Abstract

To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing it from taking time more than necessary when an initial operation is temporarily interrupted in the case of simultaneously executing initial setting and the initial operation.SOLUTION: A main body including an image forming unit, a display unit configured to display various setting screens, an operation unit configured to receive an operation of a user, a storage unit configured to store a value of an initial setting of the user and a sequence of processing related to a predetermined initial operation, and a control unit configured to control the image forming unit, the display unit, the operation unit, and the storage unit, the image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein when it is determined that a predetermined stop factor of the initial operation has occurred, a screen indicating the stop factor of the initial operation is displayed on the display unit in preference to the screen of the initial setting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
