Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a non-aqueous hair composition and a hair treatment method using the composition. [Background technology]
[0002] Treatment with a non-aqueous hair composition suitable as a leave-in treatment can impart a different feel to the hair compared to aqueous treatments. Volatile cyclic silicones are known as a common ingredient incorporated into non-aqueous hair compositions, but their supply is sometimes a concern due to the increasing global demand for cosmetics. Under these circumstances, there is a need to reduce the amount of volatile cyclic silicones used. As one solution to this, Patent Document 1 proposes a leave-in non-aqueous hair oil containing predetermined amounts of dimethicone, dimethiconol, and isododecane, and substantially free of cyclic silicones. [Prior art documents] [Patent Documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2018-100244 [Overview of the project] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]
[0004] Volatile hydrocarbons are considered potential alternatives to volatile cyclic silicones, and isododecane, a type of volatile hydrocarbon, is a suitable and inexpensive candidate. However, it has become clear that when isododecane is included, it can sometimes make hair that has been treated with a non-aqueous hair composition difficult to comb through when drying.
[0005] Furthermore, there are cases where a soft and smooth feel of the hair is desired, and in addition to improving the ease of combing the hair during drying as described above, a non-aqueous hair composition that is excellent in terms of softness and smoothness after drying is desirable.
[0006] In view of the above circumstances, the present invention aims to provide a non-aqueous hair composition that provides good manageability when drying hair and a good feel of softness and smoothness after drying, as well as a hair treatment method using the composition. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] As a result of the inventors' diligent research on non-aqueous hair compositions, (A) the kinematic viscosity at 37.8°C is 1.38 mm 2 / s or more 13.0mm 2 It was found that a non-aqueous hair composition containing (B) a hydrocarbon with a coefficient of 1 / s or less, (C) a volatile acyclic silicone and / or isododecane, and (A) a highly polymerized methylpolysiloxane and / or highly polymerized dimethiconol, with a concentration of 15% by mass or more of component (A), results in good manageability when drying hair to which the composition has been applied. Furthermore, it was found that a non-aqueous hair composition further containing (D) a compound having an ester bond with an organic value of 350 to 520 and an inorganic value of 70 to 240, maintains the same or better level of manageability while improving the softness and smoothness of the hair after drying.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0023] Based on the embodiments of the present invention, the present invention will be described below. The non-aqueous hair composition according to the present embodiment contains the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D), and the following component (A) is a non-aqueous hair composition having a predetermined blending amount. Further, as an optional component, components blended in a known non-aqueous hair composition may be blended in the non-aqueous hair composition according to the present embodiment. (A) Hydrocarbon having a predetermined kinematic viscosity (B) Volatile acyclic silicone and / or isododecane (C) Highly polymerized methylpolysiloxane and / or highly polymerized dimethiconol (D) A compound having an ester bond with an organic value of 350 or more and 520 or less and an inorganic value of 70 or more and 240 or less
[0024] Although the composition of the present embodiment is non-aqueous, this "non-aqueous" means that the external phase of the composition does not have an oil phase or an aqueous phase. And, when water is blended, separation of the aqueous phase and the oil phase and cloudiness of the composition are likely to occur. Therefore, it is preferable not to blend water. When water is blended, the blending amount is preferably less than 3.0% by mass, more preferably less than 1.0% by mass, still more preferably less than 0.5% by mass, further more preferably less than 0.1% by mass, and even more preferably less than 0.05% by mass.
[0025] (Component (A) Hydrocarbon having a predetermined kinematic viscosity) The hydrocarbon blended as component (A) in the non-aqueous hair composition of the present embodiment has a kinematic viscosity at 37.8 °C of 1.38 mm 2 / s or more and 13.0 mm 2 / s or less. This kinematic viscosity is preferably 1.40 mm 2 / s or more and 10.0 mm 2 / s or less, more preferably 1.40 mm 2 / s or more and 8.0 mm 2 / s or less, still more preferably 1.40 mm 2 / s or more and 5.0 mm 2 / s or less. When the kinematic viscosity is 1.40 mm 2If the component (A) is of a value of / s or higher, the smoothness of the hair after drying will be good, and 10.0mm 2 If the component (A) is less than or equal to / s, the hair will feel smoother to the touch when drying, and the hair will be softer, smoother, and more moisturized after drying.
[0026] The hydrocarbon component (A) should preferably have a flash point of 50°C or higher, 55°C or higher, 60°C or higher, 70°C or higher, or 80°C or higher. Furthermore, for good manageability when drying hair, as well as the softness, smoothness, and moisture of the hair after drying, the flash point of the hydrocarbon component (A) should preferably be 110°C or lower, preferably 100°C or lower, and more preferably 95°C or lower. The flash point should be measured by a known and suitable method. For example, Japanese Industrial Standard JIS K 2265 discloses that the Tag closure method is suitable when the flash point range is 93°C or lower, and that the Cleveland open method is suitable when the flash point range exceeds 79°C.
