Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a board connector that is installed in an electronic device for electrical connection between boards. [Background technology]

[0002] Connectors are installed in various electronic devices for electrical connection. For example, connectors are installed in electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, tablet computers, etc., and can electrically connect various components installed in the electronic devices to each other.

[0003] Generally, RF connectors and board-to-board connectors (hereinafter referred to as "board connectors") are installed inside electronic devices that use wireless communication, such as smartphones and tablet PCs. RF connectors transmit RF (Radio Frequency) signals, while board-to-board connectors process digital signals, such as those from cameras.

[0004] These RF connectors and board connectors are mounted on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Previously, multiple board connectors and RF connectors were mounted along with many components in the limited PCB space, which resulted in a large PCB mounting area. Therefore, with the trend toward smaller smartphones, there is a need for technology that can integrate RF connectors and board connectors to optimize the PCB mounting area.

[0005] FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a board connector according to the prior art.

[0006] Referring to FIG. 1, a prior art board connector 100 includes a first connector 110 and a second connector 120 .

[0007] The first connector 110 is intended to be coupled to a first substrate (not shown) and may be electrically connected to the second connector 120 through a plurality of first contacts 111.

[0008] The second connector 120 is intended to be coupled to a second substrate (not shown) and may be electrically connected to the first connector 110 through a plurality of second contacts 121.

[0009] The conventional board connector 100 can electrically connect the first board and the second board by connecting the first contact 111 and the second contact 121. Furthermore, when some of the first contact 111 and the second contact 121 are used as RF contacts for transmitting RF signals, the conventional board connector 100 can be implemented so that the RF signal is transmitted between the first board and the second board through the RF contacts.

[0010] Here, the board connector 100 according to the prior art has the following problems.

[0011] First, in the conventional board connector 100, when contacts that are relatively closely spaced among the contacts 111 and 121 are used as the RF contacts, there is a problem that signal transmission is not smooth due to interference between the RF signals between the RF contacts 111', 111", 121', and 121".

[0012] Second, the conventional board connector 100 has an RF signal shielding portion 112 at the outermost portion of the connector, which can shield the RF signal from being emitted to the outside, but it has the problem that it does not shield between RF signals.

[0013] Thirdly, in the conventional board connector 100, the RF contacts 111', 111", 121', 121" each include a mounting portion 111a', 111a", 121a', 121a" that is mounted on the board, but the mounting portions 111a', 111a", 121a', 121a" are arranged so as to be exposed to the outside. As a result, the conventional board connector 100 has the problem that the mounting portions 111a', 111a", 121a', 121a" are not shielded. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0014] The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a board connector that can reduce the possibility of RF signal interference occurring between RF contacts. [Means for solving the problem]

[0015] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention may include the following configurations.

[0016] The board connector according to the present invention may include a plurality of RF contacts for transmitting RF (Radio Frequency) signals; an insulator supporting the RF contacts; a plurality of transmission contacts coupled to the insulator between the first RF contact and the second RF contact such that a first RF contact and a second RF contact among the RF contacts are spaced apart from each other along a first axis direction; a ground housing coupled to the insulator; a first ground contact coupled to the insulator and providing shielding between the first RF contact and the transmission contact with respect to the first axis direction; and a second ground contact coupled to the insulator and providing shielding between the second RF contact and the transmission contact with respect to the first axis direction. The first RF contact may include a first RF inspection plane for contact with a test tool. The second RF contact may include a second RF inspection plane for contact with a test tool. The first RF inspection plane and the second RF inspection plane may be disposed on the same plane. [Effects of the Invention]

[0017] According to the present invention, the following effects can be achieved.

[0018] The present invention can implement a shielding function for signals and electromagnetic waves from RF contacts by using a grounding housing. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent electromagnetic waves generated from the RF contacts from interfering with signals from nearby circuit components in an electronic device, and can prevent electromagnetic waves generated from nearby circuit components in an electronic device from interfering with RF signals transmitted by the RF contacts. Therefore, the present invention can contribute to improving EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) shielding performance and EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) performance by using a grounding housing.

[0019] The present invention can be embodied such that all of the RF contacts, including the portion mounted on the board, are located inside the ground housing, thereby enhancing the shielding function for the RF contacts by using the ground housing to achieve complete shielding.

[0020] The present invention is embodied to ensure an area for contact with a testing device, thereby improving ease and accuracy of contact with the testing device, and therefore improving the accuracy of test results using the testing device.

[0021] Since the surface that comes into contact with the test tool is flat, the present invention can prevent slippage during contact with the test tool, thereby improving the contact reliability of the test tool. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0023] Hereinafter, embodiments of the board connector according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In Fig. 14, the position of the portion of the contact corresponding to the inspection plane is indicated by a dotted square. In Fig. 16, the board connector according to the second embodiment is shown coupled to the board connector according to the first embodiment, inverted from the orientation shown in Figs. 2 and 17. In Fig. 16, the board connector according to the second embodiment is shown in a schematic side cross-sectional view taken along line BB in Fig. 19.

[0024] Referring to FIG. 2, the board connector 1 according to the present invention can be installed in an electronic device (not shown) such as a mobile phone, a computer, a tablet computer, etc. The board connector 1 according to the present invention can be used to electrically connect a plurality of boards (not shown). The boards can be printed circuit boards (PCBs). For example, when electrically connecting a first board and a second board, a receptacle connector mounted on the first board and a plug connector mounted on the second board can be connected to each other. Accordingly, the first board and the second board can be electrically connected through the receptacle connector and the plug connector. The plug connector mounted on the first board and the receptacle connector mounted on the second board can be connected to each other.

[0025] The board connector 1 according to the present invention may be embodied as the receptacle connector. The board connector 1 according to the present invention may be embodied as the plug connector. The board connector 1 according to the present invention may be embodied as both the receptacle connector and the plug connector. Hereinafter, an embodiment in which the board connector 1 according to the present invention is embodied as the receptacle connector will be referred to as a board connector 200 according to a first embodiment, and an embodiment in which the board connector 1 according to the present invention is embodied as the plug connector will be referred to as a board connector 300 according to a second embodiment, and will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In addition, the description will be based on an embodiment in which the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment is mounted on the first board, and the board connector 300 according to the second embodiment is mounted on the second board. It will be obvious to those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains that an embodiment in which the board connector 1 according to the present invention includes both the receptacle connector and the plug connector can be derived from this.

[0026] <Board Connector 200 According to First Embodiment> Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may include a plurality of RF contacts 210, a plurality of transmission contacts 220, a ground housing 230, and an insulating portion 240.

[0027] The RF contact 210 is for transmitting an RF (Radio Frequency) signal. The RF contact 210 can transmit an ultra-high frequency RF signal. The RF contact 210 may be supported by the insulating part 240. The RF contact 210 may be coupled to the insulating part 240 through an assembly process. The RF contact 210 may be integrally molded with the insulating part 240 through injection molding.

