Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a seating device adjustment unit, and more particularly to a seating device adjustment unit capable of moving a pelvis support member provided in a seating device. [Background technology]
[0002] It is already known that in a seating device such as a vehicle seat, the part of the body of an occupant who is seated in the seat where the pelvis is located is supported by a movable body, and the position of the pelvis (specifically, the tilt angle of the pelvis in the front-rear direction, hereinafter also referred to as the pelvic angle) is adjusted by moving the movable body. To explain by way of an example, the vehicle seat described in Patent Document 1 is provided with a pelvis support as the above-mentioned movable body. When this pelvis support is moved in the vertical direction, the seating angle of the occupant's buttocks changes. By utilizing this movement, the vehicle seat described in Patent Document 1 can adjust the pelvic angle of the occupant to correct the seating posture of the occupant. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 8-126548 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Incidentally, the vehicle seat described in Patent Document 1 is provided with an operating lever that can be operated by the occupant, and the pelvis support moves up and down in response to the operation of this operating lever. That is, in the vehicle seat described in Patent Document 1, the amount of movement of the pelvis support, that is, the amount of adjustment of the pelvis angle, is determined according to the amount of operation of the operating lever by the occupant. Therefore, in the vehicle seat described in Patent Document 1, the amount of adjustment of the pelvis angle can be set arbitrarily, so there is a possibility that the effect of adjusting the pelvis angle by the pelvis support will not be properly exerted depending on the amount of operation of the operating lever.
[0005] On the other hand, the member for supporting the pelvis may be other than the pelvis support described above. For example, a seat-shaped member may be provided on the seat as the pelvis support member. This seat-shaped pelvis support member has a portion provided on the seat back and a portion provided on the seat cushion. In a configuration in which a pelvis support member of this type is provided on a seating device such as a seat, it is required to properly move the pelvis support member to correctly adjust the pelvis angle of the occupant.
[0006] Therefore, the present invention has been made in consideration of the above problems, and its object is to provide a seating device adjustment unit that can appropriately adjust the pelvic angle of an occupant using a pelvic support member while the occupant is seated in a seating device equipped with the pelvic support member. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The above-mentioned problem is solved by the seating device adjustment unit of the present invention, which comprises a seating device having a seat back and a seat cushion, a pelvis support member for supporting a part of an occupant's body where the pelvis is located, a movable mechanism capable of moving the pelvis support member, and a control unit for controlling the movable mechanism, and the pelvis support member is provided at the center in the width direction thereof with a part located at one end side and a part located at the other end side of the width direction of the pelvis support member, the part extending rearward. Separating notch A first kneading unit and a second kneading unit are provided on the pelvis support member, and the first kneading unit and the second kneading unit are provided between the first kneading unit and the second kneading unit in the sheet width direction. Cutout This is solved by placing
[0008] In the above-described seating device adjustment unit, the control unit may be configured to control the movable mechanism to move the pelvis support member after operating the first kneading unit and the second kneading unit.
[0009] In addition, in the above-mentioned seating device adjustment unit, a third kneading unit and a fourth kneading unit are provided forward of the first kneading unit and the second kneading unit, and the third kneading unit and the fourth kneading unit are provided between the third kneading unit and the fourth kneading unit in the seat width direction. Cutout may be arranged.
[0010] In the above seating device adjustment unit, the third kneading unit and the fourth kneading unit may have a shape narrower than the first kneading unit and the second kneading unit.
[0011] In the above-mentioned seating device adjustment unit, the pelvis support member may be made of a plate material.
[0012] In the seating device adjustment unit, the first kneading unit and the second kneading unit may be air cells. Effect of the Invention
[0015] According to the present invention, the pelvis angle of the occupant can be appropriately adjusted while the occupant is seated in the seating device. Furthermore, according to the present invention, it is possible to more appropriately adjust the degree of inclination in accordance with the amount of change that occurs when the degree of inclination changes as a result of an occupant sitting on the seating device. Furthermore, according to the present invention, the variations in adjusting the degree of inclination are increased. Furthermore, according to the present invention, by controlling the movable mechanism to oscillate the pelvis support member while maintaining a constant degree of inclination, it is possible to stimulate the part of the occupant's body where the pelvis is located, thereby making it possible to train the occupant's body. In addition, according to the present invention, by controlling the movable mechanism so that the pelvis support member reciprocates (sways) back and forth a predetermined number of times, it is possible to effectively train the part of the occupant's body where the pelvis is located. The present invention also provides improved accuracy in identifying an occupant seated in a seating arrangement. Furthermore, according to the present invention, it is possible to adjust the pelvic angle of an occupant while the occupant is seated in the vehicle seat. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] An example of the configuration and operation of one embodiment of the present invention (the present embodiment) will be described below. In the following, an example will be described in which the seating device adjustment unit of the present invention is mounted on a vehicle. That is, in the embodiment described below, the seating device is a vehicle seat, and the seating device adjustment unit is provided for adjusting the vehicle seat.
[0018] In addition, the seating device adjustment unit of the present invention is not limited to being installed in a vehicle, but can also be installed in vehicles other than vehicles (e.g., aircraft or ships) and can be used to adjust seats installed in those vehicles.
