Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a flip calendar with an improved structure of the binding part of the flip calendar from the viewpoints of the manufacturing cost and recycling of the calendar.
Background Art
[0002] In a conventional flip calendar, for example, on the upper side of a laminate formed by laminating calendar papers for one year, a binding member formed by bending a thin metal plate or high-quality thick paper into a substantially U-shaped cross section is covered, and the laminate of the calendar papers sandwiched therebetween is penetrated to form a hole passing from the front side to the back side of the binding member as a binding hole, and a binding tool such as a binding metal fitting or a binding string is passed through this hole. For example, refer to Patent Documents 1 to 3.
[0003] However, in a conventional flip calendar, in the type using a metal binding member or a binding metal fitting, the laminate of the calendar papers is usually paper. However, when the binding member and the binding tool are made of metal or plastic, not only is it necessary to prepare parts made of different materials, but also the manufacturing process becomes complicated, and in the disposal of the used-up calendar, such as waste, it takes time to separate and process the metal, plastic, and paper. In the decomposition and separation work of the metal binding member and the binding metal fitting, there is a risk of injuring fingertips, etc., and there are problems.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] Therefore, in view of the above problems of the known flip calendar, an object of the present invention is to provide a flip calendar that can simplify the manufacturing process and does not require separation of constituent members in the recycling process after use.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] The configuration of the flip calendar of the present invention made for the purpose of solving the above problems is, as an example, a laminate in which calendar papers for one year are laminated, a binding member made of paper, wood, or bamboo having a substantially U-shaped cross section covering the upper part of the laminate, and a binding tool for binding the laminate. In the flip calendar, the binding tool is a binding pin made of any of a wooden pin, a bamboo pin, a paper pin, or a pin made of a wood-based synthetic material.
[0007] The binding pin may have a dish-shaped head with a diameter larger than that of the pin body. The binding pin may be a straight-diameter binding pin without a head. The binding pin may be a joined-type binding pin that is adhesively integrated in the middle of the length direction. There is also a screw-joined type in which one of the pins divided in the middle is a male screw and the other is a female screw in the joined-type binding pin. Among the above-mentioned joined-type binding pins, there are those with a head and those without a head.
Effects of the Invention
[0008] The flip calendar of the present invention is composed of paper calendar papers, a binding member made of any of paper, wood, or bamboo, and a binding pin made of wood, bamboo, paper, or a synthetic material thereof. Therefore, it is easy to procure parts, does not require much manufacturing effort, and after use, the entire calendar can be recycled as it is without disassembling it for separation.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0010] Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an example of a known page-turning calendar DC and has the following configuration.
[0011] In FIG. 1, 1 is a laminate of calendar papers 1a, usually with a year's worth of calendar papers laminated; 2 is a binding member made of a thin metal plate with a substantially U-shaped cross-section covering the upper end of the laminate 1; 3 are two binding holes, one on each side, penetrating through the laminate 1 with the binding member 2 also passing through; 4 are binding tools made of thin metal plates respectively inserted into and locked in the two binding holes 3. Here, it includes a head 4a, a rod-shaped main body 4b, and a bent portion 4c protruding from the binding hole 3 of the main body 4b to the back side of the binding member 2. The configuration from the above laminate 1 to the binding tool 4 forms a known page-turning calendar DC.
[0012] The present invention is a page-turning calendar DC with the above-described configuration, in which the configurations of the binding member 2 and the binding tool 4, or the binding structure between the laminate 1 and the binding member 2, have been devised in a way not found in conventional products. The specific configuration or structure will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5.
[0013] In the binding structures of FIGS. 2 to 5, the binding tool 4 is like a binding pin such as a wooden pin, a wooden thread pin, a bamboo pin, or a hardened paper pin. The feature is that the used calendar can be disposed of without separating it into the remaining page-turned laminate 1, the binding member 2, and the binding tool 4. Here, the binding member 2 may be made of paper, wood, or bamboo in addition to paper.
[0014] In Figure 2, a stitching hole 3 is provided in a state where the laminating member 2 covers the laminate 1. This hole 3 is configured such that the pin-shaped fastener 41 of the present invention is inserted, and an adhesive 5 is appropriately filled in the gap between the fastener 41 and the hole 3. The fastener 41 includes a head 41a. Also, in the example of Figure 2, the stitching hole 3 penetrates the surface 2a of the laminating member 2 but does not penetrate the back surface 2b. Whether to penetrate or not can be arbitrarily selected.
[0015] In Figure 3, the stitching hole 3 is provided in the laminate 1 before covering it with the laminating member 2. The pin-shaped fastener 41 with a uniform thickness and no head of the present invention is inserted into this stitching hole 3, and after filling the gap with the adhesive 5, the laminating member 2 is covered and fixed on the upper part of the laminate 1.
[0016] In Figure 4, a stitching structure is formed in which two half-length pin-shaped fasteners 41A and 41B with heads 41a and 41b are joined in the stitching hole 3 at the butting sides 41c and 41d of both 41A and 41B.
[0017] In the above, the butting sides 41c and 41d are of a type that couples in an uneven relationship (the one shown in the figure), and there is a type in which the tips of the butting sides 41c and 41d are flat surfaces (flat surfaces or inclined surfaces) and are butted and joined. When any of the joints is joined with the adhesive 5, even if the gap between the stitching hole 3 and the fasteners 41A and 41B is not filled with the adhesive 5, since the fasteners 41A and 41B each have heads 41a and 41b, the joined pin-shaped fasteners 41A and 41B will not come off.
[0018] The example of Figure 5 is different from the stitching structure of Figure 4 in that the joint part at the butting side of the two pin-shaped half-fasteners 41A and 41B has a coupling structure by a male screw 41e and a female screw 41f. Therefore, the same reference numerals are given to the same parts and members as in Figure 4.
[0019] The present invention is as described above. Since a fastener such as a wooden pin is used for the stitching structure of the flip calendar, and the entire used calendar body can be disposed of as it is without disassembling it, it is significantly superior to the conventional flip calendar both environmentally and economically.
[0020] Moreover, even if a wooden or bamboo-made member other than paper is used as the binding member, the same effects as above can be obtained. When using bamboo pins, the use of bamboo binding members can rationalize the procurement of parts.
[0021] Furthermore, since metal binding members and binding fittings are not used, even if it is disassembled, there is no danger like that of metal, and it is highly safe in this regard.
