Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of [(2S)-1-(4-{[(3-chloro-4-methoxyphenyl)methyl]amino}-5-{[(pyrimidin-2-yl)methyl]carbamoyl}pyrimidin-2-yl)pyrrolidin-2-yl]methyl 6-(nitrooxy)hexanoate for the treatment of anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. The compound improves ocular blood flow and also improves visual field and visual acuity in patients.