[0019] In the following description, the "front-rear direction" refers to the front-rear direction as seen by an occupant seated in the vehicle seat, and is the same as the direction in which the vehicle travels. The "seat width direction" refers to the width direction of the seating device, and is the left-right direction as seen by an occupant seated in the vehicle seat. The "up-down direction" refers to the up-down direction as seen by an occupant seated in the vehicle seat, and is the same as the vertical direction when the vehicle is traveling on a horizontal plane.
[0020] <<Overview of the seating device adjustment unit according to this embodiment>> First, an outline of the seating device adjustment unit (hereinafter, simply referred to as the seating device adjustment unit 100) according to this embodiment will be described. The seating device adjustment unit 100 is mounted in a vehicle and is used for the purpose of correcting the posture of a vehicle occupant while the vehicle occupant is seated in the vehicle seat S (hereinafter, referred to as the seating period). To explain in more detail, the seating device adjustment unit 100 displaces a part of the body of the occupant where the pelvis is located (hereinafter, referred to as the pelvic region) by changing the state of a part of the vehicle seat S (specifically, the pelvis support member 1 described later) during the seating period. By displacing the pelvic region in this way, the seating posture of the occupant is corrected, and more strictly, the pelvic angle of the occupant (the degree of inclination of the pelvis in the front-rear direction) is adjusted.
[0021] Regarding the adjustment function of the seating device adjustment unit 100, three types of adjustment are possible in this embodiment. The first adjustment is to adjust the seat state so that the pelvic angle of the occupant is corrected to an angle suitable for the occupant. The second adjustment is to adjust the seat state so that the pelvic angle of the occupant is corrected to an ideal angle. The third adjustment is to adjust the seat state so that the pelvic region of the occupant is swung in order to train the muscles in the pelvic region.
[0022] The occupant selects one of the three types of adjustment and receives the selected adjustment during the seating period. In this embodiment, the seating device adjustment unit 100 is used to adjust the state of a seat corresponding to the driver's seat among the vehicle seats S. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the seating device adjustment unit 100 may be used for the purpose of adjusting the state of a vehicle seat S other than the driver's seat (for example, a passenger seat or a rear seat).
[0023] <<Example of configuration of seating adjustment unit>> Next, a configuration example of the seating device adjustment unit 100 will be described with reference to Figs. 1 and 2. As shown in Fig. 1, the seating device adjustment unit 100 has a vehicle seat S as a seating device and a pelvis support member 1 installed in the vehicle seat S. As shown in Fig. 2, the seating device adjustment unit 100 has a movable mechanism 50 capable of moving the pelvis support member 1. The seating device adjustment unit 100 also has a kneading unit 80 to effectively perform the second adjustment described above. Furthermore, the seating device adjustment unit 100 has an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) 60, which is a device that controls the movable mechanism 50, and various sensors that transmit signals to the ECU 60. Each component of the seating device adjustment unit 100 will be described below.
[0024] (Vehicle seats) The vehicle seat S has the same structure as a general vehicle seat S, except that it has a pelvis support member 1 inside. That is, the vehicle seat S has a seat back S1, a seat cushion S2, and a headrest S3 as shown in FIG. 1. The seat back S1, the seat cushion S2, and the headrest S3 form a seating part Sh, which is a main part of the vehicle seat S. The seat back S1 and the seat cushion S2 each have a frame inside, and are configured by supporting a pad P on the frame and then covering the surface of the pad P with a skin. Note that, as the skin constituting the seat back S1 and the seat cushion S2, it is desirable to use a skin with high elasticity in consideration of the movement of the pelvis support member 1.
[0025] (Pelvic support member) The pelvis support member 1 is a resin molded product formed into a seatback shape. The pelvis support member 1 is provided in a vehicle seat S, and more specifically, is provided so as to extend from a lower portion of the seat back S1 to a rear portion of the seat cushion S2. That is, a part of the pelvis support member 1 is provided in the seat back S1 as shown in FIG. 1, and the remaining part is provided in the seat cushion S2.
[0026] 3 and 4, the portion of the pad P constituting the seat back S1 and the seat cushion S2 where the pelvis support member 1 is to be placed is hollowed out to ensure a space for installing the pelvis support member 1. After the pelvis support member 1 is installed in this space, the pad P together with the pelvis support member 1 is covered with the skin constituting the seat back S1 and the seat cushion S2.
[0027] The seat-shaped pelvis support member 1 supports the pelvic region of the occupant's body as shown in FIG. 1 during the seating period. Each part of the pelvis support member 1 is movable. As each part of the pelvis support member 1 moves, the shape and position of the pelvis support member 1 change. More specifically, the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 (angle indicated by symbol α in FIG. 2) and the amount of displacement of the pelvis support member 1 from its initial position (angle indicated by symbol β in FIG. 2) change. As the shape and position of the pelvis support member 1 change as described above, the seat condition (particularly the condition around the occupant's pelvic region) is adjusted.
[0028] The detailed structure of the pelvis support member 1 will be described below with reference to Figures 3 to 8. The pelvis support member 1 is in the form of a seatback and is generally L-shaped in side view. As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the pelvis support member 1 has a seat back side support part 10, a seat cushion side support part 20, and a connecting part 30.
