Abstract

We provide technology to ensure push notifications are delivered correctly. [Solution] The information processing system comprises a first server that converts pages provided by a web server into images, a second server that receives user notifications created by the web server, and a terminal used by the user. The first server requests the second server to process the receipt of user notifications and sends control information to the terminal to control the receipt process. The terminal receives the control information from the first server and uses it to control the second server to receive user notifications through the receipt process. While the user is logged into the terminal, the second server receives the user notification through the receipt process and requests the terminal to display the user notification. While the user is logged into the terminal, the terminal displays the content of the user notification in response to the display request.
