AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing RFID tags in tires face challenges in arranging antennas for efficient signal transmission, durability under tire stress, adhesion to rubber, and avoiding metal interference, while requiring additional coating or processing during tire manufacturing.

Method used

An RFID tag design with a plastic package housing the chip and antenna, featuring a bobbin with coil windings and reinforcing materials, allowing direct embedding in tire layers without extra coating, and adhering to minimize handling and damage.

Benefits of technology

Improves durability, signal strength, and reduces manufacturing complexity by embedding the RFID tag directly in the tire without additional processing, ensuring reliable communication and reduced handling.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an electrical device having an antenna design for embedding an electronic device during tire manufacturing to improve durability, fatigue performance, and signal level. The electrical device of the present invention includes an antenna having an appropriate adhesive coating. The electrical device of the present invention provides an immediately usable tag that can be embedded in a tire without requiring additional coating or other processing, thereby reducing the operation process in the manufacture of a tire in which an RFID tag is embedded. Further, the present invention eliminates the need for a rubber patching / layering process during the preparation of the electrical device.