[0028] The RF contacts 210 may be spaced apart from each other. The RF contacts 210 may be mounted on the first board, thereby being electrically connected to the first board. The RF contacts 210 may be connected to RF contacts of the mating connector, thereby being electrically connected to the second board on which the mating connector is mounted. Accordingly, the first board and the second board may be electrically connected. When the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment is a receptacle connector, the mating connector may be a plug connector. When the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment is a plug connector, the mating connector may be a receptacle connector.

[0029] A first RF contact 211 of the RF contacts 210 and a second RF contact 212 of the RF contacts 210 may be spaced apart from each other along a first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 may be supported by the insulating portion 240 at positions spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction (X-axis direction).

[0030] The first RF contact 211 may include a first RF mounting member 2111. The first RF mounting member 2111 may be mounted on the first board. Accordingly, the first RF contact 211 may be electrically connected to the first board through the first RF mounting member 2111. The first RF contact 211 may be made of an electrically conductive material. For example, the first RF contact 211 may be made of metal. The first RF contact 211 may be connected to one of the RF contacts of the mating connector.

[0031] The second RF contact 212 may include a second RF mounting member 2121. The second RF mounting member 2121 may be mounted on the first board. Accordingly, the second RF contact 212 may be electrically connected to the first board through the second RF mounting member 2121. The second RF contact 212 may be made of an electrically conductive material. For example, the second RF contact 212 may be made of metal. The second RF contact 212 may be connected to one of the RF contacts of the mating connector.

[0032] 2 to 5, the transmission contact 220 is coupled to the insulating part 240. The transmission contact 220 may be responsible for transmitting signals, data, power, etc. The transmission contact 220 may be coupled to the insulating part 240 through an assembly process. The transmission contact 220 may be integrally molded with the insulating part 240 through injection molding.

[0033] The transmission contact 220 may be disposed between the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the transmission contact 220 may be disposed in a space separating the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 in order to reduce RF signal interference between the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can not only reduce RF signal interference by increasing the distance separating the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212, but also improve space utilization for the insulating part 240 by disposing the transmission contact 220 in the space provided for this purpose.

[0034] The transmission contacts 220 may be spaced apart from each other. The transmission contacts 220 may be mounted on the first board, thereby being electrically connected to the first board. In this case, the transmission mounting members 2211 and 2221 of each of the transmission contacts 220 may be mounted on the first board. The transmission contacts 220 may be made of an electrically conductive material. For example, the transmission contacts 220 may be made of metal. The transmission contacts 220 may be connected to transmission contacts of the mating connector, thereby being electrically connected to the second board on which the mating connector is mounted. Accordingly, the first board and the second board may be electrically connected.

[0035] The first transmission contacts 221 and the second transmission contacts 222 of the transmission contacts 220 may be spaced apart from each other along a second axis direction (Y-axis direction). The second axis direction (Y-axis direction) is perpendicular to the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first transmission contacts 221 may be spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The second transmission contacts 222 may be spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction (X-axis direction).

[0036] 2 to 5, the ground housing 230 is coupled to the insulating portion 240. The ground housing 230 can be grounded by being mounted on the first board. Accordingly, the ground housing 230 can implement a shielding function for signals, electromagnetic waves, etc., for the RF contacts 210. In this case, the ground housing 230 can prevent electromagnetic waves generated from the RF contacts 210 from interfering with signals of circuit components located nearby in the electronic device, and can prevent electromagnetic waves generated from circuit components located nearby in the electronic device from interfering with RF signals transmitted by the RF contacts 210. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can contribute to improving EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) shielding performance and EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) performance by using the ground housing 230. The ground housing 230 can be made of an electrically conductive material. For example, the ground housing 230 can be made of a metal.

[0037] The ground housing 230 may be disposed to surround the sides of the inner space 230a. A portion of the insulator 240 may be located in the inner space 230a. The first RF contact 211, the second RF contact 212, and the transmission contact 220 may all be located in the inner space 230a. In this case, the first RF mounting member 2111, the second RF mounting member 2121, and the transmission mounting members 2211 and 2221 may also all be located in the inner space 230a. Therefore, the ground housing 230 may implement a shielding wall for the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212, thereby enhancing the shielding function for the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 and implementing complete shielding. The mating connector may be inserted into the inner space 230a.

[0038] The ground housing 230 may be disposed to surround all sides of the inner space 230a. The inner space 230a may be disposed inside the ground housing 230. When the ground housing 230 is formed in the shape of a rectangular ring as a whole, the inner space 230a may be formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped. In this case, the ground housing 230 may be disposed to surround four sides of the inner space 230a.

[0039] The ground housing 230 may be formed as a single piece without any joints. The ground housing 230 may be formed as a single piece without any joints by a metal injection method such as die casting or metal injection molding (MIM). The ground housing 230 may be formed as a single piece without any joints by computer numerical control (CNC) processing, machining center tool (MCT) processing, etc.

[0040] 2 to 5, the insulating portion 240 supports the RF contact 210. The RF contact 210 and the transmission contact 220 may be coupled to the insulating portion 240. The insulating portion 240 may be made of an insulating material. The insulating portion 240 may be coupled to the ground housing 230 such that the RF contact 210 is positioned in the inner space 230a.

[0041] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 6, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may include a first ground contact 250.

[0042] The first ground contact 250 is coupled to the insulating part 240. The first ground contact 250 may be grounded by being mounted on the first substrate. The first ground contact 250 may be coupled to the insulating part 240 through an assembly process. The first ground contact 250 may be molded integrally with the insulating part 240 through injection molding.

[0043] The first ground contact 250, together with the ground housing 230, may perform a shielding function for the first RF contact 211. In this case, the first ground contact 250 may be disposed between the first RF contact 211 and the transmission contact 220 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first ground contact 250 may be formed of an electrically conductive material. For example, the first ground contact 250 may be formed of a metal. When the mating connector is inserted into the inner space 230a, the first ground contact 250 may be connected to a ground contact of the mating connector.

[0044] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 5, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may include a second ground contact 260. As shown in FIG.

[0045] The second ground contact 260 is coupled to the insulating part 240. The second ground contact 260 may be grounded by being mounted on the first substrate. The second ground contact 260 may be coupled to the insulating part 240 through an assembly process. The second ground contact 260 may be molded integrally with the insulating part 240 through injection molding.

[0046] The second ground contact 260, together with the ground housing 230, may provide a shielding function for the second RF contact 212. The second ground contact 260 may be disposed between the transmission contact 220 and the second RF contact 212 in the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The second ground contact 260 may be formed of an electrically conductive material. For example, the second ground contact 260 may be formed of a metal. When the mating connector is inserted into the inner space 230a, the second ground contact 260 may be connected to a ground contact of the mating connector.

