[0024] 1 and 2, the aerosol generating device 300 can be used to heat and atomize an aerosol-generating matrix. The aerosol generating device 300 can be used in various fields, such as medical atomization, cosmetic atomization, and recreational smoking. Specifically, the aerosol generating device 300 includes a housing 301, a heat generating assembly 100 and a power supply assembly 200 installed in the housing 301. The heat generating assembly 100 is used to heat and atomize an aerosol-generating matrix to form an aerosol. The power supply assembly 200 includes a battery 201, an airflow sensor (not shown), and a controller (not shown). The power supply assembly 200 is used to supply power to the heat generating assembly 100 and controls the operation of the heat generating assembly 100 to heat and atomize the aerosol-generating matrix to form an aerosol. Here, the airflow sensor is used to detect a change in airflow in the aerosol generating device 300, and the controller operates the battery 201 based on the change in airflow detected by the airflow sensor to supply power to the heat generating assembly 100. In another optional embodiment, there may be no airflow sensor and the controller activates the battery 201 to power the heat generating assembly 100 based on a control signal input by the user.

[0025] In one embodiment, the heat generating assembly 100 is at least partially inserted into the aerosol product 100. Specifically, the aerosol-generating product 10 includes a housing tube 11 and an aerosol-generating matrix disposed within the housing tube 11. Here, the aerosol-generating matrix may be a solid aerosol-generating matrix of plant leaves having a particular aroma. The housing tube 11 may be a cylindrical structure having multiple sections, in which the aerosol-generating matrix is disposed within a first end of the housing tube 11 to form a matrix portion 12, and in a second end opposite the first end to form a filter portion 13, a hollow portion 14 is formed between the matrix portion 12 and the filter portion 13.

[0026] In one embodiment, the heat generating assembly 100 is at least partially inserted into the matrix section 12, and the matrix section 12 contains a solid aerosol-generating matrix, and the form of the solid aerosol-generating matrix is not limited to an ordered solid aerosol-generating matrix, a disordered solid aerosol-generating matrix, and a particulate solid aerosol-generating matrix. The hollow section 14 can further contain a support material (not shown), and the hollow section 14 is used to collect the aerosol. The filter section 13 contains a filter material, and the filter section 13 is used to filter impurities in the aerosol. The support material and the filter material in the hollow section 14 and the filter section 13 include, but are not limited to, acetate fiber, polylactic acid fiber, polypropylene fiber, paper filter material, and the like. In one specific embodiment, the first end of the containment tube 11 is an open structure or has at least a through hole (not shown), through which the outside air and the heat generating assembly 100 can enter the aerosol-generating product 100.

[0027] In another embodiment, referring to FIG. 3, in order to prevent the temperature of the generated aerosol from being too high and affecting the user's experience, a cooling section 15 having a further cooling material is installed between the hollow section 14 and the filter section 13, and the cooling material includes, but is not limited to, polylactic acid and other phase change materials.

[0028] 4 to 6, in one embodiment, the heating assembly 100 includes a substrate 20 and a conductive trace 30, the substrate 20 having a heating region 21, and the conductive trace 30 disposed in the heating region 21. The substrate 20 and the conductive trace 30 are used to be at least partially inserted into an aerosol-generating matrix, so that the conductive trace 30 generates heat under an electric current condition and heats the aerosol-generating matrix. Here, the substrate 20 may be in the shape of a column or a sheet, and the material of the substrate 20 may be an insulating ceramic or an insulating metal. The material of the conductive trace 30 may be one or more of aluminum and its alloys, copper and its alloys, silver and its alloys, gold and its alloys, platinum and its alloys, iron and its alloys, nickel and its alloys, and titanium and its alloys, and the heating circuit is formed on the surface of the substrate 20 by a physical vapor deposition (e.g., magnetron sputtering, vacuum evaporation, ion plating) or chemical vapor deposition (ion-assisted chemical deposition, laser-assisted chemical vapor deposition, metal organic deposition). The conductive trace 30 may also be formed by printing and sintering a conductive paste.

