Abstract
Claims
1. A device having a first side and a second side, wherein the device comprises at least two first contact charging pads on the first side of the device, and at least two contact charging pads accessible on the second side of the device.
2. The device according to claim 1, which is an aerosol supply device.
3. The device according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising at least two second contact charging pads on the second side of the device.
4. The device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the first contact charging pad is accessible from both the first and second sides of the device.
5. The device according to claim 4, wherein each of the first charging pads extends around the device.
6. The device according to claim 5, wherein each of the first charging pads is a ring extending around the device.
7. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the first side is substantially opposite to the second side.
8. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the first and second sides of the device form part of the same surface of the device.
9. A device comprising at least two first contact charging pads, each of which is arranged such that a region or point on the contact charging pad lies within or on a first common plane.
10. The device according to claim 9, further comprising a housing, wherein the housing is located below the first common plane.
11. The device according to claim 9 or 10, wherein the device has a first side and a second side, the first contact charging pad is provided on the first side of the device, and at least two contact charging pads are accessible on the second side of the device.
12. The device according to claim 11, further comprising at least two second contact charging pads on the second side of the device, wherein the at least two second contact charging pads are arranged such that an area or point on each second contact charging pad is in or on a second common plane.
13. The device according to claim 11 or 12, wherein the first contact charging pad is accessible from both the first and second sides of the device.
14. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein the device is configured to transmit data via one or more of the contact charging pads.
15. The device according to claim 14, wherein the data is transmitted using a data overpower protocol.
16. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 15, wherein the device is a long device.
17. A non-flammable aerosol supply device comprising the device described in any one of claims 1 to 16.
18. An aerosol supply device, wherein the aerosol supply device has a first side and a second side, and the aerosol supply device comprises at least two first contact charging pads on the first side of the device, and the at least two first contact charging pads are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance.
19. The aerosol supply device according to claim 18, wherein the aerosol supply device is a long device, and the at least two first contact charging pads are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance in the long direction.
20. The aerosol supply device according to claim 18 or 19, wherein the at least two first contact charging pads are accessible on the second side of the device.
21. The aerosol supply device according to any one of claims 18 to 20, wherein each of the first charging pads extends around the device.
22. The aerosol supply device according to any one of claims 18 to 21, wherein the device is configured to transmit data via one or more of the contact charging pads.
23. An electronic smoking product comprising an aerosol supply device according to any one of claims 17 to 22.
24. A method for charging a device, A method comprising the step of positioning the device on a charging mat such that at least two contact charging pads provided on a first side of the device are in contact with different charging points on the charging mat.
25. The method according to claim 24, wherein the at least two first contact charging pads are arranged such that a region or point on each contact charging pad is in or on a first common plane, and the device comprises a housing below the first common plane so that the contact charging pads can contact the charging mat.
26. The method according to claim 24 or 25, wherein the at least two contact charging pads are accessible on the second side of the device.
27. The method according to any one of claims 24 to 26, further comprising the step of transmitting data to and from the device via one or more of the contact charging pads.