[0047] Here, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can be inspected by a inspection tool (not shown) to check for any abnormalities in performance when mounted on a first board. The inspection tool can inspect the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment by bringing a probe into contact with at least one of the contacts 210, 220, 250, and 260. For example, the inspection tool can be a probe card. In order to facilitate inspection through contact of the inspection tool, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can be embodied as follows.

[0048] First, the first RF contact 211 can be realized as follows.

[0049] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 10, the first RF contact 211 may include a first RF test plane 2112 .

[0050] The first RF inspection plane 2112 is for contacting the inspection tool. The inspection tool can inspect the first RF contacts 211 while in contact with the first RF inspection plane 2112. The first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed as a flat surface. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure an area for the inspection tool to contact the first RF contacts 211 using the first RF inspection plane 2112, thereby improving ease and accuracy of contact between the inspection tool and the first RF contacts 211. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve accuracy of inspection results for the first RF contacts 211 using the first RF inspection plane 2112. Furthermore, in a comparative example in which the surface of the first RF contacts 211 to be contacted by the inspection tool is formed as a curved surface, slippage or the like may occur when the inspection tool contacts the curved surface, thereby reducing contact reliability between the inspection tool and the first RF contacts 211. In contrast, in the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment, the first RF inspection plane 2112 is formed as a flat surface, and therefore, slippage or the like can be prevented when the inspection tool contacts the first RF inspection plane 2112. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment can improve the contact reliability between the inspection tool and the first RF contacts 211.

[0051] The first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) of 0.5 or more in the second axis direction (Y axis direction) when the width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) in the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. If the ratio of the length L to the width H of the first RF inspection plane 2112 is less than 0.5, the length L of the first RF inspection plane 2112 becomes too short, making it difficult to achieve accurate contact between the inspection tool and the first RF inspection plane 2112. In consideration of this, the first RF inspection plane 2112 of the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment is formed as a plane having a ratio of the length L to the width H of 0.5 or more, thereby improving the ease and accuracy of contact between the inspection tool and the first RF contacts 211.

[0052] The first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) of 1.5 or less in the second axis direction (Y axis direction) when the width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) in the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. If the ratio of the length L to the width H of the first RF inspection plane 2112 exceeds 1.5, the length of the first RF contact 211 becomes excessively long due to the first RF inspection plane 2112, making it difficult to achieve miniaturization. In consideration of this, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can achieve miniaturization by forming the first RF inspection plane 2112 as a plane having a ratio of the length L to the width H of 1.5 or less.

[0053] The first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) in the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 0.5 to 1.5, where H (shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) in the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. That is, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed as a plane having a ratio of the length L to the width H of 0.5 to 1.5. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure an area for the inspection tool to contact the first RF contacts 211 by using the first RF inspection plane 2112, and can also be miniaturized by reducing the overall size.

[0054] The first RF contact 211 may include a first RF connection member 2113 .

[0055] The first RF connection member 2113 is intended to be connected to an RF contact of the mating connector. When the first RF connection member 2113 is connected to the RF contact of the mating connector, the first RF contact 211 may be electrically connected to the RF contact of the mating connector. The first RF connection member 2113 may be coupled to the first RF mounting member 2111. The first RF connection member 2113 may be directly coupled to the first RF mounting member 2111. The first RF connection member 2113 may be coupled to another member of the first RF connection member 2113, thereby being connected to the first RF mounting member 2111 through the relevant member. The first RF connection member 2113 may be embodied in a form in which a vertically arranged plate member and a horizontally arranged plate member are combined by bending a plate member.

[0056] When the first RF contact 211 includes the first RF connection member 2113 and the first RF mounting member 2111, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed on the first RF connection member 2113 or the first RF mounting member 2111. As shown in FIG. 9, when the first RF inspection plane 2112 is formed on the first RF connection member 2113, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed on a surface of the first RF connection member 2113 facing the inner space 230a. In this case, the first RF connection member 2113 may have a connection function with an RF contact of the mating connector and a contact function with the testing tool. Although not shown, when the first RF inspection plane 2112 is formed on the first RF mounting member 2111, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed on a surface of the first RF mounting member 2111 facing the inner space 230a. In this case, the first RF mounting member 2111 may have a mounting function with respect to the board and a contact function with the testing tool.

[0057] The first RF contact 211 may include a first RF test element 2114 .

[0058] The first RF test member 2114 is adapted to be contacted by the test tool. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the first RF test plane 2112 may be formed on the first RF test member 2114. The first RF test plane 2112 may be formed on the surface of the first RF test member 2114 facing the inner space 230a. The first RF test member 2114 may be coupled to the first RF connection member 2113 or the first RF mounting member 2111. As shown in FIG. 6, the first RF test member 2114 may be coupled to the first RF connection member 2113 so as to protrude from the first RF connection member 2113. In this case, the first RF test member 2114 may have a support function supported by the insulating portion 240 and a contact function with the test tool. The first RF test member 2114 may be coupled to the first RF connection member 2113 and the first RF mounting member 2111. In this case, the first RF test member 2114 may have a connection function for connecting the first RF connection member 2113 and the first RF mounting member 2111 and a contact function for the test tool. Even when the first RF test member 2114 is provided, the first RF test plane 2112 may be formed on the first RF mounting member 2111 or the first RF connection member 2113. In this case, the first RF test member 2114 may have a support function for the insulating part 240 or a connection function for connecting the first RF connection member 2113 and the first RF mounting member 2111.

[0059] Meanwhile, when the first RF inspection plane 2112 is formed in a portion of the first RF contact 211 that is shielded by the insulating portion 240, an inspection connection window (not shown) may be formed in the insulating portion 240. Accordingly, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be disposed to be exposed to the inner space 230a through the inspection connection window without being shielded by the insulating portion 240.

[0060] Next, the second RF contact 212 can be realized as follows.

[0061] 2 to 14, the second RF contact 212 may include a second RF inspection plane 2122. The second RF inspection plane 2122 is to be contacted by the inspection tool. The second RF inspection plane 2122 is embodied to be substantially coincident with the first RF inspection plane 2112 of the first RF contact 211, and therefore, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0062] The second RF contact 212 may include a second RF connection member 2123. The second RF connection member 2123 is for connecting to an RF contact of the mating connector. The second RF connection member 2123 is embodied to substantially coincide with the first RF connection member 2113 of the first RF contact 211, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted. The second RF connection member 2123 or the second RF mounting member 2121 may be formed with the second RF inspection plane 2122.

[0063] The second RF contact 212 may include a second RF test member 2124. The second RF test member 2124 is to be contacted by the test tool. The second RF test member 2124 is embodied to be substantially identical to the first RF test member 2114 of the first RF contact 211, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted. The second RF test member 2124 may be formed with the second RF test plane 2122.