[0029] The seatback side support part 10 forms the upper end part of the pelvis support member 1, and is provided on the seat back S1 when the pelvis support member 1 is attached to the seating part Sh of the vehicle seat S. In other words, the seatback side support part 10 is located behind the back of the occupant during the seating period. The shape of the seatback side support part 10 is a wide trapezoidal shape when viewed from the front, as shown in FIG. 5, and is symmetrical with respect to the center of the pelvis support member 1 in the seat width direction. In addition, the seatback side support part 10 is curved in an arch shape so as to be located forward toward the end in the seat width direction, as shown in FIG. 7.
[0030] 5, an inverted triangular notch 11 extending downward from the upper end of the seatback support part 10 is formed in the center of the seatback support part 10 in the seat width direction. By forming this notch 11, the seatback support part 10 is divided into a portion located on one end side in the seat width direction (the left half part in FIG. 5, hereinafter referred to as the first seatback support part 12) and a portion located on the other end side in the seat width direction (the right half part in FIG. 5, hereinafter referred to as the second seatback support part 13).
[0031] The seat cushion side support part 20 forms the lower end part of the pelvis support member 1, and is provided on the seat cushion S2 when the pelvis support member 1 is attached to the seating part Sh of the vehicle seat S. In other words, the seat cushion side support part 20 is located below the buttocks of the occupant while seated. Regarding the shape of the seat cushion side support part 20, as shown in Fig. 6, the seat cushion side support part 20 is slightly wider than the seat back side support part 10, and has a shape symmetrical with respect to the center of the pelvis support member 1 in the seat width direction.
[0032] 6, an inverted triangular notch 21 extending rearward from the front end of the seat cushion support part 20 is formed in the center of the seat cushion support part 20 in the seat width direction. By forming this notch 21, the seat cushion support part 20 is divided into a part located on one end side in the seat width direction (the right half part in FIG. 6, hereinafter referred to as the first seat cushion support part 22) and a part located on the other end side in the seat width direction (the left half part in FIG. 6, hereinafter referred to as the second seat cushion support part 23).
[0033] As shown in FIG. 8, the first seat cushion side support portion 22 and the second seat cushion side support portion 23 are each curved in an arch shape so as to be positioned upward toward the ends in the seat width direction.
[0034] The connecting part 30 is disposed directly below the seat back side support part 10, and connects the lower end of the seat back side support part 10 and the rear end of the seat cushion side support part 20. The connecting part 30 is provided on the seat back S1 in a state in which the pelvis support member 1 is attached to the seating part Sh of the vehicle seat S. In other words, the connecting part 30 is located behind the back of the occupant during the seating period.
[0035] 5, the connecting part 30 has an inverted isosceles trapezoidal shape in front view, narrowing downward. The width (length in the seat width direction) of the connecting part 30 is shorter than the width of the seatback side support part 10 and shorter than the seat cushion side support part 20. In other words, the pelvis support member 1 is somewhat constricted toward the inside in the seat width direction at the connecting part 30.
[0036] The connecting portion 30 has a shape that is symmetrical with respect to the center of the pelvis support member 1 in the seat width direction, and is curved in an arch shape so as to be positioned forward as it approaches the end in the seat width direction.
[0037] Incidentally, the seat back side support part 10, the seat cushion side support part 20 and the connecting part 30 all have a base part 1x made of a plate material. The plate material constituting this base part 1x has a suitable degree of flexibility. Therefore, when a load is applied to the pelvis support member 1, the pelvis support member 1 bends (elastically deforms) so that the part is moved in the load application direction.
[0038] Therefore, when the seatback side support part 10 is pushed forward, the seatback side support part 10 falls (tilts forward) toward the seat cushion side support part 20. As the seatback side support part 10 tilts forward, the degree of inclination of the seatback side support part 10 with respect to the seat cushion side support part 20 increases (in other words, the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 increases). Here, "the degree of bending increases" means that the seatback side support part 10 approaches the seat cushion side support part 20 closer, and the angle α shown in FIG. 2 decreases.
[0039] Similarly, when the seat cushion side support part 20 is pushed upward, the seat cushion side support part 20 rises toward the seat back side support part 10 (i.e., the front end of the seat cushion side support part 20 moves upward). As the seat cushion side support part 20 rises, the inclination angle of the seat cushion side support part 20 with respect to the seat back side support part 10 increases (in other words, the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 increases).
[0040] When one of the seatback side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 moves toward the other so as to change the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1, the lower end of the connecting part 30 serves as the base point. That is, each of the seatback side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 can rotate about an axis along the seat width direction with the lower end of the connecting part 30 as the base point.
[0041] Further explaining the configurations of the seat back side support part 10, the seat cushion side support part 20 and the connecting part 30, a cushion mat 1y formed in a piece shape is attached to the surface of the base part 1x of each of the seat back side support part 10, the seat cushion side support part 20 and the connecting part 30. The cushion mat 1y is attached to the surface of the base part 1x that faces the occupant seated in the vehicle seat S, and is shaped to appropriately fit the pelvic region of the occupant. In this embodiment, a plurality of cushion mats 1y are provided at positions spaced apart from each other.
[0042] (movable mechanism) The movable mechanism 50 is provided to move the pelvis support member 1 so as to change the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 (in other words, the degree of inclination of the seat back side support part 10 or the seat cushion side support part 20). The movable mechanism 50 according to this embodiment has lumbar supports 2, 3, a pump 6, and an air adjustment valve 7, as shown in FIG.