[0029] The present inventors have found that the conventional heating assembly 100 generally has only one high temperature area 31 under energized condition, and the one high temperature area 31 is generally located near the tip of the heating assembly 100, which causes the heating assembly 100 to heat the aerosol-generating matrix non-uniformly, resulting in low heating effect and low generated aerosol content. To solve the above problem, the conductive trace 30 provided by the present application is configured such that, under energized condition, the conductive trace 30 forms at least two high temperature areas 31 in the heating area 21, so that the high temperature areas 31 of the heating assembly 100 are widely distributed, the heating effect is better, and it is favorable to improve the mouth feel and usage experience of the user.

[0030] As can be appreciated, the more resistive the material of the conductive trace 30 is, the more heat and higher the temperature will be generated when current is applied. In one embodiment, the conductive trace 30 includes at least two heating sections having different resistances, with the higher resistive heating section located in a position corresponding to the high temperature region 31. In another embodiment, the material of the conductive trace 30 includes at least two materials having different resistances, with the more resistive material located in a position corresponding to the high temperature region 31. Under current application conditions, the temperature generated in the high temperature region 31 will be higher than the temperature in other regions of the heat generation region 21.

[0031] For example, the conductive traces 30 form at least two high temperature areas 31 and multiple low temperature areas (not shown) in the heat generating area 21. The material of the conductive traces 30 includes silver and iron, where the resistance of the iron is greater than the resistance of the silver. The iron is disposed at the positions corresponding to the high temperature areas 31, and the silver is disposed at other positions in the heat generating area 21.

[0032] For example, the conductive traces 30 form at least two high temperature regions 31, a plurality of medium temperature regions (not shown) and a plurality of low temperature regions in the heat generating region 21. The materials of the conductive traces 30 include silver, gold and iron, where silver has the lowest resistance and iron has the highest resistance. The iron is placed at the positions corresponding to the high temperature regions 31, the gold is placed at the positions corresponding to the medium temperature regions, and the silver is placed at the positions corresponding to the low temperature regions.

[0033] It should be noted that the above-mentioned medium temperature region and low temperature region are merely illustrative. Specifically, the temperature at which the aerosol-generating matrix is heated in the non-heating and non-combustion manner is usually 240°C to 350°C, the temperature of the above-mentioned high temperature region 31 is 330°C to 350°C, and the temperature of the low temperature region is 240°C or higher. That is, the temperatures of the medium temperature region and the low temperature region are 240°C to 330°C, and the temperature of the medium temperature region is higher than that of the low temperature region. Specifically, these can be set according to actual needs.

[0034] 5 to 8, in another embodiment, the conductive trace 30 includes only one material, and the conductive trace 30 is folded multiple times at a position corresponding to the high temperature region 31 to form a folded portion 32. Here, the shape of the conductive trace 30 in the region of the folded portion 32 may be at least one of an acute angle, a right angle, an obtuse angle, and an arc shape, or a combination thereof, and is not limited here. Specifically, the bending of the metal changes the resistance of the folded portion, which generally appears as an increase in resistance, so that under a current-carrying condition, the amount of heat generated at the folded portion 32 is large and the temperature is high, thereby forming the high temperature region 31 in the heat generating region 21.

[0035] In addition, since the distribution density of the conductive trace 30 in the bent portion 32 is greater than the distribution density of the conductive trace 30 in the unfolded area, under electrical current conditions, the bent portion 32 of the same unit area generates more heat and has a higher temperature than the unfolded area, thereby forming a high-temperature area 31 in the heat generation area 21.

[0036] 6, 9 and 10, in order to avoid the heating temperature of each region on the heating assembly 100 being uneven, for example, under an energized condition, the heating temperature of one end of the heating assembly 100 is high and the heating temperature of the other end is low, and during the user's inhalation process, the temperature of the high temperature region 31 becomes higher and the temperature of the low temperature region becomes lower, which may result in the risk of excessive heating and cause fatigue cracks and increased fatigue resistance of the conductive trace 30 in the high temperature region 31, shortening the service life. In one embodiment, in order to avoid this, under an energized condition, the conductive trace 30 is configured to form at least one high temperature region 31 at both ends of the heating region 21 along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, so that both the upper and lower ends of the heating region 21 can sufficiently heat the aerosol-generating matrix, so that the heating assembly 100 can uniformly, quickly and more fully heat and atomize the aerosol-generating matrix, while avoiding the risk of excessive heating, fatigue cracks of the conductive trace 30, and increased fatigue resistance.