[0064] 10 to 13, the second RF inspection plane 2122 and the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be disposed on the same plane. Accordingly, the height at which the inspection tool moves up and down to contact the second RF inspection plane 2122 and the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be the same, so the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may further improve the ease and accuracy of the inspection of the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212. Furthermore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may contribute to a reduction in the time required to inspect the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212, because the inspection tool can simultaneously contact the second RF inspection plane 2122 and the first RF inspection plane 2112.

[0065] Meanwhile, the portion of the second RF contact 212 on which the second RF inspection plane 2122 is formed and the portion of the first RF contact 211 on which the first RF inspection plane 2112 is formed may have the same function. For example, as shown in FIG. 6, if the second RF inspection plane 2122 is formed on the second RF inspection member 2124, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed on the first RF inspection member 2114. For example, as shown in FIG. 9, if the second RF inspection plane 2122 is formed on the second RF connection member 2123, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed on the first RF connection member 2113. For example, if the second RF inspection plane 2122 is formed on the second RF mounting member 2121, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be formed on the first RF mounting member 2111.

[0066] Next, each of the first transmission contacts 221 may be realized as follows.

[0067] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 14, the first transmission contact 221 may include a first transmission mounting member 2211 .

[0068] The first transmission mounting member 2211 is intended to be mounted on the first board. The first transmission contact 221 may be electrically connected to the first board through the first transmission mounting member 2211. The first transmission mounting member 2211 may be formed in a plate shape arranged in a horizontal direction.

[0069] The first transmission contact 221 may include a first transmission test plane 2212 .

[0070] The first transmission inspection plane 2212 is for the inspection tool to come into contact with. The inspection tool can inspect the first transmission contacts 221 while in contact with the first transmission inspection plane 2212. The first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed as a flat surface. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure an area for the inspection tool to come into contact with the first transmission contacts 221 using the first transmission inspection plane 2212, thereby improving ease and accuracy of contact between the inspection tool and the first transmission contacts 221. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve accuracy of inspection results for the first transmission contacts 221 by using the first transmission inspection plane 2212. In addition, compared to the comparative example in which the surface of the first transmission contact 221 for contacting the inspection tool is formed as a curved surface, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment has the first transmission inspection plane 2212 formed as a flat surface, thereby preventing slippage during contact of the inspection tool with the first transmission inspection plane 2212. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment can improve the contact reliability between the inspection tool and the first transmission contact 221.

[0071] The first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 0.5 or more when its width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. The first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 1.5 or less when its width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. The first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 0.5 or more and 1.5 or less when its width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. That is, the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed as a plane having a ratio of length L to width H of 0.5 or more and 1.5 or less. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure an area for the inspection tool to contact the first transmission contacts 221 by using the first transmission inspection plane 2212, and can also achieve miniaturization by reducing the overall size.

[0072] The first transmission contact 221 may include a first transmission connection member 2213 .

[0073] The first transmission connection member 2213 is intended to be connected to a transmission contact of the mating connector. When the first transmission connection member 2213 is connected to the transmission contact of the mating connector, the first transmission contact 221 may be electrically connected to the transmission contact of the mating connector. The first transmission connection member 2213 may be coupled to the first transmission mounting member 2211. The first transmission connection member 2213 may be directly coupled to the first transmission mounting member 2211. The first transmission connection member 2213 may be coupled to another member of the first transmission connection member 2213, thereby being connected to the first transmission mounting member 2211 through the relevant member. The first transmission connection member 2213 may be embodied in a form in which a vertically arranged plate member and a horizontally arranged plate member are combined by bending a plate member.

[0074] The first transmission contact 221 may include a first transmission test member 2214 .

[0075] The first transmission inspection member 2214 is adapted to be contacted by the inspection tool. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed on the first transmission inspection member 2214. The first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed on the surface of the first transmission inspection member 2214 facing the inner space 230a. The first transmission inspection member 2214 may be coupled to the first transmission connection member 2213 and the first transmission mounting member 2211. In this case, the first transmission inspection member 2214 may have a connection function for connecting the first transmission connection member 2213 and the first transmission mounting member 2211 and a contact function for the inspection tool. The first transmission inspection member 2214 may be coupled to the first transmission connection member 2213 or the first transmission mounting member 2211. In this case, the first transmission inspection member 2214 may have a support function for being supported by the insulating portion 240 and a contact function for the inspection tool.

[0076] Although not shown, even when the first transmission inspection member 2214 is provided, the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be formed on the first transmission mounting member 2211 or the first transmission connecting member 2213. When the first transmission inspection plane 2212 is formed on the first transmission mounting member 2211, the first transmission mounting member 2211 may have a mounting function for the board and a contact function for the inspection tool. When the first transmission inspection plane 2212 is formed on the first transmission connecting member 2213, the first transmission connecting member 2213 may have a connection function for the mating connector contact and a contact function for the inspection tool. When the first transmission inspection plane 2212 is formed on the first transmission mounting member 2211 or the first transmission connecting member 2213, the first transmission inspection member 2214 may have a support function for the insulator 240 or a connection function for connecting the first transmission connecting member 2213 and the first transmission mounting member 2211.

[0077] Meanwhile, when the first transmission inspection plane 2212 is formed in a portion of the first transmission contact 221 that is shielded by the insulating portion 240, an inspection connection window (not shown) may be formed in the insulating portion 240. Accordingly, the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be disposed to be exposed to the inner space 230a through the inspection connection window without being shielded by the insulating portion 240.

[0078] Next, each of the second transmission contacts 222 may be realized as follows.

[0079] 2 to 14, the second transmission contact 222 may include a second transmission mounting member 2221. The second transmission mounting member 2221 is intended to be mounted on the first board. The second transmission mounting member 2221 is embodied to be substantially identical to the first transmission mounting member 2211 of the first transmission contact 221, and therefore, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0080] The second transmission contact 222 may include a second transmission inspection plane 2222. The second transmission inspection plane 2222 is contacted by the inspection tool. The second transmission inspection plane 2222 is embodied to substantially coincide with the first transmission inspection plane 2212 of the first transmission contact 221 described above, and therefore, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0081] The second transmission contact 222 may include a second transmission connecting member 2223. The second transmission connecting member 2223 is intended to be connected to a transmission contact of the mating connector. The second transmission connecting member 2223 is embodied to substantially coincide with the first transmission connecting member 2213 of the first transmission contact 221 described above, and therefore, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0082] The second transmission contact 222 may include a second transmission inspection member 2224. The second transmission inspection member 2224 is to be contacted by the inspection tool. The second transmission inspection member 2224 is embodied to be substantially the same as the first transmission inspection member 2214 of the first transmission contact 221, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted. The second transmission inspection plane 2222 may be formed on any one of the second transmission inspection member 2224, the second transmission connecting member 2223, and the second transmission mounting member 2221.