[0043] The lumbar supports 2, 3 are made of air bags, and expand when air is sealed inside and contract when the air is discharged. As can be seen from Figs. 3 and 4, the lumbar supports 2, 3 are arranged on the rear side of the pelvis support member 1 (the side opposite to the side supporting the occupant) in the seat back S1 and the seat cushion S2. When the lumbar supports 2, 3 expand, they press the pelvis support member 1 from the rear side. This causes the pressed part of the pelvis support member 1 to move along the pressing direction. Conversely, when the lumbar supports 2, 3 contract, the pressed part of the pelvis support member 1 is released from the pressing force and returns to its original position.
[0044] To explain the lumbar supports 2 and 3 in detail, in this embodiment, a plurality of lumbar supports 2 and 3 are provided. The first lumbar support 2 (hereinafter, the seatback side lumbar support 2) is disposed behind the seatback side support part 10 in the seatback S1. By pressing the seatback side support part 10 from behind, the seatback side lumbar support 2 moves the seatback side support part 10 so that the seatback side support part 10 rotates around an axis along the seat width direction with the connecting part 30 as a base point.
[0045] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 9, the seatback-side lumbar support 2 expands in a generally fan-like shape when viewed from the side when inflated, and expands so that the expansion amount (expansion amount) increases toward the upper end. The upper end of the seatback-side lumbar support 2 faces the upper end of the rear surface of the seatback-side support part 10. Therefore, when the seatback-side lumbar support 2 expands in a generally fan-like shape, the upper end of the seatback-side support part 10 is pushed forward by the seatback-side lumbar support 2. As a result, the seatback-side support part 10 rotates (tilts forward) around an axis (indicated by symbol M in the figure) along the seat width direction with the connecting part 30 as the base point, as shown in FIG. 9. As a result, the degree of inclination of the seatback-side support part 10 with respect to the seat cushion-side support part 20 changes.
[0046] The second lumbar support 3 (hereinafter, referred to as the seat cushion side lumbar support 3) is disposed in the seat cushion S2 at a position below the seat cushion side support part 20. The seat cushion side lumbar support 3 presses the seat cushion side support part 20 from below, thereby moving the seat cushion side support part 20 so that the seat cushion side support part 20 rotates around an axis along the seat width direction with the connecting part 30 as a base point.
[0047] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 10, the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 expands in a generally fan-like shape when viewed from the side when inflated, and expands so that the amount of expansion (amount of expansion) increases toward the front end. The front end of the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is located directly below the front end of the lower surface of the seat cushion side support part 20. Therefore, when the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 expands in a generally fan-like shape, the front end of the seat cushion side support part 20 is pressed upward by the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. As a result, the seat cushion side support part 20 rotates (rises up) upward around an axis (indicated by symbol M in the figure) along the seat width direction with the connecting part 30 as the base point, as shown in FIG. 10. As a result, the degree of inclination of the seat cushion side support part 20 with respect to the seat back side support part 10 changes.
[0048] As shown in Fig. 4, a rectangular support plate 40 is disposed below the seat cushion side support part 20. This support plate 40 is relatively large in size and therefore supports the seat cushion side support part 20 over a relatively wide range. The seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is disposed below the support plate 40. Therefore, the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 presses the seat cushion side support part 20 via the support plate 40. In this way, the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 presses the seat cushion side support part 20 via the support plate 40, thereby making it possible to move the seat cushion side support part 20 efficiently.
[0049] As described above, in this embodiment, the degree of inclination of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 (i.e., the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1) can be adjusted by changing the amount of air enclosed in the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3.
[0050] The pump 6 and the air adjustment valve 7 are devices that operate to adjust the amount of expansion of the lumbar support. The pump 6 is configured by a pump capable of sucking and supplying air, and supplies air to each of the lumbar supports 2, 3 and sucks air from within each of the lumbar supports 2, 3. As shown in FIG. 2, two types of pumps are used in this embodiment, one pump (hereinafter, the first pump 6A) is a pump capable of sucking and supplying air, and the other pump (hereinafter, the second pump 6B) is a pump capable of only supplying air. However, this is not limited to this, and only pumps capable of sucking and supplying air may be used.
[0051] The air adjustment valve 7 opens and closes to adjust the air pressure in each of the lumbar supports 2 and 3. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, five air adjustment valves 7 are used. The first air adjustment valve 7 (hereinafter, the first inlet valve 7A) is an air adjustment valve 7 that opens when supplying air to the seat back side lumbar support 2. The second air adjustment valve 7 (hereinafter, the second inlet valve 7B) is an air adjustment valve 7 that opens when supplying air to the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. The third air adjustment valve 7 (hereinafter, the first suction valve 7C) is an air adjustment valve 7 that opens when sucking in air in the seat back side lumbar support 2. The fourth air adjustment valve 7 (hereinafter, the second suction valve 7D) is an air adjustment valve 7 that opens when sucking in air in the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. The fifth air adjustment valve 7 is an exhaust valve 7E provided to exhaust air sucked from the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3.
[0052] By switching between opening and closing of each of the five air regulating valves 7, it is possible to individually adjust the amount of inflation of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. For example, by opening the first inlet valve 7A and supplying air from the pump 6 with the remaining air regulating valves 7 closed, it is possible to inflate the seat back side lumbar support 2.
