Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present application relates to the field of display technology, and in particular to a pixel unit of a display panel, a lower substrate of a display panel, and a display panel. [Background technology]

[0002] With the development of liquid crystal display panel technology, the transmittance of the pixels on the display panel is approaching its limit. Most pixel designs of conventional display panels aim at simplifying the wiring, increasing the area of the aperture region, and further increasing the aperture ratio and improving the transmittance.

[0003] For example, refer to FIG. 1, which is a partial plan view of a pixel unit of a conventional liquid crystal display panel. The pixel unit includes a data line DL' and a scan line SL' that cross perpendicularly, and a pixel electrode element P' located at the intersection of the data line DL' and the scan line SL'. The pixel electrode element P' includes a main pixel electrode M' and a sub-pixel electrode S'. In order to increase the aperture ratio of the display panel, the pixel unit omits a black matrix (Data Black Matrix Less, DBL) on the data line DL' and omits the design of the common electrode C' as a shielding metal, but changes the wiring of the sub-pixel electrode S' to be a shielding metal, thereby reducing the parasitic capacitance between the main pixel electrode M' and the data line DL'. However, the problem with such a pixel unit design is that the sub-pixel electrode S' is in a floating state most of the time and has no potential control, so its shielding effect is very limited, and the parasitic capacitance between the main pixel electrode M' and the data line DL' is too large, resulting in more serious color cross talk and vertical cross talk problems. In addition, the transparent shielding electrode element 20 and the pixel electrode P of the present application are both transparent conductive electrodes, so that the transparent shielding electrode element 20 extending into the opening region does not reduce the aperture ratio and transmittance of the pixel unit, thereby avoiding the technical problem in the prior art that the aperture ratio and transmittance are reduced due to the shielding metal located in the opening region of the pixel unit.
