Abstract
This disclosure features novel lipid nanoparticle formulations and their uses. Lipid nanoparticles include cationic ionizable lipids, helper lipids, sterols, and complex lipids. Lipid nanoparticles further containing therapeutic and / or prophylactic agents such as DNA are useful for delivering therapeutic and / or prophylactic agents to cells or organs (e.g., mammalian cells or organs) to, for example, regulate the expression of polypeptides, proteins, or genes.