[0083] 10 to 13, the second transmission inspection plane 2222 and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be disposed on the same plane. Accordingly, the heights at which the inspection tool moves to contact the second transmission inspection plane 2222 and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be the same, thereby further improving the ease and accuracy of the inspection of the first transmission contact 221 and the second transmission contact 222 in the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment. Furthermore, the inspection tool can simultaneously contact the second transmission inspection plane 2222 and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 in the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment, thereby contributing to a reduction in the time required to inspect the first transmission contact 221 and the second transmission contact 222. Meanwhile, the portion of the second transmission contact 222 on which the second transmission inspection plane 2222 is formed and the portion of the first transmission contact 221 on which the first transmission inspection plane 2212 is formed may have the same function.

[0084] 10 and 11, the second transmission inspection plane 2222, the first transmission inspection plane 2212, the second RF inspection plane 2122, and the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be arranged on the same plane. Accordingly, the heights at which the inspection tool moves up and down to contact the second transmission inspection plane 2222, the first transmission inspection plane 2212, the second RF inspection plane 2122, and the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be the same, so that the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may further improve the ease and accuracy of inspecting the second transmission contacts 222, the first transmission contacts 221, the second RF contacts 212, and the first RF contacts 211. In addition, the board connector 1 of the first embodiment allows the inspection tool to contact the second transmission inspection plane 2222, the first transmission inspection plane 2212, the second RF inspection plane 2122, and the first RF inspection plane 2112 simultaneously, which can contribute to further reducing the time required to perform inspection work on the second transmission contact 222, the first transmission contact 221, the second RF contact 212, and the first RF contact 211.

[0085] 12 and 13, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be positioned higher than the first transmission inspection plane 2212. In this case, the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122 may be positioned on the same plane. The first transmission inspection plane 2212 and the second transmission inspection plane 2222 may be positioned on the same plane but at a lower position than the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122. Accordingly, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may be suitably implemented so that the inspection tool can simultaneously inspect the first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 and simultaneously inspect the first transmission contact 221 and the second transmission contact 222, respectively. Although not shown, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be positioned lower than the first transmission inspection plane 2212. In this case, the first transmission inspection plane 2212 and the second transmission inspection plane 2222 may be arranged on the same plane at the same height, but may be arranged at a higher position than the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122.

[0086] 5 and 6, the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the first transmission inspection plane 2122 may be arranged in a first row R1 parallel to the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The second RF inspection plane 2122 and the second transmission inspection plane 2212 may be arranged in a second row R2 parallel to the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first row R1 and the second row R2 may be spaced apart from each other along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Accordingly, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may be suitably implemented so that the inspection tool can simultaneously inspect the first RF contact 211 and the first transmission contact 221 and simultaneously inspect the second RF contact 212 and the second transmission contact 222, respectively. Furthermore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may be suitably embodied so that the testing tool can simultaneously test the first RF contact 211, the first transmission contact 221, the second RF contact 212, and the second transmission contact 222. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment is embodied so that the testing tool can test the first RF contact 211, the first transmission contact 221, the second RF contact 212, and the second transmission contact 222 in various testing methods depending on the testing conditions, testing environment, etc.

[0087] As shown in FIGS. 5, 9, and 14, the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be disposed on the first row R1. The second transmission inspection plane 2222 may be disposed on the second row R2. The first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122 may be disposed on a third row R3 parallel to the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first row R1, the second row R2, and the third row R3 may be spaced apart from each other along the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment is embodied so that the inspection tool can inspect the first RF contact 211, the first transmission contact 221, the second RF contact 212, and the second transmission contact 222 in various inspection methods depending on the inspection conditions, inspection environment, etc. Although FIG. 14 illustrates the third row R3 as being disposed in the middle of the second axis direction (Y-axis direction), this is not limiting, and the first row R1 or the second row R2 may be disposed in the middle.

[0088] Next, the first ground contact 250 may be realized as follows.

[0089] 2 to 14, the first ground contact 250 may include a first-first ground contact 251 and a first-second ground contact 252.

[0090] The 1-1 ground contact 251 is disposed between the first RF contact 211 and the first transmission contact 221 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the 1-1 ground contact 251 can shield the first RF contact 211 and the first transmission contact 221.

[0091] The 1-1 ground contact 251 may include a 1-1 ground test plane 2511 .

[0092] The 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511 is for the inspection tool to come into contact with. The inspection tool can inspect the 1-1 ground contacts 251 while in contact with the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511. The 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed as a flat surface. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure an area for the inspection tool to come into contact with the 1-1 ground contacts 251 using the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511, thereby improving ease and accuracy of contact between the inspection tool and the 1-1 ground contacts 251. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve accuracy of inspection results for the 1-1 ground contacts 251 by using the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511. In addition, compared to the comparative example in which the surface of the first-1 ground contact 251 for contacting the testing tool is curved, the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 of the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment is flat, thereby preventing slippage during contact of the testing tool with the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment can improve the contact reliability between the testing tool and the first-1 ground contact 251.

[0093] The first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 0.5 or more when its width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. The first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 1.5 or less when its width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. The first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed as a plane having a length (L, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the second axis direction (Y axis direction) of 0.5 or more and 1.5 or less when its width (H, shown in FIGS. 7 and 8) based on the first axis direction (X axis direction) is 1. That is, the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed as a plane having a ratio of length L to width H of 0.5 or more and 1.5 or less. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure an area for the inspection tool to contact the 1-1 ground contacts 251 by using the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511, and can also be miniaturized by reducing the overall size.

[0094] The first-first ground contact 251 may include a first-first ground mounting member 2512 .

[0095] The 1-1 ground mounting member 2512 is intended to be mounted on the first board. The 1-1 ground contact 251 may be electrically connected to the first board through the 1-1 ground mounting member 2512. The 1-1 ground mounting member 2512 may be formed to a length that allows it to be connected to the ground housing 230 based on the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). In this case, the 1-1 ground mounting member 2512 may be connected to a sidewall of the ground housing 230. The 1-1 ground mounting member 2512 may be formed in a plate shape disposed in the horizontal direction.

[0096] The first-first ground contact 251 may include a first-first ground connection member 2513 .

[0097] The first-1 ground connection member 2513 is intended to be connected to a ground contact of the mating connector. When the first-1 ground connection member 2513 is connected to the ground contact of the mating connector, the first-1 ground contact 251 may be electrically connected to a transmission contact of the mating connector. Accordingly, the shielding ability of the first-1 ground contact 251 with respect to the first RF contact 211 may be enhanced. The first-1 ground connection member 2513 may be connected to the first-1 ground mounting member 2512. The first-1 ground connection member 2513 may be directly connected to the first-1 ground mounting member 2512. The first-1 ground connection member 2513 may be connected to another member of the first-1 ground connection member 2513, thereby connecting to the first-1 ground mounting member 2512 through the other member. The first-1 ground connection member 2513 may be formed in a vertically arranged plate shape. The first-1 ground connection member 2513 may be realized in the form of a combination of a vertically arranged plate and a horizontally arranged plate through bending of a plate. Meanwhile, the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed on the first-1 ground mounting member 2512 or the first-1 ground connection member 2513.

