Abstract

The objective is to provide a control device for an internal combustion engine that can adjust the amount of fuel injected. [Solution] A control device for an internal combustion engine comprising: an injection control unit that controls a first fuel injection valve provided in the cylinder of the internal combustion engine; a prediction unit that predicts the load ratio of the internal combustion engine; and a setting unit that determines the required amount of fuel injection based on the predicted load ratio, wherein if the predicted load ratio is greater than the actual load ratio, the injection control unit injects a first amount less than the required amount from the first fuel injection valve.
