Abstract

This invention provides a technology that allows for the omission of a refractometer in a liquid dispensing device. [Solution] The liquid dispensing device comprises a liquid dispensing head having a nozzle for dispensing liquid as droplets, a first measuring unit configured to irradiate the liquid dispensed from the nozzle with laser light and used to measure the phase difference of the laser light that has passed through the liquid, a second measuring unit used to measure the velocity of the liquid dispensed from the nozzle, and a processor. The processor performs information processing to determine the concentration of the liquid using the phase difference information and the velocity information.