[0098] The first-first ground contact 251 may include a first-first ground test member 2514 .

[0099] The first-1 ground test member 2514 is adapted to be contacted by the test tool. In this case, as shown in FIG. 6, the first-1 ground test plane 2511 may be formed on the first-1 ground test member 2514. The first-1 ground test plane 2511 may be formed on the surface of the first-1 ground test member 2514 facing the inner space 230a. The first-1 ground test member 2514 may be coupled to the first-1 ground connecting member 2513 and the first-1 ground mounting member 2512. In this case, the first-1 ground test member 2514 may have a connection function for connecting the first-1 ground connecting member 2513 and the first-1 ground mounting member 2512 and a contact function for the test tool. The first-1 ground test member 2514 may be coupled to the first-1 ground connecting member 2513 or the first-1 ground mounting member 2512. In this case, the first-1 ground inspection member 2514 may have a supporting function to be supported by the insulator 240 and a contact function with the inspection tool. Although not shown, even when the first-1 ground inspection member 2514 is provided, the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be formed on the first-1 ground mounting member 2512 or the first-1 ground connecting member 2513. In this case, the first-1 ground inspection member 2514 may have a supporting function with respect to the insulator 240 or a connecting function to connect the first-1 ground connecting member 2513 and the first-1 ground mounting member 2512.

[0100] Meanwhile, when the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 is formed in a portion of the first-1 ground contact 251 that is shielded by the insulating portion 240, an inspection connection window (not shown) may be formed in the insulating portion 240. Accordingly, the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be disposed to be exposed to the inner space 230a through the inspection connection window without being shielded by the insulating portion 240.

[0101] Next, the first and second ground contacts 252 may be implemented as follows.

[0102] 2 to 14, the first-second ground contact 252 may include a first-second ground inspection plane 2521. The first-second ground inspection plane 2521 is for the inspection tool to contact. The first-second ground inspection plane 2521 is embodied to substantially coincide with the first-first ground inspection plane 2511 of the first-first ground contact 251, and therefore, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0103] The first-second ground contact 252 may include a first-second ground mounting member 2522. The first-second ground mounting member 2522 is intended to be mounted on the first substrate. The first-second ground mounting member 2522 is embodied to substantially coincide with the first-first ground mounting member 2512 of the first-first ground contact 251, and therefore, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0104] The first-second ground contact 252 may include a first-second ground connecting member 2523. The first-second ground connecting member 2523 is for connection to a ground contact of the mating connector. The first-second ground connecting member 2523 is embodied to substantially coincide with the first-first ground connecting member 2513 of the first-first ground contact 251, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted. The first-second ground inspection plane 2521 may be formed on the first-second ground mounting member 2522 or the first-second ground connecting member 2523.

[0105] The first-second ground contact 252 may include a first-second ground inspection member 2524. The first-second ground inspection member 2524 is to be contacted by the inspection tool. The first-second ground inspection member 2524 is embodied to be substantially the same as the first-first ground inspection member 2514 of the first-first ground contact 251, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted. The first-second ground inspection plane 2521 may be formed on any one of the first-second ground inspection member 2524, the first-second ground connecting member 2523, and the first-second ground mounting member 2522.

[0106] 10 to 13, the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521 and the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be disposed on the same plane. Accordingly, the height at which the inspection tool moves to contact the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521 and the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511 may be the same, so the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may further improve the ease and accuracy of the inspection of the 1-1 ground contacts 251 and the 1-2 ground contacts 252. Furthermore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may contribute to a reduction in the time required to inspect the 1-1 ground contacts 251 and the 1-2 ground contacts 252 because the inspection tool can simultaneously contact the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521 and the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511. Meanwhile, the portion of the first-2 ground contact 252 on which the first-2 ground inspection plane 2521 is formed and the portion of the first-1 ground contact 251 on which the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 is formed may have the same function.

[0107] 10 and 11 , the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521, the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511, the second RF inspection plane 2122, the first RF inspection plane 2112, the second transmission inspection plane 2222, and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be arranged on the same plane. Accordingly, the height at which the inspection tool moves up and down to contact the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521, the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511, the second RF inspection plane 2122, the first RF inspection plane 2112, the second transmission inspection plane 2222, and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be the same, so that the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment may further improve the ease and accuracy of inspecting the 1-2 ground contact 252, the 1-1 ground contact 251, the second RF contact 212, the first RF contact 211, the second transmission contact 222, and the first transmission contact 221. In addition, the board connector 1 of the first embodiment allows the inspection tool to contact the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521, the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511, the second RF inspection plane 2122, the first RF inspection plane 2112, the second transmission inspection plane 2222, and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 simultaneously, which can contribute to further reducing the time required to perform inspection work on the 1-2 ground contact 252, the 1-1 ground contact 251, the second RF contact 212, the first RF contact 211, the second transmission contact 222, and the first transmission contact 221.

[0108] 12 and 13, the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122 may be disposed at a higher position than the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 and the first-2 ground inspection plane 2521. Although not shown, the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122 may be disposed at a lower position than the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 and the first-2 ground inspection plane 2521.

[0109] 5 and 6, the first-1 ground inspection plane 2511 and the first transmission inspection plane 2212 may be arranged on the first row R1. The first-2 ground inspection plane 2521 and the second transmission inspection plane 2222 may be arranged on the second row R2. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment is embodied so that the inspection tool can inspect the first-1 ground contact 251, the first transmission contact 221, the first-2 ground contact 252, and the second transmission contact 222 in various inspection methods depending on the inspection conditions, inspection environment, etc.

[0110] In this case, the first RF inspection plane 2112 may be arranged on the first row R1, and the second RF inspection plane 2122 may be arranged on the second row R2. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment is implemented so that the inspection tool can inspect the first RF contact 211, the first-1 ground contact 251, the first transmission contact 221, the second RF contact 212, the first-2 ground contact 252, and the second transmission contact 222 in various inspection methods depending on the inspection conditions, inspection environment, etc.

[0111] 5, 9, and 14, the first RF inspection plane 2112 and the second RF inspection plane 2122 may be arranged on the third row R3. Therefore, the board connector 1 according to the first embodiment is embodied so that the inspection tool can inspect the first RF contact 211, the first-1 ground contact 251, the first transmission contact 221, the second RF contact 212, the first-2 ground contact 252, and the second transmission contact 222 in various inspection methods depending on the inspection conditions, inspection environment, etc.

[0112] Next, the second ground contact 260 may be realized as follows.

[0113] 2 to 14, the second ground contact 260 may include a 2-1 ground contact 261 and a 2-2 ground contact 262.

[0114] The 2-1 ground contact 261 is disposed between the second RF contact 212 and the first transmission contact 221 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the 2-1 ground contact 261 can shield the second RF contact 212 and the first transmission contact 221.