[0053] In addition, by adjusting the operation of the pump 6 and the opening and closing of each air adjustment valve 7, it is possible to simultaneously adjust the inflation amounts of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. For example, while the first suction valve 7C is open and the first pump 6A sucks air from the seat back side lumbar support 2, the second inflow valve 7B is open and air is supplied from the second pump 6B to the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. This makes it possible to increase the inflation amount of the seat back side lumbar support 2 while decreasing the inflation amount of the seat cushion side lumbar support 3.
[0054] By simultaneously adjusting the expansion amount of each lumbar support 2, 3, for example, it becomes possible to swing the pelvis support member 1 without changing the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1. Specifically, the expansion amount of one of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is increased and the expansion amount of the other is decreased by the same amount. As a result, as shown in Figs. 11A and 11B, the pelvis support member 1 swings about an axis (indicated by symbol N in the figures) while keeping the degree of bending constant. Here, the axis is a fulcrum when the pelvis support member 1 swings, and is located along the seat width direction and below the seat cushion side support part 20.
[0055] The kneading unit 80 performs a kneading operation prior to the pelvis support member 1 when a second control mode described later is selected. The kneading operation is an operation performed to loosen the occupant's muscles when correcting the pelvis angle of the occupant to an ideal angle. The kneading unit 80 is composed of a pair of left and right air cells (hereinafter, kneading air cells 81) provided at three locations in the seating portion Sh over a range that supports the occupant's waist to thighs, totaling six kneading air cells 81. Each kneading air cell 81 expands when air is sealed therein, and contracts when the sealed air is exhausted to the outside. The above-mentioned pump 6 and air adjustment valve 7 are used to seal and discharge air into and from the kneading air cells 81. Note that in FIG. 2, the kneading air cells 81 and the intake line to the kneading air cells 81 are omitted.
[0056] Regarding the position of the kneading air cells 81, the first kneading air cells 81 are arranged at positions corresponding to the gluteus maximus in the occupant's back. Specifically, the first kneading air cells 81 are attached and fixed to both ends in the seat width direction, one each, in the lower region of the cushion mat 1y provided in the seat back side support portion 10 of the pelvis support member 1, as shown in FIG.
[0057] The second kneading air cells 81 are arranged at positions facing the positions of the occupant's back that correspond to the parts of the lower thighs. Specifically, the second kneading air cells 81 are attached and fixed to both ends in the seat width direction, one each, in the front region of the cushion mat 1y provided in the seat cushion side support part 20 of the pelvis support member 1, as shown in FIG. The third kneading air cells 81 are disposed at positions facing the positions of the occupant's back that correspond to the area below the knees. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 3, the third kneading air cells 81 are attached and fixed to both ends in the seat width direction of the front end of the pad P that constitutes the seat cushion S2. The number and arrangement of the kneading air cells 81 described above are merely an example, and may be different from the above.
[0058] (Various sensors) Various sensors for measuring the seat state while the occupant is seated are attached to the vehicle seat S. In this embodiment, an angle sensor 8, an air pressure sensor 9, and a weight sensor 70 are attached.
[0059] The angle sensor 8 is a sensor that measures the degree of inclination of each of the seat back side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 during the seating period, i.e., the inclination angle. The angle sensor 8 is a known sensor that can detect the inclination angle in a non-contact manner. Here, the inclination angle is the amount of displacement, expressed as an angle, of each of the seat back side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 when displaced from their initial positions. The angle sensor 8 outputs a signal according to the measurement result of the inclination angle to the ECU 60.
[0060] In this embodiment, one angle sensor 8 is attached to each of the seat back side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20. The angle sensor 8 attached to the seat back side support part 10 measures the inclination angle of the seat back side support part 10 relative to the seat cushion side support part 20 during the seating period. The angle sensor 8 attached to the seat cushion side support part 20 measures the inclination angle of the seat cushion side support part 20 relative to the seat back side support part 10 during the seating period. Incidentally, a configuration in which only one of the above two angle sensors 8 is installed may also be used.
[0061] The air pressure sensor 9 measures the air pressure inside the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. The air pressure sensor 9 is a known sensor capable of detecting the air pressure of the lumbar support, and is provided for each lumbar support. The air pressure sensor 9 outputs a signal according to the measurement result of the air pressure to the ECU 60. The air pressure changes according to the amount of air enclosed in each lumbar support (in other words, the amount of expansion), and also changes according to the seating pressure applied when an occupant sits in the vehicle seat S.
[0062] The weight sensor 70 measures the amount of change in the weight of the vehicle seat S that changes when an occupant sits on the vehicle seat S, in other words, the weight of the occupant. The weight sensor 70 is a known seat weight sensor and is attached to a position below the seat cushion S2. The weight sensor 70 outputs a signal to the ECU 60 according to the measurement result of the occupant's weight.
[0063] (ECU) The ECU 60 constitutes a control unit that controls the movable mechanism 50, and during the seating period, controls the start / stop of the pump 6 and the opening / closing of the air regulating valve 7. The ECU 60 also receives output signals from the various sensors described above, and controls the movable mechanism 50 according to the sensor measurement results indicated by the received signals.
[0064] Regarding the control mode when the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50, four types of control modes are prepared in this embodiment. The occupant selects one mode from the four types of control modes through the operation switch 61. Then, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 according to the one mode selected from the four types of control modes.
[0065] The four control modes are a first control mode, a second control mode, a third control mode, and a forced exhaust mode. Each mode will be described below.
