Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a guide module and a drive device equipped with the same, and more particularly to a guide module that can smoothly guide the movement of a moving unit mounted on a pinion while preventing slippage when the moving unit moves along a straight or curved trajectory of a rack, thereby achieving stable operation of the moving unit, and a drive device equipped with the same. [Background technology]

[0002] The actuator can be applied to various industrial equipment including semiconductor equipment, flat display equipment such as LCD, PDP, and OLED to realize linear or curved motion.

[0003] In this case, the moving unit, which is a pair of moving objects constituting the drive device, can move linearly or curvedly through the interaction between the rack and the pinion. For example, if the rack is linear, the moving unit can move linearly through the interaction with the pinion, and if the rack is curved, the moving unit can move curvedly through the interaction with the pinion.

[0004] Based on this structure and function, the rack, pinion, and moving unit can be appropriately combined to realize linear or curved motion of the moving unit, and various industrial equipment and facilities can be used according to the process. For example, it can be used in a transportation process where an article is loaded on the moving unit and transported.

[0005] On the other hand, in a combination of a rack and a pinion, if the pinion moves linearly or curvedly alone along the trajectory of the rack, the weight of the pinion is not large, so there are no obstacles to the driving of the pinion.

[0006] However, as mentioned above, when a moving unit, which is a heavy body, is mounted on the pinion and an article is placed on it and the moving unit must move and operate by the action of the rack and pinion, a means for guiding the movement of the moving unit is required. If the movement of the moving unit is not guided, it will be difficult to achieve stable operation of the moving unit, and especially when the moving unit, which is a heavy body, or an article placed on it is moved, a large load will be placed on the rack and pinion, reducing the durability of the device.

[0007] However, in the case of the conventional technology which embodies a drive device by the interaction between a rack and a pinion, a means for guiding the movement of a moving unit mounted on a pinion, for example, a guide module, has never been applied, or even if a guide module is disclosed, due to its structural limitations, slippage may occur when moving from a curved trajectory to a straight trajectory or from a straight trajectory to a curved trajectory, that is, when moving ... so that technological development to complement this is necessary. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0031] For a fuller understanding of the invention, its operating advantages, and the objects attained by its practice, reference should be made to the accompanying drawings in which a preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated and the contents thereof.

[0032] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will now be described in detail by way of preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which like reference numerals in different drawings refer to like elements.

[0033] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a drive unit according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of area A of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a drawing in which the module rail in FIG. 2 has been removed, FIG. 4 is a drawing in which the moving unit in FIG. 2 has been removed, FIG. 5 is a bottom perspective view of FIG. 4, FIG. 6 is a drawing in which the removable block cover in FIG. 5 has been removed, FIG. 7 is a diagram showing the arrangement of a pinion and a rack, FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of area B of FIG. 4 in which an anti-slip guide assembly is arranged on a rail block, FIG. 9 is a drawing showing FIG. 8 from another angle, FIG. 10 is a drawing in which the rail block in FIG. 8 has been removed, FIG. 11 is an exploded perspective view of FIG. 10, FIG. 12 is a perspective view of a unit guide unit, FIG. 13 is an exploded perspective view of FIG. 12, FIG. 14 is a perspective view of a roller support casing, and FIG. 15 is a rear perspective view of FIG. 13.

[0034] As shown in these drawings, the driving device according to the present embodiment can be applied to various industrial equipment including semiconductor equipment, flat display equipment such as LCD, PDP, OLED, etc., to realize linear or curved motion, and the guide module 130 of the driving device according to the present embodiment can guide the movement of the moving unit 120 mounted on the pinion 100 when the moving unit 120 moves along the trajectory of the rack 110. Of course, the driving device according to the present embodiment may be applied to other industrial sites besides semiconductor equipment or flat display equipment.

[0035] For example, if a conveying means widely applied to equipment processes such as semiconductor equipment or flat display equipment is considered to be the moving unit 120, the moving unit 120 can be mounted on the pinion 100 and then move along the trajectory of the rack 110 through the interaction between the pinion 100 and the rack 110 to perform the process in question, i.e., the conveying process of conveying an item.

[0036] In this case, unlike the conventional art, in this embodiment, the moving unit 120 can move while being stably guided when transporting an item. As in this embodiment, if the moving unit 120 mounted on the pinion 100 can be guided when moving along the trajectory of the rack 110 together with the pinion 100, the moving unit 120 can operate stably and a decrease in durability due to an overload on the device can be prevented. Therefore, practical equipment or facility application is possible.