[0115] The 2-1 ground contact 261 may include a 2-1 ground inspection plane 2611, a 2-1 ground mounting member 2612, and a 2-1 ground connecting member 2613. The 2-1 ground contact 261 may additionally include a 2-1 ground inspection member 2614. The 2-1 ground inspection plane 2611 may be formed on any one of the 2-1 ground mounting member 2612, the 2-1 ground connecting member 2613, and the 2-1 ground inspection member 2614. The 2-1 ground inspection plane 2611, the 2-1 ground mounting member 2612, the 2-1 ground connection member 2613, and the 2-1 ground inspection member 2614 may be embodied to approximately coincide with the 1-1 ground inspection plane 2511, the 1-1 ground mounting member 2512, the 1-1 ground connection member 2513, and the 1-1 ground inspection member 2514, respectively, and therefore detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0116] The second-first ground contact 261 and the first-first ground contact 251 may be formed in the same shape. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve the ease of manufacturing the second-first ground contact 261 and the first-first ground contact 251. In this case, the second-first ground contact 261 and the first-first ground contact 251 may be arranged symmetrically with respect to a symmetric point (SP, shown in FIGS. 6 and 9). The symmetric point SP is a point spaced the same distance from both side walls 230b and 230c (shown in FIG. 15) of the ground housing 230 spaced apart in the first axis direction (X-axis direction) and also spaced the same distance from both side walls 230d and 230e (shown in FIG. 15) of the ground housing 230 spaced apart in the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Therefore, in the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment, the second-1 ground contact 261 and the first-1 ground contact 251 are formed in the same shape and are embodied with only a difference in arrangement direction, which can further improve the ease of manufacturing the second-1 ground contact 261 and the first-1 ground contact 251. In this case, the second RF contact 212 and the first RF contact 211 can be arranged to be point-symmetrical with respect to the symmetry point SP.

[0117] The 2-2 ground contact 262 is disposed between the second RF contact 212 and the second transmission contact 222 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the 2-2 ground contact 262 can shield the second RF contact 212 and the second transmission contact 222.

[0118] The 2-2 ground contact 262 may include a 2-2 ground inspection plane 2621, a 2-2 ground mounting member 2622, and a 2-2 ground connecting member 2623. The 2-2 ground contact 262 may additionally include a 2-2 ground inspection member 2624. The 2-2 ground inspection plane 2621 may be formed on any one of the 2-2 ground mounting member 2622, the 2-2 ground connecting member 2623, and the 2-2 ground inspection member 2624. The 2-2 ground inspection plane 2621, the 2-2 ground mounting member 2622, the 2-2 ground connection member 2623, and the 2-2 ground inspection member 2624 may be embodied to approximately coincide with the 1-2 ground inspection plane 2521, the 1-2 ground mounting member 2522, the 1-2 ground connection member 2523, and the 1-2 ground inspection member 2524, respectively, and therefore detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0119] The 2-2 ground contact 262 and the 1-2 ground contact 252 may be formed in the same shape. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve the ease of manufacturing the 2-2 ground contact 262 and the 1-2 ground contact 252. In this case, the 2-2 ground contact 262 and the 1-2 ground contact 252 may be arranged to be point-symmetrical with respect to the symmetry point (SP, shown in FIGS. 6 and 9). The 2-2 ground contact 262, the 1-2 ground contact 252, the 2-1 ground contact 261, and the 1-1 ground contact 251 may all be formed in the same shape.

[0120] 2 to 16, in the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment, the ground housing 230 can be realized as follows.

[0121] The ground housing 230 may include a ground inner wall 231 , a ground outer wall 232 , and a ground connecting wall 233 .

[0122] The ground inner wall 231 faces the insulating portion 240. The ground inner wall 231 may be disposed facing the inner space 230a. The first-1 ground contact 251 and the second-1 ground contact 261 may be connected to the ground inner wall 231, respectively. The ground inner wall 231 may be disposed to surround all sides of the inner space 230a. Although not shown, the ground inner wall 231 may include a plurality of sub-ground inner walls, and the sub-ground inner walls may be disposed on different sides of the inner space 230a. In this case, the sub-ground inner walls may be disposed spaced apart from each other.

[0123] The ground inner wall 231 may be connected to the ground housing of a mating connector inserted into the inner space 230a. For example, as shown in FIG. 16, the ground inner wall 231 may be connected to the ground housing 330 of the mating connector. In this manner, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can further enhance its shielding function through the connection between the ground housing 230 and the ground housing of the mating connector. Furthermore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can reduce adverse electrical effects such as crosstalk that may occur due to capacitance or induction between adjacent terminals through the connection between the ground housing 230 and the ground housing of the mating connector. In this case, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can secure a path for electromagnetic waves to flow to the ground of at least one of the first board and the second board, thereby further enhancing EMI shielding performance.

[0124] The outer ground wall 232 is spaced apart from the inner ground wall 231. The outer ground wall 232 may be disposed outside the inner ground wall 231. The outer ground wall 232 may be disposed to surround all sides of the inner ground wall 231. The outer ground wall 232 and the inner ground wall 231 may be implemented as a shielding wall surrounding the sides of the inner space 230a. The first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 may be positioned in the inner space 230a surrounded by the shielding wall. Accordingly, the ground housing 230 may implement a shielding function for the RF contact 210 using the shielding wall. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may contribute to further improving EMI shielding performance and EMC performance using the shielding wall.

[0125] The outer ground wall 232 may be grounded by being mounted on the first substrate. In this case, the ground housing 230 may be grounded through the outer ground wall 232. When one end of the outer ground wall 232 is connected to the ground connecting wall 233, the other end of the outer ground wall 232 may be mounted on the first substrate. In this case, the outer ground wall 232 may be formed to have a greater height than the inner ground wall 231.

[0126] The ground connection wall 233 is coupled to each of the inner ground wall 231 and the outer ground wall 232. The ground connection wall 233 may be disposed between the inner ground wall 231 and the outer ground wall 232. The inner ground wall 231 and the outer ground wall 232 may be electrically connected to each other through the ground connection wall 233. Accordingly, when the outer ground wall 232 is mounted on the first board and grounded, the ground connection wall 233 and the inner ground wall 231 are also grounded, thereby implementing a shielding function.

[0127] The ground connecting wall 233 may be coupled to one end of the outer ground wall 232 and one end of the inner ground wall 231. With reference to Fig. 16, one end of the outer ground wall 232 may correspond to the upper end of the outer ground wall 232, and one end of the inner ground wall 231 may correspond to the upper end of the inner ground wall 231. The ground connecting wall 233 may be formed in a horizontally arranged plate shape, and the outer ground wall 232 and the inner ground wall 231 may be formed in a vertically arranged plate shape. The ground connecting wall 233, the outer ground wall 232, and the inner ground wall 231 may be integrally formed.

