The mobile terminal device 10 sends the variable-expiration-rate device challenge and the charge command back to the printer 20, and the printer 20 verifies the variable-expiration-rate device challenge within the expiration period indicated by the variable-expiration-rate device challenge, and if the verification is successful, executes processing according to the charge command.