[0066] The first control mode is a mode in which the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 is adjusted so that the pelvis angle of the occupant is corrected to an angle suitable for the occupant. Specifically, the ECU 60 stores a set value (hereinafter, a first set value) that is set for each of a plurality of occupants registered in advance for each occupant. This first set value is a value that is set as a degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 that is suitable for the occupant to continue to be seated in the vehicle seat S.
[0067] When controlling the movable mechanism 50 in accordance with the first control mode, the ECU 60 reads out a first setting value corresponding to an occupant seated in the vehicle seat S. Then, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 (in other words, the degree of inclination of the seatback side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20) changes to the read-out first setting value.
[0068] The second control mode is a mode for adjusting the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 so that the pelvis angle of the occupant is corrected (corrected) to an ideal angle. Specifically, the ECU 60 stores a set value (hereinafter, a second set value) that is set for each of a plurality of occupants registered in advance for each occupant. This second set value is a value that is set as a degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 that is suitable for correcting the pelvis angle of the occupant to an ideal angle.
[0069] When controlling the movable mechanism 50 in accordance with the second control mode, the ECU 60 reads out a second setting value corresponding to an occupant seated in the vehicle seat S. Then, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 (in other words, the degree of inclination of the seatback side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20) changes to the read-out second setting value.
[0070] As described above, the first control mode and the second control mode are common in that they control the movable mechanism 50 so as to change the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 to a setting value corresponding to the occupant seated in the vehicle seat S. On the other hand, the first setting value and the second setting value set for the same occupant are different from each other, and for example, the second setting value is set so that the amount of change in the degree of bending is larger than that of the first setting value.
[0071] In addition, when the second control mode is selected, the ECU 60 controls the pump 6 and the air regulating valve 7 of the movable mechanism 50 so that the kneading air cell 81 that constitutes the kneading unit 80 expands and contracts (in other words, so that a kneading operation is performed).
[0072] The third control mode is a mode in which the entire pelvis support member 1 is swung while maintaining a constant degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 for the purpose of training the muscles in the pelvis region of the occupant. More specifically, in the third control mode, the inflation amounts of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 are adjusted simultaneously.
[0073] More precisely, the amount of expansion of the seatback side lumbar support 2 is increased by a fixed amount, and at the same time, the amount of expansion of the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is decreased by the same amount. As a result, the pelvis support member 1 moves to a forward tilted position while maintaining a constant degree of bending. After that, the amount of expansion of each of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is changed in a procedure reverse to the above procedure. As a result, the pelvis support member 1 moves to a backward tilted position while maintaining a constant degree of bending. By repeating the above procedure, the pelvis support member 1 moves back and forth in the rocking direction about an axis (indicated by symbol N in Figures 11A and 11B) along the seat width direction.
[0074] When controlling the movable mechanism 50 according to the third control mode, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 to reciprocate the pelvis support member 1 a predetermined number of times in the swing direction. In other words, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 to end the swinging action at the point when the pelvis support member 1 has reciprocated a predetermined number of times in the swing direction, and thereafter to return the pelvis support member 1 to a predetermined position (for example, the initial position).
[0075] The forced exhaust mode is a mode in which air is forcedly exhausted from each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. Specifically, air is sucked by the first pump 6A with the first suction valve 7C, the second suction valve 7D, and the exhaust valve 7E open. This causes air to be exhausted from each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3.
[0076] In this embodiment, the control modes include the above four types of modes, but the types and number of control modes are not particularly limited, and for example, modes other than the above four types of modes may be included.
[0077] In the present embodiment, the ECU 60 has a function of identifying an occupant seated in the vehicle seat S. That is, the ECU 60 according to the present embodiment constitutes an occupant identification unit for identifying an occupant seated in the vehicle seat S.
[0078] Specifically, when the occupant starts to sit in the vehicle seat S (i.e., when the seating period starts), the angle sensor 8 measures the inclination angles of the seat back side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 at that time, and the weight sensor 70 measures the seat weight at that time (i.e., the weight of the occupant). The ECU 60 receives output signals from the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70, and identifies the measurement results at the start of the seating period.
[0079] Furthermore, the ECU 60 stores information regarding the amount of change in the degree of bending of the pelvis support member 1 when each of a plurality of pre-registered occupants sits in the vehicle seat S, and information regarding the weight of the occupant. Then, when the ECU 60 identifies the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70 at the start of the seating period, it is possible to identify the occupant by comparing the identified measurement results with the above information.
[0080] As described above, in this embodiment, the ECU 60 identifies the occupant based on the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70, but the present invention is not limited to this. The occupant may be identified based on information other than the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70, for example, occupant information input by the occupant using an input device (not shown), image information of the occupant captured by a camera mounted in the vehicle, or occupant information obtained by communicating with an information terminal (such as a smartphone) carried by the occupant. The occupant may also be identified by a device other than the ECU 60.
[0081] <<Example of operation of the seating adjustment unit>> Next, an example of the operation of the seating device adjustment unit 100 described above will be described. The state adjustment of the vehicle seat S in the seating device adjustment unit 100 (hereinafter, referred to as the adjustment process) is started, for example, when an occupant gets into the vehicle. The main flow of the adjustment process proceeds according to the procedure shown in FIG.
[0082] Specifically, in the main flow, first, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 during a non-seated period when an occupant is not seated in the vehicle seat S to set each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 to an initial state (S001). More specifically, before the occupant sits in the vehicle seat S, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that a specified amount of air is sealed in each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. As a result, each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is inflated until its inclination angle reaches its initial value.