[0037] 6, 9 and 10, in some embodiments, the conductive trace 30 includes two sub-conductive traces 33, which are arranged in series or in parallel, and both of the two sub-conductive traces 33 form at least one high temperature region 31 in the heat generating region 21.

[0038] In a specific embodiment, referring to FIG. 6 , each of the two sub-conductive traces 33 includes one connection end (not shown) and one free end 331, the connection ends of the two sub-conductive traces 33 are connected to each other, and the free ends 331 of the two sub-conductive traces 33 are used to electrically connect to the positive and negative poles of the power assembly 200.

[0039] In another specific embodiment, referring to FIG. 9, two sub-conductive traces 33 are connected end to end to form a circular conductive trace. Two extensions 332 are provided on the circular conductive trace, and the two extensions 332 are used to electrically connect with the positive and negative poles of the power supply assembly 200. Specifically, one extension 332 is provided at the bottom end of the circular conductive trace along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, and the other extension 332 is disposed at the top of the circular conductive trace along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, and extends from the other surface of the substrate 20 on which the sub-conductive trace 33 is not provided to the bottom end of the substrate 20. For example, it extends from the back surface of the surface on which the sub-conductive trace 33 is provided to the bottom end of the substrate 20.

[0040] As can be seen, referring to FIG. 10, in another parallel embodiment, the two extensions 332 are both disposed at the center of the sub-conductive trace 33 along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, and are disposed at an interval. For example, the two extensions 332 are extended from the other surface of the substrate 20 on which the sub-conductive trace 33 is not disposed to the bottom end of the substrate 20, and are used to electrically connect with the positive and negative poles of the power supply assembly 200. In some embodiments, referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 11, the two sub-conductive traces 33 are disposed on both sides of the center line M of the substrate 20, respectively, and are disposed symmetrically or asymmetrically with respect to the center line M of the substrate 20. Here, the center line M of the substrate 20 represents the center line along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20. By adjusting the positions of the two sub-conductive traces 33 on the substrate 20, the heating effect is better, and thus a good suction experience can be realized.

[0041] 6, the two sub-conductive traces 33 are disposed on both sides of the center line M of the substrate 20, respectively, and are disposed asymmetrically with respect to the center line M of the substrate 20. Each of the two sub-conductive traces 33 includes a bent portion 32 capable of forming a high temperature region 31 under an energized condition, and one of the bent portions 32 is disposed at a top end position of the substrate 20 offset from the center line M of the substrate 20 along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, and the other of the bent portion 32 is disposed at a bottom end position of the substrate 20 offset from the center line M of the substrate 20 along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20. Specifically, one of the sub-conductive traces 33 forms a high temperature region 31 at one end of the heat generating region 21 along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, and the other of the sub-conductive traces 33 forms a high temperature region 31 at the other end of the heat generating region 21 along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20, so that the heating assembly 100 can heat the aerosol-generating matrix more uniformly and achieve a better inhalation experience.

[0042] 11 , the two sub-conductive traces 33 are disposed on either side of the center line M of the substrate 20, respectively, and are disposed symmetrically with respect to the center line M of the substrate 20. Each of the two sub-conductive traces 33 includes a bent portion 32 that can form a high temperature region 31 under an energized condition, and the two bent portions 32 are disposed symmetrically with respect to the center line M of the substrate 20. Specifically, one of the sub-conductive traces 33 forms a high temperature region 31 on one side of the heat generation region 21, and the other of the sub-conductive traces 33 forms a high temperature region 31 on the other side of the heat generation region 21, so that the heat generation assembly 100 can more fully heat the aerosol-generating matrix, thereby achieving a better inhalation experience.

[0043] In one embodiment, the substrate 20 further includes a non-heat-generating region 22 (see FIG. 5 ) where the conductive traces 30 are not installed, and the heat-generating region 21 and the non-heat-generating region 22 are adjacently installed along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 20. Specifically, at least a part of the non-heat-generating region 22 is used to be fixedly connected to the housing 301, and a connection medium between the conductive traces 30 and the power supply assembly 200 is installed in the non-heat-generating region 22. Here, the connection medium may be a metal wire or a conductive coating for connecting the conductive traces 30 and the power supply assembly 200. It will be understood that due to the presence of the metal wire or the conductive coating, the non-heat-generating region 22 does not generate heat at all under a current-carrying condition, and a small amount of heat is still generated, but can be ignored.

