Data Center Orchestrator

Abstract

The Cloud Infrastructure Orchestration Service (CIOS) may track build progress made by any appropriate number of regional orchestrators. The Cloud Infrastructure Orchestration System may include any appropriate number of regional orchestrators, each running in an isolated hosting environment (e.g., a service cell isolated from other service cells). The orchestrator control plane may be configured to generate build plans for bootstrapping multiple services within a data center, the build plans may be generated at least in part on service build definitions of multiple service build definitions, the service build definitions specify a deterministic process for bootstrapping the services of multiple services. The orchestrator control plane may instruct regional orchestrators to perform bootstrapping operations according to the build plans, and may track the progress of bootstrapping operations on a current-progress basis.
