Abstract
An energy storage and discharge system comprising: one or more current pickup points of an AC source supplied by a predetermined power grid, a plurality of storage battery groups charged by a DC source converted from the AC source, a discharge resource which discharges or generates power using the DC source charged into one of the plurality of storage battery groups, and a connecting means which connects AC power discharged by or generated by the discharge resource to the predetermined power grid, wherein the one or more current pickup points of the AC source have one or more current pickup points which, with the exception of one point where the AC power discharged or generated by the discharge resource is connected to the power grid, are arranged from a top to a bottom with respect to the predetermined power grid.