[0044] In some embodiments, the heat generating assembly 100 further includes a mounting seat (not shown), which is fixedly connected to the heat generating assembly 100, thereby mounting the heat generating assembly 100 within the housing 301 via the mounting seat. Specifically, the material of the mounting seat may be an organic material or an inorganic material having a melting point of 160 degrees or higher. Specifically, the mounting seat is fixed to the heat generating assembly 100 by an engagement structure or an adhesive, which may be an adhesive that can withstand high temperatures.

[0045] In one embodiment, referring to FIG. 4, a tip 211 is formed at the end of the heating region 21 away from the non-heating region 22, thereby reducing resistance when the heating assembly 100 is inserted into the aerosol generating product 10.

[0046] 5, in one embodiment, the heating assembly 100 further includes a first electrode 34 and a second electrode 35 spaced apart from each other in the non-heating region 22, and the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 are used to electrically connect the conductive trace 30 to the power supply assembly 200. One of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 is electrically connected to a first end of the conductive trace 30, and the other of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 is electrically connected to a second end of the conductive trace 30. Specifically, when the conductive trace 30 is an open conductive trace 30 or two serially connected sub-conductive traces 33, one of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 is electrically connected to one free end 331 of the conductive trace 30, and the other of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 is electrically connected to the other free end 331 of the conductive trace 30. When the conductive trace 30 consists of two parallel-connected sub-conductive traces 33, one of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 is electrically connected to one extension 332 of the annular conductive trace, and the other of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 is electrically connected to the other extension 332 of the annular conductive trace. In this embodiment, both the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 are conductive lead wires.

[0047] 5, in one embodiment, the heating assembly 100 further includes a protective layer 36, which is coated on the substrate 20 and covers the conductive traces 30, the first electrode 34, and the second electrode 35 to prevent aerosols formed upon heating the aerosol-generating matrix from damaging the first electrode 34, the second electrode 35, and the conductive traces 30. Here, the protective layer 36 may be a glass glaze layer.

[0048] In a specific embodiment, the protective layer 36 is applied only to the surface of the substrate 20 on which the conductive traces 30, the first electrode 34, and the second electrode 35 are placed, thereby preventing the conductive traces 30, the first electrode 34, and the second electrode 35 from being damaged or falling off.

[0049] In another embodiment, the protective layer 36 can also cover the entire substrate 20, thereby protecting the entire heat generating assembly 100 and providing the heat generating assembly 100 with a smooth surface to further reduce resistance when the heat generating assembly 100 is inserted into the aerosol generating product 100.

[0050] In one embodiment, the substrate 20 is an insulating substrate, for example, the substrate 20 is a sheet-shaped insulating ceramic, and the conductive trace 30 is disposed on one surface of the insulating substrate. Here, the substrate 20 made of insulating ceramic may have a thermal conductivity of 4 to 18 W / (m·k), a bending strength of 600 MPa or more, a thermal stability of more than 450 degrees, and a fire resistance of more than 1450 degrees. Here, the substrate 20 may further be a ZTA material (zirconia-toughened alumina ceramic) or MTA (a composite of mullite and alumina).

[0051] In another embodiment, the substrate 20 may further include a conductive substrate 23 that is not insulated. For example, the substrate 20 may include a sheet-like metal substrate and an insulating layer 24 disposed on the surface of the metal substrate. The conductive traces 30 are disposed on the insulating layer 24 on the side away from the conductive substrate 23. The conductive traces 30 can increase the strength of the heating assembly 100, prevent bending or breaking of the heating assembly 100, and can diffuse the heat generated when the conductive traces 30 are energized to the aerosol-generating matrix in contact with the substrate 20, thereby improving the heat receiving uniformity of the aerosol-generating matrix. The material of the substrate 20 may further be a new composite zirconia material, which can retain and transfer the heat generated by the conductive traces 30, thereby improving the energy utilization rate of the heating assembly 100.

[0052] The above is an embodiment of the present application, and does not limit the patent scope of the present application. Any equivalent structure or equivalent process transformation made by utilizing the contents of the specification and drawings of the present application, or directly or indirectly applicable to other related technical fields, is similarly included in the patent protection scope of the present application.