[0027] Component (A) is preferably one or more hydrocarbons selected from known hydrocarbons. Examples of known hydrocarbons for component (A) include light isoparaffins, light liquid isoparaffins, undecane / tridecane, and (C13-15) alkanes. The amount of component (A) in the non-aqueous hair composition of this embodiment is 15% by mass or more. To improve the moist feeling of the hair after drying, 20% by mass or more is good, 25% by mass or more is preferred, 30% by mass or more is more preferred, 35% by mass or more is even more preferred, and 40% by mass or more is even more preferred. Furthermore, to improve the ease of combing the hair when drying, and the softness and smoothness of the hair after drying, the amount of component (A) is preferably 80% by mass or less, preferably 70% by mass or less, more preferably 60% by mass or less, and even more preferably 55% by mass or less.
[0028] Light liquid isoparaffin is inexpensive among the components (A) and is therefore suitable for inclusion in the non-aqueous hair composition of this embodiment. In the non-aqueous hair composition of this embodiment, the amount of light liquid isoparaffin to be included should be more than 10% by mass, preferably more than 20% by mass, more preferably more than 30% by mass, and even more preferably more than 40% by mass, in order to improve the moist feeling of the hair after drying. Furthermore, the amount of light liquid isoparaffin to be included should be 80% by mass or less, preferably 70% by mass or less, more preferably 60% by mass or less, and even more preferably 55% by mass or less, in order to improve the ease of combing the hair when drying, and the softness and smoothness of the hair after drying.
[0029] (Component (B) Volatile acyclic silicone and / or isododecane) The non-aqueous hair composition of this embodiment contains component (B), which is a volatile acyclic silicone, isododecane, or a volatile acyclic silicone and isododecane. The non-aqueous hair composition of this embodiment may contain either a volatile acyclic silicone or isododecane, but it may also contain no volatile acyclic silicone or no isododecane. By including a highly volatile component (B), the hair to which the non-aqueous hair composition of this embodiment has been applied dries more easily.
[0030] The volatile acyclic silicone component (B) does not have a cyclic skeleton in its molecular structure, unlike volatile acyclic silicones such as octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane. Furthermore, the kinematic viscosity of the above volatile acyclic silicone at 25°C is 3.0 mm². 2 The temperature is less than / s, and to make hair drying easier, use 2.5mm. 2 / s or less is preferable, 2.0mm 2 Preferably less than / s (the lower limit of kinematic viscosity is set to, for example, 1.0 mm) 2 It should be at least / s.

The component used in this preparation was NOF Corporation's "Pearlream 4" (light liquid isoparaffin (kinematic viscosity 3.1 mm)). 2 / s·37.8℃, flash point 96℃), NOF Corporation's "Pearlream 3" (light isoparaffin (kinematic viscosity 1.4mm) 2 / s·37.8℃, flash point 61℃), Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd.'s "IP Solvent 2028" (light liquid isoparaffin, kinematic viscosity 2.6 mm) 2 / s·37.8℃, flash point 86℃), BASF Japan's "Cetiol Ultimate" (undecane / tridecane (flash point 74℃)), Nikko Chemicals' "NEOSSANCE HEMISQUALANE" ((C13-15) alkane (flash point 110℃)), MORESCO's "Moresco White P-70" (liquid paraffin (kinematic viscosity 13.5mm) 2 / s·37.8℃, flash point 130℃ or higher), LANXESS Distribution's "PUROLAN IDD" (isododecane (kinematic viscosity 1.35mm) 2 / s·37.8℃, flash point 45℃), KCC's "Sera Sence SF 1.5" (decamethyltetrasiloxane (1.5mm) 2 / s·25℃)), Dow Toray's "DOWSIL BY 25-320" (containing 20% high polymer methylpolysiloxane and 80% light liquid isoparaffin), Dow Toray's "DOWSIL SH200C FLUID 5cSt" (dimethylpolysiloxane (5mm 2 The formula is "XF42-C0330" (aminoethylaminopropylmethylsiloxane / dimethylsiloxane copolymer) manufactured by Momentive Performance Materials, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, PEG-2 stearate, dioctyl sebacate, isodecyl neopentanoate, diethoxyethyl succinate, glyceryl stearate, and ethylhexyl palmitate.
[0055] (Hair treatment) After wetting the hair strands with running water, the hair cleansing composition was rubbed in, lathered while combing with fingers, and then rinsed off with running water. Next, the hair strands were immersed in a mixture of hair cleansing composition and water in a mass ratio of 1:20, and ultrasonic cleaning was performed for 30 minutes. After that, the hair cleansing composition was thoroughly rinsed off the hair strands with running water. Then, 0.2g of any of the compositions from the Examples, Comparative Examples, and Reference Examples was applied to the wet hair strands, which had only been towel-dried, and the hair was dried with a hairdryer.
