Abstract

[Solution] A solenoid comprising a body having a main valve hole provided in the main passage and a mounting hole communicating with the main passage, a main valve body having a partition portion that separates a high-pressure chamber and a back-pressure chamber, a pilot passage formed through which a low-pressure chamber and a back-pressure chamber are connected, and which opens and closes the main valve by moving toward and toward the main valve hole, a pilot valve body that opens and closes the pilot valve by moving toward and toward a pilot valve hole provided in the pilot passage, a core fixed to the body, a plunger to which the pilot valve body is fixed, and an electromagnetic coil. The core includes a small-diameter portion facing the plunger in the axial direction inside the electromagnetic coil, and a large-diameter portion that is inserted through the mounting hole and assembled to the body, and which slidably passes through the partition portion of the main valve body, and has traces of the small-diameter portion and the large-diameter portion being integrally formed by forging and cutting of a material made of magnetic metal.