[0083] The ECU 60 stores an initial value of the inclination angle and an air pressure corresponding to the initial value for each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. When the ECU 60 inflates the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 until the inclination angle reaches the initial value in step S001, the ECU 60 monitors the measurement result of the air pressure sensor 9, and stops the air supply when the measurement result reaches the air pressure corresponding to the initial value.
[0084] Thereafter, when the occupant sits on the vehicle seat S, the pelvis support member 1 supports the pelvis of the occupant, and the inclination angles of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 change accordingly. The angle sensor 8 measures the inclination angles of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 at that time (i.e., the start time of the sitting period) and outputs a signal according to the measurement result (S002). The ECU 60 receives the output signal from the angle sensor 8 and identifies the measurement result of the inclination angle at the start time of the sitting period (S003).
[0085] Meanwhile, the ECU 60 stores the inclination angles of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 when they are adjusted to their initial states during the non-seated period, i.e., the initial values of the inclination angles. Then, the ECU 60 determines the difference between the measurement result of the inclination angle determined in step S003 and the initial value of the inclination angle (S004).
[0086] When an occupant sits on the vehicle seat S, the weight sensor 70 measures the seat weight at that time, i.e., the weight of the occupant, and outputs a signal according to the measurement result (S005). The ECU 60 receives the output signal from the weight sensor 70 and identifies the weight of the occupant sitting on the vehicle seat S (S006).
[0087] Then, the ECU 60 identifies the occupant sitting in the vehicle seat S based on the difference between the measurement result of the inclination angle identified in step S004 and the initial value, and the weight of the occupant identified in step S006 (S007).
[0088] Thereafter, when the occupant operates the operation switch 61 (S008), the ECU 60 uses this as a trigger to control the movable mechanism 50. To explain in more detail, the ECU 60 identifies the control mode selected by the occupant through the operation switch 61 when controlling the movable mechanism 50 (S009). Thereafter, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 according to the identified control mode. The control of the movable mechanism 50 in each control mode ends when a control end condition is satisfied. The control flow in each control mode will be explained in detail below.
[0089] When the first control mode is selected, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 according to the flow shown in Fig. 13. Specifically, the ECU 60 first reads out the first setting value corresponding to the occupant identified in step S007 from among the first setting values stored for each occupant (S011). After that, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the inclination angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 become the first setting value (S012).
[0090] More specifically, the ECU 60 calculates the difference between the current tilt angle and the first set value. After that, the ECU 60 controls the pump 6 and the air adjustment valve 7 so that an amount of air corresponding to the calculated difference is supplied to or sucked into the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. As a result, the inflation amounts of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 are adjusted so that the tilt angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 become the first set value.
[0091] While controlling the movable mechanism 50 in accordance with the first control mode, the ECU 60 monitors the air pressure of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 measured by the air pressure sensor 9. Then, the ECU 60 ends the control of the movable mechanism 50 when the measurement result of the air pressure sensor 9 reaches an air pressure corresponding to the first set value.
[0092] As described above, in the first control mode, the movable mechanism 50 is controlled so that the inclination angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 become the first set value. Here, the first set value is a value corresponding to an occupant seated in the vehicle seat S, and more precisely, a value corresponding to an occupant identified by the ECU 60 from the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70. In this sense, the first control mode can be said to be a mode in which the movable mechanism 50 is controlled according to the identification result of the occupant and the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70.
[0093] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the occupant is identified based on the difference between the measurement result of the inclination angle at the start of the seating period and the initial value of the inclination angle. Therefore, the first control mode can be said to be a mode in which the movable mechanism 50 is controlled based on the initial value of the inclination angle and the measurement result of the angle sensor 8 during the seating period.
[0094] Next, a case where the second control mode is selected will be described. In the second control mode, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 according to the flow shown in Fig. 14. Specifically, the ECU 60 first controls the pump 6 and the air regulating valve 7 of the movable mechanism 50 to expand and contract each kneading air cell 81 of the kneading unit 80, thereby starting the kneading operation (S021). Here, a plurality of patterns are prepared for the kneading operation, and in this embodiment, three patterns (kneading patterns) are prepared.
[0095] The first kneading pattern is a pattern in which all six kneading air cells 81 are expanded and contracted at the same timing. The second kneading pattern is a pattern in which the kneading air cells 81 provided at a position corresponding to the occupant's lower knees are expanded and contracted, and then the kneading air cells 81 provided at a position corresponding to the occupant's lower thighs are expanded and contracted, and then the kneading air cells 81 provided at a position corresponding to the occupant's gluteus maximus are expanded and contracted. The third kneading pattern is a pattern in which the kneading air cells 81 provided at a position corresponding to the occupant's lower knees and the kneading air cells 81 provided at a position corresponding to the occupant's gluteus maximus are expanded simultaneously, and then these kneading air cells 81 are contracted simultaneously, and then the kneading air cells 81 provided at a position corresponding to the occupant's lower thighs are expanded and contracted.
[0096] The ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the kneading operation is performed in a set pattern among the above three kneading patterns. Then, when the kneading operation has been continued for a predetermined time, the ECU 60 temporarily stops the movable mechanism 50 to end the kneading operation (S022).
