is a plate-like member whose longitudinal direction is along the longitudinal direction of the slide bar 7, and is disposed inside the slide bar 7 that is made of a square pipe. The clamp member 14 is inserted into the guide hole 12. A The clamp member 14 is provided in the guide hole 12 so that the upper and lower slide bar portions can be clamped. A The width of the clamp member 14 is set to the guide hole 12 so that the clamp member 14 does not slip out of the guide hole 12. A The clamp member 14 is formed with female screw holes 19 at two locations spaced apart in the longitudinal direction by an appropriate distance.
[0018] On the other hand, the frame material 15 constituting the pallet body 1 (base 11) has bolt insertion holes 18 formed at two locations at an appropriate interval in the longitudinal direction. Bolts 17 are inserted into the bolt insertion holes 18, respectively, and the tip of each bolt 17 is inserted into the guide hole 12. A The bolt 17 is inserted into the slide bar 7 and threaded into a female screw hole 19 of the clamp member 14. Reference numeral 20 denotes a nut attached to the tip of the bolt 17 to prevent it from coming off. As described above, the slide bar holding member 13a is made up of a pair of bolts 17 supported by the frame material 15 constituting the pallet body 1 (base 11), and a pair of bolts 17 that are disposed inside the slide bar 7 and are inserted through the guide holes 12. A It is composed of a clamp member 14 held by a pair of bolts 17 inserted into the slide bar 7 through the clamp member 14, which not only holds the slide bar 7 so that it can slide, but also serves as a fixing means 5 for fixing the arm 3 to the pallet main body 1 (base 11) with the clamp member 14.
[0019] When the pressing arm 2 is in an extendable state, that is, when the arm 3 (slide bar 7) is in a slidable state relative to the frame material 15 constituting the pallet body 1 (base 11), the pair of bolts 17 tightened to the clamp member 14 are loosened, and the clamp member 14 is in an unclamped state. In this case, the bolts 17 of the slide bar holding member 13a are inserted into the guide holes 12 when the slide bar 7 is slid. A It slides longitudinally inside the holder and functions as part of the guide mechanism 9 for extending and retracting the presser arm 2. On the other hand, when the pressing arm 2 (arm 3) is fixed to the pallet body 1 (base 11), a pair of bolts 17 are fastened to the clamping member 14, and the guide holes 12 are inserted between the clamping member 14 and the frame material 15. A The upper and lower slide bar portions of the arm 3 are clamped. This fixes the arm 3 to the pallet body 1 (base 11). That is, in this case, the slide bar holding member 13a functions as fixing means 5 for the arm 3.
[0020] FIG. 6 shows the other slide bar holding member 13b, which functions only as the guide mechanism 9 in this embodiment. The slide bar holding member 13b has a pair of holding shafts 21 that protrude from the side of the frame material 15 that constitutes the pallet body 1 (base 11) at an appropriate interval in the longitudinal direction of the slide bar, and the tip side of the holding shafts 21 is inserted into the guide hole 12. A The holder shaft 21 is inserted into the slide bar 7 from the inside, and the tip of the holder shaft 21 has a guide hole 12 A A member 22 for preventing it from coming off is fixed. Each holding shaft 21 is configured as follows: A An insertion hole 23 is formed in a flange portion 150 facing the frame material 15, and the tip side of a shaft body 24 is inserted into this insertion hole 23 and protrudes from the side portion of the frame material 15 to form a retaining shaft 21. The rear end of the shaft body 24 is fixed to the frame material 15 by a bolt (bolt 25) attached to the other flange portion 151 of the frame material 15. The holding shaft 21 of the slide bar holding member 13b is inserted into the guide hole 12 when the slide bar 7 is slid. A It slides longitudinally inside the holder and functions as part of the guide mechanism 9 for extending and retracting the presser arm 2.