[0128] The ground connection wall 233 can be connected to the ground housing of the mating connector inserted into the inner space 230a. Accordingly, in the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment, the ground outer wall 232 and the ground connection wall 233 are connected to the ground housing of the mating connector, thereby increasing the contact area between the ground housing 230 and the ground housing of the mating connector, thereby further enhancing the shielding function.

[0129] The ground bottom 234 protrudes from the lower end of the ground inner wall 231 toward the inner space 230a. That is, the ground bottom 234 may protrude inward of the ground inner wall 231. The ground bottom 234 may be formed in a closed ring shape extending along the lower end of the ground inner wall 231. The ground bottom 234 may be grounded by being mounted on the first board. In this case, the ground housing 330 may be grounded through the ground bottom 234. When the mating connector is inserted into the inner space 230a, the ground bottom 234 may be connected to the ground housing of the mating connector. The ground bottom 234 may be formed in a horizontally arranged plate shape.

[0130] Here, the ground housing 230 may implement a shielding function for the first RF contact 211 together with the first ground contact 250. The ground housing 230 may implement a shielding function for the second RF contact 212 together with the second ground contact 260.

[0131] 15, the ground housing 230 may include a first shielding wall 230b, a second shielding wall 230c, a third shielding wall 230d, and a fourth shielding wall 230e. The first shielding wall 230b, the second shielding wall 230c, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e may be implemented by the ground inner wall 231, the ground outer wall 232, and the ground connecting wall 233, respectively. The first shielding wall 230b and the second shielding wall 230c are disposed to face each other based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 may be located between the first shielding wall 230b and the second shielding wall 230c based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first RF contact 211 may be positioned at a shorter distance from the first shielding wall 230b than from the second shielding wall 230c in the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The second RF contact 212 may be positioned at a shorter distance from the second shielding wall 230c than from the first shielding wall 230b in the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The third shielding wall 230d and the fourth shielding wall 230e are disposed to face each other in the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). The first RF contact 211 and the second RF contact 212 may be positioned between the third shielding wall 230d and the fourth shielding wall 230e in the second axis direction (Y-axis direction).

[0132] The first ground contact 250 may be disposed between the first RF contact 211 and the transmission contact 220 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the first RF contact 211 may be disposed between the first shielding wall 230b and the first ground contact 250 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction), and may be disposed between the third shielding wall 230d and the fourth shielding wall 230e based on the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may enhance the shielding function for the first RF contact 211 by using the first ground contact 250, the first shielding wall 230b, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e. The first ground contact 250, the first shielding wall 230b, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e are disposed on four sides based on the first RF contact 211, thereby realizing shielding power against RF signals. In this case, the first ground contact 250, the first shielding wall 230b, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e may implement the first ground loop (250a, shown in FIG. 15) for the first RF contact 211. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may implement complete shielding for the first RF contact 211 by further strengthening the shielding function for the first RF contact 211 using the first ground loop 250a.

[0133] The second ground contact 260 may be disposed between the second RF contact 212 and the transmission contact 220 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Accordingly, the second RF contact 212 may be disposed between the second shielding wall 230c and the second ground contact 260 based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction), and may be disposed between the third shielding wall 230d and the fourth shielding wall 230e based on the second axis direction (Y-axis direction). Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may enhance the shielding function for the second RF contact 212 by using the second ground contact 260, the second shielding wall 230c, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e. The second ground contact 260, the second shielding wall 230c, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e are disposed on four sides based on the second RF contact 212, thereby realizing shielding power against RF signals. In this case, the second ground contact 260, the second shielding wall 230c, the third shielding wall 230d, and the fourth shielding wall 230e may implement the second ground loop (260a, shown in FIG. 15) for the second RF contact 212. Therefore, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment may implement complete shielding for the second RF contact 212 by further enhancing the shielding function for the second RF contact 212 using the second ground loop 260a.

[0134] 2 to 16, in the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment, the insulating part 240 may be implemented as follows.

[0135] The insulating part 240 may include an insulating member 241 , an insert member 242 , and a connecting member 243 .

[0136] The insulating member 241 supports the RF contact 210 and the transmission contact 220. The insulating member 241 may be located in the inner space 230a. The insulating member 241 may be located inside the grounding inner wall 231. The insulating member 241 may be inserted into the inner space of the mating connector.

[0137] The insert member 242 is inserted between the ground inner wall 231 and the ground outer wall 232. The insert member 242 is inserted between the ground inner wall 231 and the ground outer wall 232, so that the insulating part 240 can be coupled to the ground housing 230. The insert member 242 can be inserted between the ground inner wall 231 and the ground outer wall 232 in an interference fit manner. The insert member 242 can be disposed outside the insulating member 241. The insert member 242 can be disposed to surround the outside of the insulating member 241.

[0138] The connecting member 243 is coupled to the insertion member 242 and the insulating member 241, respectively. The insertion member 242 and the insulating member 241 may be connected to each other through the connecting member 243. The connecting member 243 may be formed to have a thickness thinner than the insertion member 242 and the insulating member 241 in the vertical direction. Accordingly, a space is provided between the insertion member 242 and the insulating member 241, and the mating connector may be inserted into the space. The connecting member 243, the insertion member 242, and the connecting member 243 may be formed integrally.

[0139] The insulating portion 240 may include a solder joint inspection window (244, shown in FIG. 4).

[0140] The soldering inspection window 244 may be formed through the insulating portion 240. The soldering inspection window 244 may be used to inspect the state in which the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121 are mounted on the first board. In this case, the RF contact 210 may be coupled to the insulating portion 240 such that the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121 are positioned in the soldering inspection window 244. Accordingly, the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121 are not blocked by the insulating portion 240. Therefore, with the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment mounted on the first board, an operator can inspect the state in which the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121 are mounted on the first board through the soldering inspection window 244. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve the accuracy of the mounting operation of mounting the RF contacts 210 to the first board even if all of the RF contacts 210 including the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121 are located inside the ground housing 230. The soldering inspection window 244 can be formed by penetrating the insulating member 241.

[0141] The insulating portion 240 may include a plurality of soldering inspection windows 244. In this case, the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121 may be located in different soldering inspection windows 244. The transmission mounting members 2211 and 2221 may be located in some of the soldering inspection windows 244. The ground mounting members 2512, 2522, 2612, and 2622 may be located in some of the soldering inspection windows 244. Therefore, with the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment mounted on the first board, an operator can inspect the state in which the RF mounting members 2111 and 2121, the transmission mounting members 2211 and 2221, and the ground mounting members 2512, 2522, 2612, and 2622 are mounted on the first board through the soldering inspection window 244. Accordingly, the board connector 200 according to the first embodiment can improve the accuracy of the work of mounting the RF mounting members 2111, 2121, the transmission mounting members 2211, 2221, and the ground mounting members 2512, 2522, 2612, 2622 on the first board. The soldering inspection windows 244 may be formed at positions spaced apart from each other and penetrating the insulating portion 240.