[0097] Then, the ECU 60 reads out the second setting value corresponding to the occupant identified in step S007 from among the second setting values stored for each occupant (S023). Then, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the inclination angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 become the second setting value (S024).
[0098] More specifically, the ECU 60 calculates the difference between the current tilt angle and the second set value. After that, the ECU 60 controls the pump 6 and the air adjustment valve 7 so that an amount of air corresponding to the calculated difference is supplied to or sucked into the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. As a result, the inflation amounts of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 are adjusted so that the tilt angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 become the second set value.
[0099] While controlling the movable mechanism 50 according to the second control mode, the ECU 60 monitors the air pressure of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 measured by the air pressure sensor 9. When the measurement result of the air pressure sensor 9 reaches the air pressure corresponding to the second set value, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the air pressure at that time is maintained for a certain period of time (S025). When the air pressure is maintained for the certain period of time, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the air in each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is exhausted (S026). When all the air in each of the seat back side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 is exhausted, the ECU 60 ends the control of the movable mechanism 50.
[0100] As described above, in the second control mode, the movable mechanism 50 is controlled so that the inclination angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 become the second set value. Here, the second set value is a value corresponding to an occupant seated in the vehicle seat S, and more precisely, a value corresponding to an occupant identified by the ECU 60 from the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70. In this sense, the second control mode can be said to be a mode in which the movable mechanism 50 is controlled according to the identification result of the occupant and the measurement results of the angle sensor 8 and the weight sensor 70.
[0101] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the occupant is identified based on the difference between the measurement result of the inclination angle at the start of the seating period and the initial value of the inclination angle. Therefore, the second control mode can be said to be a mode in which the movable mechanism 50 is controlled based on the initial value of the inclination angle and the measurement result of the angle sensor 8 during the seating period.
[0102] Next, a case where the third control mode is selected will be described. In the third control mode, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 according to the flow shown in Fig. 15. Specifically, the ECU 60 first identifies the inclination angles of the seat back side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 at that time (S031). Then, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the entire pelvis support member 1 tilts forward while maintaining the identified inclination angles (S032).
[0103] Specifically, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the respective amounts of expansion of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 are adjusted simultaneously. At this time, the amount of expansion of the seatback side lumbar support 2 increases by an amount necessary to tilt the seatback side support part 10 forward by a predetermined angle. On the other hand, the amount of expansion of the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 decreases by an amount equivalent to the increase in the amount of expansion of the seatback side lumbar support 2. As a result, the pelvis support member 1 tilts forward by a predetermined angle while maintaining its degree of bending.
[0104] After that, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so as to adjust the respective amounts of expansion of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 in the reverse order to the above (S033). As a result, the amount of expansion of the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 increases by an amount necessary to tilt the seatback side support part 10 backward by a predetermined angle. On the other hand, the amount of expansion of the seatback side lumbar support 2 decreases by an amount equivalent to the increase in the amount of expansion of the seat cushion side lumbar support 3. As a result, the pelvis support member 1 tilts backward by a predetermined angle while maintaining its degree of bending.
[0105] The ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the above-mentioned forward tilting motion and backward tilting motion of the pelvis support member 1 are alternately repeated. The ECU 60 also counts the number of swinging motions, and specifically, increments the count by one each time the pelvis support member 1 is tilted forward and backward once (S034).
[0106] Then, when the count reaches a predetermined number (S035), the ECU 60 ends the control for rocking the pelvis support member 1. Thereafter, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the inclination angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 return to the angles specified in step S003 (i.e., the inclination angles at the start of the sitting period) (S036). Then, when the inclination angles of the seatback side support portion 10 and the seat cushion side support portion 20 return to the inclination angles at the start of the sitting period, the ECU 60 ends the control of the movable mechanism 50.
[0107] Next, a case where the forced exhaust mode is selected will be described. In the forced exhaust mode, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the air pressure of each of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 drops to a predetermined value (S041). When the air pressure of each of the seatback side lumbar support 2 and the seat cushion side lumbar support 3 drops to the predetermined value, the ECU 60 controls the movable mechanism 50 so that the inclination angle of each of the seatback side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 returns to the angle specified in step S003 (i.e., the inclination angle at the start of the sitting period) (S042). When the inclination angle of each of the seatback side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 returns to the inclination angle at the start of the sitting period, the ECU 60 ends the control of the movable mechanism 50.
[0108] <<Other embodiments>> The configuration of the seating device adjustment unit for adjusting the seat state of the vehicle seat S has been described above as one embodiment of the present invention. However, the above embodiment is an example for making the present invention easier to understand, and does not limit the present invention. In other words, the present invention can be modified and improved without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and of course, the present invention includes equivalents thereof.
[0109] In the above embodiment, a lumbar support (air bag) that can be expanded and contracted by the inflow and outflow of air is used as the moving mechanism. However, this is not limited to this, and other moving mechanisms (specifically, a mechanism that moves each part of the pelvis support member 1 by pulling a wire, or a mechanism that moves each part of the pelvis support member 1 using a rod that can be advanced and retreated) may be used.
[0110] In the above embodiment, the seat back side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 are rotated about an axis along the seat width direction when moving the pelvis support member 1. However, the direction in which the seat back side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 are moved is not particularly limited, and the seat back side support part 10 and the seat cushion side support part 20 may be moved straight in the front-rear direction or the up-down direction.