[0021] Each presser arm 2 is provided with a height-adjustable grounding foot 6 (adjuster) at the bottom of the tip of the arm 3. The configuration of this foot 6 is similar to that of a general adjuster, and as shown in Figure 2, it is made up of a leg 26 (bolt member) fixed to the arm tip bar 8, and a grounding member 27 screwed into the threaded portion at the bottom end of this leg 26, and the height can be adjusted relative to the base 11 by rotating the grounding member 27 relative to the threaded portion of the leg 26. In this embodiment, only the slide bar holding member 13a doubles as the fixing means 5, but both the slide bar holding members 13a and 13b may also double as the fixing means 5, or the fixing means 5 may be provided separately from the slide bar holding members 13a and 13b.
[0022] As mentioned above, in the transport pallet of the present invention, there are no particular limitations on the structure of the pallet body 1. Therefore, the pallet body 1 may be an integral type, or may be one that includes load members 10x for carrying loads and a base 11 that supports these load members 10x (for example, the type shown in Patent Document 1) as in this embodiment. Alternatively, it may be one that includes a top plate 10y (not shown) for carrying loads and a base 11 that supports this top plate 10y (for example, the type shown in Patent No. 7054118). Furthermore, the pallet body 1 is preferably provided with restraint fittings for restraining the load placed thereon. Therefore, the load members 10x (or the top plate 10y) of this embodiment are also preferably provided with restraint fittings (not shown) for restraining the load placed thereon. There are no particular restrictions on the type or restraint format of this restraining fitting, and for example, it may be configured as a clamp member that releasably clamps a portion of the load between the pallet body 1 (load material 10x) as shown in the embodiment of Figures 8 to 13 described below, or it may be configured as a restraining member that clamps the load from both sides and restrains it as shown in Patent Document 1.
[0023] Figure 2 shows a state in which a long load G (item) is loaded onto a pallet body 1 (load material 10x). Since both sides of the loaded load G extend significantly beyond the pallet body 1 (the load support range of the load material 10x), as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the pressure arms 2 are extended outward on both sides of the pallet body 1, and the arms 3 are fixed to the pallet body 1 with fixing means 5 while the pressure members 4 abut against the lower ends of the sides of the load G. In addition, the feet 6 at the ends of the arms 3 are adjusted to an appropriate height and placed on the ground, and the ends of the pressure arms 2 are supported on the floor or ground. This allows the load G to be stably supported on the pallet body 1, and makes it possible to appropriately prevent the load G from shifting due to movement during transport.
[0024] The transport pallet of the present invention can be provided with two pairs of pressure arms 2 as shown in Figures 1 to 6 so that they can be extended outward on both sides of the pallet body 1 in two directions that are perpendicular to each other in a plan view. Figure 7 is a plan view schematically illustrating such an embodiment, showing two pairs of pressure arms 2 (2A, 2B) extended from the pallet body 1. In the embodiment of FIG. 7, two pairs of pressing arms 2 are housed in two levels, one above the other, relative to the pallet body 1. The configuration of each pair of pressing arms 2 and the configuration of the pallet body 1 are the same as those in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 6, and therefore detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0025] Figures 8 to 10 show an embodiment with a more specific structure than the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 6. Figure 8 is a perspective view showing a pair of pressing arms 2 extended from a pallet body 1, Figure 9 is a front view of the same, and Figure 10 is a side view of the same. The basic structure of this embodiment is similar to that of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, so the same reference numerals are used and detailed description will be omitted. Multiple load members 10x are supported on a base 11 so that they can move parallel (slide) in the width direction of the base, and can be fixed to the base 11 at any moving position by fastening means that fastens the load members 10x to the base 11, and the specific structure is the same as that shown in Patent Document 1. That is, guide portions 28 are provided along the longitudinal direction of the frame members 15 on both sides of the base 11. The multiple (three) load members 10x are supported by the base 11 in a parallel state, and with both ends guided by the guide portions 28, they can move in parallel in the width direction of the base, allowing their positions to be adjusted according to the size of the load to be loaded.