[0056] The details of the hair bundles and hair cleansing compositions used in the hair treatment are as follows. Hair bundles: Hair bundles created by bundling one end of hair collected from Japanese women. Each hair bundle is approximately 35 cm long and weighs approximately 10 g. Hair cleansing composition: 10% by mass aqueous solution of Kao Corporation's "Emal 227HP" sodium laureth sulfate-containing product.
[0057] (evaluation) Five evaluators performed sensory evaluations of the Examples and Comparative Examples for "ease of combing during drying," "softness after drying," and "smoothness after drying," while the Reference Example was evaluated solely for "ease of combing during drying." The evaluation of "ease of combing during drying" assessed how easily the hair strands could be combed during the drying process with a hairdryer. The evaluation of "softness after drying" assessed the soft feel of the hair strands after hair treatment with a hairdryer. The evaluation of "smoothness after drying" assessed the smooth feel of the hair strands after hair treatment with a hairdryer. For these evaluations, each evaluator assigned a score to their evaluation scale, and the average of these scores was used as the final evaluation.
[0058] As will be described later based on Tables 1 to 8 below, in the following examples and comparative examples, it can be confirmed that the addition of component (D) improves the "softness after drying" and "smoothness after drying," while maintaining the degree of "ease of handling after drying" compared to when component (D) is not present. Furthermore, in the reference example, it can be confirmed that the improvement in "ease of handling after drying" is achieved with the configuration of the present invention other than component (D).
[0059] Table 1 below shows the components, amounts, and evaluation results of the compositions for Examples 1a-1c and Comparative Examples 1a-1d. The evaluation scale used by the evaluators to determine the average score was as follows, with Comparative Example 1a as the baseline. Greatly better than the standard: 3 points Exceeding the standard: 2 points Standard or equivalent: 1 point Below average: 0 points
[0060] [Table 1]
[0061] In Table 1, Examples 1a to 1c, which contained component (D) with an organic value of 350 to 520 and an inorganic value of 70 to 240, tended to have better softness and smoothness after drying than Comparative Examples 1a to 1d, which did not contain component (D). Furthermore, the smoothness of Examples 1a to 1c after drying was equal to or better than that of Comparative Example 1a.
[0062] Table 2 below shows the components, amounts, and evaluation results of the compositions for Examples 2a-2c and Comparative Examples 2a-2b. The evaluation scale used by the evaluators to determine the average score was as follows, with Comparative Example 2a as the baseline. Much better than the standard: 3 points Exceeding the standard: 2 points Standard or equivalent: 1 point Below average: 0 points
[0063] [Table 2]
[0064] In Table 2, Examples 2a to 2c, which contained component (D) with an organic value of 350 to 520 and an inorganic value of 70 to 240, tended to have better softness and smoothness after drying than Comparative Examples 2a to 2b, which did not contain component (D). Furthermore, the smoothness of Examples 2a to 2c after drying was equal to or better than that of Comparative Example 2a.

[0066] [Table 3]
[0067] Table 3 shows that Reference Examples 1a to 1d, which contain components (A), (B), and (C) and have a concentration of 15% by mass or more of component (A), exhibited superior smoothness when dry compared to Reference Examples 1e to 1f, which contain less than 15% by mass of component (A). Furthermore, Reference Examples 1e to 1f, which contain hydrocarbons other than component (A) (liquid paraffin or isododecane), exhibited inferior smoothness when dry compared to Reference Examples 1a to 1d, indicating that increasing the concentration of component (A) is advantageous in terms of smoothness when dry.
[0068] Table 4 below shows the components, amounts, and evaluation results of the compositions related to Reference Examples 2a and 2b. The evaluation scale used by the evaluators to determine the average score is as follows, with Reference Example 2b as the standard. Exceeding the standard: 2 points Standard or equivalent: 1 point Below average: 0 points

[0075] [Table 6]
[0076] In the comparison of Reference Examples 4a-4b and 4c in Table 6, it can be confirmed that reducing the amount of component (A) was optimal for improving the smoothness of the hair when dry. Furthermore, in the comparison of Reference Examples 3a-3b and 3c, it can be confirmed that increasing the amount of component (B) was optimal for improving the smoothness of the hair when dry.
[0077] Table 7 below shows the components, amounts, and evaluation results of the compositions related to Reference Examples 5a to 5b. The evaluation scale used by the evaluators to determine the average score is as follows, with Reference Example 5b as the standard. Exceeding the standard: 2 points Standard or equivalent: 1 point Below average: 0 points