[0037] The drive device according to this embodiment, which can provide such an effect, may include a moving unit 120 mounted on a pinion 100 that interacts with a rack 110 and moves along the trajectory of the rack 110 together with the pinion 100, and a guide module 130 arranged on both sides of the rack 110, connected to the moving unit 120, and guiding the movement of the moving unit 120 that moves along the trajectory of the rack 110 together with the pinion 100.

[0038] The driving device according to this embodiment transmits power by the interaction between the rack 110 and the pinion 100. That is, when the pinion driving unit 105 (see FIG. 7) connected to the pinion 100 operates to rotate the pinion 100, the pinion 100 can move along the trajectory of the rack 110, and since the moving unit 120 is mounted on the pinion 100, the moving unit 120 can move along the trajectory of the rack 110 together with the pinion 100.

[0039] As described above, the moving unit 120 is a carrier applicable to equipment processes such as semiconductor equipment or flat display equipment. Therefore, in the drawings of the present embodiment, the moving unit 120 is illustrated as a plate of a certain thickness so that an item can be placed on the moving unit 120. However, the moving unit 120 does not necessarily have to be a carrier, and may be applied as, for example, an index, and the scope of the present invention is not limited to the shape of the drawings.

[0040] As shown in the drawings, if the moving unit 120 has a large area, there is a risk that the moving unit 120 may shake when the moving unit 120 moves, so it is desirable to guide the moving unit 120 so that it does not shake. That is, when the size of the moving unit 120 is large as shown in Fig. 1, the guide module 130 can be arranged around the rack 110 to guide the movement of the moving unit 120. In this case, it is possible to achieve a more stable operation, such as preventing the moving unit 120 from shaking when it moves.

[0041] Meanwhile, as described above, the driving device according to the present embodiment has a method in which the moving unit 120 moves by the interaction between the pinion 100 and the rack 110. Therefore, before describing the guide module 130, the pinion 100 and the rack 110 will be described first.

[0042] 4 to 7, the pinion 100 rotates in contact with the rack 110, i.e., in contact with the circumferential surface of the rack 110, and performs linear or curvilinear motion along the trajectory of the rack 110. Of course, the pinion 100 may be inscribed in the rack 110.

[0043] The pinion 100 may include a pinion body 101 having a disk shape, and a number of power transmission pins 102 coupled to the pinion body 101. The power transmission pins 102 have a circular arrangement structure in the pinion body 101, and rotate in mesh with a rack 110.

[0044] A pinion driver 105 is connected to the pinion 100 to rotate the power transmission pin 102. The pinion driver 105 may be a motor and a gear component, and serves to rotate the pinion 100. When the pinion driver 105 rotates the pinion 100, the pinion 100 can move along the trajectory of the rack 110.

[0045] The rack 110 defines a trajectory along which the pinion 100 moves. As shown in Figs. 1 and 7, in this embodiment, the rack 110 may have a closed loop structure consisting of a combination of a rack straight portion 110a and a rack curved portion 110b. Of course, depending on the equipment, only the rack straight portion 110a or only the rack curved portion 110b may be used. However, in semiconductor equipment and the like, a combination of the rack straight portion 110a and the rack curved portion 110b is often used.

[0046] As described above, the moving unit 120 is a structure that is mounted on the pinion 100 and moves along the trajectory of the rack 110 together with the pinion 100. In this embodiment, the moving unit 120 is applied as a flat plate-shaped structure.

[0047] In this embodiment, the moving unit 120 may be connected to the pinion 100. That is, the moving unit 120 is assembled to the pinion driver 105 connected to the pinion 100 by a number of bolts. Therefore, the pinion 100, the pinion driver 105, and the moving unit 120 operate together as one body. In addition, a pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150 forming the guide module 130 are also assembled to the moving unit 120. As a result, the remaining components except for the rack 110 and the module rail 140 in FIG. 1 are assembled as an integrated unit, and move along the trajectory of the rack 110 while being guided by the module rail 140.

[0048] Meanwhile, the guide module 130 is connected to the moving unit 120 and serves to guide the movement of the moving unit 120 which moves along the trajectory of the rack 110. The moving unit 120 can also be implemented as a method in which the moving unit 120 is connected to the pinion 100 and the pinion 100 moves along the trajectory of the rack 110, but as described above, in this case, the moving unit 120 may vibrate violently when it moves. Therefore, the guide module 130 is applied so that the moving unit 120 does not vibrate and can stably move and be guided.