[0026] The guide portion 28 is formed by a guide hole 28 formed through the upper surface of the frame material 15. A This guide hole 28 A A part of the bolt and nut member 29 (fastening means) which is the guided member is fitted into the guide hole 28 so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction of the guide hole. AThe bolts of the bolt and nut members 29 are inserted into bolt insertion holes (not shown) at both ends of the load member 10x, and the load member 10x is fixed to the base 11 by tightening the bolt and nut members 29, which serve as fastening means. In addition, the load member 10x can be moved (slid) in parallel in the width direction of the base by loosening the bolt and nut members 29.
[0027] Each load member 10x is provided with restraint fittings 16 at two locations near both ends. In this embodiment, these are configured as clamp members (known as uni-clamps) that releasably clamp a portion of the load between the load member 10x and the restraint fittings 16. Each restraint fitting 16 is provided so that its position can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the load member. For this purpose, a guide portion 30 (guide hole) is provided along the longitudinal direction of the load member 10x, and the restraint fitting 16 is slidably attached to this guide portion 30 and can be releasably fixed to the load member 10x at any sliding position. In the case of the clamp member of this embodiment, by releasably clamping a portion of the load between the load member 10x and the clamp member, the clamp member itself is also fixed to the load member 10x.
[0028] The holding member 4 is also provided so that its position can be adjusted in the width direction of the arm 3 (longitudinal direction of the arm tip bar 8). For this reason, a guide portion 31 (guide hole) is provided along the longitudinal direction of the arm tip bar 8, and the holding member 4 is attached to this guide portion 31 so that it can slide, and can be releasably fixed (for example, bolted) to the arm tip bar 8 at any sliding position. A buffer pad 32 made of rubber, synthetic resin, or the like is provided at the portion of the pressing member 4 that comes into contact with the side (lower end of the side) of the load. Additionally, in the drawing, 33 denotes stacking columns erected at the four corners of the pallet, which are used to support the four corners of the base 11 of the upper transport pallet when stacking multiple transport pallets.
[0029] 11 to 13 show the transportation pallet of this embodiment in use, with FIG. 11 being a perspective view, FIG. 12 being a front view, and FIG. 13 being a side view. The length of the load G (item) is nearly three times the pallet width (the load support range of the load material 10x). When the load G is loaded onto the pallet body 1, both sides of the load extend significantly beyond the pallet body 1. Therefore, before loading the load G, the pressure arms 2 are extended outward on both sides of the pallet body 1. After the load G is loaded onto the pallet body 1, the slide positions of the arms 3 of each pressure arm 2 are adjusted so that the pressure members 4 abut the lower edges of the sides of the load G. In this state, the pressure arms 2 (arms 3) are fixed to the pallet body 1 with the fixing means 5. The foot 6 at the tip of the arm 3 is adjusted to the appropriate height and placed on the ground, so that the tip of the pressure arm 2 is supported on the floor or ground. This allows the load G to be stably supported on the pallet body 1 regardless of its size, and prevents the load G from shifting due to movement during transport. This has the advantage of allowing a single-size pallet to handle the transportation of multiple sizes of loads, which previously required multiple sizes of pallets.
[0030] The transport pallet of the present invention can also be used as a part of a so-called lower part or container. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the type and restraint form of the restraint fittings 16 are arbitrary, and therefore, although not shown, instead of the clamp member (uniclamp) of this embodiment, for example, as shown in Patent Document 1, a pair of restraint fittings 16a, each supported by a load material 10x, which clamps and restrains the load loaded on the load material 10x from both sides in one direction, and a pair of restraint fittings 16b, each supported by a load material 10x at both sides of the restraint fittings 16a in the longitudinal direction of each load material 10x, which clamps and restrains the load loaded on the load material 10x from both sides in a direction perpendicular to the restraint direction by the pair of restraint fittings 16a, may be provided.