[0049] The guide module 130 includes a pair of module rails 140 and a pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150, one side of which is movably coupled to each of the pair of module rails 140, and which are integrally connected to the moving unit 120 together with the pinion 100 to move along the trajectory of the module rails 140 while guiding the movement of the moving unit 120 while preventing slippage.

[0050] The module rail 140 may include a rail block 141 and a removable block cover 142 that covers and protects the rail block 141 and is detachably coupled to the rail block 141. In the present embodiment, a pair of module rails 140 are disposed on both sides of the rack 110.

[0051] The pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150 are integral parts, one side of which is movably coupled to the pair of module rails 140, respectively, and which are connected to the moving unit 120 together with the pinion 100. That is, one anti-slip guide assembly 150 is coupled to one module rail 140. Therefore, the pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150 have the same structure. Each of the pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150 includes a plurality of unit guide units 160 and a unit connector 190.

[0052] The unit guide unit 160 is essentially a means for mounting rollers 161-163 and moving on the rail block 141 of the module rail 140. In this embodiment, six unit guide units 160 can be applied. All six unit guide units 160 have the same configuration and structure.

[0053] 8 to 11, the unit connection part 190 is a means for integrally connecting a plurality of unit guide units 160 so that the unit guide units 160 can move or rotate relative to one another on the rail block 141. In other words, the unit connection part 190 is provided so that six unit guide units 160 can move or rotate relative to one another.

[0054] Such a unit connection portion 190 may include a main unit body 191 connected to a pair of unit guide units 160 arranged in the center among the plurality of unit guide units 160, and a plurality of individual unit connection stands 192 that individually connect each pair of unit guide units 160 arranged on one side and the other side among the plurality of unit guide units 160.

[0055] In addition, the unit connection part 190 may further include a pair of center bearings 193 respectively coupled to both sides of the main unit body 191, a plurality of side bearings 194 respectively provided at the center of the individual unit connection bases 192, and a pair of link arms 195 having both ends freely rotatably coupled to the center bearing 193 and the side bearings 194, respectively.

[0056] In this manner, the main unit body 191 is connected to a pair of unit guide units 160 disposed in the center, and individual unit connection stands 192 are connected to each pair of unit guide units 160 on both sides thereof, while center bearings 193 and side bearings 194 are applied to these and connected with link arms 195, thereby enabling relative movement or relative rotation with respect to the unit guide units 160. In particular, among the plurality of unit guide units 160, each pair of unit guide units 160 disposed on one side and the other side also serves as a steering function.

[0057] The unit guide units 160 are essentially means for mounting rollers 161 to 163 and moving on the rail blocks 141 of the module rails 140, and six of them have the same configuration.

[0058] 8 to 15, the unit guide unit 160 includes an upper roller 161, a lower roller 162, and a side roller 163 that are guided by rolling contact with the upper surface, lower surface, and side surface of the rail block 141 that forms the module rail 140. All of the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162, and the side roller 163 are unpowered, free-rotating rollers.

[0059] The unit guide unit 160 includes a roller support casing 180 that rotatably supports the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162, and the side roller 163, and has a structure in which the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162, and the side roller 163 are rotatably connected to the roller support casing 180 according to positions through the following configuration and structure.

[0060] An upper flat guide 171, a lower flat guide 172 and a side flat guide 173 are provided in the unit guide unit 160 so that the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162 and the side roller 163 can be rotatably coupled to the roller support casing 180 at different positions.

[0061] The upper flat guide 171 is a flat structure that is connected to the upper roller 161 to prevent slipping when the upper roller 161 rolls and rotates on the upper surface of the rail block 141, and is connected to the upper connection port 181 of the roller support casing 180 so that the clearance can be adjusted.

[0062] The lower flat guide 172 is also a flat structure and is connected to the lower roller 162 to prevent slipping when the lower roller 162 rolls and rotates on the underside of the rail block 141, and is connected to the lower connection port 182 of the roller support casing 180 so that the clearance can be adjusted.

[0063] The side flat guide 173 is also a flat structure and is connected to the side roller 163 to prevent slipping when the side roller 163 rolls and rotates on the side of the rail block 141, and is connected to the side connection port 183 of the roller support casing 180 so that the clearance can be adjusted.

[0064] In order to assemble the upper flat guide 171, the lower flat guide 172 and the side flat guide 173 to the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162 and the side roller 163, respectively, an upper guide assembly 165, a lower guide assembly 166 and a side guide assembly 167 are provided.

[0065] The upper guide assembly 165 is a means for assembling the upper roller 161 and the upper flat guide 171 using screws, the lower guide assembly 166 is a means for assembling the lower roller 162 and the lower flat guide 172 using screws, and the side guide assembly 167 is a means for assembling the side roller 163 and the side flat guide 173 using screws as well.

[0066] In order to assemble the upper flat guide 171, the lower flat guide 172 and the side flat guide 173, which are assembled with the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162 and the side roller 163 by the upper guide assembly part 165, the lower guide assembly part 166 and the side guide assembly part 167, respectively, to the roller support casing 180, an upper guide fastening plate 174, a lower guide fastening plate 175, a side guide fastening plate 176 and fastening bolts 177 are provided.

[0067] The upper guide fastening plate 174 is a means for fastening the upper flat guide 171 on the opposite side of the upper flat guide 171 across the upper connection opening 181 of the roller support casing 180 .

[0068] The lower guide fastening plate 175 is a means for fastening the lower flat guide 172 on the opposite side of the lower flat guide 172 across the lower connection opening 182 of the roller support casing 180 .

[0071] In this way, by disposing upper guide fastening plates 174, lower guide fastening plates 175 and side guide fastening plates 176 on the upper flat guide 171, lower flat guide 172 and side flat guide 173, which are assembled with the upper roller 161, lower roller 162 and side roller 163 by the upper guide assembly part 165, lower guide assembly part 166 and side guide assembly part 167, respectively, and fastening them with fastening bolts 177 at the corresponding positions, it is possible to eliminate the central separation phenomenon of the upper roller 161, lower roller 162 and side roller 163. That is, in the conventional roller shaft structure, there is a high possibility that the central separation phenomenon occurs during use, but in the present embodiment, the conventional problem can be solved by applying the upper guide fastening plate 174 and the upper flat guide 171, the lower guide fastening plate 175 and the lower flat guide 172, and the side guide fastening plate 176 and the side flat guide 173 when connecting the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162, and the side roller 163 to the roller support casing 180. Therefore, when the guide module 130 to which such a unit guide unit 160 is applied is applied, there is an advantage that slippage can be minimized when turning (moving) on a curve and a straight line-curve.

[0072] In addition, a preload bolt 178 is further applied to the unit guide unit 160 of this embodiment. The preload bolt 178 is fastened to the roller support casing 180 and serves to apply a preload for adjusting the clearance between the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162 and the side roller 163.

[0073] As described above, the pinion 100 is coupled to the rack 110, and the guide modules 130 are arranged around the rack 110. With the moving unit 120 coupled to the multiple guide modules 130 and the pinion 100, when the pinion 100 rotates, the moving unit 120 can move along the trajectory of the rack 110. In this case, the guide modules 130 are applied, so that the moving unit 120 can move stably.

[0074] In particular, the efficient structure of the above-mentioned unit guide unit 160, i.e., the efficient assembly structure of the upper roller 161, the lower roller 162 and the side roller 163, can minimize slippage when the moving unit 120 turns on a curve and a straight-curve turn.

[0075] According to this embodiment, which operates with the structure described above, when the moving unit 120 mounted on the pinion 100 moves along the straight or curved trajectory of the rack 110, the movement of the moving unit 120 can be smoothly guided without causing slippage, thereby enabling the moving unit 120 to operate stably.

[0076] FIG. 16 is a perspective view of a drive device according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 17 is an enlarged view of area C in FIG.

[0077] In the above-described embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, a pair of module rails 140 are disposed on either side of the rack 110 .

[0078] However, in this embodiment, a pair of module rails 240 are disposed on one side of the rack 210. That is, in this embodiment, the module rails 240 are also applied as a pair, and such a pair of module rails 240 are disposed on one side of the rack 210.

[0079] The rack 210 interacting with the pinion 100 has a different trajectory from that of the previously described embodiment, and is therefore given a different reference number in the drawings.

[0080] 16 and 17, the configuration of the moving unit 120 (see FIG. 2) is omitted, but the moving unit 120 moves along the trajectory of the rack 210 while being integrated with the pinion 100 and the pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150 as in the above-described embodiment. The structure, function and role of the pair of anti-slip guide assemblies 150 are the same as in the above-described embodiment, so a duplicated description will be omitted. Even when this embodiment is applied, the effects of the present invention can be provided.

[0081] Thus, the present invention is not limited to the described embodiments, and it is obvious to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, such modifications and variations should be considered to fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention. [Industrial Applicability]

[0082] The present invention can be used in industrial machinery and equipment, semiconductor or flat panel display manufacturing equipment, and various types of logistics transport equipment.
